Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 42:1 ============ Isa 42:1 "Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations.(nasb) Isa 42:1 [Ecce servus meus, suscipiam eum; electus meus, complacuit sibi in illo anima mea: dedi spiritum meum super eum: judicium gentibus proferet.(vulgate) Isaías 42:1 He aquí mi siervo, yo le sostendré; mi escogido [en quien] mi alma tiene contentamiento. He puesto sobre Él mi Espíritu, Él traerá juicio a las naciones.(E) Ésaïe 42:1 Voici mon serviteur, que je soutiendrai, Mon élu, en qui mon âme prend plaisir. J'ai mis mon esprit sur lui; Il annoncera la justice aux nations.(F) Isa 42:1 Siehe, das ist mein Knecht, ich erhalte ihn, und mein Auserwählter, an welchem meine Seele Wohlgefallen hat. Ich habe ihm meinen Geist gegeben; er wird das Recht unter die Heiden bringen.(D) Isa 42:1 Ιακωβ ὁ παῖς μου ἀντιλήμψομαι αὐτοῦ Ισραηλ ὁ ἐκλεκτός μου προσεδέξατο αὐτὸν ἡ ψυχή μου ἔδωκα τὸ πνεῦμά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν κρίσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἐξοίσει(lxx) Isa 42:1 "Behold! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:2 ============ Isa 42:2 "He will not cry out or raise His voice, Nor make His voice heard in the street.(nasb) Isa 42:2 Non clamabit, neque accipiet personam, nec audietur vox ejus foris.(vulgate) Isaías 42:2 No gritará, ni alzará su voz, ni la hará oír en las plazas.(E) Ésaïe 42:2 Il ne criera point, il n'élèvera point la voix, Et ne la fera point entendre dans les rues.(F) Isa 42:2 Er wird nicht schreien noch rufen, und seine Stimme wird man nicht hören auf den Gassen.(D) Isa 42:2 οὐ κεκράξεται οὐδὲ ἀνήσει οὐδὲ ἀκουσθήσεται ἔξω ἡ φωνὴ αὐτοῦ(lxx) Isa 42:2 He will not cry out, nor raise His voice, Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:3 ============ Isa 42:3 "A bruised reed He will not break And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish; He will faithfully bring forth justice.(nasb) Isa 42:3 Calamum quassatum non conteret, et linum fumigans non extinguet: in veritate educet judicium.(vulgate) Isaías 42:3 No quebrará la caña cascada, ni apagará el pábilo que humeare; sacará el juicio a verdad.(E) Ésaïe 42:3 Il ne brisera point le roseau cassé, Et il n'éteindra point la mèche qui brûle encore; Il annoncera la justice selon la vérité.(F) Isa 42:3 Das zerstoßene Rohr wird er nicht zerbrechen, und den glimmenden Docht wird er nicht auslöschen. Er wird das Recht wahrhaftig halten lehren.(D) Isa 42:3 κάλαμον τεθλασμένον οὐ συντρίψει καὶ λίνον καπνιζόμενον οὐ σβέσει ἀλλὰ εἰς ἀλήθειαν ἐξοίσει κρίσιν(lxx) Isa 42:3 A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth justice for truth.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:4 ============ Isa 42:4 "He will not be disheartened or crushed Until He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands will wait expectantly for His law."(nasb) Isa 42:4 Non erit tristis, neque turbulentus, donec ponat in terra judicium; et legem ejus insulæ exspectabunt.(vulgate) Isaías 42:4 No se cansará, ni desmayará, hasta que haya establecido juicio en la tierra; y las islas esperarán su ley.(E) Ésaïe 42:4 Il ne se découragera point et ne se relâchera point, Jusqu'à ce qu'il ait établi la justice sur la terre, Et que les îles espèrent en sa loi.(F) Isa 42:4 Er wird nicht matt werden noch verzagen, bis daß er auf Erden das Recht anrichte; und die Inseln werden auf sein Gesetz warten.(D) Isa 42:4 ἀναλάμψει καὶ οὐ θραυσθήσεται ἕως ἂν θῇ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς κρίσιν καὶ ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ ἔθνη ἐλπιοῦσιν(lxx) Isa 42:4 He will not fail nor be discouraged, Till He has established justice in the earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His law."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:5 ============ Isa 42:5 Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and its offspring, Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it,(nasb) Isa 42:5 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus, creans cælos, et extendens eos; formans terram, et quæ germinant ex ea; dans flatum populo qui est super eam, et spiritum calcantibus eam:(vulgate) Isaías 42:5 Así dice Jehová Dios, el Creador de los cielos, y el que los despliega; el que extiende la tierra y sus frutos; el que da respiración al pueblo que mora sobre ella, y espíritu a los que por ella andan.(E) Ésaïe 42:5 Ainsi parle Dieu, l'Eternel, Qui a créé les cieux et qui les a déployés, Qui a étendu la terre et ses productions, Qui a donné la respiration à ceux qui la peuplent, Et le souffle à ceux qui y marchent.(F) Isa 42:5 So spricht Gott, der HERR, der die Himmel schafft und ausbreitet, der die Erde macht und ihr Gewächs, der dem Volk, so darauf ist, den Odem gibt, und den Geist denen, die darauf gehen:(D) Isa 42:5 οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ποιήσας τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ πήξας αὐτόν ὁ στερεώσας τὴν γῆν καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ διδοὺς πνοὴν τῷ λαῷ τῷ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ πνεῦμα τοῖς πατοῦσιν αὐτήν(lxx) Isa 42:5 Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it, And spirit to those who walk on it:(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:6 ============ Isa 42:6 "I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations,(nasb) Isa 42:6 Ego Dominus vocavi te in justitia, et apprehendi manum tuam, et servavi te: et dedi te in fœdus populi, in lucem gentium,(vulgate) Isaías 42:6 Yo Jehová te he llamado en justicia, y sostendré tu mano; te guardaré y te pondré por pacto del pueblo, por luz de los gentiles;(E) Ésaïe 42:6 Moi, l'Eternel, je t'ai appelé pour le salut, Et je te prendrai par la main, Je te garderai, et je t'établirai pour traiter alliance avec le peuple, Pour être la lumière des nations,(F) Isa 42:6 Ich der HERR habe dich gerufen in Gerechtigkeit und habe dich bei deiner Hand gefaßt und habe dich behütet und habe dich zum Bund unter das Volk gegeben, zum Licht der Heiden,(D) Isa 42:6 ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἐκάλεσά σε ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ κρατήσω τῆς χειρός σου καὶ ἐνισχύσω σε καὶ ἔδωκά σε εἰς διαθήκην γένους εἰς φῶς ἐθνῶν(lxx) Isa 42:6 "I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:7 ============ Isa 42:7 To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.(nasb) Isa 42:7 ut aperires oculos cæcorum, et educeres de conclusione vinctum, de domo carceris sedentes in tenebris.(vulgate) Isaías 42:7 para que abras los ojos de los ciegos, para que saques de la cárcel a los presos, y de casas de prisión a los que moran en tinieblas.(E) Ésaïe 42:7 Pour ouvrir les yeux des aveugles, Pour faire sortir de prison le captif, Et de leur cachot ceux qui habitent dans les ténèbres.(F) Isa 42:7 daß du sollst öffnen die Augen der Blinden und die Gefangenen aus dem Gefängnis führen, und die da sitzen in der Finsternis, aus dem Kerker.(D) Isa 42:7 ἀνοῖξαι ὀφθαλμοὺς τυφλῶν ἐξαγαγεῖν ἐκ δεσμῶν δεδεμένους καὶ ἐξ οἴκου φυλακῆς καθημένους ἐν σκότει(lxx) Isa 42:7 To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:8 ============ Isa 42:8 "I am the Lord, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.(nasb) Isa 42:8 Ego Dominus, hoc est nomen meum; gloriam meam alteri non dabo, et laudem meam sculptilibus.(vulgate) Isaías 42:8 Yo Jehová; éste [es] mi nombre; y a otro no daré mi gloria, ni mi alabanza a esculturas.(E) Ésaïe 42:8 Je suis l'Eternel, c'est là mon nom; Et je ne donnerai pas ma gloire à un autre, Ni mon honneur aux idoles.(F) Isa 42:8 Ich, der HERR, das ist mein Name; und will meine Ehre keinem andern geben noch meinen Ruhm den Götzen.(D) Isa 42:8 ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεός τοῦτό μού ἐστιν τὸ ὄνομα τὴν δόξαν μου ἑτέρῳ οὐ δώσω οὐδὲ τὰς ἀρετάς μου τοῖς γλυπτοῖς(lxx) Isa 42:8 I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:9 ============ Isa 42:9 "Behold, the former things have come to pass, Now I declare new things; Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you."(nasb) Isa 42:9 Quæ prima fuerunt, ecce venerunt; nova quoque ego annuntio: antequam oriantur, audita vobis faciam.]~(vulgate) Isaías 42:9 Las cosas primeras he aquí vinieron, y yo anuncio cosas nuevas; antes que salgan a luz, yo os las haré notorias.(E) Ésaïe 42:9 Voici, les premières choses se sont accomplies, Et je vous en annonce de nouvelles; Avant qu'elles arrivent, je vous les prédis.(F) Isa 42:9 Siehe, was ich zuvor habe verkündigt, ist gekommen; so verkündige ich auch Neues; ehe denn es aufgeht, lasse ich's euch hören.(D) Isa 42:9 τὰ ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς ἰδοὺ ἥκασιν καὶ καινὰ ἃ ἐγὼ ἀναγγελῶ καὶ πρὸ τοῦ ἀνατεῖλαι ἐδηλώθη ὑμῖν(lxx) Isa 42:9 Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:10 ============ Isa 42:10 Sing to the Lord a new song, Sing His praise from the end of the earth! You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it. You islands, and those who dwell on them.(nasb) Isa 42:10 [Cantate Domino canticum novum, laus ejus ab extremis terræ, qui descenditis in mare, et plenitudo ejus; insulæ, et habitatores earum.(vulgate) Isaías 42:10 Cantad a Jehová un cántico nuevo, su alabanza desde los confines de la tierra; los que descendéis al mar y cuanto hay en él, las islas y los moradores de ellas.(E) Ésaïe 42:10 Chantez à l'Eternel un cantique nouveau, Chantez ses louanges aux extrémités de la terre, Vous qui voguez sur la mer et vous qui la peuplez, Iles et habitants des îles!(F) Isa 42:10 Singet dem HERRN ein neues Lied, seinen Ruhm an der Welt Ende, die auf dem Meer fahren und was darinnen ist, die Inseln und die darin wohnen!(D) Isa 42:10 ὑμνήσατε τῷ κυρίῳ ὕμνον καινόν ἡ ἀρχὴ αὐτοῦ δοξάζετε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἀπ᾽ ἄκρου τῆς γῆς οἱ καταβαίνοντες εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ πλέοντες αὐτήν αἱ νῆσοι καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες αὐτάς(lxx) Isa 42:10 Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise from the ends of the earth, You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, You coastlands and you inhabitants of them!(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:11 ============ Isa 42:11 Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voices, The settlements where Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing aloud, Let them shout for joy from the tops of the mountains.(nasb) Isa 42:11 Sublevetur desertum et civitates ejus. In domibus habitabit Cedar: laudate, habitatores petræ; de vertice montium clamabunt.(vulgate) Isaías 42:11 Alcen [la voz] el desierto y sus ciudades, las aldeas donde habita Cedar; canten los moradores de la roca, y desde la cumbre de los montes den voces de júbilo.(E) Ésaïe 42:11 Que le désert et ses villes élèvent la voix! Que les villages occupés par Kédar élèvent la voix! Que les habitants des rochers tressaillent d'allégresse! Que du sommet des montagnes retentissent des cris de joie!(F) Isa 42:11 Rufet laut, ihr Wüsten und die Städte darin samt den Dörfern, da Kedar wohnt; es sollen jauchzen, die in den Felsen wohnen, und rufen von den Höhen der Berge!(D) Isa 42:11 εὐφράνθητι ἔρημος καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς ἐπαύλεις καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες Κηδαρ εὐφρανθήσονται οἱ κατοικοῦντες Πέτραν ἀπ᾽ ἄκρων τῶν ὀρέων βοήσουσιν(lxx) Isa 42:11 Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, The villages that Kedar inhabits. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against His enemies.(nasb) Isa 42:13 Dominus sicut fortis egredietur, sicut vir præliator suscitabit zelum; vociferabitur, et clamabit: super inimicos suos confortabitur.]~(vulgate) Isaías 42:13 Jehová saldrá como gigante, y como hombre de guerra despertará celo; gritará, voceará, se esforzará sobre sus enemigos.(E) Ésaïe 42:13 L'Eternel s'avance comme un héros, Il excite son ardeur comme un homme de guerre; Il élève la voix, il jette des cris, Il manifeste sa force contre ses ennemis.(F) Isa 42:13 Der HERR wird ausziehen wie ein Riese; er wird den Eifer aufwecken wie ein Kriegsmann; er wird jauchzen und tönen; er wird seinen Feinden obliegen.(D) Isa 42:13 κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν δυνάμεων ἐξελεύσεται καὶ συντρίψει πόλεμον ἐπεγερεῖ ζῆλον καὶ βοήσεται ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθροὺς αὐτοῦ μετὰ ἰσχύος(lxx) Isa 42:13 The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:14 ============ Isa 42:14 "I have kept silent for a long time, I have kept still and restrained Myself. Now like a woman in labor I will groan, I will both gasp and pant.(nasb) Isa 42:14 [Tacui semper, silui, patiens fui: sicut parturiens loquar; dissipabo, et absorbebo simul.(vulgate) Isaías 42:14 Desde el siglo he callado, he guardado silencio, y me he detenido; [ahora] daré voces como la mujer que está de parto; asolaré y devoraré juntamente.(E) Ésaïe 42:14 J'ai longtemps gardé le silence, je me suis tu, je me suis contenu; Je crierai comme une femme en travail, Je serai haletant et je soufflerai tout à la fois.(F) Isa 42:14 Ich schweige wohl eine Zeitlang und bin still und halte an mich; nun aber will wie eine Gebärerin schreien; ich will sie verwüsten und alle verschlingen.(D) Isa 42:14 ἐσιώπησα μὴ καὶ ἀεὶ σιωπήσομαι καὶ ἀνέξομαι ἐκαρτέρησα ὡς ἡ τίκτουσα ἐκστήσω καὶ ξηρανῶ ἅμα(lxx) Isa 42:14 "I have held My peace a long time, I have been still and restrained Myself. Now I will cry like a woman in labor, I will pant and gasp at once.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:15 ============ Isa 42:15 "I will lay waste the mountains and hills And wither all their vegetation; I will make the rivers into coastlands And dry up the ponds.(nasb) Isa 42:15 Desertos faciam montes et colles, et omne gramen eorum exsiccabo; et ponam flumina in insulas, et stagna arefaciam.(vulgate) Isaías 42:15 Tornaré en soledad montes y collados, haré secar toda su hierba; los ríos tornaré en islas, y secaré los estanques.(E) Ésaïe 42:15 Je ravagerai montagnes et collines, Et j'en dessécherai toute la verdure; Je changerai les fleuves en terre ferme, Et je mettrai les étangs à sec.(F) Isa 42:15 Ich will Berge und Hügel verwüsten und all ihr Gras verdorren und will die Wasserströme zu Inseln machen und die Seen austrocknen.(D) Isa 42:15 καὶ θήσω ποταμοὺς εἰς νήσους καὶ ἕλη ξηρανῶ(lxx) Isa 42:15 I will lay waste the mountains and hills, And dry up all their vegetation; I will make the rivers coastlands, And I will dry up the pools.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:16 ============ Isa 42:16 "I will lead the blind by a way they do not know, In paths they do not know I will guide them. I will make darkness into light before them And rugged places into plains. These are the things I will do, And I will not leave them undone."(nasb) Isa 42:16 Et ducam cæcos in viam quam nesciunt, et in semitis quas ignoraverunt ambulare eos faciam; ponam tenebras coram eis in lucem, et prava in recta; hæc verba feci eis, et non dereliqui eos.(vulgate) Isaías 42:16 Y guiaré a los ciegos por camino que no sabían, les haré pisar por las sendas que no habían conocido; delante de ellos tornaré las tinieblas en luz, y lo escabroso en llanura. Estas cosas les haré, y no los desampararé.(E) Ésaïe 42:16 Je ferai marcher les aveugles sur un chemin qu'ils ne connaissent pas, Je les conduirai par des sentiers qu'ils ignorent; Je changerai devant eux les ténèbres en lumière, Et les endroits tortueux en plaine: Voilà ce que je ferai, et je ne les abandonnerai point.(F) Isa 42:16 Aber die Blinden will ich auf dem Wege leiten, den sie nicht wissen; ich will sie führen auf den Steigen, die sie nicht kennen; ich will die Finsternis vor ihnen her zum Licht machen und das Höckerichte zur Ebene. Solches will ich ihnen alles tun und sie nicht verlassen.(D) Isa 42:16 καὶ ἄξω τυφλοὺς ἐν ὁδῷ ᾗ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν καὶ τρίβους οὓς οὐκ ᾔδεισαν πατῆσαι ποιήσω αὐτούς ποιήσω αὐτοῖς τὸ σκότος εἰς φῶς καὶ τὰ σκολιὰ εἰς εὐθεῖαν ταῦτα τὰ ῥήματα ποιήσω καὶ οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψω αὐτούς(lxx) Isa 42:16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:17 ============ Isa 42:17 They will be turned back and be utterly put to shame, Who trust in idols, Who say to molten images, "You are our gods."(nasb) Isa 42:17 Conversi sunt retrorsum, confundantur confusione, qui confidunt in sculptili; qui dicunt conflatili: Vos dii nostri.(vulgate) Isaías 42:17 Serán vueltos atrás, y en extremo confundidos, los que confían en los ídolos, y dicen a las imágenes de fundición: Vosotros [sois] nuestros dioses.(E) Ésaïe 42:17 Ils reculeront, ils seront confus, Ceux qui se confient aux idoles taillées, Ceux qui disent aux idoles de fonte: Vous êtes nos dieux!(F) Isa 42:17 Aber die sich auf Götzen verlassen und sprechen zum gegossenen Bilde: Ihr seid unsre Götter! die sollen zurückkehren und zu Schanden werden.(D) Isa 42:17 αὐτοὶ δὲ ἀπεστράφησαν εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω αἰσχύνθητε αἰσχύνην οἱ πεποιθότες ἐπὶ τοῖς γλυπτοῖς οἱ λέγοντες τοῖς χωνευτοῖς ὑμεῖς ἐστε θεοὶ ἡμῶν(lxx) Isa 42:17 They shall be turned back, They shall be greatly ashamed, Who trust in carved images, Who say to the molded images, 'You are our gods.'(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:18 ============ Isa 42:18 Hear, you deaf! And look, you blind, that you may see.(nasb) Isa 42:18 Surdi, audite, et cæci, intuemini ad videndum.(vulgate) Isaías 42:18 Sordos, oíd; y vosotros ciegos, mirad para ver.(E) Ésaïe 42:18 Sourds, écoutez! Who is so blind as he that is at peace with Me, Or so blind as the servant of the Lord?(nasb) Isa 42:19 Quis cæcus, nisi servus meus; et surdus, nisi ad quem nuntios meos misi? quis cæcus, nisi qui venundatus est? et quis cæcus, nisi servus Domini?(vulgate) Isaías 42:19 ¿Quién [es] ciego, sino mi siervo? ¿Quién [es] sordo, como mi mensajero que envié? ¿Quién [es] ciego como el perfecto, y ciego como el siervo de Jehová,(E) Ésaïe 42:19 Qui est aveugle, sinon mon serviteur, Et sourd comme mon messager que j'envoie? Qui est aveugle, comme l'ami de Dieu, Aveugle comme le serviteur de l'Eternel?(F) Isa 42:19 Wer ist so blind wie mein Knecht, und wer ist so taub wie mein Bote, den ich sende? On les a tous enchaînés dans des cavernes, Plongés dans des cachots; Ils ont été mis au pillage, et personne qui les délivre! Dépouillés, et personne qui dise: Restitue!(F) Isa 42:22 Aber es ist ein beraubtes und geplündertes Volk; sie sind allzumal verstrickt in Höhlen und versteckt in Kerkern; sie sind zum Raube geworden, und ist kein Erretter da; geplündert, und ist niemand, der da sage: Gib wieder her!(D) Isa 42:22 καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ λαὸς πεπρονομευμένος καὶ διηρπασμένος ἡ γὰρ παγὶς ἐν τοῖς ταμιείοις πανταχοῦ καὶ ἐν οἴκοις ἅμα ὅπου ἔκρυψαν αὐτούς ἐγένοντο εἰς προνομήν καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ ἐξαιρούμενος ἅρπαγμα καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὁ λέγων ἀπόδος(lxx) Isa 42:22 But this is a people robbed and plundered; All of them are snared in holes, And they are hidden in prison houses; They are for prey, and no one delivers; For plunder, and no one says, "Restore!"(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:23 ============ Isa 42:23 Who among you will give ear to this? Qui voudra s'y rendre attentif et écouter à l'avenir?(F) Isa 42:23 Wer ist unter euch, der solches zu Ohren nehme, der aufmerke und höre, was hernach kommt?(D) Isa 42:23 τίς ἐν ὑμῖν ὃς ἐνωτιεῖται ταῦτα εἰσακούσεται εἰς τὰ ἐπερχόμενα(lxx) Isa 42:23 Who among you will give ear to this? Who will listen and hear for the time to come?(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 42:24 ============ Isa 42:24 Who gave Jacob up for spoil, and Israel to plunderers? Was it not the Lord, against whom we have sinned, And in whose ways they were not willing to walk, And whose law they did not obey?(nasb) Isa 42:24 Quis dedit in direptionem Jacob, et Israël vastantibus? nonne Dominus ipse, cui peccavimus? Et noluerunt in viis ejus ambulare, et non audierunt legem ejus.(vulgate) Isaías 42:24 ¿Quién dio a Jacob por despojo, y entregó a Israel a saqueadores? ¿No fue Jehová, contra quien pecamos? Pero no quisieron andar en sus caminos, ni obedecieron su ley.(E) Ésaïe 42:24 Qui a livré Jacob au pillage, Et Israël aux pillards? N'est-ce pas l'Eternel? Nous avons péché contre lui. Ils n'ont point voulu marcher dans ses voies, Et ils n'ont point écouté sa loi.(F) Isa 42:24 Wer hat Jakob übergeben zu plündern und Israel den Räubern? Hat's nicht der HERR getan, an dem wir gesündigt haben, und sie wollten auf seinen Wegen nicht wandeln und gehorchten seinem Gesetz nicht?(D) Isa 42:24 τίς ἔδωκεν εἰς διαρπαγὴν Ιακωβ καὶ Ισραηλ τοῖς προνομεύουσιν αὐτόν οὐχὶ ὁ θεός ᾧ ἡμάρτοσαν αὐτῷ καὶ οὐκ ἐβούλοντο ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ πορεύεσθαι οὐδὲ ἀκούειν τοῦ νόμου αὐτοῦ(lxx) Isa 42:24 Who gave Jacob for plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Was it not the Lord, He against whom we have sinned?
