The words of Job are ended.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:1 ============ Job 32:1 Then these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.(nasb) Job 32:1 Omiserunt autem tres viri isti respondere Job, eo quod justus sibi videretur.(vulgate) Job 32:1 Y cesaron estos tres varones de responder a Job, por cuanto él [era] justo a sus propios ojos.(E) Job 32:1 Ces trois hommes cessèrent de répondre à Job, parce qu'il se regardait comme juste.(F) Job 32:1 Da hörten die drei Männer auf, Hiob zu antworten, weil er sich für gerecht hielt.(D) Job 32:1 ἡσύχασαν δὲ καὶ οἱ τρεῖς φίλοι αὐτοῦ ἔτι ἀντειπεῖν Ιωβ ἦν γὰρ Ιωβ δίκαιος ἐναντίον αὐτῶν(lxx) Job 32:1 So these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:2 ============ Job 32:2 But the anger of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram burned; against Job his anger burned because he justified himself before God.(nasb) Job 32:2 Et iratus indignatusque est Eliu filius Barachel Buzites, de cognatione Ram: iratus est autem adversum Job, eo quod justum se esse diceret coram Deo.(vulgate) Job 32:2 Entonces Eliú, hijo de Baraquel, buzita, de la familia de Ram, se encendió en ira contra Job; se encendió en ira por cuanto él se justificaba más a sí mismo que a Dios.(E) Job 32:2 Alors s'enflamma de colère Elihu, fils de Barakeel de Buz, de la famille de Ram. Sa colère s'enflamma contre Job, parce qu'il se disait juste devant Dieu.(F) Job 32:2 Aber Elihu, der Sohn Baracheels von Bus, des Geschlechts Rams, ward zornig über Hiob, daß er seine Seele gerechter hielt denn Gott.(D) Job 32:2 ὠργίσθη δὲ Ελιους ὁ τοῦ Βαραχιηλ ὁ Βουζίτης ἐκ τῆς συγγενείας Ραμ τῆς Αυσίτιδος χώρας ὠργίσθη δὲ τῷ Ιωβ σφόδρα διότι ἀπέφηνεν ἑαυτὸν δίκαιον ἐναντίον κυρίου(lxx) Job 32:2 Then the wrath of Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was aroused against Job; his wrath was aroused because he justified himself rather than God.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:3 ============ Job 32:3 And his anger burned against his three friends because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.(nasb) Job 32:3 Porro adversum amicos ejus indignatus est, eo quod non invenissent responsionem rationabilem, sed tantummodo condemnassent Job.(vulgate) Job 32:3 Se encendió asimismo en ira contra sus tres amigos, porque no hallaban qué responder, [aunque] habían condenado a Job.(E) Job 32:3 Et sa colère s'enflamma contre ses trois amis, parce qu'ils ne trouvaient rien à répondre et que néanmoins ils condamnaient Job.(F) Job 32:3 Auch ward er zornig über seine drei Freunde, daß sie keine Antwort fanden und doch Hiob verdammten.(D) Job 32:3 καὶ κατὰ τῶν τριῶν δὲ φίλων ὠργίσθη σφόδρα διότι οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν ἀποκριθῆναι ἀντίθετα Ιωβ καὶ ἔθεντο αὐτὸν εἶναι ἀσεβῆ(lxx) Job 32:3 Also against his three friends his wrath was aroused, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:4 ============ Job 32:4 Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job because they were years older than he.(nasb) Job 32:4 Igitur Eliu expectavit Job loquentem, eo quod seniores essent qui loquebantur.(vulgate) Job 32:4 Y Eliú había esperado a que Job terminase de hablar, porque ellos [eran] más viejos que él.(E) Job 32:4 Comme ils étaient plus âgés que lui, Elihu avait attendu jusqu'à ce moment pour parler à Job.(F) Job 32:4 Denn Elihu hatte geharrt, bis daß sie mit Hiob geredet hatten, weil sie älter waren als er.(D) Job 32:4 Ελιους δὲ ὑπέμεινεν δοῦναι ἀπόκρισιν Ιωβ ὅτι πρεσβύτεροι αὐτοῦ εἰσιν ἡμέραις(lxx) Job 32:4 Now because they were years older than he, Elihu had waited to speak to Job.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:5 ============ Job 32:5 And when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of the three men his anger burned.(nasb) Job 32:5 Cum autem vidisset quod tres respondere non potuissent, iratus est vehementer.(vulgate) Job 32:5 Pero viendo Eliú que no [había] respuesta en la boca de aquellos tres varones, se encendió su ira.(E) Job 32:5 Mais, voyant qu'il n'y avait plus de réponse dans la bouche de ces trois hommes, Elihu s'enflamma de colère.(F) Job 32:5 Darum, da er sah, daß keine Antwort war im Munde der drei Männer, ward er zornig.(D) Job 32:5 καὶ εἶδεν Ελιους ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἀπόκρισις ἐν στόματι τῶν τριῶν ἀνδρῶν καὶ ἐθυμώθη ὀργὴ αὐτοῦ(lxx) Job 32:5 When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, his wrath was aroused.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:6 ============ Job 32:6 So Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite spoke out and said, "I am young in years and you are old; Therefore I was shy and afraid to tell you what I think.(nasb) Job 32:6 Respondensque Eliu filius Barachel Buzites, dixit: [Junior sum tempore, vos autem antiquiores: idcirco, demisso capite, veritus sum vobis indicare meam sententiam.(vulgate) Job 32:6 Y respondió Eliú, hijo de Baraquel, buzita, y dijo: Yo [soy] joven, y vosotros [sois] ancianos; por tanto, he tenido miedo, y he temido declararos mi opinión.(E) Job 32:6 Et Elihu, fils de Barakeel de Buz, prit la parole et dit: Je suis jeune, et vous êtes des vieillards; C'est pourquoi j'ai craint, j'ai redouté De vous faire connaître mon sentiment.(F) Job 32:6 Und so antwortete Elihu, der Sohn Baracheels von Bus, und sprach: Ich bin jung, ihr aber seid alt; darum habe ich mich gescheut und gefürchtet, mein Wissen euch kundzutun.(D) Job 32:6 ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ελιους ὁ τοῦ Βαραχιηλ ὁ Βουζίτης εἶπεν νεώτερος μέν εἰμι τῷ χρόνῳ ὑμεῖς δέ ἐστε πρεσβύτεροι διὸ ἡσύχασα φοβηθεὶς τοῦ ὑμῖν ἀναγγεῖλαι τὴν ἐμαυτοῦ ἐπιστήμην(lxx) Job 32:6 So Elihu, the son of Barachel the Buzite, answered and said: "I am young in years, and you are very old; Therefore I was afraid, And dared not declare my opinion to you.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:7 ============ Job 32:7 "I thought age should speak, And increased years should teach wisdom.(nasb) Job 32:7 Sperabam enim quod ætas prolixior loqueretur, et annorum multitudo doceret sapientiam.(vulgate) Job 32:7 Yo decía: Los días hablarán, y la muchedumbre de años declarará sabiduría.(E) Job 32:7 Je disais en moi-même: Les jours parleront, Le grand nombre des années enseignera la sagesse.(F) Job 32:7 Ich dachte: Laß das Alter reden, und die Menge der Jahre laß Weisheit beweisen.(D) Job 32:7 εἶπα δὲ ὅτι ὁ χρόνος ἐστὶν ὁ λαλῶν ἐν πολλοῖς δὲ ἔτεσιν οἴδασιν σοφίαν(lxx) Job 32:7 I said, 'Age should speak, And multitude of years should teach wisdom.'(nkjv) ======= Job 32:8 ============ Job 32:8 "But it is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding.(nasb) Job 32:8 Sed, ut video, spiritus est in hominibus, et inspiratio Omnipotentis dat intelligentiam.(vulgate) Job 32:8 Ciertamente espíritu [hay] en el hombre, y la inspiración del Omnipotente le da entendimiento.(E) Job 32:8 Mais en réalité, dans l'homme, c'est l'esprit, Le souffle du Tout-Puissant, qui donne l'intelligence;(F) Job 32:8 Aber der Geist ist in den Leuten und der Odem des Allmächtigen, der sie verständig macht.(D) Job 32:8 ἀλλὰ πνεῦμά ἐστιν ἐν βροτοῖς πνοὴ δὲ παντοκράτορός ἐστιν ἡ διδάσκουσα(lxx) Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:9 ============ Job 32:9 "The abundant in years may not be wise, Nor may elders understand justice.(nasb) Job 32:9 Non sunt longævi sapientes, nec senes intelligunt judicium.(vulgate) Job 32:9 No los grandes son los sabios, ni los viejos entienden el derecho.(E) Job 32:9 Ce n'est pas l'âge qui procure la sagesse, Ce n'est pas la vieillesse qui rend capable de juger.(F) Job 32:9 Die Großen sind nicht immer die Weisesten, und die Alten verstehen nicht das Recht.(D) Job 32:9 οὐχ οἱ πολυχρόνιοί εἰσιν σοφοί οὐδ᾽ οἱ γέροντες οἴδασιν κρίμα(lxx) Job 32:9 Great men are not always wise, Nor do the aged always understand justice.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:10 ============ Job 32:10 "So I say, 'Listen to me, I too will tell what I think.'(nasb) Job 32:10 Ideo dicam: Audite me: ostendam vobis etiam ego meam sapientiam.(vulgate) Job 32:10 Por tanto, yo dije: Escuchadme; también yo declararé lo que pienso.(E) Job 32:10 Voilà pourquoi je dis: Ecoute! Ich will mein Wissen auch kundtun.(D) Job 32:10 διὸ εἶπα ἀκούσατέ μου καὶ ἀναγγελῶ ὑμῖν ἃ οἶδα(lxx) Job 32:10 "Therefore I say, 'Listen to me, I also will declare my opinion.'(nkjv) ======= Job 32:11 ============ Job 32:11 "Behold, I waited for your words, I listened to your reasonings, While you pondered what to say.(nasb) Job 32:11 Expectavi enim sermones vestros; audivi prudentiam vestram, donec disceptaremini sermonibus;(vulgate) Job 32:11 He aquí yo he esperado a vuestras razones, he escuchado vuestros argumentos, en tanto que buscabais palabras.(E) Job 32:11 J'ai attendu la fin de vos discours, J'ai suivi vos raisonnements, Votre examen des paroles de Job.(F) Job 32:11 Siehe, ich habe geharrt auf das, was ihr geredet habt; ich habe aufgemerkt auf eure Einsicht, bis ihr träfet die rechte Rede,(D) Job 32:11 ἐνωτίζεσθέ μου τὰ ῥήματα ἐρῶ γὰρ ὑμῶν ἀκουόντων ἄχρι οὗ ἐτάσητε λόγους(lxx) Job 32:11 Indeed I waited for your words, I listened to your reasonings, while you searched out what to say.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:12 ============ Job 32:12 "I even paid close attention to you; Indeed, there was no one who refuted Job, Not one of you who answered his words.(nasb) Job 32:12 et donec putabam vos aliquid dicere, considerabam: sed, ut video, non est qui possit arguere Job, et respondere ex vobis sermonibus ejus.(vulgate) Job 32:12 Os he prestado atención, y he aquí que no [hay] de vosotros quien redarguya a Job, y responda a sus razones.(E) Job 32:12 Je vous ai donné toute mon attention; Et voici, aucun de vous ne l'a convaincu, Aucun n'a réfuté ses paroles.(F) Job 32:12 und ich habe achtgehabt auf euch. Aber siehe, da ist keiner unter euch, der Hiob zurechtweise oder seiner Rede antworte.(D) Job 32:12 καὶ μέχρι ὑμῶν συνήσω καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐκ ἦν τῷ Ιωβ ἐλέγχων ἀνταποκρινόμενος ῥήματα αὐτοῦ ἐξ ὑμῶν(lxx) Job 32:12 I paid close attention to you; And surely not one of you convinced Job, Or answered his words--(nkjv) ======= Job 32:13 ============ Job 32:13 "Do not say, 'We have found wisdom; God will rout him, not man.'(nasb) Job 32:13 Ne forte dicatis: Invenimus sapientiam: Deus projecit eum, non homo.(vulgate) Job 32:13 Para que no digáis: Nosotros hemos hallado sabiduría: Lo derriba Dios, no el hombre.(E) Job 32:13 Ne dites pas cependant: En lui nous avons trouvé la sagesse; C'est Dieu qui peut le confondre, ce n'est pas un homme!(F) Job 32:13 Sagt nur nicht: "Wir haben Weisheit getroffen; Gott muß ihn schlagen, kein Mensch."(D) Job 32:13 ἵνα μὴ εἴπητε εὕρομεν σοφίαν κυρίῳ προσθέμενοι(lxx) Job 32:13 Lest you say, 'We have found wisdom'; God will vanquish him, not man.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:14 ============ Job 32:14 "For he has not arranged his words against me, Nor will I reply to him with your arguments.(nasb) Job 32:14 Nihil locutus est mihi: et ego non secundum sermones vestros respondebo illi.(vulgate) Job 32:14 Ahora bien, Job no dirigió contra mí [sus] palabras, ni yo le responderé con vuestras razones.(E) Job 32:14 Il ne s'est pas adressé directement à moi: Aussi lui répondrai-je tout autrement que vous.(F) Job 32:14 Gegen mich hat er seine Worte nicht gerichtet, und mit euren Reden will ich ihm nicht antworten.(D) Job 32:14 ἀνθρώπῳ δὲ ἐπετρέψατε λαλῆσαι τοιαῦτα ῥήματα(lxx) Job 32:14 Now he has not directed his words against me; So I will not answer him with your words.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:15 ============ Job 32:15 "They are dismayed, they no longer answer; Words have failed them.(nasb) Job 32:15 Extimuerunt, nec responderunt ultra, abstuleruntque a se eloquia.(vulgate) Job 32:15 Se espantaron, no respondieron más; se les fueron los razonamientos.(E) Job 32:15 Ils ont peur, ils ne répondent plus! Ils ont la parole coupée!(F) Job 32:15 Ach! sie sind verzagt, können nicht mehr antworten; sie können nicht mehr reden.(D) Job 32:15 ἐπτοήθησαν οὐκ ἀπεκρίθησαν ἔτι ἐπαλαίωσαν ἐξ αὐτῶν λόγους(lxx) Job 32:15 "They are dismayed and answer no more; Words escape them.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:16 ============ Job 32:16 "Shall I wait, because they do not speak, Because they stop and no longer answer?(nasb) Job 32:16 Quoniam igitur expectavi, et non sunt locuti: steterunt, nec ultra responderunt:(vulgate) Job 32:16 Yo, pues, he esperado, porque no hablaban, antes pararon, [y] no respondieron más.(E) Job 32:16 J'ai attendu qu'ils eussent fini leurs discours, Qu'ils s'arrêtassent et ne sussent que répliquer.(F) Job 32:16 Weil ich denn geharrt habe, und sie konnten nicht reden (denn sie stehen still und antworten nicht mehr),(D) Job 32:16 ὑπέμεινα οὐ γὰρ ἐλάλησαν ὅτι ἔστησαν οὐκ ἀπεκρίθησαν(lxx) Job 32:16 And I have waited, because they did not speak, Because they stood still and answered no more.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:17 ============ Job 32:17 "I too will answer my share, I also will tell my opinion.(nasb) Job 32:17 respondebo et ego partem meam, et ostendam scientiam meam.(vulgate) Job 32:17 Por eso yo también responderé mi parte, también yo declararé mi juicio.(E) Job 32:17 A mon tour, je veux répondre aussi, Je veux dire aussi ce que je pense.(F) Job 32:17 will ich auch mein Teil antworten und will mein Wissen kundtun.(D) Job 32:17 ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ελιους λέγει(lxx) Job 32:17 I also will answer my part, I too will declare my opinion.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:18 ============ Job 32:18 "For I am full of words; The spirit within me constrains me.(nasb) Job 32:18 Plenus sum enim sermonibus, et coarctat me spiritus uteri mei.(vulgate) Job 32:18 Porque lleno estoy de palabras, y el espíritu dentro de mí me constriñe.(E) Job 32:18 Car je suis plein de paroles, L'esprit me presse au dedans de moi;(F) Job 32:18 Denn ich bin der Reden so voll, daß mich der Odem in meinem Innern ängstet.(D) Job 32:18 πάλιν λαλήσω πλήρης γάρ εἰμι ῥημάτων ὀλέκει γάρ με τὸ πνεῦμα τῆς γαστρός(lxx) Job 32:18 For I am full of words; The spirit within me compels me.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:19 ============ Job 32:19 "Behold, my belly is like unvented wine, Like new wineskins it is about to burst.(nasb) Job 32:19 En venter meus quasi mustum absque spiraculo, quod lagunculas novas disrumpit.(vulgate) Job 32:19 De cierto mi vientre está como el vino que no tiene respiradero, y se rompe como odres nuevos.(E) Job 32:19 Mon intérieur est comme un vin qui n'a pas d'issue, Comme des outres neuves qui vont éclater.(F) Job 32:19 Siehe, mein Inneres ist wie der Most, der zugestopft ist, der die neuen Schläuche zerreißt.(D) Job 32:19 ἡ δὲ γαστήρ μου ὥσπερ ἀσκὸς γλεύκους ζέων δεδεμένος ἢ ὥσπερ φυσητὴρ χαλκέως ἐρρηγώς(lxx) Job 32:19 Indeed my belly is like wine that has no vent; It is ready to burst like new wineskins.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:20 ============ Job 32:20 "Let me speak that I may get relief; Let me open my lips and answer.(nasb) Job 32:20 Loquar, et respirabo paululum: aperiam labia mea, et respondebo.(vulgate) Job 32:20 Hablaré, pues, y respiraré; abriré mis labios, y responderé.(E) Job 32:20 Je parlerai pour respirer à l'aise, J'ouvrirai mes lèvres et je répondrai.(F) Job 32:20 Ich muß reden, daß ich mir Luft mache; ich muß meine Lippen auftun und antworten.(D) Job 32:20 λαλήσω ἵνα ἀναπαύσωμαι ἀνοίξας τὰ χείλη(lxx) Job 32:20 I will speak, that I may find relief; I must open my lips and answer.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:21 ============ Job 32:21 "Let me now be partial to no one, Nor flatter any man.(nasb) Job 32:21 Non accipiam personam viri, et Deum homini non æquabo.(vulgate) Job 32:21 No haré ahora acepción de personas, ni usaré con hombre alguno de títulos lisonjeros.(E) Job 32:21 Je n'aurai point égard à l'apparence, Et je ne flatterai personne;(F) Job 32:21 Ich will niemands Person ansehen und will keinem Menschen schmeicheln.(D) Job 32:21 ἄνθρωπον γὰρ οὐ μὴ αἰσχυνθῶ ἀλλὰ μὴν οὐδὲ βροτὸν οὐ μὴ ἐντραπῶ(lxx) Job 32:21 Let me not, I pray, show partiality to anyone; Nor let me flatter any man.(nkjv) ======= Job 32:22 ============ Job 32:22 "For I do not know how to flatter, Else my Maker would soon take me away.(nasb) Job 32:22 Nescio enim quamdiu subsistam, et si post modicum tollat me factor meus.](vulgate) Job 32:22 Porque no sé hablar lisonjas; [de otra manera] en breve mi Hacedor me consumiría.(E) Job 32:22 Car je ne sais pas flatter: Mon créateur m'enlèverait bien vite.(F) Job 32:22 Denn ich weiß nicht zu schmeicheln; leicht würde mich sonst mein Schöpfer dahinraffen.(D) Job 32:22 οὐ γὰρ ἐπίσταμαι θαυμάσαι πρόσωπον εἰ δὲ μή καὶ ἐμὲ σῆτες ἔδονται(lxx) Job 32:22 For I do not know how to flatter, Else my Maker would soon take me away.(nkjv) ======= Job 33:1 ============ top of the page
