Hear this, all peoples; Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:2 ============ Psa 49:2 Both low and high, Rich and poor together.(nasb) Psa 49:2 [vulgate 48:3] tam filii Adam quam filii singulorum simul dives et pauper(vulgate) Salmos 49:2 Así los plebeyos como los nobles, el rico y el pobre juntamente.(E) Psaume 49:2 Petits et grands, Riches et pauvres!(F) Psa 49:2 beide, gemeiner Mann und Herren, beide, reich und arm, miteinander!(D) Psa 49:2 ἀκούσατε ταῦτα πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἐνωτίσασθε πάντες οἱ κατοικοῦντες τὴν οἰκουμένην(lxx) Psa 49:2 Both low and high, Rich and poor together.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:3 ============ Psa 49:3 My mouth will speak wisdom, And the meditation of my heart will be understanding.(nasb) Psa 49:3 [vulgate 48:4] os meum loquitur sapientias et meditatio cordis mei prudentias(vulgate) Salmos 49:3 Mi boca hablará sabiduría; I will disclose my dark saying on the harp.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:5 ============ Psa 49:5 Why should I fear in days of adversity, When the iniquity of my foes surrounds me,(nasb) Psa 49:5 [vulgate 48:6] quare timebo in diebus mali iniquitas calcanei mei circumdabit me(vulgate) Salmos 49:5 ¿Por qué he de temer en los días de adversidad, cuando la iniquidad de mis acechadores me rodee?(E) Psaume 49:5 Pourquoi craindrais-je aux jours du malheur, Lorsque l'iniquité de mes adversaires m'enveloppe?(F) Psa 49:5 Warum sollte ich mich fürchten in bösen Tagen, wenn mich die Missetat meiner Untertreter umgibt,(D) Psa 49:5 κλινῶ εἰς παραβολὴν τὸ οὖς μου ἀνοίξω ἐν ψαλτηρίῳ τὸ πρόβλημά μου(lxx) Psa 49:5 Why should I fear in the days of evil, When the iniquity at my heels surrounds me?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:6 ============ Psa 49:6 Even those who trust in their wealth And boast in the abundance of their riches?(nasb) Psa 49:6 [vulgate 48:7] qui fiduciam habent in fortitudine sua et in multitudine divitiarum suarum superbiunt(vulgate) Salmos 49:6 Los que confían en sus posesiones, y se jactan en la muchedumbre de sus riquezas,(E) Psaume 49:6 Ils ont confiance en leurs biens, Et se glorifient de leur grande richesse.(F) Psa 49:6 die sich verlassen auf ihr Gut und trotzen auf ihren großen Reichtum?(D) Psa 49:6 ἵνα τί φοβοῦμαι ἐν ἡμέρᾳ πονηρᾷ ἡ ἀνομία τῆς πτέρνης μου κυκλώσει με(lxx) Psa 49:6 Those who trust in their wealth And boast in the multitude of their riches,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:7 ============ Psa 49:7 No man can by any means redeem his brother Or give to God a ransom for him--(nasb) Psa 49:7 [vulgate 48:8] fratrem redimens non redimet vir nec dabit Deo propitiationem pro eo(vulgate) Salmos 49:7 ninguno [de ellos] podrá, en manera alguna, redimir a su hermano, ni dar a Dios su rescate(E) Psaume 49:7 Ils ne peuvent se racheter l'un l'autre, Ni donner à Dieu le prix du rachat.(F) Psa 49:7 Kann doch einen Bruder niemand erlösen noch ihn Gott versöhnen(D) Psa 49:7 οἱ πεποιθότες ἐπὶ τῇ δυνάμει αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τῷ πλήθει τοῦ πλούτου αὐτῶν καυχώμενοι(lxx) Psa 49:7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him--(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:8 ============ Psa 49:8 For the redemption of his soul is costly, And he should cease trying forever--(nasb) Psa 49:8 [vulgate 48:9] neque pretium redemptionis animae eorum sed quiescet in saeculo(vulgate) Salmos 49:8 (Porque la redención de su alma es de gran precio, y no se hará jamás).(E) Psaume 49:8 Le rachat de leur âme est cher, Et n'aura jamais lieu;(F) Psa 49:8 (denn es kostet zuviel, eine Seele zu erlösen; man muß es anstehen lassen ewiglich),(D) Psa 49:8 ἀδελφὸς οὐ λυτροῦται λυτρώσεται ἄνθρωπος οὐ δώσει τῷ θεῷ ἐξίλασμα αὐτοῦ(lxx) Psa 49:8 For the redemption of their souls is costly, And it shall cease forever--(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:9 ============ Psa 49:9 That he should live on eternally, That he should not undergo decay.(nasb) Psa 49:9 [vulgate 48:10] et vivet ultra in sempiternum(vulgate) Salmos 49:9 Para que viva para siempre, y no vea corrupción.(E) Psaume 49:9 Ils ne vivront pas toujours, Ils n'éviteront pas la vue de la fosse.(F) Psa 49:9 daß er fortlebe immerdar und die Grube nicht sehe.(D) Psa 49:9 καὶ τὴν τιμὴν τῆς λυτρώσεως τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ(lxx) Psa 49:9 That he should continue to live eternally, And not see the Pit.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:10 ============ Psa 49:10 For he sees that even wise men die; The stupid and the senseless alike perish And leave their wealth to others.(nasb) Psa 49:10 [vulgate 48:11] et non videbit interitum cum viderit sapientes morientes simul insipiens et indoctus peribunt et derelinquent alienis divitias suas(vulgate) Salmos 49:10 Pues él ve que mueren los sabios; igualmente perecen el insensato y el necio, y dejan a otros sus riquezas.(E) Psaume 49:10 Car ils la verront: les sages meurent, L'insensé et le stupide périssent également, Et ils laissent à d'autres leurs biens.(F) Psa 49:10 Denn man wird sehen, daß die Weisen sterben sowohl als die Toren und Narren umkommen und müssen ihr Gut andern lassen.(D) Psa 49:10 καὶ ἐκόπασεν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ ζήσεται εἰς τέλος ὅτι οὐκ ὄψεται καταφθοράν ὅταν ἴδῃ σοφοὺς ἀποθνῄσκοντας(lxx) Psa 49:10 For he sees wise men die; Likewise the fool and the senseless person perish, And leave their wealth to others.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:11 ============ Psa 49:11 Their inner thought is that their houses are forever And their dwelling places to all generations; They have called their lands after their own names.(nasb) Psa 49:11 [vulgate 48:12] interiora sua domus suas in saeculo tabernacula sua in generatione et generatione vocaverunt nominibus suis terras suas(vulgate) Salmos 49:11 En su interior piensan que sus casas [serán] eternas, y sus habitaciones para generación y generación; dan sus nombres a sus tierras.(E) Psaume 49:11 Ils s'imaginent que leurs maisons seront éternelles, Que leurs demeures subsisteront d'âge en âge, Eux dont les noms sont honorés sur la terre.(F) Psa 49:11 Das ist ihr Herz, daß ihre Häuser währen immerdar, ihre Wohnungen bleiben für und für; und haben große Ehre auf Erden.(D) Psa 49:11 ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ ἄφρων καὶ ἄνους ἀπολοῦνται καὶ καταλείψουσιν ἀλλοτρίοις τὸν πλοῦτον αὐτῶν(lxx) Psa 49:11 Their inner thought is that their houses will last forever, Their dwelling places to all generations; They call their lands after their own names.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:12 ============ Psa 49:12 But man in his pomp will not endure; He is like the beasts that perish.(nasb) Psa 49:12 [vulgate 48:13] et homo in honore non commorabitur adsimilatus est iumentis et exaequatus est(vulgate) Salmos 49:12 Mas el hombre no permanecerá en honra; es semejante a las bestias que perecen.(E) Psaume 49:12 Mais l'homme qui est en honneur n'a point de durée, Il est semblable aux bêtes que l'on égorge.(F) Psa 49:12 Dennoch kann ein Mensch nicht bleiben in solchem Ansehen, sondern muß davon wie ein Vieh.(D) Psa 49:12 καὶ οἱ τάφοι αὐτῶν οἰκίαι αὐτῶν εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα σκηνώματα αὐτῶν εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεάν ἐπεκαλέσαντο τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν γαιῶν αὐτῶν(lxx) Psa 49:12 Nevertheless man, though in honor, does not remain; He is like the beasts that perish.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:13 ============ Psa 49:13 This is the way of those who are foolish, And of those after them who approve their words. Selah.(nasb) Psa 49:13 [vulgate 48:14] haec est via insipientiae eorum et post eos iuxta os eorum current semper(vulgate) Salmos 49:13 Este su camino es locura; con todo, sus descendientes se complacen en el dicho de ellos. (Selah)(E) Psaume 49:13 Telle est leur voie, leur folie, Et ceux qui les suivent se plaisent à leurs discours. -Pause.(F) Psa 49:13 Dies ihr Tun ist eitel Torheit; doch loben's ihre Nachkommen mit ihrem Munde. (Sela.)(D) Psa 49:13 καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἐν τιμῇ ὢν οὐ συνῆκεν παρασυνεβλήθη τοῖς κτήνεσιν τοῖς ἀνοήτοις καὶ ὡμοιώθη αὐτοῖς(lxx) Psa 49:13 This is the way of those who are foolish, And of their posterity who approve their sayings. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:14 ============ Psa 49:14 As sheep they are appointed for Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd; And the upright shall rule over them in the morning, And their form shall be for Sheol to consume So that they have no habitation.(nasb) Psa 49:14 [vulgate 48:15] quasi grex in inferno positi sunt mors pascet eos et subicient eos recti in matutino et figura eorum conteretur in inferno post habitaculum suum(vulgate) Salmos 49:14 Como rebaños serán puestos en la sepultura; la muerte se cebará en ellos; y los rectos señorearán sobre ellos por la mañana; y su buen parecer se consumirá en el sepulcro de su morada.(E) Psaume 49:14 Comme un troupeau, ils sont mis dans le séjour des morts, La mort en fait sa pâture; Et bientôt les hommes droits les foulent aux pieds, Leur beauté s'évanouit, le séjour des morts est leur demeure.(F) Psa 49:14 Sie liegen in der Hölle wie Schafe, der Tod weidet sie; aber die Frommen werden gar bald über sie herrschen, und ihr Trotz muß vergehen; in der Hölle müssen sie bleiben.(D) Psa 49:14 αὕτη ἡ ὁδὸς αὐτῶν σκάνδαλον αὐτοῖς καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν εὐδοκήσουσιν διάψαλμα(lxx) Psa 49:14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; Death shall feed on them; The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; And their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 49:15 ============ Psa 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, For He will receive me. Selah.(nasb) Psa 49:15 [vulgate 48:16] verumtamen Deus redimet animam meam de manu inferi cum adsumpserit me semper(vulgate) Salmos 49:15 Pero Dios redimirá mi alma del poder de la sepultura, porque Él me recibirá.
