Today's Date: ======= 2 Kings 20:1 ============ 2Ki 20:1 In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him and said to him, "Thus says the Lord, 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.'"(nasb) 2Ki 20:1 In diebus illis ægrotavit Ezechias usque ad mortem: et venit ad eum Isaias filius Amos propheta, dixitque ei: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Præcipe domui tuæ: morieris enim tu, et non vives.(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:1 En aquellos días Ezequías cayó enfermo de muerte, y vino a él el profeta Isaías, hijo de Amoz, y le dijo: Así dice Jehová: Pon tu casa en orden, porque morirás, y no vivirás.(E) 2 Rois 20:1 En ce temps-là, Ezéchias fut malade à la mort. Le prophète Esaïe, fils d'Amots, vint auprès de lui, et lui dit: Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Donne tes ordres à ta maison, car tu vas mourir, et tu ne vivras plus.(F) 2Ki 20:1 Zu der Zeit ward Hiskia todkrank. Und der Prophet Jesaja, der Sohn des Amoz, kam zu ihm und sprach zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Beschicke dein Haus; denn du wirst sterben und nicht leben bleiben!(D) 2Ki 20:1 ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις ἠρρώστησεν Εζεκιας εἰς θάνατον καὶ εἰσῆλθεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Ησαιας υἱὸς Αμως ὁ προφήτης καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἔντειλαι τῷ οἴκῳ σου ὅτι ἀποθνῄσκεις σὺ καὶ οὐ ζήσῃ(lxx) 2Ki 20:1 In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, "Thus says the Lord: 'Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.' And Hezekiah wept bitterly.(nasb) 2Ki 20:3 Obsecro, Domine: memento, quæso, quomodo ambulaverim coram te in veritate, et in corde perfecto, et quod placitum est coram te fecerim. Flevit itaque Ezechias fletu magno.(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:3 Te ruego, oh Jehová, te ruego hagas memoria de que he andado delante de ti en verdad y con íntegro corazón, y que he hecho [las cosas] que te agradan. Y lloró Ezequías con gran lloro.(E) 2 Rois 20:3 O Eternel! souviens-toi que j'ai marché devant ta face avec fidélité et intégrité de coeur, et que j'ai fait ce qui est bien à tes yeux! Et Ezéchias répandit d'abondantes larmes.(F) 2Ki 20:3 Ach, HERR, gedenke doch, daß ich vor dir treulich gewandelt habe und mit rechtschaffenem Herzen und habe getan, was dir wohl gefällt. Und Hiskia weinte sehr.(D) 2Ki 20:3 ὦ δή κύριε μνήσθητι δὴ ὅσα περιεπάτησα ἐνώπιόν σου ἐν ἀληθείᾳ καὶ ἐν καρδίᾳ πλήρει καὶ τὸ ἀγαθὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς σου ἐποίησα καὶ ἔκλαυσεν Εζεκιας κλαυθμῷ μεγάλῳ(lxx) 2Ki 20:3 "Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:4 ============ 2Ki 20:4 Before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him, saying,(nasb) 2Ki 20:4 Et antequam egrederetur Isaias mediam partem atrii, factus est sermo Domini ad eum, dicens:(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:4 Y aconteció que antes que Isaías saliese hasta la mitad del patio, vino palabra de Jehová a Isaías, diciendo:(E) 2 Rois 20:4 Esaïe, qui était sorti, n'était pas encore dans la cour du milieu, lorsque la parole de l'Eternel lui fut adressée en ces termes:(F) 2Ki 20:4 Da aber Jesaja noch nicht zur Stadt halb hinausgegangen war, kam des HERRN Wort zu ihm und sprach:(D) 2Ki 20:4 καὶ ἦν Ησαιας ἐν τῇ αὐλῇ τῇ μέσῃ καὶ ῥῆμα κυρίου ἐγένετο πρὸς αὐτὸν λέγων(lxx) 2Ki 20:4 And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying,(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:5 ============ 2Ki 20:5 "Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of your father David, "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.(nasb) 2Ki 20:5 Revertere, et dic Ezechiæ duci populi mei: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus David patris tui: Audivi orationem tuam, et vidi lacrimas tuas, et ecce sanavi te: die tertio ascendes templum Domini.(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:5 Vuelve, y di a Ezequías, príncipe de mi pueblo: Así dice Jehová, el Dios de David tu padre: Yo he oído tu oración, y he visto tus lágrimas; he aquí yo te sano; al tercer día subirás a la casa de Jehová.(E) 2 Rois 20:5 Retourne, et dis à Ezéchias, chef de mon peuple: Ainsi parle l'Eternel, le Dieu de David, ton père: J'ai entendu ta prière, j'ai vu tes larmes. Voici, je te guérirai; le troisième jour, tu monteras à la maison de l'Eternel.(F) 2Ki 20:5 Kehre um und sage Hiskia, dem Fürsten meines Volkes: So spricht der HERR, der Gott deines Vaters David: Ich habe dein Gebet gehört und deine Tränen gesehen. Siehe, ich will dich gesund machen, am dritten Tage wirst du hinauf in das Haus des HERRN gehen,(D) 2Ki 20:5 ἐπίστρεψον καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς Εζεκιαν τὸν ἡγούμενον τοῦ λαοῦ μου τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς Δαυιδ τοῦ πατρός σου ἤκουσα τῆς προσευχῆς σου εἶδον τὰ δάκρυά σου ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἰάσομαί σε τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ ἀναβήσῃ εἰς οἶκον κυρίου(lxx) 2Ki 20:5 "Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:6 ============ 2Ki 20:6 I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake and for My servant David's sake."'"(nasb) 2Ki 20:6 Et addam diebus tuis quindecim annos: sed et de manu regis Assyriorum liberabo te, et civitatem hanc: et protegam urbem istam propter me, et propter David servum meum.(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:6 Y añadiré a tus días quince años, y te libraré a ti y a esta ciudad de mano del rey de Asiria; y ampararé esta ciudad por amor a mí mismo, y por amor a David mi siervo.(E) 2 Rois 20:6 J'ajouterai à tes jours quinze années. Je te délivrerai, toi et cette ville, de la main du roi d'Assyrie; je protégerai cette ville, à cause de moi, et à cause de David, mon serviteur.(F) 2Ki 20:6 und ich will fünfzehn Jahre zu deinem Leben tun und dich und diese Stadt erretten von dem König von Assyrien und diese Stadt beschirmen um meinetwillen und um meines Knechtes David willen.(D) 2Ki 20:6 καὶ προσθήσω ἐπὶ τὰς ἡμέρας σου πέντε καὶ δέκα ἔτη καὶ ἐκ χειρὸς βασιλέως Ἀσσυρίων σώσω σε καὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην καὶ ὑπερασπιῶ ὑπὲρ τῆς πόλεως ταύτης δι᾽ ἐμὲ καὶ διὰ Δαυιδ τὸν δοῦλόν μου(lxx) 2Ki 20:6 And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David." ' "(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:7 ============ 2Ki 20:7 Then Isaiah said, "Take a cake of figs." And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.(nasb) 2Ki 20:7 Dixitque Isaias: Afferte massam ficorum. Quam cum attulissent, et posuissent super ulcus ejus, curatus est.(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:7 Y dijo Isaías: Tomad masa de higos. So they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:8 ============ 2Ki 20:8 Now Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "What will be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the Lord the third day?"(nasb) 2Ki 20:8 Dixerat autem Ezechias ad Isaiam: Quod erit signum, quia Dominus me sanabit, et quia ascensurus sum die tertia templum Domini?(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:8 Y Ezequías había dicho a Isaías: ¿Qué señal [tendré] de que Jehová me sanará, y de que subiré a la casa de Jehová al tercer día?(E) 2 Rois 20:8 Ezéchias avait dit à Esaïe: A quel signe connaîtrai-je que l'Eternel me guérira, et que je monterai le troisième jour à la maison de l'Eternel?(F) 2Ki 20:8 Hiskia aber sprach zu Jesaja: Welches ist das Zeichen, daß mich der HERR wird gesund machen und ich in des HERRN Haus hinaufgehen werde am dritten Tage?(D) 2Ki 20:8 καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας πρὸς Ησαιαν τί τὸ σημεῖον ὅτι ἰάσεταί με κύριος καὶ ἀναβήσομαι εἰς οἶκον κυρίου τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ(lxx) 2Ki 20:8 And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "What is the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the Lord the third day?"(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:9 ============ 2Ki 20:9 Isaiah said, "This shall be the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps or go back ten steps?"(nasb) 2Ki 20:9 Cui ait Isaias: Hoc erit signum a Domino quod facturus sit Dominus sermonem quem locutus est: vis ut ascendat umbra decem lineis, an ut revertatur totidem gradibus?(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:9 Y respondió Isaías: Esta señal tendrás de Jehová, de que Jehová hará esto que ha dicho: ¿Avanzará la sombra diez grados, o retrocederá diez grados?(E) 2 Rois 20:9 Et Esaïe dit: Voici, de la part de l'Eternel, le signe auquel tu connaîtras que l'Eternel accomplira la parole qu'il a prononcée: L'ombre avancera-t-elle de dix degrés, ou reculera-t-elle de dix degrés?(F) 2Ki 20:9 Jesaja sprach: Das Zeichen wirst du haben vom HERRN, daß der HERR tun wird, was er geredet hat: Soll der Schatten zehn Stufen fürdergehen oder zehn Stufen zurückgehen?(D) 2Ki 20:9 καὶ εἶπεν Ησαιας τοῦτο τὸ σημεῖον παρὰ κυρίου ὅτι ποιήσει κύριος τὸν λόγον ὃν ἐλάλησεν πορεύσεται ἡ σκιὰ δέκα βαθμούς ἐὰν ἐπιστρέφῃ δέκα βαθμούς(lxx) 2Ki 20:9 Then Isaiah said, "This is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing which He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees or go backward ten degrees?"(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:10 ============ 2Ki 20:10 So Hezekiah answered, "It is easy for the shadow to decline ten steps; no, but let the shadow turn backward ten steps."(nasb) 2Ki 20:10 Et ait Ezechias: Facile est umbram crescere decem lineis: nec hoc volo ut fiat, sed ut revertatur retrorsum decem gradibus.(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:10 Y Ezequías respondió: Fácil cosa es que la sombra decline diez grados: pero no que la sombra vuelva atrás diez grados.(E) 2 Rois 20:10 Ezéchias répondit: C'est peu de chose que l'ombre avance de dix degrés; no, but let the shadow go backward ten degrees."(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:11 ============ 2Ki 20:11 Isaiah the prophet cried to the Lord, and He brought the shadow on the stairway back ten steps by which it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.(nasb) 2Ki 20:11 Invocavit itaque Isaias propheta Dominum, et reduxit umbram per lineas quibus jam descenderat in horologio Achaz, retrorsum decem gradibus.~(vulgate) 2 Reyes 20:11 Entonces el profeta Isaías clamó a Jehová; denn er hatte gehört, daß Hiskia krank gewesen war.(D) 2Ki 20:12 ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ ἀπέστειλεν Μαρωδαχβαλαδαν υἱὸς Βαλαδαν βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος βιβλία καὶ μαναα πρὸς Εζεκιαν ὅτι ἤκουσεν ὅτι ἠρρώστησεν Εζεκιας(lxx) 2Ki 20:12 At that time Berodach-Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that Hezekiah had been sick.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:13 ============ 2Ki 20:13 Hezekiah listened to them, and showed them all his treasure house, the silver and the gold and the spices and the precious oil and the house of his armor and all that was found in his treasuries. Es war nichts in seinem Hause und in seiner ganzen Herrschaft, das ihnen Hiskia nicht zeigte.(D) 2Ki 20:13 καὶ ἐχάρη ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῖς Εζεκιας καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτοῖς ὅλον τὸν οἶκον τοῦ νεχωθα τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ τὸ χρυσίον τὰ ἀρώματα καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον τὸ ἀγαθόν καὶ τὸν οἶκον τῶν σκευῶν καὶ ὅσα ηὑρέθη ἐν τοῖς θησαυροῖς αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἦν λόγος ὃν οὐκ ἔδειξεν αὐτοῖς Εζεκιας ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν πάσῃ τῇ ἐξουσίᾳ αὐτοῦ(lxx) 2Ki 20:13 And Hezekiah was attentive to them, and showed them all the house of his treasures--the silver and gold, the spices and precious ointment, and all his armory--all that was found among his treasures. There was nothing in his house or in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:14 ============ 2Ki 20:14 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, "What did these men say, and from where have they come to you?" So Hezekiah said, "They came from a far country, from Babylon."(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 20:15 ============ 2Ki 20:15 He said, "What have they seen in your house?" So Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasuries that I have not shown them."(nasb) 2Ki 20:15 At ille respondit: Quid viderunt in domo tua?
