Today's Date: ======= Exodus 18:1 ============ Exo 18:1 Now Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people, how the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.(nasb) Exo 18:1 Cumque audisset Jethro, sacerdos Madian, cognatus Moysi, omnia quæ fecerat Deus Moysi, et Israëli populo suo, et quod eduxisset Dominus Israël de Ægypto,(vulgate) Éxodo 18:1 Y oyó Jetro, sacerdote de Madián, suegro de Moisés, todas las cosas que Dios había hecho con Moisés, y con Israel su pueblo, y cómo Jehová había sacado a Israel de Egipto:(E) Exode 18:1 Jéthro, sacrificateur de Madian, beau-père de Moïse, apprit tout ce que Dieu avait fait en faveur de Moïse et d'Israël, son peuple; il apprit que l'Eternel avait fait sortir Israël d'Egypte.(F) Exo 18:1 Und da Jethro, der Priester in Midian, Mose's Schwiegervater, hörte alles, was Gott getan hatte mit Mose und seinem Volk Israel, daß der HERR Israel hätte aus Ägypten geführt,(D) Exo 18:1 ἤκουσεν δὲ Ιοθορ ὁ ἱερεὺς Μαδιαμ ὁ γαμβρὸς Μωυσῆ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν κύριος Ισραηλ τῷ ἑαυτοῦ λαῷ ἐξήγαγεν γὰρ κύριος τὸν Ισραηλ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου(lxx) Exo 18:1 And Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people--that the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:2 ============ Exo 18:2 Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Moses' wife Zipporah, after he had sent her away,(nasb) Exo 18:2 tulit Sephoram uxorem Moysi quam remiserat,(vulgate) Éxodo 18:2 Y tomó Jetro, suegro de Moisés a Séfora la esposa de Moisés, después que él la envió,(E) Exode 18:2 Jéthro, beau-père de Moïse, prit Séphora, femme de Moïse, qui avait été renvoyée.(F) Exo 18:2 nahm er Zippora, Mose's Weib, die er hatte zurückgesandt,(D) Exo 18:2 ἔλαβεν δὲ Ιοθορ ὁ γαμβρὸς Μωυσῆ Σεπφωραν τὴν γυναῖκα Μωυσῆ μετὰ τὴν ἄφεσιν αὐτῆς(lxx) Exo 18:2 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back,(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:3 ============ Exo 18:3 and her two sons, of whom one was named Gershom, for Moses said, "I have been a sojourner in a foreign land."(nasb) Exo 18:3 et duos filios ejus: quorum unus vocabatur Gersam, dicente patre: Advena fui in terra aliena;(vulgate) Éxodo 18:3 Y a sus dos hijos; el uno se llamaba Gersón, porque dijo: Peregrino he sido en tierra ajena;(E) Exode 18:3 Il prit aussi les deux fils de Séphora; l'un se nommait Guerschom, car Moïse avait dit: J'habite un pays étranger;(F) Exo 18:3 samt ihren zwei Söhnen, deren einer hieß Gerson (denn er sprach: Ich bin ein Gast geworden in fremdem Lande)(D) Exo 18:3 καὶ τοὺς δύο υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ ὄνομα τῷ ἑνὶ αὐτῶν Γηρσαμ λέγων πάροικος ἤμην ἐν γῇ ἀλλοτρίᾳ(lxx) Exo 18:3 with her two sons, of whom the name of one was Gershom (for he said, "I have been a stranger in a foreign land")(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:4 ============ Exo 18:4 The other was named Eliezer, for he said, "The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh."(nasb) Exo 18:4 alter vero Eliezer: Deus enim, ait, patris mei adjutor meus, et eruit me de gladio Pharaonis.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:4 y el otro se llamaba Eliezer, porque dijo: El Dios de mi padre me ayudó, y me libró de la espada de Faraón.(E) Exode 18:4 l'autre se nommait Eliézer, car il avait dit: Le Dieu de mon père m'a secouru, et il m'a délivré de l'épée de Pharaon.(F) Exo 18:4 und der andere Elieser (denn er sprach: Der Gott meines Vaters ist meine Hilfe gewesen und hat mich errettet von dem Schwert Pharaos).(D) Exo 18:4 καὶ τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ δευτέρου Ελιεζερ λέγων ὁ γὰρ θεὸς τοῦ πατρός μου βοηθός μου καὶ ἐξείλατό με ἐκ χειρὸς Φαραω(lxx) Exo 18:4 and the name of the other was Eliezer (for he said, "The God of my father was my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh");(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:5 ============ Exo 18:5 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses in the wilderness where he was camped, at the mount of God.(nasb) Exo 18:5 Venit ergo Jethro cognatus Moysi, et filii ejus, et uxor ejus ad Moysen in desertum, ubi erat castrametatus juxta montem Dei.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:5 Y vino Jetro, suegro de Moisés, con los hijos y la esposa de Moisés al desierto, donde [éste] estaba acampado junto al monte de Dios;(E) Exode 18:5 Jéthro, beau-père de Moïse, avec les fils et la femme de Moïse, vint au désert où il campait, à la montagne de Dieu.(F) Exo 18:5 Da nun Jethro, Mose's Schwiegervater, und seine Söhne und sein Weib zu ihm kamen in die Wüste, an den Berg Gottes, da er sich gelagert hatte,(D) Exo 18:5 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν Ιοθορ ὁ γαμβρὸς Μωυσῆ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ καὶ ἡ γυνὴ πρὸς Μωυσῆν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον οὗ παρενέβαλεν ἐπ᾽ ὄρους τοῦ θεοῦ(lxx) Exo 18:5 and Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses in the wilderness, where he was encamped at the mountain of God.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:6 ============ Exo 18:6 He sent word to Moses, "I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons with her."(nasb) Exo 18:6 Et mandavit Moysi, dicens: Ego Jethro cognatus tuus venio ad te, et uxor tua, et duo filii cum ea.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:6 y dijo a Moisés: Yo tu suegro Jetro vengo a ti, con tu esposa, y sus dos hijos con ella.(E) Exode 18:6 Il fit dire à Moïse: Moi, ton beau-père Jéthro, je viens vers toi, avec ta femme et ses deux fils.(F) Exo 18:6 ließ er Mose sagen: Ich, Jethro, dein Schwiegervater, bin zu dir gekommen und dein Weib und ihre beiden Söhne mit ihr.(D) Exo 18:6 ἀνηγγέλη δὲ Μωυσεῖ λέγοντες ἰδοὺ ὁ γαμβρός σου Ιοθορ παραγίνεται πρὸς σέ καὶ ἡ γυνὴ καὶ οἱ δύο υἱοί σου μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ(lxx) Exo 18:6 Now he had said to Moses, "I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you with your wife and her two sons with her."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:7 ============ Exo 18:7 Then Moses went out to meet his father-in-law, and he bowed down and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare and went into the tent.(nasb) Exo 18:7 Qui egressus in occursum cognati sui, adoravit, et osculatus est eum: salutaveruntque se mutuo verbis pacificis. Cumque intrasset tabernaculum,(vulgate) Éxodo 18:7 Y Moisés salió a recibir a su suegro, y se inclinó, y lo besó; y se preguntaron el uno al otro cómo estaban, y vinieron a la tienda.(E) Exode 18:7 Moïse sortit au-devant de son beau-père, il se prosterna, et il le baisa. Ils s'informèrent réciproquement de leur santé, et ils entrèrent dans la tente de Moïse.(F) Exo 18:7 Da ging Mose hinaus ihm entgegen und neigte sich vor ihm und küßte ihn. Und da sie sich untereinander gegrüßt hatten, gingen sie in die Hütte.(D) Exo 18:7 ἐξῆλθεν δὲ Μωυσῆς εἰς συνάντησιν τῷ γαμβρῷ αὐτοῦ καὶ προσεκύνησεν αὐτῷ καὶ ἐφίλησεν αὐτόν καὶ ἠσπάσαντο ἀλλήλους καὶ εἰσήγαγεν αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν σκηνήν(lxx) Exo 18:7 So Moses went out to meet his father-in-law, bowed down, and kissed him. And they asked each other about their well-being, and they went into the tent.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:8 ============ Exo 18:8 Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardship that had befallen them on the journey, and how the Lord had delivered them.(nasb) Exo 18:8 narravit Moyses cognato suo cuncta quæ fecerat Dominus Pharaoni et Ægyptiis propter Israël: universumque laborem, qui accidisset eis in itinere, et quod liberaverat eos Dominus.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:8 Y Moisés contó a su suegro todas las cosas que Jehová había hecho a Faraón y a los egipcios por amor a Israel, y todos los trabajos que habían pasado en el camino, y cómo los había librado Jehová.(E) Exode 18:8 Moïse raconta à son beau-père tout ce que l'Eternel avait fait à Pharaon et à l'Egypte à cause d'Israël, toutes les souffrances qui leur étaient survenues en chemin, et comment l'Eternel les avait délivrés.(F) Exo 18:8 Da erzählte Mose seinem Schwiegervater alles, was der HERR dem Pharao und den Ägyptern getan hatte Israels halben, und alle die Mühsal, die ihnen auf den Wege begegnet war, und daß sie der HERR errettet hätte.(D) Exo 18:8 καὶ διηγήσατο Μωυσῆς τῷ γαμβρῷ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν κύριος τῷ Φαραω καὶ τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις ἕνεκεν τοῦ Ισραηλ καὶ πάντα τὸν μόχθον τὸν γενόμενον αὐτοῖς ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ καὶ ὅτι ἐξείλατο αὐτοὺς κύριος ἐκ χειρὸς Φαραω καὶ ἐκ χειρὸς τῶν Αἰγυπτίων(lxx) Exo 18:8 And Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, all the hardship that had come upon them on the way, and how the Lord had delivered them.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:9 ============ Exo 18:9 Jethro rejoiced over all the goodness which the Lord had done to Israel, in delivering them from the hand of the Egyptians.(nasb) Exo 18:9 Lætatusque est Jethro super omnibus bonis, quæ fecerat Dominus Israëli, eo quod eruisset eum de manu Ægyptiorum.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:9 Y se alegró Jetro de todo el bien que Jehová había hecho a Israel, que lo había librado de mano de los egipcios.(E) Exode 18:9 Jéthro se réjouit de tout le bien que l'Eternel avait fait à Israël, et de ce qu'il l'avait délivré de la main des Egyptiens.(F) Exo 18:9 Jethro aber freute sich all des Guten, das der HERR Israel getan hatte, daß er sie errettet hatte von der Ägypter Hand.(D) Exo 18:9 ἐξέστη δὲ Ιοθορ ἐπὶ πᾶσι τοῖς ἀγαθοῖς οἷς ἐποίησεν αὐτοῖς κύριος ὅτι ἐξείλατο αὐτοὺς ἐκ χειρὸς Αἰγυπτίων καὶ ἐκ χειρὸς Φαραω(lxx) Exo 18:9 Then Jethro rejoiced for all the good which the Lord had done for Israel, whom He had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:10 ============ Exo 18:10 So Jethro said, "Blessed be the Lord who delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of Pharaoh, and who delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.(nasb) Exo 18:10 Et ait: Benedictus Dominus, qui liberavit vos de manu Ægyptiorum, et de manu Pharaonis; qui eruit populum suum de manu Ægypti.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:10 Y Jetro dijo: Bendito sea Jehová, que os libró de mano de los egipcios, y de la mano de Faraón, y que libró al pueblo de la mano de los egipcios.(E) Exode 18:10 Et Jéthro dit: Béni soit l'Eternel, qui vous a délivrés de la main des Egyptiens et de la main de Pharaon; qui a délivré le peuple de la main des Egyptiens!(F) Exo 18:10 Und Jethro sprach: Gelobt sei der HERR, der euch errettet hat von der Ägypter und Pharaos Hand, der weiß sein Volk von der Ägypter Hand zu erretten.(D) Exo 18:10 καὶ εἶπεν Ιοθορ εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὅτι ἐξείλατο τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ ἐκ χειρὸς Αἰγυπτίων καὶ ἐκ χειρὸς Φαραω(lxx) Exo 18:10 And Jethro said, "Blessed be the Lord, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh, and who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:11 ============ Exo 18:11 Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods; indeed, it was proven when they dealt proudly against the people."(nasb) Exo 18:11 Nunc cognovi, quia magnus Dominus super omnes deos: eo quod superbe egerint contra illos.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:11 Ahora conozco que Jehová es más grande que todos los dioses; pues [aun] en lo que se ensoberbecieron, [Él fue] sobre ellos.(E) Exode 18:11 Je reconnais maintenant que l'Eternel est plus grand que tous les dieux; car la méchanceté des Egyptiens est retombée sur eux.(F) Exo 18:11 Nun weiß ich, daß der HERR größer ist denn alle Götter, darum daß sie Hochmut an ihnen geübt haben.(D) Exo 18:11 νῦν ἔγνων ὅτι μέγας κύριος παρὰ πάντας τοὺς θεούς ἕνεκεν τούτου ὅτι ἐπέθεντο αὐτοῖς(lxx) Exo 18:11 Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:12 ============ Exo 18:12 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God, and Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat a meal with Moses' father-in-law before God.(nasb) Exo 18:12 Obtulit ergo Jethro cognatus Moysi holocausta et hostias Deo: veneruntque Aaron et omnes seniores Israël, ut comederent panem cum eo coram Deo.~(vulgate) Éxodo 18:12 Y tomó Jetro, suegro de Moisés, holocaustos y sacrificios para Dios: y vino Aarón y todos los ancianos de Israel a comer pan con el suegro de Moisés delante de Dios.(E) Exode 18:12 Jéthro, beau-père de Moïse, offrit à Dieu un holocauste et des sacrifices. Aaron et tous les anciens d'Israël vinrent participer au repas avec le beau-père de Moïse, en présence de Dieu.(F) Exo 18:12 Und Jethro, Mose's Schwiegervater, brachte Gott ein Brandopfer mit Dankopfern. Da kamen Aaron und alle Ältesten in Israel, mit Mose's Schwiegervater das Brot zu essen vor Gott.(D) Exo 18:12 καὶ ἔλαβεν Ιοθορ ὁ γαμβρὸς Μωυσῆ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ θυσίας τῷ θεῷ παρεγένετο δὲ Ααρων καὶ πάντες οἱ πρεσβύτεροι Ισραηλ συμφαγεῖν ἄρτον μετὰ τοῦ γαμβροῦ Μωυσῆ ἐναντίον τοῦ θεοῦ(lxx) Exo 18:12 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and other sacrifices to offer to God. And Aaron came with all the elders of Israel to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:13 ============ Exo 18:13 It came about the next day that Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood about Moses from the morning until the evening.(nasb) Exo 18:13 Altera autem die sedit Moyses ut judicaret populum, qui assistebat Moysi a mane usque ad vesperam.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:13 Y aconteció que otro día se sentó Moisés a juzgar al pueblo; y el pueblo estuvo delante de Moisés desde la mañana hasta la tarde.(E) Exode 18:13 Le lendemain, Moïse s'assit pour juger le peuple, et le peuple se tint devant lui depuis le matin jusqu'au soir.(F) Exo 18:13 Des andern Morgens setzte sich Mose, das Volk zu richten; und das Volk stand um Mose her von Morgen an bis zu Abend.(D) Exo 18:13 καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ τὴν ἐπαύριον συνεκάθισεν Μωυσῆς κρίνειν τὸν λαόν παρειστήκει δὲ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς Μωυσεῖ ἀπὸ πρωίθεν ἕως ἑσπέρας(lxx) Exo 18:13 And so it was, on the next day, that Moses sat to judge the people; and the people stood before Moses from morning until evening.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:14 ============ Exo 18:14 Now when Moses' father-in-law saw all that he was doing for the people, he said, "What is this thing that you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit as judge and all the people stand about you from morning until evening?"(nasb) Exo 18:14 Quod cum vidisset cognatus ejus, omnia scilicet quæ agebat in populo, ait: Quid est hoc quod facis in plebe? cur solus sedes, et omnis populus præstolatur de mane usque ad vesperam?(vulgate) Éxodo 18:14 Y viendo el suegro de Moisés todo lo que él hacía con el pueblo, dijo: ¿Qué es esto que haces tú con el pueblo? ¿Por qué te sientas tú solo, y todo el pueblo está delante de ti desde la mañana hasta la tarde?(E) Exode 18:14 Le beau-père de Moïse vit tout ce qu'il faisait pour le peuple, et il dit: Que fais-tu là avec ce peuple? Pourquoi sièges-tu seul, et tout le peuple se tient-il devant toi, depuis le matin jusqu'au soir?(F) Exo 18:14 Da aber sein Schwiegervater sah alles, was er dem Volke tat, sprach er: Was ist's, das du tust mit dem Volk? Warum sitzt du allein, und alles Volk steht um dich her von Morgen an bis zu Abend?(D) Exo 18:14 καὶ ἰδὼν Ιοθορ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίει τῷ λαῷ λέγει τί τοῦτο ὃ σὺ ποιεῖς τῷ λαῷ διὰ τί σὺ κάθησαι μόνος πᾶς δὲ ὁ λαὸς παρέστηκέν σοι ἀπὸ πρωίθεν ἕως δείλης(lxx) Exo 18:14 So when Moses' father-in-law saw all that he did for the people, he said, "What is this thing that you are doing for the people? Why do you alone sit, and all the people stand before you from morning until evening?"(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:15 ============ Exo 18:15 Moses said to his father-in-law, "Because the people come to me to inquire of God.(nasb) Exo 18:15 Cui respondit Moyses: Venit ad me populus quærens sententiam Dei:(vulgate) Éxodo 18:15 Y Moisés respondió a su suegro: Porque el pueblo viene a mí para consultar a Dios:(E) Exode 18:15 Moïse répondit à son beau-père: C'est que le peuple vient à moi pour consulter Dieu.(F) Exo 18:15 Mose antwortete ihm: Das Volk kommt zu mir, Gott um Rat zu fragen.(D) Exo 18:15 καὶ λέγει Μωυσῆς τῷ γαμβρῷ ὅτι παραγίνεται πρός με ὁ λαὸς ἐκζητῆσαι κρίσιν παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ(lxx) Exo 18:15 And Moses said to his father-in-law, "Because the people come to me to inquire of God.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:16 ============ Exo 18:16 When they have a dispute, it comes to me, and I judge between a man and his neighbor and make known the statutes of God and His laws."(nasb) Exo 18:16 cumque acciderit eis aliqua disceptatio, veniunt ad me ut judicem inter eos, et ostendam præcepta Dei, et leges ejus.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:16 Cuando tienen negocios, vienen a mí; y yo juzgo entre el uno y el otro, y declaro las ordenanzas de Dios y sus leyes.(E) Exode 18:16 Quand ils ont quelque affaire, ils viennent à moi; je prononce entre eux, et je fais connaître les ordonnances de Dieu et ses lois.(F) Exo 18:16 Denn wo sie was zu schaffen haben, kommen sie zu mir, daß ich richte zwischen einem jeglichen und seinem Nächsten und zeige ihnen Gottes Rechte und seine Gesetze.(D) Exo 18:16 ὅταν γὰρ γένηται αὐτοῖς ἀντιλογία καὶ ἔλθωσι πρός με διακρίνω ἕκαστον καὶ συμβιβάζω αὐτοὺς τὰ προστάγματα τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τὸν νόμον αὐτοῦ(lxx) Exo 18:16 When they have a difficulty, they come to me, and I judge between one and another; and I make known the statutes of God and His laws."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:17 ============ Exo 18:17 Moses' father-in-law said to him, "The thing that you are doing is not good.(nasb) Exo 18:17 At ille: Non bonam, inquit, rem facis.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:17 Entonces el suegro de Moisés le dijo: No está bien lo que haces.(E) Exode 18:17 Le beau-père de Moïse lui dit: Ce que tu fais n'est pas bien.(F) Exo 18:17 Sein Schwiegervater sprach zu ihm: Es ist nicht gut, was du tust.(D) Exo 18:17 εἶπεν δὲ ὁ γαμβρὸς Μωυσῆ πρὸς αὐτόν οὐκ ὀρθῶς σὺ ποιεῖς τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο(lxx) Exo 18:17 So Moses' father-in-law said to him, "The thing that you do is not good.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:18 ============ Exo 18:18 You will surely wear out, both yourself and these people who are with you, for the task is too heavy for you; you cannot do it alone.(nasb) Exo 18:18 Stulto labore consumeris et tu, et populus iste qui tecum est: ultra vires tuas est negotium; solus illud non poteris sustinere.(vulgate) Éxodo 18:18 Desfallecerás del todo, tú, y también este pueblo que está contigo; porque el asunto es demasiado pesado para ti; no podrás hacerlo tú solo.(E) Exode 18:18 Tu t'épuiseras toi-même, et tu épuiseras ce peuple qui est avec toi; car la chose est au-dessus de tes forces, tu ne pourras pas y suffire seul.(F) Exo 18:18 Du machst dich zu müde, dazu das Volk auch, das mit dir ist. Das Geschäft ist dir zu schwer; du kannst's allein nicht ausrichten.(D) Exo 18:18 φθορᾷ καταφθαρήσῃ ἀνυπομονήτῳ καὶ σὺ καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς οὗτος ὅς ἐστιν μετὰ σοῦ βαρύ σοι τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο οὐ δυνήσῃ ποιεῖν μόνος(lxx) Exo 18:18 Both you and these people who are with you will surely wear yourselves out. For this thing is too much for you; you are not able to perform it by yourself.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 18:19 ============ Exo 18:19 Now listen to me: I will give you counsel, and God be with you. You be the people's representative before God, and you bring the disputes to God,(nasb) Exo 18:19 Sed audi verba mea atque consilia, et erit Deus tecum. So wird dir's leichter werden, und sie werden mit dir tragen.(D) Exo 18:22 καὶ κρινοῦσιν τὸν λαὸν πᾶσαν ὥραν τὸ δὲ ῥῆμα τὸ ὑπέρογκον ἀνοίσουσιν ἐπὶ σέ τὰ δὲ βραχέα τῶν κριμάτων κρινοῦσιν αὐτοὶ καὶ κουφιοῦσιν ἀπὸ σοῦ καὶ συναντιλήμψονταί σοι(lxx) Exo 18:22 And let them judge the people at all times.
