The priests and the Levites brought them up.(nkjv) ======= 1 Kings 8:5 ============ 1Ki 8:5 And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who were assembled to him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and oxen they could not be counted or numbered.(nasb) 1Ki 8:5 Rex autem Salomon, et omnis multitudo Israël quæ convenerat ad eum, gradiebatur cum illo ante arcam, et immolabant oves et boves absque æstimatione et numero.(vulgate) 1 Reyes 8:5 Y el rey Salomón, y toda la congregación de Israel que se había reunido con él, [estaban] con él delante del arca, sacrificando ovejas y bueyes, que por la multitud no se podían contar ni numerar.(E) 1 Rois 8:5 Le roi Salomon et toute l'assemblée d'Israël convoquée auprès de lui se tinrent devant l'arche. Elles ont été là jusqu'à ce jour.(F) 1Ki 8:8 Und die Stangen waren so lang, daß ihre Knäufe gesehen wurden in dem Heiligtum vor dem Chor, aber außen wurden sie nicht gesehen, und waren daselbst bis auf diesen Tag.(D) 1Ki 8:8 καὶ ὑπερεῖχον τὰ ἡγιασμένα καὶ ἐνεβλέποντο αἱ κεφαλαὶ τῶν ἡγιασμένων ἐκ τῶν ἁγίων εἰς πρόσωπον τοῦ δαβιρ καὶ οὐκ ὠπτάνοντο ἔξω(lxx) 1Ki 8:8 The poles extended so that the ends of the poles could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day.(nkjv) ======= 1 Kings 8:9 ============ 1Ki 8:9 There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the sons of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.(nasb) 1Ki 8:9 In arca autem non erat aliud nisi duæ tabulæ lapideæ quas posuerat in ea Moyses in Horeb, quando pepigit Dominus fœdus cum filiis Israël, cum egrederentur de terra Ægypti.(vulgate) 1 Reyes 8:9 Ninguna cosa [había] en el arca, salvo las dos tablas de piedra que allí había puesto Moisés en Horeb, donde Jehová hizo [pacto] con los hijos de Israel, cuando salieron de la tierra de Egipto.(E) 1 Rois 8:9 Il n'y avait dans l'arche que les deux tables de pierre, que Moïse y déposa en Horeb, lorsque l'Eternel fit alliance avec les enfants d'Israël, à leur sortie du pays d'Egypte.(F) 1Ki 8:9 Und war nichts in der Lade denn nur die zwei steinernen Tafeln Mose's, die er hineingelegt hatte am Horeb, da der HERR mit den Kindern Israel einen Bund machte, da sie aus Ägyptenland gezogen waren.(D) 1Ki 8:9 οὐκ ἦν ἐν τῇ κιβωτῷ πλὴν δύο πλάκες λίθιναι πλάκες τῆς διαθήκης ἃς ἔθηκεν ἐκεῖ Μωυσῆς ἐν Χωρηβ ἃ διέθετο κύριος μετὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ἐκπορεύεσθαι αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου(lxx) 1Ki 8:9 Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.(nkjv) ======= 1 Kings 8:10 ============ 1Ki 8:10 It happened that when the priests came from the holy place, the cloud filled the house of the Lord,(nasb) 1Ki 8:10 Factum est autem cum exissent sacerdotes de sanctuario, nebula implevit domum Domini,(vulgate) 1 Reyes 8:10 Y aconteció que cuando los sacerdotes salieron del santuario, la nube llenó la casa de Jehová.(E) 1 Rois 8:10 Au moment où les sacrificateurs sortirent du lieu saint, la nuée remplit la maison de l'Eternel.(F) 1Ki 8:10 Da aber die Priester aus dem Heiligtum gingen, erfüllte die Wolke das Haus des HERRN,(D) 1Ki 8:10 καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἐξῆλθον οἱ ἱερεῖς ἐκ τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ ἡ νεφέλη ἔπλησεν τὸν οἶκον(lxx) 1Ki 8:10 And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord,(nkjv) ======= 1 Kings 8:11 ============ 1Ki 8:11 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.(nasb) 1Ki 8:11 et non poterant sacerdotes stare et ministrare propter nebulam: impleverat enim gloria Domini domum Domini.(vulgate) 1 Reyes 8:11 Y los sacerdotes no pudieron quedarse a ministrar por causa de la nube; denn die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllte das Haus des HERRN.(D) 1Ki 8:11 καὶ οὐκ ἠδύναντο οἱ ἱερεῖς στῆναι λειτουργεῖν ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς νεφέλης ὅτι ἔπλησεν δόξα κυρίου τὸν οἶκον(lxx) 1Ki 8:11 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud;
