May no joyful shout come into it!(nkjv) ======= Job 3:8 ============ Job 3:8 "Let those curse it who curse the day, Who are prepared to rouse Leviathan.(nasb) Job 3:8 Maledicant ei qui maledicunt diei, qui parati sunt suscitare Leviathan.(vulgate) Job 3:8 Maldíganla los que maldicen el día, los que se aprestan para levantar su llanto.(E) Job 3:8 Qu'elle soit maudite par ceux qui maudissent les jours, Par ceux qui savent exciter le léviathan!(F) Job 3:8 Es müssen sie verfluchen die Verflucher des Tages und die da bereit sind, zu erregen den Leviathan!(D) Job 3:8 ἀλλὰ καταράσαιτο αὐτὴν ὁ καταρώμενος τὴν ἡμέραν ἐκείνην ὁ μέλλων τὸ μέγα κῆτος χειρώσασθαι(lxx) Job 3:8 May those curse it who curse the day, Those who are ready to arouse Leviathan.(nkjv) ======= Job 3:9 ============ Job 3:9 "Let the stars of its twilight be darkened; Let it wait for light but have none, And let it not see the breaking dawn;(nasb) Job 3:9 Obtenebrentur stellæ caligine ejus; expectet lucem, et non videat, nec ortum surgentis auroræ.(vulgate) Job 3:9 Oscurézcanse las estrellas de su alba; espere la luz, y no venga, ni vea los párpados de la mañana:(E) Job 3:9 Que les étoiles de son crépuscule s'obscurcissent, Qu'elle attende en vain la lumière, Et qu'elle ne voie point les paupières de l'aurore!(F) Job 3:9 Ihre Sterne müssen finster sein in ihrer Dämmerung; sie hoffe aufs Licht, und es komme nicht, und müsse nicht sehen die Wimpern der Morgenröte,(D) Job 3:9 σκοτωθείη τὰ ἄστρα τῆς νυκτὸς ἐκείνης ὑπομείναι καὶ εἰς φωτισμὸν μὴ ἔλθοι καὶ μὴ ἴδοι ἑωσφόρον ἀνατέλλοντα(lxx) Job 3:9 May the stars of its morning be dark; May it look for light, but have none, And not see the dawning of the day;(nkjv) ======= Job 3:10 ============ Job 3:10 Because it did not shut the opening of my mother's womb, Or hide trouble from my eyes.(nasb) Job 3:10 Quia non conclusit ostia ventris qui portavit me, nec abstulit mala ab oculis meis.(vulgate) Job 3:10 Por cuanto no cerró las puertas del vientre [de mi madre], ni escondió de mis ojos la miseria.(E) Job 3:10 Car elle n'a pas fermé le sein qui me conçut, Ni dérobé la souffrance à mes regards.(F) Job 3:10 darum daß sie nicht verschlossen hat die Tür des Leibes meiner Mutter und nicht verborgen das Unglück vor meinen Augen!(D) Job 3:10 ὅτι οὐ συνέκλεισεν πύλας γαστρὸς μητρός μου ἀπήλλαξεν γὰρ ἂν πόνον ἀπὸ ὀφθαλμῶν μου(lxx) Job 3:10 Because it did not shut up the doors of my mother's womb, Nor hide sorrow from my eyes.(nkjv) ======= Job 3:11 ============ Job 3:11 "Why did I not die at birth, Come forth from the womb and expire?(nasb) Job 3:11 Quare non in vulva mortuus sum? egressus ex utero non statim perii?(vulgate) Job 3:11 ¿Por qué no morí yo en la matriz, o entregué el espíritu al salir del vientre?(E) Job 3:11 Pourquoi ne suis-je pas mort dans le ventre de ma mère? Warum bin ich nicht verschieden, da ich aus dem Leibe kam?(D) Job 3:11 διὰ τί γὰρ ἐν κοιλίᾳ οὐκ ἐτελεύτησα ἐκ γαστρὸς δὲ ἐξῆλθον καὶ οὐκ εὐθὺς ἀπωλόμην(lxx) Job 3:11 "Why did I not die at birth? Warum bin ich mit Brüsten gesäugt?(D) Job 3:12 ἵνα τί δὲ συνήντησάν μοι γόνατα ἵνα τί δὲ μαστοὺς ἐθήλασα(lxx) Job 3:12 Why did the knees receive me? Or why the breasts, that I should nurse?(nkjv) ======= Job 3:13 ============ Job 3:13 "For now I would have lain down and been quiet; I would have slept then, I would have been at rest,(nasb) Job 3:13 Nunc enim dormiens silerem, et somno meo requiescerem(vulgate) Job 3:13 Pues ahora yacería yo, y reposaría; dormiría, y entonces tendría reposo,(E) Job 3:13 Je serais couché maintenant, je serais tranquille, Je dormirais, je reposerais,(F) Job 3:13 So läge ich doch nun und wäre still, schliefe und hätte Ruhe(D) Job 3:13 νῦν ἂν κοιμηθεὶς ἡσύχασα ὑπνώσας δὲ ἀνεπαυσάμην(lxx) Job 3:13 For now I would have lain still and been quiet, I would have been asleep; Then I would have been at rest(nkjv) ======= Job 3:14 ============ Job 3:14 With kings and with counselors of the earth, Who rebuilt ruins for themselves;(nasb) Job 3:14 cum regibus et consulibus terræ, qui ædificant sibi solitudines;(vulgate) Job 3:14 con los reyes y con los consejeros de la tierra, que edifican para sí lugares desolados;(E) Job 3:14 Avec les rois et les grands de la terre, Qui se bâtirent des mausolées,(F) Job 3:14 mit den Königen und Ratsherren auf Erden, die das Wüste bauen,(D) Job 3:14 μετὰ βασιλέων βουλευτῶν γῆς οἳ ἠγαυριῶντο ἐπὶ ξίφεσιν(lxx) Job 3:14 With kings and counselors of the earth, Who built ruins for themselves,(nkjv) ======= Job 3:15 ============ Job 3:15 Or with princes who had gold, Who were filling their houses with silver.(nasb) Job 3:15 aut cum principibus qui possident aurum, et replent domos suas argento;(vulgate) Job 3:15 o con los príncipes que poseían el oro, que llenaban sus casas de plata.(E) Job 3:15 Avec les princes qui avaient de l'or, Et qui remplirent d'argent leurs demeures.(F) Job 3:15 oder mit den Fürsten, die Gold haben und deren Häuser voll Silber sind.(D) Job 3:15 ἢ μετὰ ἀρχόντων ὧν πολὺς ὁ χρυσός οἳ ἔπλησαν τοὺς οἴκους αὐτῶν ἀργυρίου(lxx) Job 3:15 Or with princes who had gold, Who filled their houses with silver;(nkjv) ======= Job 3:16 ============ Job 3:16 "Or like a miscarriage which is discarded, I would not be, As infants that never saw light.(nasb) Job 3:16 aut sicut abortivum absconditum non subsisterem, vel qui concepti non viderunt lucem.(vulgate) Job 3:16 O ¿por qué no fui escondido como abortado, como los pequeñitos [que] nunca vieron la luz?(E) Job 3:16 Ou je n'existerais pas, je serais comme un avorton caché, Comme des enfants qui n'ont pas vu la lumière.(F) Job 3:16 Oder wie eine unzeitige Geburt, die man verborgen hat, wäre ich gar nicht, wie Kinder, die das Licht nie gesehen haben.(D) Job 3:16 ἢ ὥσπερ ἔκτρωμα ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ μήτρας μητρὸς ἢ ὥσπερ νήπιοι οἳ οὐκ εἶδον φῶς(lxx) Job 3:16 Or why was I not hidden like a stillborn child, Like infants who never saw light?(nkjv) ======= Job 3:17 ============ Job 3:17 "There the wicked cease from raging, And there the weary are at rest.(nasb) Job 3:17 Ibi impii cessaverunt a tumultu, et ibi requieverunt fessi robore.(vulgate) Job 3:17 Allí los impíos dejan de perturbar, y allí descansan los de agotadas fuerzas.(E) Job 3:17 Là ne s'agitent plus les méchants, Et là se reposent ceux qui sont fatigués et sans force;(F) Job 3:17 Daselbst müssen doch aufhören die Gottlosen mit Toben; et tamquam inundantes aquæ, sic rugitus meus:(vulgate) Job 3:24 Pues antes que mi pan viene mi suspiro; y mis gemidos corren como aguas.(E) Job 3:24 Mes soupirs sont ma nourriture, Et mes cris se répandent comme l'eau.(F) Job 3:24 Denn wenn ich essen soll, muß ich seufzen, und mein Heulen fährt heraus wie Wasser.(D) Job 3:24 πρὸ γὰρ τῶν σίτων μου στεναγμός μοι ἥκει δακρύω δὲ ἐγὼ συνεχόμενος φόβῳ(lxx) Job 3:24 For my sighing comes before I eat, And my groanings pour out like water.(nkjv) ======= Job 3:25 ============ Job 3:25 "For what I fear comes upon me, And what I dread befalls me.(nasb) Job 3:25 quia timor quem timebam evenit mihi, et quod verebar accidit.(vulgate) Job 3:25 Porque el temor que me espantaba ha venido sobre mí, y me ha acontecido lo que yo temía.(E) Job 3:25 Ce que je crains, c'est ce qui m'arrive;
