Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 39:1 ============ Isa 39:1 At that time Merodach-baladan son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that he had been sick and had recovered.(nasb) Isa 39:1 In tempore illo misit Merodach Baladan, filius Baladan, rex Babylonis, libros et munera ad Ezechiam: audierat enim quod ægrotasset et convaluisset.(vulgate) Isaías 39:1 En aquel tiempo Merodac-baladán, hijo de Baladán, rey de Babilonia, envió cartas y presentes a Ezequías; porque había oído que había estado enfermo, y que había convalecido.(E) Ésaïe 39:1 En ce même temps, Merodac-Baladan, fils de Baladan, roi de Babylone, envoya une lettre et un présent à Ezéchias, parce qu'il avait appris sa maladie et son rétablissement.(F) Isa 39:1 Zu der Zeit sandte Merodach-Baladan, der Sohn Baladans, König zu Babel, Briefe und Geschenke an Hiskia; denn er hatte gehört, daß er krank gewesen und wieder stark geworden wäre.(D) Isa 39:1 ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ ἀπέστειλεν Μαρωδαχ υἱὸς τοῦ Λααδαν ὁ βασιλεὺς τῆς Βαβυλωνίας ἐπιστολὰς καὶ πρέσβεις καὶ δῶρα Εζεκια ἤκουσεν γὰρ ὅτι ἐμαλακίσθη ἕως θανάτου καὶ ἀνέστη(lxx) Isa 39:1 At that time Merodach-Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that he had been sick and had recovered.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:2 ============ Isa 39:2 Hezekiah was pleased, and showed them all his treasure house, the silver and the gold and the spices and the precious oil and his whole armory and all that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his house nor in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.(nasb) Isa 39:2 Lætatus est autem super eis Ezechias, et ostendit eis cellam aromatum, et argenti, et auri, et odoramentorum, et unguenti optimi, et omnes apothecas supellectilis suæ, et universa quæ inventa sunt in thesauris ejus. Non fuit verbum quod non ostenderet eis Ezechias in domo sua, et in omni potestate sua.(vulgate) Isaías 39:2 Y se regocijó con ellos Ezequías, y les enseñó la casa de su tesoro, plata y oro, y especias, y ungüentos preciosos, y toda su casa de armas, y todo lo que se pudo hallar en sus tesoros; no hubo cosa en su casa y en todo su señorío, que Ezequías no les mostrase.(E) Ésaïe 39:2 Ezéchias en eut de la joie, et il montra aux envoyés le lieu où étaient ses choses de prix, l'argent et l'or, les aromates et l'huile précieuse, tout son arsenal, et tout ce qui se trouvait dans ses trésors: il n'y eut rien qu'Ezéchias ne leur fît voir dans sa maison et dans tous ses domaines.(F) Isa 39:2 Des freute sich Hiskia und zeigte ihnen das Schatzhaus, Silber und Gold und Spezerei, köstliche Salben und alle seine Zeughäuser und alle Schätze, die er hatte. Nichts war, das ihnen Hiskia nicht zeigte in seinem Hause und in seiner Herrschaft.(D) Isa 39:2 καὶ ἐχάρη ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῖς Εζεκιας χαρὰν μεγάλην καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτοῖς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ νεχωθα καὶ τῆς στακτῆς καὶ τῶν θυμιαμάτων καὶ τοῦ μύρου καὶ τοῦ ἀργυρίου καὶ τοῦ χρυσίου καὶ πάντας τοὺς οἴκους τῶν σκευῶν τῆς γάζης καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἦν ἐν τοῖς θησαυροῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἦν οὐθέν ὃ οὐκ ἔδειξεν Εζεκιας ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ(lxx) Isa 39:2 And Hezekiah was pleased with them, and showed them the house of his treasures--the silver and gold, the spices and precious ointment, and all his armory--all that was found among his treasures. There was nothing in his house or in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:3 ============ Isa 39:3 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, "What did these men say, and from where have they come to you?" And Hezekiah said, "They have come to me from a far country, from Babylon."(nasb) Isa 39:3 Introivit autem Isaias propheta ad Ezechiam regem, et dixit ei: Quid dixerunt viri isti, et unde venerunt ad te? Et dixit Ezechias: De terra longinqua venerunt ad me, de Babylone.(vulgate) Isaías 39:3 Entonces el profeta Isaías vino al rey Ezequías, y le dijo: ¿Qué dicen estos hombres, y de dónde han venido a ti? Y Ezequías respondió: De tierra muy lejana han venido a mí, de Babilonia.(E) Ésaïe 39:3 Esaïe, le prophète, vint ensuite auprès du roi Ezéchias, et lui dit: Qu'ont dit ces gens-là, et d'où sont-ils venus vers toi? Ezéchias répondit: Ils sont venus vers moi d'un pays éloigné, de Babylone.(F) Isa 39:3 Da kam der Prophet Jesaja zum König Hiskia und sprach zu ihm: Was sagen diese Männer, und woher kommen sie zu dir? Hiskia sprach: Sie kommen von fern zu mir, nämlich von Babel.(D) Isa 39:3 καὶ ἦλθεν Ησαιας ὁ προφήτης πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Εζεκιαν καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν τί λέγουσιν οἱ ἄνθρωποι οὗτοι καὶ πόθεν ἥκασιν πρὸς σέ καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας ἐκ γῆς πόρρωθεν ἥκασιν πρός με ἐκ Βαβυλῶνος(lxx) Isa 39:3 Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah, and said to him, "What did these men say, and from where did they come to you?" So Hezekiah said, "They came to me from a far country, from Babylon."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:4 ============ Isa 39:4 He said, "What have they seen in your house?" So Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasuries that I have not shown them."(nasb) Isa 39:4 Et dixit: Quid viderunt in domo tua? Et dixit Ezechias: Omnia quæ in domo mea sunt viderunt; non fuit res quam non ostenderim eis in thesauris meis.(vulgate) Isaías 39:4 Dijo entonces: ¿Qué han visto en tu casa? Y dijo Ezequías: Todo lo que hay en mi casa han visto, y ninguna cosa hay en mis tesoros que no les haya mostrado.(E) Ésaïe 39:4 Esaïe dit encore: Qu'ont-ils vu dans ta maison? Ezéchias répondit: Ils ont vu tout ce qui est dans ma maison: il n'y a rien dans mes trésors que je ne leur aie fait voir.(F) Isa 39:4 Er aber sprach: Was haben sie in deinem Hause gesehen? Hiskia sprach: Alles, was in meinem Hause ist, haben sie gesehen und ist nichts, das ich ihnen nicht hätte gezeigt in meinen Schätzen.(D) Isa 39:4 καὶ εἶπεν Ησαιας τί εἴδοσαν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας πάντα τὰ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου εἴδοσαν καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου ὃ οὐκ εἴδοσαν ἀλλὰ καὶ τὰ ἐν τοῖς θησαυροῖς μου(lxx) Isa 39:4 And he said, "What have they seen in your house?" So Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:5 ============ Isa 39:5 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the Lord of hosts,(nasb) Isa 39:5 Et dixit Isaias ad Ezechiam: Audi verbum Domini exercituum.(vulgate) Isaías 39:5 Entonces dijo Isaías a Ezequías: Oye palabra de Jehová de los ejércitos:(E) Ésaïe 39:5 Alors Esaïe dit à Ezéchias: Ecoute la parole de l'Eternel des armées!(F) Isa 39:5 Und Jesaja sprach zu Hiskia: Höre das Wort des HERRN Zebaoth:(D) Isa 39:5 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ησαιας ἄκουσον τὸν λόγον κυρίου σαβαωθ(lxx) Isa 39:5 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the Lord of hosts:(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:6 ============ Isa 39:6 'Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house and all that your fathers have laid up in store to this day will be carried to Babylon; nothing will be left, 'says the Lord.(nasb) Isa 39:6 Ecce dies venient, et auferentur omnia quæ in domo tua sunt, et quæ thesaurizaverunt patres tui usque ad diem hanc, in Babylonem; non relinquetur quidquam, dicit Dominus.(vulgate) Isaías 39:6 He aquí, vienen días en que será llevado a Babilonia todo lo que [hay] en tu casa, y lo que tus padres han atesorado hasta hoy; ninguna cosa quedará, dice Jehová.(E) Ésaïe 39:6 Voici, les temps viendront où l'on emportera à Babylone tout ce qui est dans ta maison et ce que tes pères ont amassé jusqu'à ce jour; il n'en restera rien, dit l'Eternel.(F) Isa 39:6 Siehe es kommt die Zeit, daß alles, was in deinem Hause ist und was deine Väter gesammelt haben bis auf diesen Tag, wird gen Babel gebracht werden, daß nichts bleiben wird, spricht der HERR.(D) Isa 39:6 ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται λέγει κύριος καὶ λήμψονται πάντα τὰ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου καὶ ὅσα συνήγαγον οἱ πατέρες σου ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης εἰς Βαβυλῶνα ἥξει καὶ οὐδὲν οὐ μὴ καταλίπωσιν εἶπεν δὲ ὁ θεὸς(lxx) Isa 39:6 'Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and what your fathers have accumulated until this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,' says the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:7 ============ Isa 39:7 'And some of your sons who will issue from you, whom you will beget, will be taken away, and they will become officials in the palace of the king of Babylon.'"(nasb) Isa 39:7 Et de filiis tuis, qui exibunt de te, quos genueris, tollent, et erunt eunuchi in palatio regis Babylonis.(vulgate) Isaías 39:7 De tus hijos que hubieren salido de ti, y que engendraste, tomarán, y serán eunucos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia.(E) Ésaïe 39:7 Et l'on prendra de tes fils, qui seront sortis de toi, que tu auras engendrés, pour en faire des eunuques dans le palais du roi de Babylone.(F) Isa 39:7 Dazu werden sie von deinen Kindern, die von dir kommen werden und du zeugen wirst, nehmen, daß sie müssen Kämmerer sein am Hofe des Königs zu Babel.(D) Isa 39:7 ὅτι καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν τέκνων σου ὧν ἐγέννησας λήμψονται καὶ ποιήσουσιν σπάδοντας ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ βασιλέως τῶν Βαβυλωνίων(lxx) Isa 39:7 'And they shall take away some of your sons who will descend from you, whom you will beget; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.' "(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:8 ============ Isa 39:8 Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good." For he thought, "For there will be peace and truth in my days."(nasb) Isa 39:8 Et dixit Ezechias ad Isaiam: Bonum verbum Domini, quod locutus est. Et dixit: Fiat tantum pax et veritas in diebus meis!(vulgate) Isaías 39:8 Y dijo Ezequías a Isaías: La palabra de Jehová que has hablado, [es] buena. Y añadió: A lo menos, haya paz y verdad en mis días.(E) Ésaïe 39:8 Ezéchias répondit à Esaïe: La parole de l'Eternel, que tu as prononcée, est bonne; car, ajouta-t-il, il y aura paix et sécurité pendant ma vie.(F) Isa 39:8 Und Hiskia sprach zu Jesaja: Das Wort des HERRN ist gut, das du sagst, und sprach: Es sei nur Friede und Treue, solange ich lebe.(D) Isa 39:8 καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας πρὸς Ησαιαν ἀγαθὸς ὁ λόγος κυρίου ὃν ἐλάλησεν γενέσθω δὴ εἰρήνη καὶ δικαιοσύνη ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις μου(lxx) Isa 39:8 So Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good!"
