And they said to Pharaoh, "Your servants are shepherds, both we and also our fathers."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:4 ============ Gen 47:4 They said to Pharaoh, "We have come to sojourn in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants' flocks, for the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. Now, therefore, please let your servants live in the land of Goshen."(nasb) Gen 47:4 Ad peregrinandum in terra tua venimus: quoniam non est herba gregibus servorum tuorum, ingravescente fame in terra Chanaan: petimusque ut esse nos jubeas servos tuos in terra Gessen.(vulgate) Génesis 47:4 Dijeron además a Faraón: Para morar en esta tierra hemos venido; porque no hay pasto para las ovejas de tus siervos, pues el hambre es grave en la tierra de Canaán: por tanto, te rogamos ahora que habiten tus siervos en la tierra de Gosén.(E) Genèse 47:4 Ils dirent encore à Pharaon: Nous sommes venus pour séjourner dans le pays, parce qu'il n'y a plus de pâturage pour les brebis de tes serviteurs, car la famine s'appesantit sur le pays de Canaan; permets donc à tes serviteurs d'habiter au pays de Gosen.(F) Gen 47:4 und sagten weiter zu Pharao: Wir sind gekommen, bei euch zu wohnen im Lande; denn deine Knechte haben nicht Weide für ihr Vieh, so hart drückt die Teuerung das Land Kanaan; so laß doch nun deine Knechte im Lande Gosen wohnen.(D) Gen 47:4 εἶπαν δὲ τῷ Φαραω παροικεῖν ἐν τῇ γῇ ἥκαμεν οὐ γάρ ἐστιν νομὴ τοῖς κτήνεσιν τῶν παίδων σου ἐνίσχυσεν γὰρ ὁ λιμὸς ἐν γῇ Χανααν νῦν οὖν κατοικήσομεν οἱ παῖδές σου ἐν γῇ Γεσεμ(lxx) Gen 47:4 And they said to Pharaoh, "We have come to dwell in the land, because your servants have no pasture for their flocks, for the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. Now therefore, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:5 ============ Gen 47:5 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Your father and your brothers have come to you.(nasb) Gen 47:5 Dixit itaque rex ad Joseph: Pater tuus et fratres tui venerunt ad te.(vulgate) Génesis 47:5 Entonces Faraón habló a José, diciendo: Tu padre y tus hermanos han venido a ti.(E) Genèse 47:5 Pharaon dit à Joseph: Ton père et tes frères sont venus auprès de toi.(F) Gen 47:5 Pharao sprach zu Joseph: Es ist dein Vater und sind deine Brüder, die sind zu dir gekommen;(D) Gen 47:5 εἶπεν δὲ Φαραω τῷ Ιωσφη κατοικείτωσαν ἐν γῇ Γεσεμ εἰ δὲ ἐπίστῃ ὅτι εἰσὶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἄνδρες δυνατοί κατάστησον αὐτοὺς ἄρχοντας τῶν ἐμῶν κτηνῶν ἦλθον δὲ εἰς Αἴγυπτον πρὸς Ιωσηφ Ιακωβ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἤκουσεν Φαραω βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου καὶ εἶπεν Φαραω πρὸς Ιωσηφ λέγων ὁ πατήρ σου καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοί σου ἥκασι πρὸς σέ(lxx) Gen 47:5 Then Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, saying, "Your father and your brothers have come to you.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:6 ============ Gen 47:6 The land of Egypt is at your disposal; settle your father and your brothers in the best of the land, let them live in the land of Goshen; and if you know any capable men among them, then put them in charge of my livestock."(nasb) Gen 47:6 Terra Ægypti in conspectu tuo est: in optimo loco fac eos habitare, et trade eis terram Gessen. Quod si nosti in eis esse viros industrios, constitue illos magistros pecorum meorum.(vulgate) Génesis 47:6 La tierra de Egipto delante de ti está; en lo mejor de la tierra haz habitar a tu padre y a tus hermanos; habiten en la tierra de Gosén; y si entiendes que hay entre ellos hombres eficaces, ponlos por mayorales del ganado mío.(E) Genèse 47:6 Le pays d'Egypte est devant toi; établis ton père et tes frères dans la meilleure partie du pays. Qu'ils habitent dans le pays de Gosen; et, si tu trouves parmi eux des hommes capables, mets-les à la tête de mes troupeaux.(F) Gen 47:6 das Land Ägypten steht dir offen, laß sie am besten Ort des Landes wohnen, laß sie im Lande Gosen wohnen; und so du weißt, daß Leute unter ihnen sind, die tüchtig sind, so setze sie über mein Vieh.(D) Gen 47:6 ἰδοὺ ἡ γῆ Αἰγύπτου ἐναντίον σού ἐστιν ἐν τῇ βελτίστῃ γῇ κατοίκισον τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφούς σου(lxx) Gen 47:6 The land of Egypt is before you. Have your father and brothers dwell in the best of the land; let them dwell in the land of Goshen. And if you know any competent men among them, then make them chief herdsmen over my livestock."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:7 ============ Gen 47:7 Then Joseph brought his father Jacob and presented him to Pharaoh; and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.(nasb) Gen 47:7 Post hæc introduxit Joseph patrem suum ad regem, et statuit eum coram eo: qui benedicens illi,(vulgate) Génesis 47:7 Y José introdujo a su padre, y lo presentó delante de Faraón; y Jacob bendijo a Faraón.(E) Genèse 47:7 Joseph fit venir Jacob, son père, et le présenta à Pharaon. Und Jakob segnete den Pharao.(D) Gen 47:7 εἰσήγαγεν δὲ Ιωσηφ Ιακωβ τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔστησεν αὐτὸν ἐναντίον Φαραω καὶ εὐλόγησεν Ιακωβ τὸν Φαραω(lxx) Gen 47:7 Then Joseph brought in his father Jacob and set him before Pharaoh; and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:8 ============ Gen 47:8 Pharaoh said to Jacob, "How many years have you lived?"(nasb) Gen 47:8 et interrogatus ab eo: Quot sunt dies annorum vitæ tuæ?(vulgate) Génesis 47:8 Y dijo Faraón a Jacob: ¿Cuántos son los días de los años de tu vida?(E) Genèse 47:8 Pharaon dit à Jacob: Quel est le nombre de jours des années de ta vie?(F) Gen 47:8 Pharao aber fragte Jakob: Wie alt bist du?(D) Gen 47:8 εἶπεν δὲ Φαραω τῷ Ιακωβ πόσα ἔτη ἡμερῶν τῆς ζωῆς σου(lxx) Gen 47:8 Pharaoh said to Jacob, "How old are you?"(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:9 ============ Gen 47:9 So Jacob said to Pharaoh, "The years of my sojourning are one hundred and thirty; few and unpleasant have been the years of my life, nor have they attained the years that my fathers lived during the days of their sojourning."(nasb) Gen 47:9 respondit: Dies peregrinationis meæ centum triginta annorum sunt, parvi et mali, et non pervenerunt usque ad dies patrum meorum quibus peregrinati sunt.(vulgate) Génesis 47:9 Y Jacob respondió a Faraón: Los días de los años de mi peregrinación son ciento treinta años; pocos y malos han sido los días de los años de mi vida, y no han llegado a los días de los años de la vida de mis padres en los días de su peregrinación.(E) Genèse 47:9 Jacob répondit à Pharaon: Les jours des années de mon pèlerinage sont de cent trente ans. Les jours des années de ma vie ont été peu nombreux et mauvais, et ils n'ont point atteint les jours des années de la vie de mes pères durant leur pèlerinage.(F) Gen 47:9 Jakob sprach: Die Zeit meiner Wallfahrt ist hundertdreißig Jahre; wenig und böse ist die Zeit meines Lebens und langt nicht an die Zeit meiner Väter in ihrer Wallfahrt.(D) Gen 47:9 καὶ εἶπεν Ιακωβ τῷ Φαραω αἱ ἡμέραι τῶν ἐτῶν τῆς ζωῆς μου ἃς παροικῶ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη μικραὶ καὶ πονηραὶ γεγόνασιν αἱ ἡμέραι τῶν ἐτῶν τῆς ζωῆς μου οὐκ ἀφίκοντο εἰς τὰς ἡμέρας τῶν ἐτῶν τῆς ζωῆς τῶν πατέρων μου ἃς ἡμέρας παρῴκησαν(lxx) Gen 47:9 And Jacob said to Pharaoh, "The days of the years of my pilgrimage are one hundred and thirty years; for the famine was very severe, so that the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan languished because of the famine.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:14 ============ Gen 47:14 Joseph gathered all the money that was found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan for the grain which they bought, and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.(nasb) Gen 47:14 E quibus omnem pecuniam congregavit pro venditione frumenti, et intulit eam in ærarium regis.(vulgate) Génesis 47:14 Y recogió José todo el dinero que se halló en la tierra de Egipto y en la tierra de Canaán, por los alimentos que de él compraban; und Joseph tat alles Geld in das Haus Pharaos.(D) Gen 47:14 συνήγαγεν δὲ Ιωσηφ πᾶν τὸ ἀργύριον τὸ εὑρεθὲν ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐν γῇ Χανααν τοῦ σίτου οὗ ἠγόραζον καὶ ἐσιτομέτρει αὐτοῖς καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν Ιωσηφ πᾶν τὸ ἀργύριον εἰς τὸν οἶκον Φαραω(lxx) Gen 47:14 And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, for the grain which they bought; and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:15 ============ Gen 47:15 When the money was all spent in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, "Give us food, for why should we die in your presence? Pourquoi mourrions-nous en ta présence? car l'argent manque.(F) Gen 47:15 Da nun Geld gebrach im Lande Ägypten und Kanaan, kamen alle Ägypter zu Joseph und sprachen: Schaffe uns Brot! Warum läßt du uns vor dir sterben, darum daß wir ohne Geld sind?(D) Gen 47:15 καὶ ἐξέλιπεν πᾶν τὸ ἀργύριον ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐκ γῆς Χανααν ἦλθον δὲ πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι πρὸς Ιωσηφ λέγοντες δὸς ἡμῖν ἄρτους καὶ ἵνα τί ἀποθνῄσκομεν ἐναντίον σου ἐκλέλοιπεν γὰρ τὸ ἀργύριον ἡμῶν(lxx) Gen 47:15 So when the money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, "Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For the money has failed."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:16 ============ Gen 47:16 Then Joseph said, "Give up your livestock, and I will give you food for your livestock, since your money is gone."(nasb) Gen 47:16 Quibus ille respondit: Adducite pecora vestra, et dabo vobis pro eis cibos, si pretium non habetis.(vulgate) Génesis 47:16 Y José dijo: Dad vuestros ganados, y yo os daré por vuestros ganados, si se ha acabado el dinero.(E) Genèse 47:16 Joseph dit: Donnez vos troupeaux, et je vous donnerai du pain contre vos troupeaux, si l'argent manque.(F) Gen 47:16 Joseph sprach: Schafft euer Vieh her, so will ich euch um das Vieh geben, weil ihr ohne Geld seid.(D) Gen 47:16 εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς Ιωσηφ φέρετε τὰ κτήνη ὑμῶν καὶ δώσω ὑμῖν ἄρτους ἀντὶ τῶν κτηνῶν ὑμῶν εἰ ἐκλέλοιπεν τὸ ἀργύριον(lxx) Gen 47:16 Then Joseph said, "Give your livestock, and I will give you bread for your livestock, if the money is gone."(nkjv) ======= Genesis 47:17 ============ Gen 47:17 So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them food in exchange for the horses and the flocks and the herds and the donkeys; and he fed them with food in exchange for all their livestock that year.(nasb) Gen 47:17 Quæ cum adduxissent, dedit eis alimenta pro equis, et ovibus, et bobus, et asinis: sustentavitque eos illo anno pro commutatione pecorum.(vulgate) Génesis 47:17 Y ellos trajeron sus ganados a José; y José les dio alimentos por caballos, y por el ganado de las ovejas, y por el ganado de las vacas, y por asnos: y los sustentó de pan por todos sus ganados aquel año.(E) Genèse 47:17 Ils amenèrent leurs troupeaux à Joseph, et Joseph leur donna du pain contre les chevaux, contre les troupeaux de brebis et de boeufs, et contre les ânes. Also ernährte er sie mit Brot das Jahr um all ihr Vieh.(D) Gen 47:17 ἤγαγον δὲ τὰ κτήνη πρὸς Ιωσηφ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοῖς Ιωσηφ ἄρτους ἀντὶ τῶν ἵππων καὶ ἀντὶ τῶν προβάτων καὶ ἀντὶ τῶν βοῶν καὶ ἀντὶ τῶν ὄνων καὶ ἐξέθρεψεν αὐτοὺς ἐν ἄρτοις ἀντὶ πάντων τῶν κτηνῶν αὐτῶν ἐν τῷ ἐνιαυτῷ ἐκείνῳ(lxx) Gen 47:17 So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for the horses, the flocks, the cattle of the herds, and for the donkeys.
