Behold, I do not know how to speak, Because I am a youth."(nasb) Jer 1:6 Et dixi: [A, a, a, Domine Deus, ecce nescio loqui, quia puer ego sum.](vulgate) Jeremías 1:6 Y yo dije: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! He aquí, no sé hablar, porque soy niño.(E) Jérémie 1:6 Je répondis: Ah! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:7 ============ Jer 1:7 But the Lord said to me, "Do not say, 'I am a youth, 'Because everywhere I send you, you shall go, And all that I command you, you shall speak.(nasb) Jer 1:7 Et dixit Dominus ad me: [Noli dicere: Puer sum: quoniam ad omnia quæ mittam te ibis, et universa quæcumque mandavero tibi loqueris.(vulgate) Jeremías 1:7 Y me dijo Jehová: No digas, soy niño; porque a todo lo que te envíe irás tú, y dirás todo lo que te mande.(E) Jérémie 1:7 Et l'Eternel me dit: Ne dis pas: Je suis un enfant. Car tu iras vers tous ceux auprès de qui je t'enverrai, et tu diras tout ce que je t'ordonnerai.(F) Jer 1:7 Der HERR sprach aber zu mir: Sage nicht: "Ich bin zu jung"; sondern du sollst gehen, wohin ich dich sende, und predigen, was ich dich heiße.(D) Jer 1:7 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με μὴ λέγε ὅτι νεώτερος ἐγώ εἰμι ὅτι πρὸς πάντας οὓς ἐὰν ἐξαποστείλω σε πορεύσῃ καὶ κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν ἐντείλωμαί σοι λαλήσεις(lxx) Jer 1:7 But the Lord said to me: "Do not say, 'I am a youth,' For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:8 ============ Jer 1:8 "Do not be afraid of them, For I am with you to deliver you," declares the Lord.(nasb) Jer 1:8 Ne timeas a facie eorum, quia tecum ego sum ut eruam te, dicit Dominus.](vulgate) Jeremías 1:8 No temas delante de ellos, porque yo estoy contigo para librarte, dice Jehová.(E) Jérémie 1:8 Ne les crains point, car je suis avec toi pour te délivrer, dit l'Eternel.(F) Jer 1:8 Fürchte dich nicht vor ihnen; denn ich bin bei dir und will dich erretten, spricht der HERR.(D) Jer 1:8 μὴ φοβηθῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν ὅτι μετὰ σοῦ ἐγώ εἰμι τοῦ ἐξαιρεῖσθαί σε λέγει κύριος(lxx) Jer 1:8 Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you," says the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:9 ============ Jer 1:9 Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me, "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.(nasb) Jer 1:9 Et misit Dominus manum suam, et tetigit os meum, et dixit Dominus ad me: [Ecce dedi verba mea in ore tuo:(vulgate) Jeremías 1:9 Y extendió Jehová su mano, y tocó mi boca; y me dijo Jehová: He aquí he puesto mis palabras en tu boca.(E) Jérémie 1:9 Puis l'Eternel étendit sa main, et toucha ma bouche; et l'Eternel me dit: Voici, je mets mes paroles dans ta bouche.(F) Jer 1:9 Und der HERR reckte seine Hand aus und rührte meinen Mund an und sprach zu mir: Siehe, ich lege meine Worte in deinen Mund.(D) Jer 1:9 καὶ ἐξέτεινεν κύριος τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ πρός με καὶ ἥψατο τοῦ στόματός μου καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἰδοὺ δέδωκα τοὺς λόγους μου εἰς τὸ στόμα σου(lxx) Jer 1:9 Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:10 ============ Jer 1:10 "See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, To pluck up and to break down, To destroy and to overthrow, To build and to plant."(nasb) Jer 1:10 ecce constitui te hodie super gentes et super regna, ut evellas, et destruas, et disperdas, et dissipes, et ædifices, et plantes.](vulgate) Jeremías 1:10 Mira que te he puesto en este día sobre naciones y sobre reinos, para arrancar y para destruir, para arruinar y para derribar, para edificar y para plantar.(E) Jérémie 1:10 Regarde, je t'établis aujourd'hui sur les nations et sur les royaumes, pour que tu arraches et que tu abattes, pour que tu ruines et que tu détruises, pour que tu bâtisses et que tu plantes.(F) Jer 1:10 Siehe, ich setze dich heute dieses Tages über Völker und Königreiche, daß du ausreißen, zerbrechen, verstören und verderben sollst und bauen und pflanzen.(D) Jer 1:10 ἰδοὺ κατέστακά σε σήμερον ἐπὶ ἔθνη καὶ βασιλείας ἐκριζοῦν καὶ κατασκάπτειν καὶ ἀπολλύειν καὶ ἀνοικοδομεῖν καὶ καταφυτεύειν(lxx) Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:11 ============ Jer 1:11 The word of the Lord came to me saying, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" And I said, "I see a rod of an almond tree."(nasb) Jer 1:11 Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens: [Quid tu vides, Jeremia?] Et dixi: [Virgam vigilantem ego video.](vulgate) Jeremías 1:11 Y la palabra de Jehová vino a mí, diciendo: ¿Qué ves tú, Jeremías? Y dije: Yo veo una vara de almendro.(E) Jérémie 1:11 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: Que vois-tu, Jérémie? Je répondis: Je vois une branche d'amandier.(F) Jer 1:11 Und es geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach: Jeremia, was siehst du? Ich sprach: Ich sehe einen erwachenden Zweig.(D) Jer 1:11 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων τί σὺ ὁρᾷς Ιερεμια καὶ εἶπα βακτηρίαν καρυΐνην(lxx) Jer 1:11 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, "Jeremiah, what do you see?" And I said, "I see a branch of an almond tree."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:12 ============ Jer 1:12 Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it."(nasb) Jer 1:12 Et dixit Dominus ad me: [Bene vidisti: quia vigilabo ego super verbo meo, ut faciam illud.](vulgate) Jeremías 1:12 Y me dijo Jehová: Bien has visto; porque yo apresuro mi palabra para ponerla por obra.(E) Jérémie 1:12 Et l'Eternel me dit: Tu as bien vu; car je veille sur ma parole, pour l'exécuter.(F) Jer 1:12 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Du hast recht gesehen; denn ich will wachen über mein Wort, daß ich's tue.(D) Jer 1:12 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με καλῶς ἑώρακας διότι ἐγρήγορα ἐγὼ ἐπὶ τοὺς λόγους μου τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτούς(lxx) Jer 1:12 Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:13 ============ Jer 1:13 The word of the Lord came to me a second time saying, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see a boiling pot, facing away from the north."(nasb) Jer 1:13 Et factum est verbum Domini secundo ad me, dicens: [Quid tu vides?] Et dixi: [Ollam succensam ego video, et faciem ejus a facie aquilonis.](vulgate) Jeremías 1:13 Y vino a mí palabra de Jehová por segunda vez, diciendo: ¿Qué ves tú? Y dije: Yo veo una olla que hierve; y su faz está hacia el norte.(E) Jérémie 1:13 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée une seconde fois, en ces mots: Que vois-tu? Je répondis: Je vois une chaudière bouillante, du côté du septentrion.(F) Jer 1:13 Und es geschah des HERRN Wort zum andernmal zu mir und sprach: Was siehst du? Ich sprach: Ich sehe einen heißsiedenden Topf von Mitternacht her.(D) Jer 1:13 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με ἐκ δευτέρου λέγων τί σὺ ὁρᾷς καὶ εἶπα λέβητα ὑποκαιόμενον καὶ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου βορρᾶ(lxx) Jer 1:13 And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:14 ============ Jer 1:14 Then the Lord said to me, "Out of the north the evil will break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.(nasb) Jer 1:14 Et dixit Dominus ad me: [Ab aquilone pandetur malum super omnes habitatores terræ:(vulgate) Jeremías 1:14 Y me dijo Jehová: Del norte se desatará el mal sobre todos los moradores de la tierra.(E) Jérémie 1:14 Et l'Eternel me dit: C'est du septentrion que la calamité se répandra sur tous les habitants du pays.(F) Jer 1:14 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Von Mitternacht wird das Unglück ausbrechen über alle, die im Lande wohnen.(D) Jer 1:14 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἀπὸ προσώπου βορρᾶ ἐκκαυθήσεται τὰ κακὰ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν γῆν(lxx) Jer 1:14 Then the Lord said to me: "Out of the north calamity shall break forth On all the inhabitants of the land.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:15 ============ Jer 1:15 For, behold, I am calling all the families of the kingdoms of the north," declares the Lord."and they will come and they will set each one his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls round about and against all the cities of Judah.(nasb) Jer 1:15 quia ecce ego convocabo omnes cognationes regnorum aquilonis, ait Dominus: et venient, et ponent unusquisque solium suum in introitu portarum Jerusalem, et super omnes muros ejus in circuitu, et super universas urbes Juda:(vulgate) Jeremías 1:15 Porque he aquí que yo convoco a todas las familias de los reinos del norte, dice Jehová; y vendrán, y pondrá cada uno su trono a la entrada de las puertas de Jerusalén, y junto a todos sus muros en derredor, y en todas las ciudades de Judá.(E) Jérémie 1:15 Car voici, je vais appeler tous les peuples des royaumes du septentrion, dit l'Eternel; ils viendront, et placeront chacun leur siège à l'entrée des portes de Jérusalem, contre ses murailles tout alentour, et contre toutes les villes de Juda.(F) Jer 1:15 Denn siehe, ich will rufen alle Fürsten in den Königreichen gegen Mitternacht, spricht der HERR, daß sie kommen sollen und ihre Stühle setzen vor die Tore zu Jerusalem und rings um die Mauern her und vor alle Städte Juda's.(D) Jer 1:15 διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ συγκαλῶ πάσας τὰς βασιλείας ἀπὸ βορρᾶ τῆς γῆς λέγει κύριος καὶ ἥξουσιν καὶ θήσουσιν ἕκαστος τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὰ πρόθυρα τῶν πυλῶν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ τείχη τὰ κύκλῳ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπὶ πάσας τὰς πόλεις Ιουδα(lxx) Jer 1:15 For behold, I am calling All the families of the kingdoms of the north," says the Lord; "They shall come and each one set his throne At the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, Against all its walls all around, And against all the cities of Judah.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:16 ============ Jer 1:16 I will pronounce My judgments on them concerning all their wickedness, whereby they have forsaken Me and have offered sacrifices to other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands.(nasb) Jer 1:16 et loquar judicia mea cum eis super omnem malitiam eorum qui dereliquerunt me, et libaverunt diis alienis, et adoraverunt opus manuum suarum.(vulgate) Jeremías 1:16 Y a causa de toda su maldad, pronunciaré mis juicios contra ellos, quienes me dejaron, y quemaron incienso a dioses extraños, y adoraron la obra de sus propias manos.(E) Jérémie 1:16 Je prononcerai mes jugements contre eux, à cause de toute leur méchanceté, parce qu'ils m'ont abandonné et ont offert de l'encens à d'autres dieux, et parce qu'ils se sont prosternés devant l'ouvrage de leurs mains.(F) Jer 1:16 Und ich will das Recht lassen über sie gehen um all ihrer Bosheit willen, daß sie mich verlassen und räuchern andern Göttern und beten an ihrer Hände Werk.(D) Jer 1:16 καὶ λαλήσω πρὸς αὐτοὺς μετὰ κρίσεως περὶ πάσης τῆς κακίας αὐτῶν ὡς ἐγκατέλιπόν με καὶ ἔθυσαν θεοῖς ἀλλοτρίοις καὶ προσεκύνησαν τοῖς ἔργοις τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν(lxx) Jer 1:16 I will utter My judgments Against them concerning all their wickedness, Because they have forsaken Me, Burned incense to other gods, And worshiped the works of their own hands.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:17 ============ Jer 1:17 Now, gird up your loins and arise, and speak to them all which I command you. Do not be dismayed before them, or I will dismay you before them.(nasb) Jer 1:17 Tu ergo, accinge lumbos tuos, et surge, et loquere ad eos omnia quæ ego præcipio tibi. Ne formides a facie eorum, nec enim timere te faciam vultum eorum.(vulgate) Jeremías 1:17 Tú pues, ciñe tus lomos, y levántate, y háblales todo lo que yo te mande. No temas ante su presencia, para que yo no te quebrante delante de ellos.(E) Jérémie 1:17 Et toi, ceins tes reins, lève-toi, et dis-leur tout ce que je t'ordonnerai. Ne tremble pas en leur présence, de peur que je ne te fasse trembler devant eux.(F) Jer 1:17 So begürte nun deine Lenden und mache dich auf und predige ihnen alles, was ich dich heiße. Erschrick nicht vor ihnen, auf daß ich dich nicht erschrecke vor ihnen;(D) Jer 1:17 καὶ σὺ περίζωσαι τὴν ὀσφύν σου καὶ ἀνάστηθι καὶ εἰπὸν πρὸς αὐτοὺς πάντα ὅσα ἂν ἐντείλωμαί σοι μὴ φοβηθῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ἐναντίον αὐτῶν ὅτι μετὰ σοῦ ἐγώ εἰμι τοῦ ἐξαιρεῖσθαί σε λέγει κύριος(lxx) Jer 1:17 "Therefore prepare yourself and arise, And speak to them all that I command you.
