Then, if there is no one to deliver us, we will come out to you."(nasb) 1Sa 11:3 Et dixerunt ad eum seniores Jabes: Concede nobis septem dies, ut mittamus nuntios ad universos terminos Israël, et si non fuerit qui defendat nos, egrediemur ad te.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 11:3 Entonces los ancianos de Jabes le dijeron: Danos tregua de siete días, para que enviemos mensajeros a todos los términos de Israel; y si no hay quién nos defienda, saldremos a ti.(E) 1 Samuel 11:3 Les anciens de Jabès lui dirent: Accorde-nous une trêve de sept jours, afin que nous envoyions des messagers dans tout le territoire d'Israël; et s'il n'y a personne qui nous secoure, nous nous rendrons à toi.(F) 1Sa 11:3 Da sprachen zu ihm die Ältesten zu Jabes: Gib uns sieben Tage, daß wir Boten senden in alles Gebiet Israels; ist dann niemand, der uns rette, so wollen wir zu dir hinausgehen.(D) 1Sa 11:3 καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ οἱ ἄνδρες Ιαβις ἄνες ἡμῖν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ ἀποστελοῦμεν ἀγγέλους εἰς πᾶν ὅριον Ισραηλ ἐὰν μὴ ᾖ ὁ σῴζων ἡμᾶς ἐξελευσόμεθα πρὸς ὑμᾶς(lxx) 1Sa 11:3 Then the elders of Jabesh said to him, "Hold off for seven days, that we may send messengers to all the territory of Israel. And then, if there is no one to save us, we will come out to you."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 11:4 ============ 1Sa 11:4 Then the messengers came to Gibeah of Saul and spoke these words in the hearing of the people, and all the people lifted up their voices and wept.(nasb) 1Sa 11:4 Venerunt ergo nuntii in Gabaa Saulis: et locuti sunt verba hæc, audiente populo: et levavit omnis populus vocem suam, et flevit.~(vulgate) 1 Samuel 11:4 Y llegando los mensajeros a Gabaa de Saúl, dijeron estas palabras en oídos del pueblo; y todo el pueblo lloró a voz en grito.(E) 1 Samuel 11:4 Les messagers arrivèrent à Guibea de Saül, et dirent ces choses aux oreilles du peuple. And all the people lifted up their voices and wept.(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 11:5 ============ 1Sa 11:5 Now behold, Saul was coming from the field behind the oxen, and he said, "What is the matter with the people that they weep?" So they related to him the words of the men of Jabesh.(nasb) 1Sa 11:5 Et ecce Saul veniebat, sequens boves de agro, et ait: Quid habet populus quod plorat? Then the dread of the Lord fell on the people, and they came out as one man.(nasb) 1Sa 11:7 Et assumens utrumque bovem, concidit in frustra, misitque in omnes terminos Israël per manum nuntiorum, dicens: Quicumque non exierit, et secutus fuerit Saul et Samuel, sic fiet bobus ejus. Invasit ergo timor Domini populum, et egressi sunt quasi vir unus.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 11:7 Y tomando un par de bueyes, los cortó en pedazos, y [los] envió por todos los términos de Israel por mano de mensajeros, diciendo: Cualquiera que no saliere en pos de Saúl y en pos de Samuel, así será hecho a sus bueyes. Y cayó temor de Jehová sobre el pueblo, y salieron como un solo hombre.(E) 1 Samuel 11:7 Il prit une paire de boeufs, et les coupa en morceaux, qu'il envoya par les messagers dans tout le territoire d'Israël, en disant: Quiconque ne marchera pas à la suite de Saül et de Samuel, aura ses boeufs traités de la même manière. La terreur de l'Eternel s'empara du peuple, qui se mit en marche comme un seul homme.(F) 1Sa 11:7 und er nahm ein paar Ochsen und zerstückte sie und sandte in alles Gebiet Israels durch die Boten und ließ sagen: Wer nicht auszieht, Saul und Samuel nach, des Rinder soll man also tun. Da fiel die Furcht des HERRN auf das Volk, daß sie auszogen wie ein Mann.(D) 1Sa 11:7 καὶ ἔλαβεν δύο βόας καὶ ἐμέλισεν αὐτὰς καὶ ἀπέστειλεν εἰς πᾶν ὅριον Ισραηλ ἐν χειρὶ ἀγγέλων λέγων ὃς οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκπορευόμενος ὀπίσω Σαουλ καὶ ὀπίσω Σαμουηλ κατὰ τάδε ποιήσουσιν τοῖς βουσὶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπῆλθεν ἔκστασις κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν Ισραηλ καὶ ἐβόησαν ὡς ἀνὴρ εἷς(lxx) 1Sa 11:7 So he took a yoke of oxen and cut them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the territory of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying, "Whoever does not go out with Saul and Samuel to battle, so it shall be done to his oxen." So the messengers went and told the men of Jabesh; and they were glad.(nasb) 1Sa 11:9 Et dixerunt nuntiis qui venerant: Sic dicetis viris qui sunt in Jabes Galaad: Cras erit vobis salus, cum incaluerit sol. Y vinieron los mensajeros, y [lo] declararon a los de Jabes, los cuales se alegraron.(E) 1 Samuel 11:9 Ils dirent aux messagers qui étaient venus: Vous parlerez ainsi aux habitants de Jabès en Galaad: Demain vous aurez du secours, quand le soleil sera dans sa chaleur. Les messagers portèrent cette nouvelle à ceux de Jabès, qui furent remplis de joie;(F) 1Sa 11:9 Und sie sagten den Boten, die gekommen waren: Also sagt den Männern zu Jabes in Gilead: Morgen soll euch Hilfe geschehen, wenn die Sonne beginnt heiß zu scheinen. Bring the men, that we may put them to death."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 11:13 ============ 1Sa 11:13 But Saul said, "Not a man shall be put to death this day, for today the Lord has accomplished deliverance in Israel."(nasb) 1Sa 11:13 Et ait Saul: Non occidetur quisquam in die hac, quia hodie fecit Dominus salutem in Israël.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 11:13 Y Saúl dijo: No morirá hoy ninguno, porque Jehová ha dado hoy salvación en Israel.(E) 1 Samuel 11:13 Mais Saül dit: Personne ne sera mis à mort en ce jour, car aujourd'hui l'Eternel a opéré une délivrance en Israël.(F) 1Sa 11:13 Saul aber sprach: Es soll auf diesen Tag niemand sterben; denn der HERR hat heute sein Heil gegeben in Israel.(D) 1Sa 11:13 καὶ εἶπεν Σαουλ οὐκ ἀποθανεῖται οὐδεὶς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ὅτι σήμερον κύριος ἐποίησεν σωτηρίαν ἐν Ισραηλ(lxx) 1Sa 11:13 But Saul said, "Not a man shall be put to death this day, for today the Lord has accomplished salvation in Israel."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 11:14 ============ 1Sa 11:14 Then Samuel said to the people, "Come and let us go to Gilgal and renew the kingdom there."(nasb) 1Sa 11:14 Dixit autem Samuel ad populum: Venite, et eamus in Galgala, et innovemus ibi regnum.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 11:14 Mas Samuel dijo al pueblo: Venid, vamos a Gilgal para que renovemos allí el reino.(E) 1 Samuel 11:14 Et Samuel dit au peuple: Venez, et allons à Guilgal, pour y confirmer la royauté.(F) 1Sa 11:14 Samuel sprach zum Volk: Kommt, laßt uns gen Gilgal gehen und das Königreich daselbst erneuen.(D) 1Sa 11:14 καὶ εἶπεν Σαμουηλ πρὸς τὸν λαὸν λέγων πορευθῶμεν εἰς Γαλγαλα καὶ ἐγκαινίσωμεν ἐκεῖ τὴν βασιλείαν(lxx) 1Sa 11:14 Then Samuel said to the people, "Come, let us go to Gilgal and renew the kingdom there."(nkjv) ======= 1 Samuel 11:15 ============ 1Sa 11:15 So all the people went to Gilgal, and there they made Saul king before the Lord in Gilgal. There they also offered sacrifices of peace offerings before the Lord; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly.(nasb) 1Sa 11:15 Et perrexit omnis populus in Galgala, et fecerunt ibi regem Saul coram Domino in Galgala, et immolaverunt ibi victimas pacificas coram Domino. Et lætatus est ibi Saul, et cuncti viri Israël nimis.(vulgate) 1 Samuel 11:15 Y fue todo el pueblo a Gilgal, e invistieron allí a Saúl por rey delante de Jehová en Gilgal. Y sacrificaron allí ofrendas de paz delante de Jehová; y se alegraron mucho allí Saúl y todos los de Israel.(E) 1 Samuel 11:15 Tout le peuple se rendit à Guilgal, et ils établirent Saül pour roi, devant l'Eternel, à Guilgal. Und Saul samt allen Männern Israels freuten sich daselbst gar sehr.(D) 1Sa 11:15 καὶ ἐπορεύθη πᾶς ὁ λαὸς εἰς Γαλγαλα καὶ ἔχρισεν Σαμουηλ ἐκεῖ τὸν Σαουλ εἰς βασιλέα ἐνώπιον κυρίου ἐν Γαλγαλοις καὶ ἔθυσεν ἐκεῖ θυσίας καὶ εἰρηνικὰς ἐνώπιον κυρίου καὶ εὐφράνθη Σαμουηλ καὶ πᾶς Ισραηλ ὥστε λίαν(lxx) 1Sa 11:15 So all the people went to Gilgal, and there they made Saul king before the Lord in Gilgal.
