Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 2:1 ============ Isa 2:1 The word which Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.(nasb) Isa 2:1 Verbum quod vidit Isaias, filius Amos, super Juda et Jerusalem.(vulgate) Isaías 2:1 Lo que vio Isaías, hijo de Amoz, tocante a Judá y a Jerusalén.(E) Ésaïe 2:1 Prophétie d'Esaïe, fils d'Amots, sur Juda et Jérusalem.(F) Isa 2:1 Dies ist's, das Jesaja, der Sohn des Amoz, sah von Juda und Jerusalem:(D) Isa 2:1 ὁ λόγος ὁ γενόμενος παρὰ κυρίου πρὸς Ησαιαν υἱὸν Αμως περὶ τῆς Ιουδαίας καὶ περὶ Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Isa 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:2 ============ Isa 2:2 Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it.(nasb) Isa 2:2 [Et erit in novissimis diebus: præparatus mons domus Domini in vertice montium, et elevabitur super colles; et fluent ad eum omnes gentes,(vulgate) Isaías 2:2 Y acontecerá en lo postrero de los tiempos, que será confirmado el monte de la casa de Jehová por cabeza de los montes, y será ensalzado sobre los collados, y correrán a él todas las naciones.(E) Ésaïe 2:2 Il arrivera, dans la suite des temps, Que la montagne de la maison de l'Eternel Sera fondée sur le sommet des montagnes, Qu'elle s'élèvera par-dessus les collines, Et que toutes les nations y afflueront.(F) Isa 2:2 Es wird zur letzten Zeit der Berg, da des HERRN Haus ist, fest stehen, höher denn alle Berge, und über alle Hügel erhaben werden, und werden alle Heiden dazu laufen(D) Isa 2:2 ὅτι ἔσται ἐν ταῖς ἐσχάταις ἡμέραις ἐμφανὲς τὸ ὄρος κυρίου καὶ ὁ οἶκος τοῦ θεοῦ ἐπ᾽ ἄκρων τῶν ὀρέων καὶ ὑψωθήσεται ὑπεράνω τῶν βουνῶν καὶ ἥξουσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη(lxx) Isa 2:2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the Lord's house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And all nations shall flow to it.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:3 ============ Isa 2:3 And many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us concerning His ways And that we may walk in His paths." For the law will go forth from Zion And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.(nasb) Isa 2:3 et ibunt populi multi, et dicent: Venite, et ascendamus ad montem Domini, et ad domum Dei Jacob; et docebit nos vias suas, et ambulabimus in semitis ejus, quia de Sion exibit lex, et verbum Domini de Jerusalem.(vulgate) Isaías 2:3 Y vendrán muchos pueblos, y dirán: Venid, y subamos al monte de Jehová, a la casa del Dios de Jacob; y Él nos enseñará en sus caminos, y caminaremos por sus sendas. Porque de Sión saldrá la ley, y de Jerusalén la palabra de Jehová.(E) Ésaïe 2:3 Des peuples s'y rendront en foule, et diront: Venez, et montons à la montagne de l'Eternel, A la maison du Dieu de Jacob, Afin qu'il nous enseigne ses voies, Et que nous marchions dans ses sentiers. Car de Sion sortira la loi, Et de Jérusalem la parole de l'Eternel.(F) Isa 2:3 und viele Völker hingehen und sagen: Kommt, laßt uns auf den Berg des HERRN gehen, zum Hause des Gottes Jakobs, daß er uns lehre seine Wege und wir wandeln auf seinen Steigen! Denn von Zion wird das Gesetz ausgehen, und des HERRN Wort von Jerusalem.(D) Isa 2:3 καὶ πορεύσονται ἔθνη πολλὰ καὶ ἐροῦσιν δεῦτε καὶ ἀναβῶμεν εἰς τὸ ὄρος κυρίου καὶ εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ Ιακωβ καὶ ἀναγγελεῖ ἡμῖν τὴν ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ πορευσόμεθα ἐν αὐτῇ ἐκ γὰρ Σιων ἐξελεύσεται νόμος καὶ λόγος κυρίου ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Isa 2:3 Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:4 ============ Isa 2:4 And He will judge between the nations, And will render decisions for many peoples; And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, And never again will they learn war.(nasb) Isa 2:4 Et judicabit gentes, et arguet populos multos; et conflabunt gladios suos in vomeres, et lanceas suas in falces. Non levabit gens contra gentem gladium, nec exercebuntur ultra ad prælium.(vulgate) Isaías 2:4 Y juzgará entre las naciones, y reprenderá a muchos pueblos; y volverán sus espadas en rejas de arado, y sus lanzas en hoces; no alzará espada nación contra nación, ni se adiestrarán más para la guerra.(E) Ésaïe 2:4 Il sera le juge des nations, L'arbitre d'un grand nombre de peuples. De leurs glaives ils forgeront des hoyaux, Et de leurs lances des serpes: Une nation ne tirera plus l'épée contre une autre, Et l'on n'apprendra plus la guerre.(F) Isa 2:4 Und er wird richten unter den Heiden und strafen viele Völker. Da werden sie ihre Schwerter zu Pflugscharen und ihre Spieße zu Sicheln machen. Denn es wird kein Volk gegen das andere ein Schwert aufheben, und werden hinfort nicht mehr kriegen lernen.(D) Isa 2:4 καὶ κρινεῖ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ ἐλέγξει λαὸν πολύν καὶ συγκόψουσιν τὰς μαχαίρας αὐτῶν εἰς ἄροτρα καὶ τὰς ζιβύνας αὐτῶν εἰς δρέπανα καὶ οὐ λήμψεται ἔτι ἔθνος ἐπ᾽ ἔθνος μάχαιραν καὶ οὐ μὴ μάθωσιν ἔτι πολεμεῖν(lxx) Isa 2:4 He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:5 ============ Isa 2:5 Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.(nasb) Isa 2:5 Domus Jacob, venite, et ambulemus in lumine Domini.]~(vulgate) Isaías 2:5 Venid, oh casa de Jacob, y caminemos a la luz de Jehová.(E) Ésaïe 2:5 Maison de Jacob, Venez, et marchons à la lumière de l'Eternel!(F) Isa 2:5 Kommt nun, ihr vom Hause Jakob, laßt uns wandeln im Lichte des HERRN!(D) Isa 2:5 καὶ νῦν ὁ οἶκος τοῦ Ιακωβ δεῦτε πορευθῶμεν τῷ φωτὶ κυρίου(lxx) Isa 2:5 O house of Jacob, come and let us walk In the light of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:6 ============ Isa 2:6 For You have abandoned Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with influences from the east, And they are soothsayers like the Philistines, And they strike bargains with the children of foreigners.(nasb) Isa 2:6 [Projecisti enim populum tuum, domum Jacob, quia repleti sunt ut olim, et augeres habuerunt ut Philisthiim, et pueris alienis adhæserunt.(vulgate) Isaías 2:6 Ciertamente tú has dejado a tu pueblo, la casa de Jacob, porque están llenos [de maldades] del oriente, y de agoreros, como los filisteos; y hacen pacto con hijos de extranjeros.(E) Ésaïe 2:6 Car tu as abandonné ton peuple, la maison de Jacob, Parce qu'ils sont pleins de l'Orient, Et adonnés à la magie comme les Philistins, Et parce qu'ils s'allient aux fils des étrangers.(F) Isa 2:6 Aber du hast dein Volk, das Haus Jakob, lassen fahren; denn sie treibens mehr als die gegen den Aufgang und sind Tagewähler wie die Philister und hängen sich an die Kinder der Fremden.(D) Isa 2:6 ἀνῆκεν γὰρ τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ ὅτι ἐνεπλήσθη ὡς τὸ ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς ἡ χώρα αὐτῶν κληδονισμῶν ὡς ἡ τῶν ἀλλοφύλων καὶ τέκνα πολλὰ ἀλλόφυλα ἐγενήθη αὐτοῖς(lxx) Isa 2:6 For You have forsaken Your people, the house of Jacob, Because they are filled with eastern ways; They are soothsayers like the Philistines, And they are pleased with the children of foreigners.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:7 ============ Isa 2:7 Their land has also been filled with silver and gold And there is no end to their treasures; Their land has also been filled with horses And there is no end to their chariots.(nasb) Isa 2:7 Repleta est terra argento et auro, et non est finis thesaurorum ejus.(vulgate) Isaías 2:7 Su tierra está llena de plata y oro, sus tesoros no tienen fin. También está su tierra llena de caballos; sus carros [son] innumerables.(E) Ésaïe 2:7 Le pays est rempli d'argent et d'or, Et il y a des trésors sans fin; Le pays est rempli de chevaux, Et il y a des chars sans nombre.(F) Isa 2:7 Ihr Land ist voll Silber und Gold, und ihrer Schätze ist kein Ende; ihr Land ist voll Rosse, und ihrer Wagen ist kein Ende.(D) Isa 2:7 ἐνεπλήσθη γὰρ ἡ χώρα αὐτῶν ἀργυρίου καὶ χρυσίου καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἀριθμὸς τῶν θησαυρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἐνεπλήσθη ἡ γῆ ἵππων καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἀριθμὸς τῶν ἁρμάτων αὐτῶν(lxx) Isa 2:7 Their land is also full of silver and gold, And there is no end to their treasures; Their land is also full of horses, And there is no end to their chariots.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:8 ============ Isa 2:8 Their land has also been filled with idols; They worship the work of their hands, That which their fingers have made.(nasb) Isa 2:8 Et repleta est terra ejus equis, et innumerabiles quadrigæ ejus. Et repleta est terra ejus idolis; opus manuum suarum adoraverunt, quod fecerunt digiti eorum.(vulgate) Isaías 2:8 Además su tierra está llena de ídolos, y a la obra de sus manos se han arrodillado, a lo que fabricaron sus dedos.(E) Ésaïe 2:8 Le pays est rempli d'idoles; Ils se prosternent devant l'ouvrage de leurs mains, Devant ce que leurs doigts ont fabriqué.(F) Isa 2:8 Auch ist ihr Land voll Götzen; sie beten an ihrer Hände Werk, das ihre Finger gemacht haben.(D) Isa 2:8 καὶ ἐνεπλήσθη ἡ γῆ βδελυγμάτων τῶν ἔργων τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ προσεκύνησαν οἷς ἐποίησαν οἱ δάκτυλοι αὐτῶν(lxx) Isa 2:8 Their land is also full of idols; They worship the work of their own hands, That which their own fingers have made.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:9 ============ Isa 2:9 So the common man has been humbled And the man of importance has been abased, But do not forgive them.(nasb) Isa 2:9 Et incurvavit se homo, et humiliatus est vir; ne ergo dimittas eis.(vulgate) Isaías 2:9 Y el hombre vil se ha inclinado, y el hombre altivo se ha humillado; por tanto no los perdones.(E) Ésaïe 2:9 Les petits seront abattus, et les grands seront abaissés: Tu ne leur pardonneras point.(F) Isa 2:9 Da bückt sich der Pöbel, da demütigen sich die Herren. Das wirst du ihnen nicht vergeben.(D) Isa 2:9 καὶ ἔκυψεν ἄνθρωπος καὶ ἐταπεινώθη ἀνήρ καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀνήσω αὐτούς(lxx) Isa 2:9 People bow down, And each man humbles himself; Therefore do not forgive them.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:10 ============ Isa 2:10 Enter the rock and hide in the dust From the terror of the Lord and from the splendor of His majesty.(nasb) Isa 2:10 Ingredere in petram, et abscondere in fossa humo a facie timoris Domini, et a gloria majestatis ejus.(vulgate) Isaías 2:10 Métete en la piedra, escóndete en el polvo, por la presencia temible de Jehová, y por el esplendor de su majestad.(E) Ésaïe 2:10 Entre dans les rochers, Et cache-toi dans la poussière, Pour éviter la terreur de l'Eternel Et l'éclat de sa majesté.(F) Isa 2:10 Gehe in den Felsen und verbirg dich in der Erde vor der Furcht des HERRN und vor seiner herrlichen Majestät.(D) Isa 2:10 καὶ νῦν εἰσέλθετε εἰς τὰς πέτρας καὶ κρύπτεσθε εἰς τὴν γῆν ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ φόβου κυρίου καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς δόξης τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ ὅταν ἀναστῇ θραῦσαι τὴν γῆν(lxx) Isa 2:10 Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:11 ============ Isa 2:11 The proud look of man will be abased And the loftiness of man will be humbled, And the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.(nasb) Isa 2:11 Oculi sublimes hominis humiliati sunt, et incurvabitur altitudo virorum; exaltabitur autem Dominus solus in die illa.(vulgate) Isaías 2:11 La altivez de los ojos del hombre será abatida, y la soberbia de los hombres será humillada; y sólo Jehová será exaltado en aquel día.(E) Ésaïe 2:11 L'homme au regard hautain sera abaissé, Et l'orgueilleux sera humilié: L'Eternel seul sera élevé ce jour-là.(F) Isa 2:11 Denn alle hohen Augen werden erniedrigt werden, und die hohe Männer sind, werden sich bücken müssen; der HERR aber wird allein hoch sein zu der Zeit.(D) Isa 2:11 οἱ γὰρ ὀφθαλμοὶ κυρίου ὑψηλοί ὁ δὲ ἄνθρωπος ταπεινός καὶ ταπεινωθήσεται τὸ ὕψος τῶν ἀνθρώπων καὶ ὑψωθήσεται κύριος μόνος ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ(lxx) Isa 2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:12 ============ Isa 2:12 For the Lord of hosts will have a day of reckoning Against everyone who is proud and lofty And against everyone who is lifted up, That he may be abased.(nasb) Isa 2:12 Quia dies Domini exercituum super omnem superbum, et excelsum, et super omnem arrogantem, et humiliabitur;(vulgate) Isaías 2:12 Porque día de Jehová de los ejércitos [vendrá] sobre todo soberbio y altivo, y sobre todo enaltecido; y será abatido;(E) Ésaïe 2:12 Car il y a un jour pour l'Eternel des armées Contre tout homme orgueilleux et hautain, Contre quiconque s'élève, afin qu'il soit abaissé;(F) Isa 2:12 Denn der Tag des HERRN Zebaoth wird gehen über alles Hoffärtige und Hohe und über alles Erhabene, daß es erniedrigt werde;(D) Isa 2:12 ἡμέρα γὰρ κυρίου σαβαωθ ἐπὶ πάντα ὑβριστὴν καὶ ὑπερήφανον καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα ὑψηλὸν καὶ μετέωρον καὶ ταπεινωθήσονται(lxx) Isa 2:12 For the day of the Lord of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, Upon everything lifted up-- And it shall be brought low--(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:13 ============ Isa 2:13 And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up, Against all the oaks of Bashan,(nasb) Isa 2:13 et super omnes cedros Libani sublimes et erectas, et super omnes quercus Basan,(vulgate) Isaías 2:13 sobre todos los cedros del Líbano altos y erguidos, y sobre todos las encinas de Basán.(E) Ésaïe 2:13 Contre tous les cèdres du Liban, hauts et élevés, Et contre tous les chênes de Basan;(F) Isa 2:13 auch über alle hohen und erhabenen Zedern auf dem Libanon und über alle Eichen in Basan;(D) Isa 2:13 καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν κέδρον τοῦ Λιβάνου τῶν ὑψηλῶν καὶ μετεώρων καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν δένδρον βαλάνου Βασαν(lxx) Isa 2:13 Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up, And upon all the oaks of Bashan;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:14 ============ Isa 2:14 Against all the lofty mountains, Against all the hills that are lifted up,(nasb) Isa 2:14 et super omnes montes excelsos, et super omnes colles elevatos,(vulgate) Isaías 2:14 Y sobre todos los montes altos, y sobre todos los collados levantados;(E) Ésaïe 2:14 Contre toutes les hautes montagnes, Et contre toutes les collines élevées;(F) Isa 2:14 über alle hohen Berge und über alle erhabenen Hügel;(D) Isa 2:14 καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν ὄρος καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα βουνὸν ὑψηλὸν(lxx) Isa 2:14 Upon all the high mountains, And upon all the hills that are lifted up;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:15 ============ Isa 2:15 Against every high tower, Against every fortified wall,(nasb) Isa 2:15 et super omnem turrim excelsam, et super omnem murum munitum,(vulgate) Isaías 2:15 Y sobre toda torre alta, y sobre todo muro fuerte;(E) Ésaïe 2:15 Contre toutes les hautes tours, Et contre toutes les murailles fortifiées;(F) Isa 2:15 über alle hohen Türme und über alle festen Mauern;(D) Isa 2:15 καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα πύργον ὑψηλὸν καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν τεῖχος ὑψηλὸν(lxx) Isa 2:15 Upon every high tower, And upon every fortified wall;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:16 ============ Isa 2:16 Against all the ships of Tarshish And against all the beautiful craft.(nasb) Isa 2:16 et super omnes naves Tharsis, et super omne quod visu pulchrum est,(vulgate) Isaías 2:16 Y sobre todas las naves de Tarsis, y sobre todas las pinturas preciadas.(E) Ésaïe 2:16 Contre tous les navires de Tarsis, Et contre tout ce qui plaît à la vue.(F) Isa 2:16 über alle Schiffe im Meer und über alle köstliche Arbeit:(D) Isa 2:16 καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν πλοῖον θαλάσσης καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν θέαν πλοίων κάλλους(lxx) Isa 2:16 Upon all the ships of Tarshish, And upon all the beautiful sloops.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 2:17 ============ Isa 2:17 The pride of man will be humbled And the loftiness of men will be abased; And the Lord alone will be exalted in that day,(nasb) Isa 2:17 et incurvabitur sublimitas hominum, et humiliabitur altitudo virorum, et elevabitur Dominus solus in die illa;(vulgate) Isaías 2:17 Y la altivez del hombre será abatida, y la soberbia de los hombres será humillada; y sólo Jehová será exaltado en aquel día.(E) Ésaïe 2:17 L'homme orgueilleux sera humilié, Et le hautain sera abaissé: L'Eternel seul sera élevé ce jour-là.(F) Isa 2:17 daß sich bücken muß alle Höhe der Menschen und sich demütigen müssen, die hohe Männer sind, und der HERR allein hoch sei zu der Zeit.(D) Isa 2:17 καὶ ταπεινωθήσεται πᾶς ἄνθρωπος καὶ πεσεῖται ὕψος ἀνθρώπων καὶ ὑψωθήσεται κύριος μόνος ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ(lxx) Isa 2:17 The loftiness of man shall be bowed down, And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low;
