"If it had not been the Lord who was on our side," Let Israel now say--(nkjv) ======= Psalm 124:2 ============ Psa 124:2 "Had it not been the Lord who was on our side When men rose up against us,(nasb) Psa 124:2 [vulgate 123:2] nisi Dominus fuisset in nobis cum exsurgerent super nos homines(vulgate) Salmos 124:2 a no haber estado Jehová por nosotros, cuando se levantaron contra nosotros los hombres,(E) Psaume 124:2 Sans l'Eternel qui nous protégea, Quand les hommes s'élevèrent contre nous,(F) Psa 124:2 wo der HERR nicht bei uns wäre, wenn die Menschen sich wider uns setzen:(D) Psa 124:2 εἰ μὴ ὅτι κύριος ἦν ἐν ἡμῖν ἐν τῷ ἐπαναστῆναι ἀνθρώπους ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς(lxx) Psa 124:2 "If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, When men rose up against us,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 124:3 ============ Psa 124:3 Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their anger was kindled against us;(nasb) Psa 124:3 [vulgate 123:3] forsitan vivos absorbuissent nos cum irasceretur furor eorum super nos(vulgate) Salmos 124:3 vivos nos habrían tragado entonces, cuando se encendió su furor contra nosotros.(E) Psaume 124:3 Ils nous auraient engloutis tout vivants, Quand leur colère s'enflamma contre nous;(F) Psa 124:3 so verschlängen sie uns lebendig, wenn ihr Zorn über uns ergrimmte;(D) Psa 124:3 ἄρα ζῶντας ἂν κατέπιον ἡμᾶς ἐν τῷ ὀργισθῆναι τὸν θυμὸν αὐτῶν ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς(lxx) Psa 124:3 Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their wrath was kindled against us;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 124:4 ============ Psa 124:4 Then the waters would have engulfed us, The stream would have swept over our soul;(nasb) Psa 124:4 [vulgate 123:4] forsitan aquae circumdedissent nos(vulgate) Salmos 124:4 Entonces nos habrían inundado las aguas; sobre nuestra alma hubiera pasado el torrente:(E) Psaume 124:4 Alors les eaux nous auraient submergés, Les torrents auraient passé sur notre âme;(F) Psa 124:4 so ersäufte uns Wasser, Ströme gingen über unsre Seele;(D) Psa 124:4 ἄρα τὸ ὕδωρ κατεπόντισεν ἡμᾶς χείμαρρον διῆλθεν ἡ ψυχὴ ἡμῶν(lxx) Psa 124:4 Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, The stream would have gone over our soul;(nkjv) ======= Psalm 124:5 ============ Psa 124:5 Then the raging waters would have swept over our soul."(nasb) Psa 124:5 [vulgate 123:5] torrens transisset super animam nostram forsitan transissent super animam nostram aquae superbae(vulgate) Salmos 124:5 Hubieran entonces pasado sobre nuestra alma las aguas soberbias.(E) Psaume 124:5 Alors auraient passé sur notre âme Les flots impétueux.(F) Psa 124:5 es gingen Wasser allzu hoch über unsre Seele.(D) Psa 124:5 ἄρα διῆλθεν ἡ ψυχὴ ἡμῶν τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ἀνυπόστατον(lxx) Psa 124:5 Then the swollen waters Would have gone over our soul."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 124:6 ============ Psa 124:6 Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us to be torn by their teeth.(nasb) Psa 124:6 [vulgate 123:6] benedictus Dominus qui non dedit nos in praedam dentibus eorum(vulgate) Salmos 124:6 Bendito Jehová, que no nos dio por presa a los dientes de ellos.(E) Psaume 124:6 Béni soit l'Eternel, Qui ne nous a pas livrés en proie à leurs dents!(F) Psa 124:6 Gelobet sei der HERR, daß er uns nicht gibt zum Raub in ihre Zähne!(D) Psa 124:6 εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὃς οὐκ ἔδωκεν ἡμᾶς εἰς θήραν τοῖς ὀδοῦσιν αὐτῶν(lxx) Psa 124:6 Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 124:7 ============ Psa 124:7 Our soul has escaped as a bird out of the snare of the trapper; The snare is broken and we have escaped.(nasb) Psa 124:7 [vulgate 123:7] anima nostra quasi avis erepta est de laqueo venantium laqueus contritus est et nos liberati sumus(vulgate) Salmos 124:7 Nuestra alma escapó cual ave del lazo de los cazadores; se rompió el lazo, y escapamos nosotros.(E) Psaume 124:7 Notre âme s'est échappée comme l'oiseau du filet des oiseleurs; Le filet s'est rompu, et nous nous sommes échappés.(F) Psa 124:7 Unsre Seele ist entronnen wie ein Vogel dem Stricke des Voglers; der Strick ist zerrissen, wir sind los.(D) Psa 124:7 ἡ ψυχὴ ἡμῶν ὡς στρουθίον ἐρρύσθη ἐκ τῆς παγίδος τῶν θηρευόντων ἡ παγὶς συνετρίβη καὶ ἡμεῖς ἐρρύσθημεν(lxx) Psa 124:7 Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 124:8 ============ Psa 124:8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.(nasb) Psa 124:8 [vulgate 123:8] auxilium nostrum in nomine Domini qui fecit caelum et terram(vulgate) Salmos 124:8 Nuestro socorro [está] en el nombre de Jehová, que hizo el cielo y la tierra.(E) Psaume 124:8 Notre secours est dans le nom de l'Eternel, Qui a fait les cieux et la terre.(F) Psa 124:8 Unsre Hilfe steht im Namen des HERRN, der Himmel und Erden gemacht hat.(D) Psa 124:8 ἡ βοήθεια ἡμῶν ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου τοῦ ποιήσαντος τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν(lxx) Psa 124:8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 125:1 ============ top of the page
