Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 30:1 ============ Isa 30:1 "Woe to the rebellious children," declares the Lord, "Who execute a plan, but not Mine, And make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, In order to add sin to sin;(nasb) Isa 30:1 [Væ filii desertores, dicit Dominus, ut faceretis consilium, et non ex me, et ordiremini telam, et non per spiritum meum, ut adderetis peccatum super peccatum;(vulgate) Isaías 30:1 ¡Ay de los hijos que se apartan, dice Jehová, para tomar consejo, y no de mí; para cobijarse con cubierta, y no de mi Espíritu, añadiendo pecado a pecado!(E) Ésaïe 30:1 Malheur, dit l'Eternel, aux enfants rebelles, Qui prennent des résolutions sans moi, Et qui font des alliances sans ma volonté, Pour accumuler péché sur péché!(F) Isa 30:1 Weh den abtrünnigen Kindern, spricht der HERR, die ohne mich ratschlagen und ohne meinen Geist Schutz suchen, zu Häufen eine Sünde über die andere;(D) Isa 30:1 οὐαὶ τέκνα ἀποστάται τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐποιήσατε βουλὴν οὐ δι᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ συνθήκας οὐ διὰ τοῦ πνεύματός μου προσθεῖναι ἁμαρτίας ἐφ᾽ ἁμαρτίαις(lxx) Isa 30:1 "Woe to the rebellious children," says the Lord, "Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:2 ============ Isa 30:2 Who proceed down to Egypt Without consulting Me, To take refuge in the safety of Pharaoh And to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!(nasb) Isa 30:2 qui ambulatis ut descendatis in Ægyptum, et os meum non interrogastis, sperantes auxilium in fortitudine Pharaonis, et habentes fiduciam in umbra Ægypti!(vulgate) Isaías 30:2 Caminan para descender a Egipto, y no han preguntado de mi boca; para fortalecerse con la fuerza de Faraón, y poner su esperanza en la sombra de Egipto.(E) Ésaïe 30:2 Qui descendent en Egypte sans me consulter, Pour se réfugier sous la protection de Pharaon, Et chercher un abri sous l'ombre de l'Egypte!(F) Isa 30:2 die hinabziehen nach Ägypten und fragen meinen Mund nicht, daß sie sich stärken mit der Macht Pharaos und sich beschirmen unter dem Schatten Ägyptens!(D) Isa 30:2 οἱ πορευόμενοι καταβῆναι εἰς Αἴγυπτον ἐμὲ δὲ οὐκ ἐπηρώτησαν τοῦ βοηθηθῆναι ὑπὸ Φαραω καὶ σκεπασθῆναι ὑπὸ Αἰγυπτίων(lxx) Isa 30:2 Who walk to go down to Egypt, And have not asked My advice, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt!(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:3 ============ Isa 30:3 "Therefore the safety of Pharaoh will be your shame And the shelter in the shadow of Egypt, your humiliation.(nasb) Isa 30:3 Et erit vobis fortitudo Pharaonis in confusionem, et fiducia umbræ Ægypti in ignominiam.(vulgate) Isaías 30:3 Por tanto, la fortaleza de Faraón será vuestra vergüenza, y la confianza en la sombra de Egipto [será vuestra] confusión.(E) Ésaïe 30:3 La protection de Pharaon sera pour vous une honte, Et l'abri sous l'ombre de l'Egypte une ignominie.(F) Isa 30:3 Denn es soll euch die Stärke Pharaos zur Schande geraten und der Schutz unter dem Schatten Ägyptens zum Hohn.(D) Isa 30:3 ἔσται γὰρ ὑμῖν ἡ σκέπη Φαραω εἰς αἰσχύνην καὶ τοῖς πεποιθόσιν ἐπ᾽ Αἴγυπτον ὄνειδος(lxx) Isa 30:3 Therefore the strength of Pharaoh Shall be your shame, And trust in the shadow of Egypt Shall be your humiliation.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:4 ============ Isa 30:4 "For their princes are at Zoan And their ambassadors arrive at Hanes.(nasb) Isa 30:4 Erant enim in Tani principes tui, et nuntii tui usque ad Hanes pervenerunt.(vulgate) Isaías 30:4 Porque sus príncipes estuvieron en Zoán, y sus embajadores vinieron a Hanes,(E) Ésaïe 30:4 Déjà ses princes sont à Tsoan, Et ses envoyés ont atteint Hanès.(F) Isa 30:4 Ihre Fürsten sind wohl zu Zoan gewesen und ihre Botschafter gen Hanes gekommen;(D) Isa 30:4 ὅτι εἰσὶν ἐν Τάνει ἀρχηγοὶ ἄγγελοι πονηροί μάτην κοπιάσουσιν(lxx) Isa 30:4 For his princes were at Zoan, And his ambassadors came to Hanes.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:5 ============ Isa 30:5 "Everyone will be ashamed because of a people who cannot profit them, Who are not for help or profit, but for shame and also for reproach."(nasb) Isa 30:5 Omnes confusi sunt super populo qui eis prodesse non potuit: non fuerunt in auxilium et in aliquam utilitatem, sed in confusionem et in opprobrium.](vulgate) Isaías 30:5 todos se avergonzaron del pueblo que no les aprovecha, ni los socorre, ni les trae provecho; antes les es para vergüenza, y aun para oprobio.(E) Ésaïe 30:5 Tous seront confus au sujet d'un peuple qui ne leur sera point utile, Ni pour les secourir, ni pour les aider, Mais qui fera leur honte et leur opprobre.(F) Isa 30:5 aber sie müssen doch alle zu Schanden werden über dem Volk, das ihnen nicht nütze sein kann, weder zur Hilfe noch sonst zu Nutz, sondern nur zu Schande und Spott.(D) Isa 30:5 πρὸς λαόν ὃς οὐκ ὠφελήσει αὐτοὺς οὔτε εἰς βοήθειαν οὔτε εἰς ὠφέλειαν ἀλλὰ εἰς αἰσχύνην καὶ ὄνειδος(lxx) Isa 30:5 They were all ashamed of a people who could not benefit them, Or be help or benefit, But a shame and also a reproach."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:6 ============ Isa 30:6 The oracle concerning the beasts of the Negev. Through a land of distress and anguish, From where come lioness and lion, viper and flying serpent, They carry their riches on the backs of young donkeys And their treasures on camels' humps, To a people who cannot profit them;(nasb) Isa 30:6 Onus jumentorum austri. [In terra tribulationis et angustiæ leæna, et leo ex eis, vipera et regulus volans; portantes super humeros jumentorum divitias suas, et super gibbum camelorum thesauros suos, ad populum qui eis prodesse non poterit.(vulgate) Isaías 30:6 Carga acerca de las bestias del Neguev: De la tierra de tribulación y angustia, de donde viene el leoncillo y el león, la víbora y la serpiente voladora, llevarán sus riquezas sobre los lomos de sus asnos, y sus tesoros sobre gibas de camellos, a un pueblo que no les será de provecho.(E) Ésaïe 30:6 Sentence des bêtes du midi: A travers une contrée de détresse et d'angoisse, D'où viennent la lionne et le lion, La vipère et le dragon volant, Ils portent à dos d'ânes leurs richesses, Et sur la bosse des chameaux leurs trésors, A un peuple qui ne leur sera point utile.(F) Isa 30:6 Dies ist die Last über die Tiere, so gegen Mittag ziehen, da Löwen und Löwinnen sind, ja Ottern und feurige fliegende Drachen im Lande der Trübsal und Angst. Sie führen ihr Gut auf der Füllen Rücken und ihre Schätze auf der Kamele Höcker zu dem Volk, das ihnen nicht nütze sein kann.(D) Isa 30:6 ἡ ὅρασις τῶν τετραπόδων τῶν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ἐν τῇ θλίψει καὶ τῇ στενοχωρίᾳ λέων καὶ σκύμνος λέοντος ἐκεῖθεν καὶ ἀσπίδες καὶ ἔκγονα ἀσπίδων πετομένων οἳ ἔφερον ἐπ᾽ ὄνων καὶ καμήλων τὸν πλοῦτον αὐτῶν πρὸς ἔθνος ὃ οὐκ ὠφελήσει αὐτοὺς εἰς βοήθειαν ἀλλὰ εἰς αἰσχύνην καὶ ὄνειδος(lxx) Isa 30:6 The burden against the beasts of the South. Through a land of trouble and anguish, From which came the lioness and lion, The viper and fiery flying serpent, They will carry their riches on the backs of young donkeys, And their treasures on the humps of camels, To a people who shall not profit;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:7 ============ Isa 30:7 Even Egypt, whose help is vain and empty. Therefore, I have called her "Rahab who has been exterminated."(nasb) Isa 30:7 Ægyptus enim frustra et vane auxiliabitur. Ideo clamavi super hoc: Superbia tantum est, quiesce.(vulgate) Isaías 30:7 Ciertamente Egipto en vano e inútilmente dará ayuda; por tanto yo dije así: Su fortaleza [será] estarse quietos.(E) Ésaïe 30:7 Car le secours de l'Egypte n'est que vanité et néant; C'est pourquoi j'appelle cela du bruit qui n'aboutit à rien.(F) Isa 30:7 Denn Ägypten ist nichts, und ihr Helfen ist vergeblich. Darum sage ich von Ägypten also: Die Rahab wird still dazu sitzen.(D) Isa 30:7 Αἰγύπτιοι μάταια καὶ κενὰ ὠφελήσουσιν ὑμᾶς ἀπάγγειλον αὐτοῖς ὅτι ματαία ἡ παράκλησις ὑμῶν αὕτη(lxx) Isa 30:7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose. Therefore I have called her Rahab-Hem-Shebeth.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:8 ============ Isa 30:8 Now go, write it on a tablet before them And inscribe it on a scroll, That it may serve in the time to come As a witness forever.(nasb) Isa 30:8 Nunc ergo ingressus, scribe ei super buxum, et in libro diligenter exara illud, et erit in die novissimo in testimonium usque in æternum.(vulgate) Isaías 30:8 Ve, pues, ahora, y escribe esta visión en una tabla delante de ellos, y anótala en un libro, para que quede hasta el día postrero, para siempre por todos los siglos.(E) Ésaïe 30:8 Va maintenant, écris ces choses devant eux sur une table, Et grave-les dans un livre, Afin qu'elles subsistent dans les temps à venir, Eternellement et à perpétuité.(F) Isa 30:8 So gehe nun hin und schreib es ihnen vor auf eine Tafel und zeichne es in ein Buch, daß es bleibe für und für ewiglich.(D) Isa 30:8 νῦν οὖν καθίσας γράψον ἐπὶ πυξίου ταῦτα καὶ εἰς βιβλίον ὅτι ἔσται εἰς ἡμέρας καιρῶν ταῦτα καὶ ἕως εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα(lxx) Isa 30:8 Now go, write it before them on a tablet, And note it on a scroll, That it may be for time to come, Forever and ever:(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:9 ============ Isa 30:9 For this is a rebellious people, false sons, Sons who refuse to listen To the instruction of the Lord;(nasb) Isa 30:9 Populus enim ad iracundiam provocans est: et filii mendaces, filii nolentes audire legem Dei;(vulgate) Isaías 30:9 Que este pueblo [es] rebelde, hijos mentirosos, hijos que no quisieron oír la ley de Jehová;(E) Ésaïe 30:9 Car c'est un peuple rebelle, Ce sont des enfants menteurs, Des enfants qui ne veulent point écouter la loi de l'Eternel,(F) Isa 30:9 Denn es ist ein ungehorsames Volk und verlogene Kinder, die nicht hören wollen des HERRN Gesetz,(D) Isa 30:9 ὅτι λαὸς ἀπειθής ἐστιν υἱοὶ ψευδεῖς οἳ οὐκ ἠβούλοντο ἀκούειν τὸν νόμον τοῦ θεοῦ(lxx) Isa 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the Lord;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:10 ============ Isa 30:10 Who say to the seers, "You must not see visions"; And to the prophets, "You must not prophesy to us what is right, Speak to us pleasant words, Prophesy illusions.(nasb) Isa 30:10 qui dicunt videntibus: Nolite videre, et aspicientibus: Nolite aspicere nobis ea quæ recta sunt; loquimini nobis placentia: videte nobis errores.(vulgate) Isaías 30:10 Que dicen a los videntes: No veáis; y a los profetas: No nos profeticéis lo recto, decidnos cosas halagüeñas, profetizad mentiras;(E) Ésaïe 30:10 Qui disent aux voyants: Ne voyez pas! Et aux prophètes: Ne nous prophétisez pas des vérités, Dites-nous des choses flatteuses, Prophétisez des chimères!(F) Isa 30:10 sondern sagen zu den Sehern: Ihr sollt nichts sehen! und zu den Schauern: Ihr sollt uns nicht schauen die rechte Lehre; prediget uns aber sanft, schauet uns Täuscherei;(D) Isa 30:10 οἱ λέγοντες τοῖς προφήταις μὴ ἀναγγέλλετε ἡμῖν καὶ τοῖς τὰ ὁράματα ὁρῶσιν μὴ λαλεῖτε ἡμῖν ἀλλὰ ἡμῖν λαλεῖτε καὶ ἀναγγέλλετε ἡμῖν ἑτέραν πλάνησιν(lxx) Isa 30:10 Who say to the seers, "Do not see," And to the prophets, "Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:11 ============ Isa 30:11 "Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, Let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel."(nasb) Isa 30:11 Auferte a me viam; declinate a me semitam; cesset a facie nostra Sanctus Israël.(vulgate) Isaías 30:11 dejad el camino, apartaos de la senda, quitad de nuestra presencia al Santo de Israel.(E) Ésaïe 30:11 Détournez-vous du chemin, Ecartez-vous du sentier, Eloignez de notre présence le Saint d'Israël!(F) Isa 30:11 weichet vom Wege, gehet aus der Bahn; lasset den Heiligen Israels aufhören bei uns!(D) Isa 30:11 καὶ ἀποστρέψατε ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ ταύτης ἀφέλετε ἀφ᾽ ἡμῶν τὸν τρίβον τοῦτον καὶ ἀφέλετε ἀφ᾽ ἡμῶν τὸν ἅγιον τοῦ Ισραηλ(lxx) Isa 30:11 Get out of the way, Turn aside from the path, Cause the Holy One of Israel To cease from before us."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:12 ============ Isa 30:12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, "Since you have rejected this word And have put your trust in oppression and guile, and have relied on them,(nasb) Isa 30:12 Propterea hæc dicit Sanctus Israël: Pro eo quod reprobastis verbum hoc, et sperastis in calumnia et in tumultu, et innixi estis super eo;(vulgate) Isaías 30:12 Por tanto, el Santo de Israel dice así: Porque desechasteis esta palabra, y confiasteis en violencia y en iniquidad, y en ello os habéis apoyado;(E) Ésaïe 30:12 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Saint d'Israël: Puisque vous rejetez cette parole, Que vous vous confiez dans la violence et dans les détours Et que vous les prenez pour appuis,(F) Isa 30:12 Darum spricht der Heilige Israels also: Weil ihr dies Wort verwerft und verlaßt euch auf Frevel und Mutwillen und trotzt darauf,(D) Isa 30:12 διὰ τοῦτο οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ ἅγιος τοῦ Ισραηλ ὅτι ἠπειθήσατε τοῖς λόγοις τούτοις καὶ ἠλπίσατε ἐπὶ ψεύδει καὶ ὅτι ἐγόγγυσας καὶ πεποιθὼς ἐγένου ἐπὶ τῷ λόγῳ τούτῳ(lxx) Isa 30:12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel: "Because you despise this word, And trust in oppression and perversity, And rely on them,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:13 ============ Isa 30:13 Therefore this iniquity will be to you Like a breach about to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose collapse comes suddenly in an instant,(nasb) Isa 30:13 propterea erit vobis iniquitas hæc sicut interruptio cadens, et requisita in muro excelso, quoniam subito, dum non speratur, veniet contritio ejus.(vulgate) Isaías 30:13 por tanto, os será este pecado como pared agrietada a punto de caer, y como grieta en muro alto, cuya caída viene súbita y repentinamente.(E) Ésaïe 30:13 Ce crime sera pour vous Comme une partie crevassée qui menace ruine Et fait saillie dans un mur élevé, Dont l'écroulement arrive tout à coup, en un instant:(F) Isa 30:13 so soll euch solche Untugend sein wie ein Riß an einer hohen Mauer, wenn es beginnt zu rieseln, die plötzlich unversehens einfällt und zerschmettert,(D) Isa 30:13 διὰ τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ ἁμαρτία αὕτη ὡς τεῖχος πῖπτον παραχρῆμα πόλεως ὀχυρᾶς ἑαλωκυίας ἧς παραχρῆμα πάρεστιν τὸ πτῶμα(lxx) Isa 30:13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you Like a breach ready to fall, A bulge in a high wall, Whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:14 ============ Isa 30:14 Whose collapse is like the smashing of a potter's jar, So ruthlessly shattered That a sherd will not be found among its pieces To take fire from a hearth Or to scoop water from a cistern."(nasb) Isa 30:14 Et comminuetur sicut conteritur lagena figuli contritione pervalida, et non invenietur de fragmentis ejus testa in qua portetur igniculus de incendio, aut hauriatur parum aquæ de fovea.(vulgate) Isaías 30:14 Y lo quebrará como se quiebra un vaso de alfarero, que sin misericordia lo hacen pedazos; tanto, que entre los pedazos no se halla tiesto para traer fuego del hogar, o para sacar agua del pozo.(E) Ésaïe 30:14 Il se brise comme se brise un vase de terre, Que l'on casse sans ménagement, Et dont les débris ne laissent pas un morceau Pour prendre du feu au foyer, Ou pour puiser de l'eau à la citerne.(F) Isa 30:14 wie wenn ein Topf zerschmettert würde, den man zerstößt und nicht schont, also daß man von seinen Stücken nicht eine Scherbe findet, darin man Feuer hole vom Herd oder Wasser schöpfe aus einem Brunnen.(D) Isa 30:14 καὶ τὸ πτῶμα αὐτῆς ἔσται ὡς σύντριμμα ἀγγείου ὀστρακίνου ἐκ κεραμίου λεπτὰ ὥστε μὴ εὑρεῖν ἐν αὐτοῖς ὄστρακον ἐν ᾧ πῦρ ἀρεῖς καὶ ἐν ᾧ ἀποσυριεῖς ὕδωρ μικρόν(lxx) Isa 30:14 And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter's vessel, Which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare. So there shall not be found among its fragments A shard to take fire from the hearth, Or to take water from the cistern."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:15 ============ Isa 30:15 For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said, "In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength." But you were not willing,(nasb) Isa 30:15 Quia hæc dicit Dominus Deus, Sanctus Israël: Si revertamini et quiescatis, salvi eritis; in silentio et in spe erit fortitudo vestra. Et noluistis,(vulgate) Isaías 30:15 Porque así dice Jehová el Señor, el Santo de Israel: En descanso y en reposo seréis salvos; en quietud y en confianza será vuestra fortaleza. Y no quisisteis,(E) Ésaïe 30:15 Car ainsi a parlé le Seigneur, l'Eternel, le Saint d'Israël: C'est dans la tranquillité et le repos que sera votre salut, C'est dans le calme et la confiance que sera votre force. Mais vous ne l'avez pas voulu!(F) Isa 30:15 Denn so spricht der HERR HERR, der Heilige in Israel: Wenn ihr umkehrtet und stillebliebet, so würde euch geholfen; durch Stillesein und Hoffen würdet ihr stark sein. Aber ihr wollt nicht(D) Isa 30:15 οὕτω λέγει κύριος ὁ ἅγιος τοῦ Ισραηλ ὅταν ἀποστραφεὶς στενάξῃς τότε σωθήσῃ καὶ γνώσῃ ποῦ ἦσθα ὅτε ἐπεποίθεις ἐπὶ τοῖς ματαίοις ματαία ἡ ἰσχὺς ὑμῶν ἐγενήθη καὶ οὐκ ἠβούλεσθε ἀκούειν(lxx) Isa 30:15 For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength." But you would not,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 30:16 ============ Isa 30:16 And you said, "No, for we will flee on horses," Therefore you shall flee! "And we will ride on swift horses," Therefore those who pursue you shall be swift.(nasb) Isa 30:16 et dixistis: Nequaquam, sed ad equos fugiemus: ideo fugietis; et: Super veloces ascendemus: ideo velociores erunt qui persequentur vos.(vulgate) Isaías 30:16 sino que dijisteis: No, antes huiremos en caballos; por tanto, vosotros huiréis. Sobre ligeros [corceles] cabalgaremos; por tanto, serán ligeros vuestros perseguidores.(E) Ésaïe 30:16 Vous avez dit: Non! nous prendrons la course à cheval! -C'est pourquoi vous fuirez à la course. -Nous monterons des coursiers légers! -C'est pourquoi ceux qui vous poursuivront seront légers.(F) Isa 30:16 und sprecht: "Nein, sondern auf Rossen wollen wir fliehen", darum werdet ihr flüchtig sein, "und auf Rennern wollen wir reiten", darum werden euch eure Verfolger übereilen.(D) Isa 30:16 ἀλλ᾽ εἴπατε ἐφ᾽ ἵππων φευξόμεθα διὰ τοῦτο φεύξεσθε καὶ εἴπατε ἐπὶ κούφοις ἀναβάται ἐσόμεθα διὰ τοῦτο κοῦφοι ἔσονται οἱ διώκοντες ὑμᾶς(lxx) Isa 30:16 And you said, "No, for we will flee on horses"-- Therefore you shall flee!
