But he did not tell his father.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 14:2 ============ 1Sa 14:2 Saul was staying in the outskirts of Gibeah under the pomegranate tree which is in Migron. Peut-être l'Eternel agira-t-il pour nous, car rien n'empêche l'Eternel de sauver au moyen d'un petit nombre comme d'un grand nombre.(F) 1Sa 14:6 Und Jonathan sprach zu seinem Waffenträger: Komm, laß uns hinübergehen zu der Wache der Unbeschnittenen! Vielleicht wird der HERR etwas durch uns ausrichten; denn es ist dem HERRN nicht schwer, durch viel oder wenig zu helfen.(D) 1Sa 14:6 καὶ εἶπεν Ιωναθαν πρὸς τὸ παιδάριον τὸ αἶρον τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ δεῦρο διαβῶμεν εἰς μεσσαβ τῶν ἀπεριτμήτων τούτων εἴ τι ποιήσαι ἡμῖν κύριος ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν τῷ κυρίῳ συνεχόμενον σῴζειν ἐν πολλοῖς ἢ ἐν ὀλίγοις(lxx) 1Sa 14:6 Then Jonathan said to the young man who bore his armor, "Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the Lord will work for us. Go then; here I am with you, according to your heart."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 14:8 ============ 1Sa 14:8 Then Jonathan said, "Behold, we will cross over to the men and reveal ourselves to them.(nasb) 1Sa 14:8 Et ait Jonathas: Ecce nos transimus ad viros istos. Wenn wir hinüberkommen zu den Leuten und ihnen ins Gesicht kommen,(D) 1Sa 14:8 καὶ εἶπεν Ιωναθαν ἰδοὺ ἡμεῖς διαβαίνομεν πρὸς τοὺς ἄνδρας καὶ κατακυλισθησόμεθα πρὸς αὐτούς(lxx) 1Sa 14:8 Then Jonathan said, "Very well, let us cross over to these men, and we will show ourselves to them.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 14:9 ============ 1Sa 14:9 If they say to us, 'Wait until we come to you'; then we will stand in our place and not go up to them.(nasb) 1Sa 14:9 si taliter locuti fuerint ad nos: Manete donec veniamus ad vos: stemus in loco nostro, nec ascendamus ad eos.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 14:9 Si nos dijeren así: Esperad hasta que lleguemos a vosotros; entonces nos estaremos en nuestro lugar, y no subiremos a ellos.(E) 1 Samuel 14:9 S'ils nous disent: Arrêtez, jusqu'à ce que nous venions à vous! nous resterons en place, et nous ne monterons point vers eux.(F) 1Sa 14:9 werden sie dann sagen: Steht still, bis wir zu euch gelangen! so wollen wir an unserm Ort stehenbleiben und nicht zu ihnen hinaufgehen.(D) 1Sa 14:9 ἐὰν τάδε εἴπωσιν πρὸς ἡμᾶς ἀπόστητε ἐκεῖ ἕως ἂν ἀπαγγείλωμεν ὑμῖν καὶ στησόμεθα ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτοῖς καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀναβῶμεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς(lxx) 1Sa 14:9 If they say thus to us, 'Wait until we come to you,' then we will stand still in our place and not go up to them.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 14:10 ============ 1Sa 14:10 But if they say, 'Come up to us,' then we will go up, for the Lord has given them into our hands; and this shall be the sign to us."(nasb) 1Sa 14:10 Si autem dixerint: Ascendite ad nos: ascendamus, quia tradidit eos Dominus in manibus nostris: hoc erit nobis signum.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 14:10 Mas si nos dijeren así: Subid a nosotros: entonces subiremos, porque Jehová los ha entregado en nuestras manos; y esto nos [será] por señal.(E) 1 Samuel 14:10 Mais s'ils disent: Montez vers nous! nous monterons, car l'Eternel les livre entre nos mains. And the Philistines said, "Look, the Hebrews are coming out of the holes where they have hidden."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 14:12 ============ 1Sa 14:12 So the men of the garrison hailed Jonathan and his armor bearer and said, "Come up to us and we will tell you something." And Jonathan said to his armor bearer, "Come up after me, for the Lord has given them into the hands of Israel."(nasb) 1Sa 14:12 Et locuti sunt viri de statione ad Jonathan et ad armigerum ejus, dixeruntque: Ascendite ad nos, et ostendemus vobis rem. Da sprach Jonathan zu seinem Waffenträger: Steig mir nach! der HERR hat sie gegeben in die Hände Israels.(D) 1Sa 14:12 καὶ ἀπεκρίθησαν οἱ ἄνδρες μεσσαβ πρὸς Ιωναθαν καὶ πρὸς τὸν αἴροντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ καὶ λέγουσιν ἀνάβητε πρὸς ἡμᾶς καὶ γνωριοῦμεν ὑμῖν ῥῆμα καὶ εἶπεν Ιωναθαν πρὸς τὸν αἴροντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ἀνάβηθι ὀπίσω μου ὅτι παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς κύριος εἰς χεῖρας Ισραηλ(lxx) 1Sa 14:12 Then the men of the garrison called to Jonathan and his armorbearer, and said, "Come up to us, and we will show you something." Jonathan said to his armorbearer, "Come up after me, for the Lord has delivered them into the hand of Israel."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 14:13 ============ 1Sa 14:13 Then Jonathan climbed up on his hands and feet, with his armor bearer behind him; and they fell before Jonathan, and his armor bearer put some to death after him.(nasb) 1Sa 14:13 Ascendit autem Jonathas manibus et pedibus reptans, et armiger ejus post eum. Da fielen sie vor Jonathan darnieder, und sein Waffenträger würgte ihm immer nach,(D) 1Sa 14:13 καὶ ἀνέβη Ιωναθαν ἐπὶ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ αἴρων τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπέβλεψαν κατὰ πρόσωπον Ιωναθαν καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτούς καὶ ὁ αἴρων τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ἐπεδίδου ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ(lxx) 1Sa 14:13 And Jonathan climbed up on his hands and knees with his armorbearer after him; and they fell before Jonathan. And as he came after him, his armorbearer killed them.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 14:14 ============ 1Sa 14:14 That first slaughter which Jonathan and his armor bearer made was about twenty men within about half a furrow in an acre of land.(nasb) 1Sa 14:14 Et facta est plaga prima qua percussit Jonathas et armiger ejus, quasi viginti virorum in media parte jugeri quam par boum in die arare consuevit.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 14:14 Ésta fue la primera matanza, en la cual Jonatán con su paje de armas, mataron como unos veinte hombres en el espacio de una media yugada de tierra.(E) 1 Samuel 14:14 Dans cette première défaite, Jonathan et celui qui portait ses armes tuèrent une vingtaine d'hommes, sur l'espace d'environ la moitié d'un arpent de terre.(F) 1Sa 14:14 also daß derer, die Jonathan und sein Waffenträger zuerst erschlug, waren bei zwanzig Mann, beinahe auf einer halben Hufe Acker, die ein Joch pflügt.(D) 1Sa 14:14 καὶ ἐγενήθη ἡ πληγὴ ἡ πρώτη ἣν ἐπάταξεν Ιωναθαν καὶ ὁ αἴρων τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ὡς εἴκοσι ἄνδρες ἐν βολίσι καὶ ἐν πετροβόλοις καὶ ἐν κόχλαξιν τοῦ πεδίου(lxx) 1Sa 14:14 That first slaughter which Jonathan and his armorbearer made was about twenty men within about half an acre of land.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 14:15 ============ 1Sa 14:15 And there was a trembling in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. Even the garrison and the raiders trembled, and the earth quaked so that it became a great trembling.(nasb) 1Sa 14:15 Et factum est miraculum in castris per agros: sed et omnis populus stationis eorum qui ierant ad prædandum, obstupuit, et conturbata est terra: et accidit quasi miraculum a Deo.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 14:15 Y hubo temblor en el campamento y por el campo, y entre toda la gente de la guarnición; y los que habían ido a hacer correrías, también ellos temblaron, y la tierra tembló; hubo, pues, gran consternación.(E) 1 Samuel 14:15 L'effroi se répandit au camp, dans la contrée et parmi tout le peuple; le poste et ceux qui ravageaient furent également saisis de peur; le pays fut dans l'épouvante. And Jonathan told him, and said, "I only tasted a little honey with the end of the rod that was in my hand. Far from it! As the Lord lives, not one hair of his head shall fall to the ground, for he has worked with God this day."
