Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 6:1 ============ Isa 6:1 In the year of King Uzziah's death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple.(nasb) Isa 6:1 In anno quo mortuus est rex Ozias, vidi Dominum sedentem super solium excelsum et elevatum; et ea quæ sub ipso erant replebant templum.(vulgate) Isaías 6:1 En el año que murió el rey Uzías vi yo al Señor sentado sobre un trono alto y sublime, y el borde de su vestidura llenaba el templo.(E) Ésaïe 6:1 L'année de la mort du roi Ozias, je vis le Seigneur assis sur un trône très élevé, et les pans de sa robe remplissaient le temple.(F) Isa 6:1 Des Jahres, da der König Usia starb, sah ich den HERRN sitzen auf einem hohen und erhabenen Stuhl, und sein Saum füllte den Tempel.(D) Isa 6:1 καὶ ἐγένετο τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ οὗ ἀπέθανεν Οζιας ὁ βασιλεύς εἶδον τὸν κύριον καθήμενον ἐπὶ θρόνου ὑψηλοῦ καὶ ἐπηρμένου καὶ πλήρης ὁ οἶκος τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ(lxx) Isa 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:2 ============ Isa 6:2 Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.(nasb) Isa 6:2 Seraphim stabant super illud: sex alæ uni, et sex alæ alteri; duabus velabant faciem ejus, et duabus velabant pedes ejus, et duabus volabant.(vulgate) Isaías 6:2 Por encima de él había serafines; cada uno tenía seis alas; con dos cubrían sus rostros, y con dos cubrían sus pies y con dos volaban.(E) Ésaïe 6:2 Des séraphins se tenaient au-dessus de lui; ils avaient chacun six ailes; deux dont ils se couvraient la face, deux dont ils se couvraient les pieds, et deux dont ils se servaient pour voler.(F) Isa 6:2 Seraphim standen über ihm; ein jeglicher hatte sechs Flügel: mit zweien deckten sie ihr Antlitz, mit zweien deckten sie ihre Füße, und mit zweien flogen sie.(D) Isa 6:2 καὶ σεραφιν εἱστήκεισαν κύκλῳ αὐτοῦ ἓξ πτέρυγες τῷ ἑνὶ καὶ ἓξ πτέρυγες τῷ ἑνί καὶ ταῖς μὲν δυσὶν κατεκάλυπτον τὸ πρόσωπον καὶ ταῖς δυσὶν κατεκάλυπτον τοὺς πόδας καὶ ταῖς δυσὶν ἐπέταντο(lxx) Isa 6:2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:3 ============ Isa 6:3 And one called out to another and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory."(nasb) Isa 6:3 Et clamabant alter ad alterum, et dicebant: [Sanctus, sanctus, sanctus Dominus, Deus exercituum; plena est omnis terra gloria ejus.](vulgate) Isaías 6:3 Y el uno al otro daba voces, diciendo: Santo, santo, santo, Jehová de los ejércitos; toda la tierra [está] llena de su gloria.(E) Ésaïe 6:3 Ils criaient l'un à l'autre, et disaient: Saint, saint, saint est l'Eternel des armées! toute la terre est pleine de sa gloire!(F) Isa 6:3 Und einer rief zum andern und sprach: Heilig, heilig, heilig ist der HERR Zebaoth; alle Lande sind seiner Ehre voll!(D) Isa 6:3 καὶ ἐκέκραγον ἕτερος πρὸς τὸν ἕτερον καὶ ἔλεγον ἅγιος ἅγιος ἅγιος κύριος σαβαωθ πλήρης πᾶσα ἡ γῆ τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ(lxx) Isa 6:3 And one cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!"(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:4 ============ Isa 6:4 And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke.(nasb) Isa 6:4 Et commota sunt superliminaria cardinum a voce clamantis, et domus repleta est fumo.(vulgate) Isaías 6:4 Y los quiciales de las puertas se estremecieron con la voz del que clamaba, y la casa se llenó de humo.(E) Ésaïe 6:4 Les portes furent ébranlées dans leurs fondements par la voix qui retentissait, et la maison se remplit de fumée.(F) Isa 6:4 daß die Überschwellen bebten von der Stimme ihres Rufens, und das Haus ward voll Rauch.(D) Isa 6:4 καὶ ἐπήρθη τὸ ὑπέρθυρον ἀπὸ τῆς φωνῆς ἧς ἐκέκραγον καὶ ὁ οἶκος ἐπλήσθη καπνοῦ(lxx) Isa 6:4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:5 ============ Isa 6:5 Then I said, "Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts."(nasb) Isa 6:5 Et dixi: [Væ mihi, quia tacui, quia vir pollutus labiis ego sum, et in medio populi polluta labia habentis ego habito, et regem Dominum exercituum vidi oculis meis.](vulgate) Isaías 6:5 Entonces dije: ¡Ay de mí! que soy muerto; porque siendo hombre inmundo de labios, y habitando en medio de pueblo que tiene labios inmundos, han visto mis ojos al Rey, Jehová de los ejércitos.(E) Ésaïe 6:5 Alors je dis: Malheur à moi! je suis perdu, car je suis un homme dont les lèvres sont impures, j'habite au milieu d'un peuple dont les lèvres sont impures, et mes yeux ont vu le Roi, l'Eternel des armées.(F) Isa 6:5 Da sprach ich: Weh mir, ich vergehe! denn ich bin unreiner Lippen und wohne unter einem Volk von unreinen Lippen; denn ich habe den König, den HERRN Zebaoth, gesehen mit meinen Augen.(D) Isa 6:5 καὶ εἶπα ὦ τάλας ἐγώ ὅτι κατανένυγμαι ὅτι ἄνθρωπος ὢν καὶ ἀκάθαρτα χείλη ἔχων ἐν μέσῳ λαοῦ ἀκάθαρτα χείλη ἔχοντος ἐγὼ οἰκῶ καὶ τὸν βασιλέα κύριον σαβαωθ εἶδον τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς μου(lxx) Isa 6:5 So I said: "Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:6 ============ Isa 6:6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs.(nasb) Isa 6:6 Et volavit ad me unus de seraphim, et in manu ejus calculus, quem forcipe tulerat de altari,(vulgate) Isaías 6:6 Y voló hacia mí uno de los serafines, teniendo en su mano un carbón encendido, tomado del altar con unas tenazas:(E) Ésaïe 6:6 Mais l'un des séraphins vola vers moi, tenant à la main une pierre ardente, qu'il avait prise sur l'autel avec des pincettes.(F) Isa 6:6 Da flog der Seraphim einer zu mir und hatte eine glühende Kohle in der Hand, die er mit der Zange vom Altar nahm,(D) Isa 6:6 καὶ ἀπεστάλη πρός με ἓν τῶν σεραφιν καὶ ἐν τῇ χειρὶ εἶχεν ἄνθρακα ὃν τῇ λαβίδι ἔλαβεν ἀπὸ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου(lxx) Isa 6:6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:7 ============ Isa 6:7 He touched my mouth with it and said, "Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven."(nasb) Isa 6:7 et tetigit os meum, et dixit: [Ecce tetigit hoc labia tua, et auferetur iniquitas tua, et peccatum tuum mundabitur.](vulgate) Isaías 6:7 Y tocando con él sobre mi boca, dijo: He aquí que esto tocó tus labios, y es quitada tu culpa, y limpio tu pecado.(E) Ésaïe 6:7 Il en toucha ma bouche, et dit: Ceci a touché tes lèvres; ton iniquité est enlevée, et ton péché est expié.(F) Isa 6:7 und rührte meinen Mund an und sprach: Siehe, hiermit sind deine Lippen gerührt, daß deine Missetat von dir genommen werde und deine Sünde versöhnt sei.(D) Isa 6:7 καὶ ἥψατο τοῦ στόματός μου καὶ εἶπεν ἰδοὺ ἥψατο τοῦτο τῶν χειλέων σου καὶ ἀφελεῖ τὰς ἀνομίας σου καὶ τὰς ἁμαρτίας σου περικαθαριεῖ(lxx) Isa 6:7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:8 ============ Isa 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!"(nasb) Isa 6:8 Et audivi vocem Domini dicentis: [Quem mittam? et quis ibit nobis?] Et dixi: [Ecce ego, mitte me.](vulgate) Isaías 6:8 Después oí la voz del Señor, que decía: ¿A quién enviaré, y quién irá por nosotros? Entonces respondí yo: Heme aquí, envíame a mí.(E) Ésaïe 6:8 J'entendis la voix du Seigneur, disant: Qui enverrai-je, et qui marchera pour nous? Je répondis: Me voici, envoie-moi.(F) Isa 6:8 Und ich hörte die Stimme des HERRN, daß er sprach: Wen soll ich senden? Wer will unser Bote sein? Ich aber sprach: Hier bin ich; sende mich!(D) Isa 6:8 καὶ ἤκουσα τῆς φωνῆς κυρίου λέγοντος τίνα ἀποστείλω καὶ τίς πορεύσεται πρὸς τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον καὶ εἶπα ἰδού εἰμι ἐγώ ἀπόστειλόν με(lxx) Isa 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:9 ============ Isa 6:9 He said, "Go, and tell this people: 'Keep on listening, but do not perceive; Keep on looking, but do not understand.'(nasb) Isa 6:9 Et dixit: [Vade, et dices populo huic: Audite audientes, et nolite intelligere; et videte visionem, et nolite cognoscere.(vulgate) Isaías 6:9 Y dijo: Anda, y di a este pueblo: Oíd bien, y no entendáis; ved por cierto, mas no comprendáis.(E) Ésaïe 6:9 Il dit alors: Va, et dis à ce peuple: Vous entendrez, et vous ne comprendrez point; Vous verrez, et vous ne saisirez point.(F) Isa 6:9 Und er sprach: Gehe hin und sprich zu diesem Volk: Höret, und verstehet's nicht; sehet, und merket's nicht!(D) Isa 6:9 καὶ εἶπεν πορεύθητι καὶ εἰπὸν τῷ λαῷ τούτῳ ἀκοῇ ἀκούσετε καὶ οὐ μὴ συνῆτε καὶ βλέποντες βλέψετε καὶ οὐ μὴ ἴδητε(lxx) Isa 6:9 And He said, "Go, and tell this people: 'Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.'(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:10 ============ Isa 6:10 "Render the hearts of this people insensitive, Their ears dull, And their eyes dim, Otherwise they might see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their hearts, And return and be healed."(nasb) Isa 6:10 Excæca cor populi hujus, et aures ejus aggrava, et oculos ejus claude: ne forte videat oculis suis, et auribus suis audiat, et corde suo intelligat, et convertatur, et sanem eum.](vulgate) Isaías 6:10 Engruesa el corazón de este pueblo, y agrava sus oídos, y ciega sus ojos; no sea que vea con sus ojos, y oiga con sus oídos, y su corazón entienda, y se convierta y sea sanado.(E) Ésaïe 6:10 Rends insensible le coeur de ce peuple, Endurcis ses oreilles, et bouche-lui les yeux, Pour qu'il ne voie point de ses yeux, n'entende point de ses oreilles, Ne comprenne point de son coeur, Ne se convertisse point et ne soit point guéri.(F) Isa 6:10 Verstocke das Herz dieses Volkes und laß ihre Ohren hart sein und blende ihre Augen, daß sie nicht sehen mit ihren Augen noch hören mit ihren Ohren noch verstehen mit ihrem Herzen und sich bekehren und genesen.(D) Isa 6:10 ἐπαχύνθη γὰρ ἡ καρδία τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου καὶ τοῖς ὠσὶν αὐτῶν βαρέως ἤκουσαν καὶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῶν ἐκάμμυσαν μήποτε ἴδωσιν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς καὶ τοῖς ὠσὶν ἀκούσωσιν καὶ τῇ καρδίᾳ συνῶσιν καὶ ἐπιστρέψωσιν καὶ ἰάσομαι αὐτούς(lxx) Isa 6:10 "Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:11 ============ Isa 6:11 Then I said, "Lord, how long?" And He answered, "Until cities are devastated and without inhabitant, Houses are without people And the land is utterly desolate,(nasb) Isa 6:11 Et dixi: [Usquequo, Domine?] Et dixit: [Donec desolentur civitates absque habitatore, et domus sine homine, et terra relinquetur deserta.(vulgate) Isaías 6:11 Y yo dije: ¿Hasta cuándo, Señor? Y respondió Él: Hasta que las ciudades estén asoladas y sin morador, ni hombre en las casas, y la tierra sea tornada en desierto;(E) Ésaïe 6:11 Je dis: Jusqu'à quand, Seigneur? Et il répondit: Jusqu'à ce que les villes soient dévastées Et privées d'habitants; Jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait personne dans les maisons, Et que le pays soit ravagé par la solitude;(F) Isa 6:11 Ich aber sprach: HERR, wie lange? Er sprach: Bis daß die Städte wüst werden ohne Einwohner und die Häuser ohne Leute und das Feld ganz wüst liege.(D) Isa 6:11 καὶ εἶπα ἕως πότε κύριε καὶ εἶπεν ἕως ἂν ἐρημωθῶσιν πόλεις παρὰ τὸ μὴ κατοικεῖσθαι καὶ οἶκοι παρὰ τὸ μὴ εἶναι ἀνθρώπους καὶ ἡ γῆ καταλειφθήσεται ἔρημος(lxx) Isa 6:11 Then I said, "Lord, how long?" And He answered: "Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, The houses are without a man, The land is utterly desolate,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:12 ============ Isa 6:12 "The Lord has removed men far away, And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.(nasb) Isa 6:12 Et longe faciet Dominus homines, et multiplicabitur quæ derelicta fuerat in medio terræ.(vulgate) Isaías 6:12 Hasta que Jehová haya echado lejos a los hombres, y [sea] grande el abandono en medio de la tierra.(E) Ésaïe 6:12 Jusqu'à ce que l'Eternel ait éloigné les hommes, Et que le pays devienne un immense désert,(F) Isa 6:12 Denn der HERR wird die Leute fern wegtun, daß das Land sehr verlassen wird.(D) Isa 6:12 καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα μακρυνεῖ ὁ θεὸς τοὺς ἀνθρώπους καὶ οἱ καταλειφθέντες πληθυνθήσονται ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς(lxx) Isa 6:12 The Lord has removed men far away, And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 6:13 ============ Isa 6:13 "Yet there will be a tenth portion in it, And it will again be subject to burning, Like a terebinth or an oak Whose stump remains when it is felled. The holy seed is its stump."(nasb) Isa 6:13 Et adhuc in ea decimatio, et convertetur, et erit in ostensionem sicut terebinthus, et sicut quercus quæ expandit ramos suos; semen sanctum erit id quod steterit in ea.](vulgate) Isaías 6:13 Pues aún [quedará] en ella una décima parte, y volverá a ser consumida, como la encina y el roble, de los cuales en la tala queda el tronco, así [será] el tronco de ella la simiente santa.(E) Ésaïe 6:13 Et s'il y reste encore un dixième des habitants, Ils seront à leur tour anéantis. Mais, comme le térébinthe et le chêne Conservent leur tronc quand ils sont abattus, Une sainte postérité renaîtra de ce peuple.(F) Isa 6:13 Und ob der zehnte Teil darin bleibt, so wird es abermals verheert werden, doch wie eine Eiche und Linde, von welchen beim Fällen noch ein Stamm bleibt. Ein heiliger Same wird solcher Stamm sein.(D) Isa 6:13 καὶ ἔτι ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς ἔστιν τὸ ἐπιδέκατον καὶ πάλιν ἔσται εἰς προνομὴν ὡς τερέβινθος καὶ ὡς βάλανος ὅταν ἐκπέσῃ ἀπὸ τῆς θήκης αὐτῆς(lxx) Isa 6:13 But yet a tenth will be in it, And will return and be for consuming, As a terebinth tree or as an oak, Whose stump remains when it is cut down.
