Und die Ägypter beweinten ihn siebzig Tage.(D) Gen 50:3 καὶ ἐπλήρωσαν αὐτοῦ τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας οὕτως γὰρ καταριθμοῦνται αἱ ἡμέραι τῆς ταφῆς καὶ ἐπένθησεν αὐτὸν Αἴγυπτος ἑβδομήκοντα ἡμέρας(lxx) Gen 50:3 Forty days were required for him, for such are the days required for those who are embalmed; and the Egyptians mourned for him seventy days.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:4 ============ Gen 50:4 When the days of mourning for him were past, Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, "If now I have found favor in your sight, please speak to Pharaoh, saying,(nasb) Gen 50:4 Et expleto planctus tempore, locutus est Joseph ad familiam Pharaonis: Si inveni gratiam in conspectu vestro, loquimini in auribus Pharaonis:(vulgate) Génesis 50:4 Y pasados los días de su luto, habló José a los de la casa de Faraón, diciendo: Si he hallado ahora gracia en vuestros ojos, os ruego que habléis en oídos de Faraón, diciendo:(E) Genèse 50:4 Quand les jours du deuil furent passés, Joseph s'adressa aux gens de la maison de Pharaon, et leur dit: Si j'ai trouvé grâce à vos yeux, rapportez, je vous prie, à Pharaon ce que je vous dis.(F) Gen 50:4 Da nun die Leidtage aus waren, redete Joseph mit Pharaos Gesinde und sprach: Habe ich Gnade vor euch gefunden, so redet mit Pharao und sprecht:(D) Gen 50:4 ἐπειδὴ δὲ παρῆλθον αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ πένθους ἐλάλησεν Ιωσηφ πρὸς τοὺς δυνάστας Φαραω λέγων εἰ εὗρον χάριν ἐναντίον ὑμῶν λαλήσατε περὶ ἐμοῦ εἰς τὰ ὦτα Φαραω λέγοντες(lxx) Gen 50:4 And when the days of his mourning were past, Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, "If now I have found favor in your eyes, please speak in the hearing of Pharaoh, saying,(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:5 ============ Gen 50:5 'My father made me swear, saying, "Behold, I am about to die; in my grave which I dug for myself in the land of Canaan, there you shall bury me." Now therefore, please let me go up and bury my father; then I will return.'"(nasb) Gen 50:5 eo quod pater meus adjuraverit me dicens: En morior: in sepulchro meo, quod fodi mihi in terra Chanaan, sepelies me. Ascendam igitur, et sepeliam patrem meum, ac revertar.(vulgate) Génesis 50:5 Mi padre me hizo jurar diciendo: He aquí yo muero; en mi sepulcro que yo cavé para mí en la tierra de Canaán, allí me sepultarás; ruego, pues, que vaya yo ahora y sepulte a mi padre, y volveré.(E) Genèse 50:5 Mon père m'a fait jurer, en disant: Voici, je vais mourir! Tu m'enterreras dans le sépulcre que je me suis acheté au pays de Canaan. Je voudrais donc y monter, pour enterrer mon père; et je reviendrai.(F) Gen 50:5 Mein Vater hat einen Eid von mir genommen und gesagt: Siehe, ich sterbe; begrabe mich in meinem Grabe, das ich mir im Lande Kanaan gegraben habe. So will ich nun hinaufziehen und meinen Vater begraben und wiederkommen.(D) Gen 50:5 ὁ πατήρ μου ὥρκισέν με λέγων ἐν τῷ μνημείῳ ᾧ ὤρυξα ἐμαυτῷ ἐν γῇ Χανααν ἐκεῖ με θάψεις νῦν οὖν ἀναβὰς θάψω τὸν πατέρα μου καὶ ἐπανελεύσομαι(lxx) Gen 50:5 'My father made me swear, saying, "Behold, I am dying; in my grave which I dug for myself in the land of Canaan, there you shall bury me." Now therefore, please let me go up and bury my father, and I will come back.' Und es zogen mit ihm alle Knechte Pharaos, die Ältesten seines Hauses und alle Ältesten des Landes Ägypten,(D) Gen 50:7 καὶ ἀνέβη Ιωσηφ θάψαι τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ καὶ συνανέβησαν μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ πάντες οἱ παῖδες Φαραω καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντες οἱ πρεσβύτεροι τῆς γῆς Αἰγύπτου(lxx) Gen 50:7 So Joseph went up to bury his father; and with him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt,(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:8 ============ Gen 50:8 and all the household of Joseph and his brothers and his father's household; they left only their little ones and their flocks and their herds in the land of Goshen.(nasb) Gen 50:8 domus Joseph cum fratribus suis, absque parvulis, et gregibus atque armentis, quæ dereliquerant in terra Gessen.(vulgate) Génesis 50:8 Y toda la casa de José, y sus hermanos, y la casa de su padre: solamente dejaron en la tierra de Gosén sus niños, y sus ovejas y sus vacas.(E) Genèse 50:8 toute la maison de Joseph, ses frères, et la maison de son père: on ne laissa dans le pays de Gosen que les enfants, les brebis et les boeufs.(F) Gen 50:8 dazu das ganze Gesinde Josephs und seine Brüder und das Gesinde seines Vaters. Allein ihre Kinder, Schafe und Ochsen ließen sie im Lande Gosen.(D) Gen 50:8 καὶ πᾶσα ἡ πανοικία Ιωσηφ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ πᾶσα ἡ οἰκία ἡ πατρικὴ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὴν συγγένειαν καὶ τὰ πρόβατα καὶ τοὺς βόας ὑπελίποντο ἐν γῇ Γεσεμ(lxx) Gen 50:8 as well as all the house of Joseph, his brothers, and his father's house. Only their little ones, their flocks, and their herds they left in the land of Goshen.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:9 ============ Gen 50:9 There also went up with him both chariots and horsemen; and it was a very great company.(nasb) Gen 50:9 Habuit quoque in comitatu currus et equites: et facta est turba non modica.(vulgate) Génesis 50:9 Y subieron también con él carros y gente de a caballo, y se hizo un escuadrón muy grande.(E) Genèse 50:9 Il y avait encore avec Joseph des chars et des cavaliers, en sorte que le cortège était très nombreux.(F) Gen 50:9 Und es zogen mit ihm hinauf Wagen und Reisige, und war ein sehr großes Heer.(D) Gen 50:9 καὶ συνανέβησαν μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἅρματα καὶ ἱππεῖς καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ παρεμβολὴ μεγάλη σφόδρα(lxx) Gen 50:9 And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen, and it was a very great gathering.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:10 ============ Gen 50:10 When they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, they lamented there with a very great and sorrowful lamentation; and he observed seven days mourning for his father.(nasb) Gen 50:10 Veneruntque ad Aream Atad, quæ sita est trans Jordanem: ubi celebrantes exequias planctu magno atque vehementi impleverunt septem dies.(vulgate) Génesis 50:10 Y llegaron hasta la era de Atad, que está al otro lado del Jordán, y endecharon allí con grande y muy triste lamentación: y José hizo duelo a su padre por siete días.(E) Genèse 50:10 Arrivés à l'aire d'Athad, qui est au delà du Jourdain, ils firent entendre de grandes et profondes lamentations; et Joseph fit en l'honneur de son père un deuil de sept jours.(F) Gen 50:10 Da sie nun an die Tenne Atad kamen, die jenseit des Jordans liegt, da hielten sie eine gar große und bittere Klage; und er trug über seinen Vater Leid sieben Tage.(D) Gen 50:10 καὶ παρεγένοντο ἐφ᾽ ἅλωνα Αταδ ὅ ἐστιν πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου καὶ ἐκόψαντο αὐτὸν κοπετὸν μέγαν καὶ ἰσχυρὸν σφόδρα καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πένθος τῷ πατρὶ αὐτοῦ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας(lxx) Gen 50:10 Then they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, and they mourned there with a great and very solemn lamentation. He observed seven days of mourning for his father.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:11 ============ Gen 50:11 Now when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, "This is a grievous mourning for the Egyptians." Therefore it was named Abel-mizraim, which is beyond the Jordan.(nasb) Gen 50:11 Quod cum vidissent habitatores terræ Chanaan, dixerunt: Planctus magnus est iste Ægyptiis. Et idcirco vocatum est nomen loci illius, Planctus Ægypti.(vulgate) Génesis 50:11 Y viendo los moradores de la tierra, los cananeos, el llanto en la era de Atad, dijeron: Llanto grande es éste de los egipcios; por eso fue llamado su nombre Abelmizraim, que está al otro lado del Jordán.(E) Genèse 50:11 Les habitants du pays, les Cananéens, furent témoins de ce deuil dans l'aire d'Athad, et ils dirent: Voilà un grand deuil parmi les Egyptiens! C'est pourquoi l'on a donné le nom d'Abel-Mitsraïm à cette aire qui est au delà du Jourdain.(F) Gen 50:11 Und da die Leute im Lande, die Kanaaniter, die Klage bei der Tenne Atad sahen, sprachen sie: Die Ägypter halten da große Klage. Daher heißt man den Ort: Der Ägypter Klage, welcher liegt jenseit des Jordans.(D) Gen 50:11 καὶ εἶδον οἱ κάτοικοι τῆς γῆς Χανααν τὸ πένθος ἐν ἅλωνι Αταδ καὶ εἶπαν πένθος μέγα τοῦτό ἐστιν τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις διὰ τοῦτο ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Πένθος Αἰγύπτου ὅ ἐστιν πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου(lxx) Gen 50:11 And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, "This is a deep mourning of the Egyptians." had commanded them.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:13 ============ Gen 50:13 for his sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre, which Abraham had bought along with the field for a burial site from Ephron the Hittite.(nasb) Gen 50:13 et portantes eum in terram Chanaan, sepelierunt eum in spelunca duplici, quam emerat Abraham cum agro in possessionem sepulchri ab Ephron Hethæo, contra faciem Mambre.(vulgate) Génesis 50:13 Pues lo llevaron sus hijos a la tierra de Canaán, y le sepultaron en la cueva del campo de Macpela, la que había comprado Abraham con el mismo campo, para heredad de sepultura, de Efrón el heteo, delante de Mamre.(E) Genèse 50:13 Ils le transportèrent au pays de Canaan, et l'enterrèrent dans la caverne du champ de Macpéla, qu'Abraham avait achetée d'Ephron, le Héthien, comme propriété sépulcrale, et qui est vis-à-vis de Mamré.(F) Gen 50:13 und führten ihn ins Land Kanaan und begruben ihn in der zwiefachen Höhle des Ackers, die Abraham erkauft hatte mit dem Acker zum Erbbegräbnis von Ephron, dem Hethiter, gegenüber Mamre.(D) Gen 50:13 καὶ ἀνέλαβον αὐτὸν οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς γῆν Χανααν καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν εἰς cave of the field of Machpelah, before Mamre, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite as property for a burial place.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:14 ============ Gen 50:14 After he had buried his father, Joseph returned to Egypt, he and his brothers, and all who had gone up with him to bury his father.(nasb) Gen 50:14 Reversusque est Joseph in Ægyptum cum fratribus suis, et omni 50:14 Joseph, après avoir enterré son père, retourna en Egypte, avec ses frères et tous ceux qui étaient montés avec lui pour enterrer son père.(F) Gen 50:14 Als sie ihn nun begraben hatten, zog Joseph wieder nach Ägypten mit seinen Brüdern und mit allen, die mit ihm hinaufgezogen waren, seinen Vater zu begraben.(D) Gen 50:14 καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν Ιωσηφ εἰς Αἴγυπτον αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ συναναβάντες θάψαι τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ(lxx) Gen 50:14 And after he had buried his father, Joseph returned to Egypt, he and his brothers and all who went up with him to bury his father.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:15 ============ Gen 50:15 When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, "What if Joseph bears a grudge against us and pays us back in full for all the wrong which we did to him!"(nasb) Gen 50:15 Quo mortuo, timentes fratres ejus, et mutuo colloquentes: Ne forte memor sit injuriæ quam passus est, et reddat nobis omne malum quod fecimus,(vulgate) Génesis 50:15 Y viendo los hermanos de José que su padre era muerto, dijeron: Quizá nos aborrecerá José, y nos dará el pago de todo el mal que le hicimos.(E) Genèse 50:15 Quand les frères de Joseph virent que leur père était mort, ils dirent: Si Joseph nous prenait en haine, et nous rendait tout le mal que nous lui avons fait!(F) Gen 50:15 Die Brüder aber Josephs fürchteten sich, da ihr Vater gestorben war, und sprachen: Joseph möchte uns Gram sein und vergelten alle Bosheit, die wir an ihm getan haben.(D) Gen 50:15 ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ Ιωσηφ ὅτι τέθνηκεν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῶν εἶπαν μήποτε μνησικακήσῃ ἡμῖν Ιωσηφ καὶ ἀνταπόδομα ἀνταποδῷ ἡμῖν πάντα τὰ κακά ἃ ἐνεδειξάμεθα αὐτῷ(lxx) Gen 50:15 When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, "Perhaps Joseph will hate us, and may actually repay us for all the evil which we did to him."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:16 ============ Gen 50:16 So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, "Your father charged before he died, saying,(nasb) Gen 50:16 mandaverunt ei dicentes: Pater tuus præcepit nobis antequam moreretur,(vulgate) Génesis 50:16 Y enviaron a decir a José: Tu padre mandó antes de su muerte, diciendo:(E) Genèse 50:16 Et ils firent dire à Joseph: Ton père a donné cet ordre avant de mourir:(F) Gen 50:16 Darum ließen sie ihm sagen: Dein Vater befahl vor seinem Tod und sprach:(D) Gen 50:16 καὶ παρεγένοντο πρὸς Ιωσηφ λέγοντες ὁ πατήρ σου ὥρκισεν πρὸ τοῦ τελευτῆσαι αὐτὸν λέγων(lxx) Gen 50:16 So they sent messengers to Joseph, saying, "Before your father died he commanded, saying,(nkjv) ======= Genesis 50:17 ============ Gen 50:17 'Thus you shall say to Joseph, "Please forgive, I beg you, the transgression of your brothers and their sin, for they did you wrong."' And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father." And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.(nasb) Gen 50:17 ut hæc tibi verbis illius diceremus: Obsecro ut obliviscaris sceleris fratrum tuorum, et peccati atque malitiæ quam exercuerunt in te: nos quoque oramus ut servis Dei patris tui dimittas iniquitatem hanc. Quibus auditis flevit Joseph.(vulgate) Génesis 50:17 Así diréis a José: Te ruego que perdones ahora la maldad de tus hermanos y su pecado, porque mal te trataron; por tanto, ahora te rogamos que perdones la maldad de los siervos del Dios de tu padre. Y José lloró mientras hablaban.(E) Genèse 50:17 Vous parlerez ainsi à Joseph: Oh! pardonne le crime de tes frères et leur péché, car ils t'ont fait du mal! Pardonne maintenant le péché des serviteurs du Dieu de ton père! Joseph pleura, en entendant ces paroles.(F) Gen 50:17 Also sollt ihr Joseph sagen: Vergib doch deinen Brüdern die Missetat und ihre Sünde, daß sie so übel an dir getan haben. So vergib doch nun diese Missetat uns, den Dienern des Gottes deines Vaters. Aber Joseph weinte, da sie solches mit ihm redeten.(D) Gen 50:17 οὕτως εἴπατε Ιωσηφ ἄφες αὐτοῖς τὴν ἀδικίαν καὶ τὴν ἁμαρτίαν αὐτῶν ὅτι πονηρά σοι ἐνεδείξαντο καὶ νῦν δέξαι τὴν ἀδικίαν τῶν θεραπόντων τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ πατρός σου καὶ ἔκλαυσεν Ιωσηφ λαλούντων αὐτῶν πρὸς αὐτόν(lxx) Gen 50:17 'Thus you shall say to Joseph: "I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you." ' Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father." Et conditus aromatibus, repositus est in loculo in Ægypto.(vulgate) Génesis 50:26 Y murió José de edad de ciento diez años; y lo embalsamaron, y fue puesto en un ataúd en Egipto.(E) Genèse 50:26 Joseph mourut, âgé de cent dix ans.
