Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 4:1 ============ Isa 4:1 For seven women will take hold of one man in that day, saying, "We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach!"(nasb) Isa 4:1 [Et apprehendent septem mulieres virum unum in die illa, dicentes: Panem nostrum comedemus, et vestimentis nostris operiemur: tantummodo invocetur nomen tuum super nos; aufer opprobrium nostrum.](vulgate) Isaías 4:1 En aquel tiempo siete mujeres echarán mano de un hombre, diciendo: Nosotras comeremos de nuestro pan, y nos vestiremos de nuestras ropas; solamente permítenos ser llamadas por tu nombre, y así quitar nuestro oprobio.(E) Ésaïe 4:1 Et sept femmes saisiront en ce jour un seul homme, et diront: Nous mangerons notre pain, Et nous nous vêtirons de nos habits; Fais-nous seulement porter ton nom! Enlève notre opprobre!(F) Isa 4:1 daß sieben Weiber werden zu der Zeit einen Mann ergreifen und sprechen: Wir wollen uns selbst nähren und kleiden; laß uns nur nach deinen Namen heißen, daß unsre Schmach von uns genommen werde.(D) Isa 4:1 καὶ ἐπιλήμψονται ἑπτὰ γυναῖκες ἀνθρώπου ἑνὸς λέγουσαι τὸν ἄρτον ἡμῶν φαγόμεθα καὶ τὰ ἱμάτια ἡμῶν περιβαλούμεθα πλὴν τὸ ὄνομα τὸ σὸν κεκλήσθω ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς ἄφελε τὸν ὀνειδισμὸν ἡμῶν(lxx) Isa 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, "We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; Only let us be called by your name, To take away our reproach."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 4:2 ============ Isa 4:2 In that day the Branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth will be the pride and the adornment of the survivors of Israel.(nasb) Isa 4:2 [In die illa, erit germen Domini in magnificentia et gloria, et fructus terræ sublimis, et exsultatio his qui salvati fuerint de Israël.(vulgate) Isaías 4:2 En aquel tiempo el renuevo de Jehová será para hermosura y gloria, y el fruto de la tierra para grandeza y honra al remanente de Israel.(E) Ésaïe 4:2 En ce temps-là, le germe de l'Eternel Aura de la magnificence et de la gloire, Et le fruit du pays aura de l'éclat et de la beauté Pour les réchappés d'Israël.(F) Isa 4:2 In der Zeit wird des HERRN Zweig lieb und wert sein und die Frucht der Erde herrlich und schön bei denen, die erhalten werden in Israel.(D) Isa 4:2 τῇ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἐπιλάμψει ὁ θεὸς ἐν βουλῇ μετὰ δόξης ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τοῦ ὑψῶσαι καὶ δοξάσαι τὸ καταλειφθὲν τοῦ Ισραηλ(lxx) Isa 4:2 In that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious; And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and appealing For those of Israel who have escaped.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 4:3 ============ Isa 4:3 It will come about that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy--everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem.(nasb) Isa 4:3 Et erit: omnis qui relictus fuerit in Sion, et residuus in Jerusalem, Sanctus vocabitur, omnis qui scriptus est in vita in Jerusalem.(vulgate) Isaías 4:3 Y acontecerá [que el que] quedare en Sión, y el que fuere dejado en Jerusalén, será llamado santo; todos los que en Jerusalén están escritos entre los vivientes;(E) Ésaïe 4:3 Et les restes de Sion, les restes de Jérusalem, Seront appelés saints, Quiconque à Jérusalem sera inscrit parmi les vivants,(F) Isa 4:3 Und wer da wird übrig sein zu Zion und übrigbleiben zu Jerusalem, der wird heilig heißen, ein jeglicher, der geschrieben ist unter die Lebendigen zu Jerusalem.(D) Isa 4:3 καὶ ἔσται τὸ ὑπολειφθὲν ἐν Σιων καὶ τὸ καταλειφθὲν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἅγιοι κληθήσονται πάντες οἱ γραφέντες εἰς ζωὴν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Isa 4:3 And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy--everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 4:4 ============ Isa 4:4 When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and purged the bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning,(nasb) Isa 4:4 Si abluerit Dominus sordes filiarum Sion, et sanguinem Jerusalem laverit de medio ejus, in spiritu judicii, et spiritu ardoris.(vulgate) Isaías 4:4 cuando el Señor haya lavado las inmundicias de las hijas de Sión, y limpiado la sangre [derramada] en medio de Jerusalén, con espíritu de juicio y con espíritu de fuego.(E) Ésaïe 4:4 Après que le Seigneur aura lavé les ordures des filles de Sion, Et purifié Jérusalem du sang qui est au milieu d'elle, Par le souffle de la justice et par le souffle de la destruction.(F) Isa 4:4 Dann wird der HERR den Unflat der Töchter Zions waschen und die Blutschulden Jerusalems vertreiben von ihr durch den Geist, der richten und ein Feuer anzünden wird.(D) Isa 4:4 ὅτι ἐκπλυνεῖ κύριος τὸν ῥύπον τῶν υἱῶν καὶ τῶν θυγατέρων Σιων καὶ τὸ αἷμα ἐκκαθαριεῖ ἐκ μέσου αὐτῶν ἐν πνεύματι κρίσεως καὶ πνεύματι καύσεως(lxx) Isa 4:4 When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 4:5 ============ Isa 4:5 then the Lord will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.(nasb) Isa 4:5 Et creabit Dominus super omnem locum montis Sion, et ubi invocatus est, nubem per diem et fumum, et splendorem ignis flammantis in nocte: super omnem enim gloriam protectio.(vulgate) Isaías 4:5 Y creará Jehová sobre toda morada del monte de Sión, y sobre los lugares de sus convocaciones, nube y oscuridad de día, y de noche resplandor de fuego que eche llamas; porque sobre toda gloria [habrá] un dosel.(E) Ésaïe 4:5 L'Eternel établira, sur toute l'étendue de la montagne de Sion Et sur ses lieux d'assemblées, Une nuée fumante pendant le jour, Et un feu de flammes éclatantes pendant la nuit; Car tout ce qui est glorieux sera mis à couvert.(F) Isa 4:5 Und der HERR wird schaffen über alle Wohnungen des Berges Zion, und wo man versammelt ist, Wolke und Rauch des Tages, und Feuerglanz, der da brenne, des Nachts. Denn es wird ein Schirm sein über alles, was herrlich ist,(D) Isa 4:5 καὶ ἥξει καὶ ἔσται πᾶς τόπος τοῦ ὄρους Σιων καὶ πάντα τὰ περικύκλῳ αὐτῆς σκιάσει νεφέλη ἡμέρας καὶ ὡς καπνοῦ καὶ ὡς φωτὸς πυρὸς καιομένου νυκτός πάσῃ τῇ δόξῃ σκεπασθήσεται(lxx) Isa 4:5 then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 4:6 ============ Isa 4:6 There will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain.(nasb) Isa 4:6 Et tabernaculum erit in umbraculum, diei ab æstu, et in securitatem et absconsionem a turbine et a pluvia.](vulgate) Isaías 4:6 Y habrá cobertizo para sombra contra el calor del día, y para refugio y escondedero contra la tormenta y contra el aguacero.(E) Ésaïe 4:6 Il y aura un abri pour donner de l'ombre contre la chaleur du jour, Pour servir de refuge et d'asile contre l'orage et la pluie.(F) Isa 4:6 und wird eine Hütte sein zum Schatten des Tages vor der Hitze und eine Zuflucht und Verbergung vor dem Wetter und Regen.(D) Isa 4:6 καὶ ἔσται εἰς σκιὰν ἀπὸ καύματος καὶ ἐν σκέπῃ καὶ ἐν ἀποκρύφῳ ἀπὸ σκληρότητος καὶ ὑετοῦ(lxx) Isa 4:6 And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 5:1 ============ top of the page
