Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 44:1 ============ Jer 44:1 The word that came to Jeremiah for all the Jews living in the land of Egypt, those who were living in Migdol, Tahpanhes, Memphis, and the land of Pathros, saying,(nasb) Jer 44:1 Verbum quod factum est per Jeremiam ad omnes Judæos qui habitabant in terra Ægypti, habitantes in Magdalo, et in Taphnis, et in Memphis, et in terra Phatures, dicens:(vulgate) Jeremías 44:1 Palabra que vino a Jeremías acerca de todos los judíos que moraban en la tierra de Egipto, que moraban en Migdol, y en Tafnes, y en Nof, y en tierra de Patros, diciendo:(E) Jérémie 44:1 La parole fut adressée à Jérémie sur tous les Juifs demeurant au pays d'Egypte, demeurant à Migdol, à Tachpanès, à Noph et au pays de Pathros, en ces mots:(F) Jer 44:1 Dies ist das Wort, das zu Jeremia geschah an alle Juden, so in Ägyptenland wohnten, nämlich so zu Migdol, zu Thachpanhes, zu Noph und im Lande Pathros wohnten, und sprach:(D) Jer 44:1 καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Σεδεκιας υἱὸς Ιωσια ἀντὶ Ιωακιμ ὃν ἐβασίλευσεν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεύειν τοῦ Ιουδα(lxx) Jer 44:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews who dwell in the land of Egypt, who dwell at Migdol, at Tahpanhes, at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:2 ============ Jer 44:2 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'You yourselves have seen all the calamity that I have brought on Jerusalem and all the cities of Judah; and behold, this day they are in ruins and no one lives in them,(nasb) Jer 44:2 Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël: Vos vidistis omne malum istud quod adduxi super Jerusalem, et super omnes urbes Juda: et ecce desertæ sunt hodie, et non est in eis habitator,(vulgate) Jeremías 44:2 Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: Vosotros habéis visto todo el mal que traje sobre Jerusalén y sobre todas las ciudades de Judá: y he aquí que ellas [están] el día de hoy asoladas, y ni hay en ellas morador;(E) Jérémie 44:2 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Vous avez vu tous les malheurs que j'ai fait venir sur Jérusalem et sur toutes les villes de Juda; voici, elles ne sont plus aujourd'hui que des ruines, et il n'y a plus d'habitants,(F) Jer 44:2 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Ihr habt gesehen all das Übel, das ich habe kommen lassen über Jerusalem und über alle Städte in Juda; und siehe, heutigestages sind sie wüst, und wohnt niemand darin;(D) Jer 44:2 καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσεν αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ παῖδες αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ λαὸς τῆς γῆς τοὺς λόγους κυρίου οὓς ἐλάλησεν ἐν χειρὶ Ιερεμιου(lxx) Jer 44:2 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: 'You have seen all the calamity that I have brought on Jerusalem and on all the cities of Judah; and behold, this day they are a desolation, and no one dwells in them,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:3 ============ Jer 44:3 because of their wickedness which they committed so as to provoke Me to anger by continuing to burn sacrifices and to serve other gods whom they had not known, neither they, you, nor your fathers.(nasb) Jer 44:3 propter malitiam quam fecerunt ut me ad iracundiam provocarent, et irent ut sacrificarent, et colerent deos alienos quos nesciebant, et illi, et vos, et patres vestri.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:3 A causa de la maldad que ellos cometieron para hacerme enojar, yendo a ofrecer incienso, honrando a dioses ajenos que ellos no habían conocido, [ni] vosotros, ni vuestros padres.(E) Jérémie 44:3 cause de la méchanceté avec laquelle ils ont agi pour m'irriter, en allant encenser et servir d'autres dieux, inconnus à eux, à vous et à vos pères.(F) Jer 44:3 und das um ihrer Bosheit willen, die sie taten, daß sie mich erzürnten und hingingen und räucherten und dienten andern Göttern, welche weder sie noch ihr noch eure Väter kannten.(D) Jer 44:3 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Σεδεκιας τὸν Ιωαχαλ υἱὸν Σελεμιου καὶ τὸν Σοφονιαν υἱὸν Μαασαιου τὸν ἱερέα πρὸς Ιερεμιαν λέγων πρόσευξαι δὴ περὶ ἡμῶν πρὸς κύριον(lxx) Jer 44:3 because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke Me to anger, in that they went to burn incense and to serve other gods whom they did not know, they nor you nor your fathers.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:4 ============ Jer 44:4 Yet I sent you all My servants the prophets, again and again, saying, "Oh, do not do this abominable thing which I hate."(nasb) Jer 44:4 Et misi ad vos omnes servos meos prophetas, de nocte consurgens, mittensque et dicens: Nolite facere verbum abominationis hujuscemodi, quam odivi.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:4 Y envié a vosotros a todos mis siervos los profetas, madrugando y enviándolos, diciendo: No hagáis ahora esta cosa abominable que yo aborrezco.(E) Jérémie 44:4 Je vous ai envoyé tous mes serviteurs, les prophètes, je les ai envoyés dès le matin, pour vous dire: Ne faites pas ces abominations, que je hais.(F) Jer 44:4 Und ich sandte stets zu euch alle meine Knechte, die Propheten, und ließ euch sagen: Tut doch nicht solche Greuel, die ich hasse.(D) Jer 44:4 καὶ Ιερεμιας ἦλθεν καὶ διῆλθεν διὰ μέσου τῆς πόλεως καὶ οὐκ ἔδωκαν αὐτὸν εἰς οἶκον τῆς φυλακῆς(lxx) Jer 44:4 However I have sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, "Oh, do not do this abominable thing that I hate!"(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:5 ============ Jer 44:5 But they did not listen or incline their ears to turn from their wickedness, so as not to burn sacrifices to other gods.(nasb) Jer 44:5 Et non audierunt, nec inclinaverunt aurem suam, ut converterentur a malis suis, et non sacrificarent diis alienis.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:5 Mas no oyeron ni inclinaron su oído para convertirse de su maldad, para no ofrecer incienso a dioses ajenos.(E) Jérémie 44:5 Mais ils n'ont pas écouté, ils n'ont pas prêté l'oreille, ils ne sont pas revenus de leur méchanceté, et ils n'ont pas cessé d'offrir de l'encens à d'autres dieux.(F) Jer 44:5 Aber sie gehorchten nicht, neigten auch ihre Ohren nicht, daß sie von ihrer Bosheit sich bekehrt und andern Göttern nicht geräuchert hätten.(D) Jer 44:5 καὶ δύναμις Φαραω ἐξῆλθεν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἤκουσαν οἱ Χαλδαῖοι τὴν ἀκοὴν αὐτῶν καὶ ἀνέβησαν ἀπὸ Ιερουσαλημ(lxx) Jer 44:5 But they did not listen or incline their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense to other gods.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:6 ============ Jer 44:6 Therefore My wrath and My anger were poured out and burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, so they have become a ruin and a desolation as it is this day.(nasb) Jer 44:6 Et conflata est indignatio mea et furor meus, et succensa est in civitatibus Juda, et in plateis Jerusalem: et versæ sunt in solitudinem et vastitatem secundum diem hanc.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:6 Se derramó, por tanto, mi furor y mi ira, y se encendió en las ciudades de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalén, y fueron destruidas y desoladas, como están hoy.(E) Jérémie 44:6 Ma colère et ma fureur se sont répandues, et ont embrasé les villes de Juda et les rues de Jérusalem, qui ne sont plus que des ruines et un désert, comme on le voit aujourd'hui.(F) Jer 44:6 Darum ging auch mein Zorn und Grimm an und entbrannte über die Städte Juda's und über die Gassen zu Jerusalem, daß sie zur Wüste und Öde geworden sind, wie es heutigestages steht.(D) Jer 44:6 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Ιερεμιαν λέγων(lxx) Jer 44:6 So My fury and My anger were poured out and kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as it is this day.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:7 ============ Jer 44:7 Now then thus says the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, "Why are you doing great harm to yourselves, so as to cut off from you man and woman, child and infant, from among Judah, leaving yourselves without remnant,(nasb) Jer 44:7 Et nunc hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël: Quare vos facitis malum grande hoc contra animas vestras, ut intereat ex vobis vir et mulier, parvulus et lactens, de medio Judæ, nec relinquatur vobis quidquam residuum:(vulgate) Jeremías 44:7 Ahora, pues, así dice Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: ¿Por qué hacéis tan grande mal contra vuestras almas, para ser cortados varón y mujer, y niño de pecho, de en medio de Judá, sin que os quede remanente alguno;(E) Jérémie 44:7 Maintenant ainsi parle l'Eternel, le Dieu des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Pourquoi vous faites-vous à vous-mêmes un si grand mal, que de faire exterminer du milieu de Juda hommes, femmes, enfants et nourrissons, en sorte qu'il n'y ait plus de vous aucun reste?(F) Jer 44:7 Nun, so spricht der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Warum tut ihr doch so großes Übel wider euer eigen Leben, damit unter euch ausgerottet werden Mann und Weib, Kind und Säugling aus Juda und nichts von euch übrigbleibe,(D) Jer 44:7 οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος οὕτως ἐρεῖς πρὸς βασιλέα Ιουδα τὸν ἀποστείλαντα πρὸς σὲ τοῦ ἐκζητῆσαί με ἰδοὺ δύναμις Φαραω ἡ ἐξελθοῦσα ὑμῖν εἰς βοήθειαν ἀποστρέψουσιν εἰς γῆν Αἰγύπτου(lxx) Jer 44:7 Now therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: 'Why do you commit this great evil against yourselves, to cut off from you man and woman, child and infant, out of Judah, leaving none to remain,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:8 ============ Jer 44:8 provoking Me to anger with the works of your hands, burning sacrifices to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you are entering to reside, so that you might be cut off and become a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?(nasb) Jer 44:8 provocantes me in operibus manuum vestrarum, sacrificando diis alienis in terra Ægypti, in quam ingressi estis ut habitetis ibi: et dispereatis, et sitis in maledictionem et in opprobrium cunctis gentibus terræ?(vulgate) Jeremías 44:8 haciéndome enojar con las obras de vuestras manos, ofreciendo incienso a dioses ajenos en la tierra de Egipto, adonde habéis entrado para morar, de suerte que os acabéis, y seáis por maldición y por oprobio a todas las naciones de la tierra?(E) Jérémie 44:8 Pourquoi m'irritez-vous par les oeuvres de vos mains, en offrant de l'encens aux autres dieux du pays d'Egypte, où vous êtes venus pour y demeurer, afin de vous faire exterminer et d'être un objet de malédiction et d'opprobre parmi toutes les nations de la terre?(F) Jer 44:8 und erzürnt mich so durch eurer Hände Werke und räuchert andern Göttern in Ägyptenland, dahin ihr gezogen seid, daselbst zu herbergen, auf daß ihr ausgerottet und zum Fluch und zur Schmach werdet unter allen Heiden auf Erden?(D) Jer 44:8 καὶ ἀναστρέψουσιν αὐτοὶ οἱ Χαλδαῖοι καὶ πολεμήσουσιν ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην καὶ συλλήμψονται αὐτὴν καὶ καύσουσιν αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί(lxx) Jer 44:8 in that you provoke Me to wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have gone to dwell, that you may cut yourselves off and be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:9 ============ Jer 44:9 Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?(nasb) Jer 44:9 Numquid obliti estis mala patrum vestrorum, et mala regum Juda, et mala uxorum ejus, et mala vestra, et mala uxorum vestrarum, quæ fecerunt in terra Juda, et in regionibus Jerusalem?(vulgate) Jeremías 44:9 ¿Os habéis olvidado de las maldades de vuestros padres, y de las maldades de los reyes de Judá, y de las maldades de sus esposas, y de vuestras maldades, y de las maldades de vuestras esposas, que hicieron en la tierra de Judá y en las calles de Jerusalén?(E) Jérémie 44:9 Avez-vous oublié les crimes de vos pères, les crimes des rois de Juda, les crimes de leurs femmes, vos crimes et les crimes de vos femmes, commis dans le pays de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem?(F) Jer 44:9 Habt ihr vergessen das Unglück eurer Väter, das Unglück der Könige Juda's, das Unglück ihrer Weiber, dazu euer eigenes Unglück und eurer Weiber Unglück, das euch begegnet ist im Lande Juda und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem?(D) Jer 44:9 ὅτι οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος μὴ ὑπολάβητε ταῖς ψυχαῖς ὑμῶν λέγοντες ἀποτρέχοντες ἀπελεύσονται ἀφ᾽ ἡμῶν οἱ Χαλδαῖοι ὅτι οὐ μὴ ἀπέλθωσιν(lxx) Jer 44:9 Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:10 ============ Jer 44:10 But they have not become contrite even to this day, nor have they feared nor walked in My law or My statutes, which I have set before you and before your fathers."'(nasb) Jer 44:10 Non sunt mundati usque ad diem hanc: et non timuerunt, et non ambulaverunt in lege Domini, et in præceptis meis quæ dedi coram vobis et coram patribus vestris.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:10 No se han humillado hasta el día de hoy, ni han tenido temor, ni han caminado en mi ley, ni en mis estatutos que puse delante de vosotros y delante de vuestros padres.(E) Jérémie 44:10 Ils ne se sont point humiliés jusqu'à ce jour, ils n'ont point eu de crainte, ils n'ont point suivi ma loi et mes commandements, que j'ai mis devant vous et devant vos pères.(F) Jer 44:10 Noch sind sie bis auf diesen Tag nicht gedemütigt, fürchten sich auch nicht und wandeln nicht in meinem Gesetz und den Rechten, die ich euch und euren Vätern vorgestellt habe.(D) Jer 44:10 καὶ ἐὰν πατάξητε πᾶσαν δύναμιν τῶν Χαλδαίων τοὺς πολεμοῦντας ὑμᾶς καὶ καταλειφθῶσίν τινες ἐκκεκεντημένοι ἕκαστος ἐν τῷ τόπῳ αὐτοῦ οὗτοι ἀναστήσονται καὶ καύσουσιν τὴν πόλιν ταύτην ἐν πυρί(lxx) Jer 44:10 They have not been humbled, to this day, nor have they feared; they have not walked in My law or in My statutes that I set before you and your fathers.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:11 ============ Jer 44:11 "Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Behold, I am going to set My face against you for woe, even to cut off all Judah.(nasb) Jer 44:11 Ideo hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël: Ecce ego ponam faciem meam in vobis in malum: et disperdam omnem Judam.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:11 Por tanto, así dice Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel: He aquí que yo pongo mi rostro contra vosotros para mal, y para destruir a todo Judá.(E) Jérémie 44:11 C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici, je tourne ma face contre vous pour faire du mal, et pour exterminer tout Juda.(F) Jer 44:11 Darum spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels, also: Siehe, ich will mein Angesicht wider euch richten zum Unglück, und ganz Juda soll ausgerottet werden.(D) Jer 44:11 καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἀνέβη ἡ δύναμις τῶν Χαλδαίων ἀπὸ Ιερουσαλημ ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς δυνάμεως Φαραω(lxx) Jer 44:11 "Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: 'Behold, I will set My face against you for catastrophe and for cutting off all Judah.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:12 ============ Jer 44:12 And I will take away the remnant of Judah who have set their mind on entering the land of Egypt to reside there, and they will all meet their end in the land of Egypt; they will fall by the sword and meet their end by famine. Both small and great will die by the sword and famine; and they will become a curse, an object of horror, an imprecation and a reproach.(nasb) Jer 44:12 Et assumam reliquias Judæ, qui posuerunt facies suas ut ingrederentur terram Ægypti, et habitarent ibi, et consumentur omnes in terra Ægypti: cadent in gladio, et in fame, et consumentur a minimo usque ad maximum: in gladio et in fame morientur, et erunt in jusjurandum, et in miraculum, et in maledictionem, et in opprobrium.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:12 Y tomaré el remanente de Judá que puso su rostro para entrar en la tierra de Egipto para morar allí, y en la tierra de Egipto serán todos consumidos. Caerán a espada y por el hambre serán consumidos; por la espada y el hambre morirán desde el menor hasta el mayor; y serán [causa] de blasfemia, de espanto, de maldición y de oprobio.(E) Jérémie 44:12 Je prendrai les restes de Juda qui ont tourné le visage pour aller au pays d'Egypte, afin d'y demeurer; ils seront tous consumés, ils tomberont dans le pays d'Egypte; ils seront consumés par l'épée, par la famine, depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand; ils périront par l'épée et par la famine; et ils seront un sujet d'exécration, d'épouvante, de malédiction et d'opprobre.(F) Jer 44:12 Und ich will die übrigen aus Juda nehmen, so ihr Angesicht gerichtet haben, nach Ägyptenland zu ziehen, daß sie daselbst herbergen; es soll ein Ende mit ihnen allen werden in Ägyptenland. Durchs Schwert sollen sie fallen, und durch Hunger umkommen, beide, klein und groß; sie sollen durch Schwert und Hunger sterben und sollen ein Schwur, Wunder, Fluch und Schmach werden.(D) Jer 44:12 ἐξῆλθεν Ιερεμιας ἀπὸ Ιερουσαλημ τοῦ πορευθῆναι εἰς γῆν Βενιαμιν τοῦ ἀγοράσαι ἐκεῖθεν ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ λαοῦ(lxx) Jer 44:12 And I will take the remnant of Judah who have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to dwell there, and they shall all be consumed and fall in the land of Egypt. They shall be consumed by the sword and by famine. They shall die, from the least to the greatest, by the sword and by famine; and they shall be an oath, an astonishment, a curse and a reproach!(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:13 ============ Jer 44:13 And I will punish those who live in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, with the sword, with famine and with pestilence.(nasb) Jer 44:13 Et visitabo super habitatores terræ Ægypti sicut visitavi super Jerusalem, in gladio, et fame, et peste:(vulgate) Jeremías 44:13 Pues castigaré a los que moran en tierra de Egipto, como castigué a Jerusalén, con espada, con hambre y con pestilencia.(E) Jérémie 44:13 Je châtierai ceux qui demeurent au pays d'Egypte, comme j'ai châtié Jérusalem, par l'épée, par la famine et par la peste.(F) Jer 44:13 Ich will auch die Einwohner in Ägyptenland mit Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz heimsuchen, gleichwie ich zu Jerusalem getan habe,(D) Jer 44:13 καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτὸς ἐν πύλῃ Βενιαμιν καὶ ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος παρ᾽ ᾧ κατέλυεν Σαρουιας υἱὸς Σελεμιου υἱοῦ Ανανιου καὶ συνέλαβεν τὸν Ιερεμιαν λέγων πρὸς τοὺς Χαλδαίους σὺ φεύγεις(lxx) Jer 44:13 For I will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:14 ============ Jer 44:14 So there will be no refugees or survivors for the remnant of Judah who have entered the land of Egypt to reside there and then to return to the land of Judah, to which they are longing to return and live; for none will return except a few refugees.'"(nasb) Jer 44:14 et non erit qui effugiat, et sit residuus de reliquiis Judæorum qui vadunt ut peregrinentur in terra Ægypti, et revertantur in terram Juda, ad quam ipsi elevant animas suas ut revertantur, et habitent ibi: non revertentur, nisi qui fugerint.~(vulgate) Jeremías 44:14 Y del remanente de Judá que entraron en tierra de Egipto para morar allí, no habrá quien escape, ni quien quede vivo, para volver a la tierra de Judá, por la cual suspiran ellos por volver para habitar allí; porque no volverán sino los que escaparen.(E) Jérémie 44:14 Nul n'échappera, ne fuira, parmi les restes de Juda qui sont venus pour demeurer au pays d'Egypte, avec l'intention de retourner dans le pays de Juda, où ils ont le désir de retourner s'établir; car ils n'y retourneront pas, sinon quelques réchappés.(F) Jer 44:14 daß aus den übrigen Juda's keiner soll entrinnen noch übrigbleiben, die doch darum hierher gekommen sind nach Ägyptenland zur Herberge, daß sie wiederum ins Land Juda möchten, dahin sie gerne wiederkommen wollten und wohnen; aber es soll keiner wieder dahin kommen, außer, welche von hinnen fliehen.(D) Jer 44:14 καὶ εἶπεν ψεῦδος οὐκ εἰς τοὺς Χαλδαίους ἐγὼ φεύγω καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσεν αὐτοῦ καὶ συνέλαβεν Σαρουιας τὸν Ιερεμιαν καὶ εἰσήγαγεν αὐτὸν πρὸς τοὺς ἄρχοντας(lxx) Jer 44:14 so that none of the remnant of Judah who have gone into the land of Egypt to dwell there shall escape or survive, lest they return to the land of Judah, to which they desire to return and dwell. For none shall return except those who escape.' "(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:15 ============ Jer 44:15 Then all the men who were aware that their wives were burning sacrifices to other gods, along with all the women who were standing by, as a large assembly, including all the people who were living in Pathros in the land of Egypt, responded to Jeremiah, saying,(nasb) Jer 44:15 Responderunt autem Jeremiæ omnes viri scientes quod sacrificarent uxores eorum diis alienis, et universæ mulieres quarum stabat multitudo grandis, et omnis populus habitantium in terra Ægypti in Phatures, dicentes:(vulgate) Jeremías 44:15 Entonces todos los que sabían que sus esposas habían ofrecido incienso a dioses ajenos, y todas las mujeres que estaban presentes, una gran multitud, y todo el pueblo que habitaba en tierra de Egipto, en Patros, respondieron a Jeremías, diciendo:(E) Jérémie 44:15 Tous les hommes qui savaient que leurs femmes offraient de l'encens à d'autres dieux, toutes les femmes qui se trouvaient là en grand nombre, et tout le peuple qui demeurait au pays d'Egypte, à Pathros, répondirent ainsi à Jérémie:(F) Jer 44:15 Da antworteten dem Jeremia alle Männer, die da wohl wußten, daß ihre Weiber andern Göttern räucherten, und alle Weiber, so in großem Haufen dastanden, samt allem Volk, die in Ägyptenland wohnten und in Pathros, und sprachen:(D) Jer 44:15 καὶ ἐπικράνθησαν οἱ ἄρχοντες ἐπὶ Ιερεμιαν καὶ ἐπάταξαν αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπέστειλαν αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Ιωναθαν τοῦ γραμματέως ὅτι ταύτην ἐποίησαν εἰς οἰκίαν φυλακῆς(lxx) Jer 44:15 Then all the men who knew that their wives had burned incense to other gods, with all the women who stood by, a great multitude, and all the people who dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying:(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:16 ============ Jer 44:16 "As for the message that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we are not going to listen to you!(nasb) Jer 44:16 Sermonem quem locutus es ad nos in nomine Domini, non audiemus ex te:(vulgate) Jeremías 44:16 [En cuanto a] la palabra que nos has hablado en nombre de Jehová, no la oiremos de ti;(E) Jérémie 44:16 Nous ne t'obéirons en rien de ce que tu nous as dit au nom de l'Eternel.(F) Jer 44:16 Nach dem Wort, das du im Namen des HERRN uns sagst, wollen wir dir nicht gehorchen;(D) Jer 44:16 καὶ ἦλθεν Ιερεμιας εἰς οἰκίαν τοῦ λάκκου καὶ εἰς τὴν χερεθ καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐκεῖ ἡμέρας πολλάς(lxx) Jer 44:16 "As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we will not listen to you!(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:17 ============ Jer 44:17 But rather we will certainly carry out every word that has proceeded from our mouths, by burning sacrifices to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, just as we ourselves, our forefathers, our kings and our princes did in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; for then we had plenty of food and were well off and saw no misfortune.(nasb) Jer 44:17 sed facientes faciemus omne verbum quod egredietur de ore nostro, ut sacrificemus reginæ cæli, et libemus ei libamina, sicut fecimus nos et patres nostri, reges nostri et principes nostri, in urbibus Juda, et in plateis Jerusalem: et saturati sumus panibus, et bene nobis erat, malumque non vidimus.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:17 sino que ciertamente pondremos por obra toda palabra que ha salido de nuestra boca, para ofrecer incienso a la reina del cielo, derramándole libaciones, como hemos hecho nosotros y nuestros padres, nuestros reyes y nuestros príncipes, en las ciudades de Judá y en las plazas de Jerusalén, y fuimos saciados de pan, y estuvimos alegres, y no vimos mal alguno.(E) Jérémie 44:17 Mais nous voulons agir comme l'a déclaré notre bouche, offrir de l'encens à la reine du ciel, et lui faire des libations, comme nous l'avons fait, nous et nos pères, nos rois et nos chefs, dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem. Alors nous avions du pain pour nous rassasier, nous étions heureux, et nous n'éprouvions point de malheur.(F) Jer 44:17 sondern wir wollen tun nach allem dem Wort, das aus unserem Munde geht, und wollen der Himmelskönigin räuchern und ihr Trankopfer opfern, wie wir und unsre Väter, unsre Könige und Fürsten getan haben in den Städten Juda's und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem. Da hatten wir auch Brot genug und ging uns wohl und sahen kein Unglück.(D) Jer 44:17 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Σεδεκιας καὶ ἐκάλεσεν αὐτόν καὶ ἠρώτα αὐτὸν ὁ βασιλεὺς κρυφαίως εἰπεῖν εἰ ἔστιν λόγος παρὰ κυρίου καὶ εἶπεν ἔστιν εἰς χεῖρας βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος παραδοθήσῃ(lxx) Jer 44:17 But we will certainly do whatever has gone out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, were well-off, and saw no trouble.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:18 ============ Jer 44:18 But since we stopped burning sacrifices to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked everything and have met our end by the sword and by famine."(nasb) Jer 44:18 Ex eo autem tempore quo cessavimus sacrificare reginæ cæli, et libare ei libamina, indigemus omnibus, et gladio et fame consumpti sumus.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:18 Mas desde que cesamos de ofrecer incienso a la reina del cielo, y de derramarle libaciones, todo nos falta, y somos consumidos por la espada y por el hambre.(E) Jérémie 44:18 Et depuis que nous avons cessé d'offrir de l'encens à la reine du ciel et de lui faire des libations, nous avons manqué de tout, et nous avons été consumés par l'épée et par la famine...(F) Jer 44:18 Seit der Zeit aber, daß wir haben abgelassen, der Himmelskönigin zu räuchern und Trankopfer zu opfern, haben wir allen Mangel gelitten und sind durch Schwert und Hunger umgekommen.(D) Jer 44:18 καὶ εἶπεν Ιερεμιας τῷ βασιλεῖ τί ἠδίκησά σε καὶ τοὺς παῖδάς σου καὶ τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον ὅτι σὺ δίδως με εἰς οἰκίαν φυλακῆς(lxx) Jer 44:18 But 44:19 ============ Jer 44:19 "And," said the women, "when we were burning sacrifices to the queen of heaven and were pouring out drink offerings to her, was it without our husbands that we made for her sacrificial cakes in her image and poured out drink offerings to her?"(nasb) Jer 44:19 Quod si nos sacrificamus reginæ cæli, et libamus ei libamina, numquid sine viris nostris fecimus ei placentas ad colendum eam, et libandum ei libamina?~(vulgate) Jeremías 44:19 Y cuando ofrecimos incienso a la reina del cielo, y le derramamos libaciones, ¿acaso nosotras hicimos tortas para tributarle culto, y le derramamos libaciones, sin [saberlo] nuestros maridos?(E) Jérémie 44:19 D'ailleurs, lorsque nous offrons de l'encens à la reine du ciel et que nous lui faisons des libations, est-ce sans la volonté de nos maris que nous lui préparons des gâteaux pour l'honorer et que nous lui faisons des libations?(F) Jer 44:19 Auch wenn wir der Himmelskönigin räuchern und opfern, das tun wir ja nicht ohne unserer Männer Willen, daß wir ihr Kuchen backen und Trankopfer opfern, auf daß sie sich um uns bekümmere.(D) Jer 44:19 καὶ ποῦ εἰσιν οἱ προφῆται ὑμῶν οἱ προφητεύσαντες ὑμῖν λέγοντες ὅτι οὐ μὴ ἔλθῃ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ταύτην(lxx) Jer 44:19 The women also said, "And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make cakes for her, to worship her, and pour out drink offerings to her without our husbands' permission?"(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:20 ============ Jer 44:20 Then Jeremiah said to all the people, to the men and women--even to all the people who were giving him such an answer--saying,(nasb) Jer 44:20 Et dixit Jeremias ad omnem populum, adversum viros, et adversum mulieres, et adversum universam plebem, qui responderant geantwortet hatten:(D) Jer 44:20 καὶ νῦν κύριε βασιλεῦ πεσέτω τὸ ἔλεός μου κατὰ πρόσωπόν σου καὶ τί ἀποστρέφεις με εἰς οἰκίαν Ιωναθαν τοῦ γραμματέως καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποθάνω ἐκεῖ(lxx) Jer 44:20 Then Jeremiah spoke to all the people--the men, the women, and all the people who had given him that answer--saying:(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:21 ============ Jer 44:21 "As for the smoking sacrifices that you burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you and your forefathers, your kings and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the Lord remember them and did not all this come into His mind?(nasb) Jer 44:21 Numquid non sacrificium quod sacrificastis in civitatibus Juda, et in plateis Jerusalem, vos et patres vestri, reges vestri, et principes vestri, et populus terræ, horum recordatus est Dominus, et ascendit super cor ejus?(vulgate) Jeremías 44:21 ¿No se ha acordado Jehová, y no ha venido a su memoria el incienso que ofrecisteis en las ciudades de Judá, y en las plazas de Jerusalén, vosotros y vuestros padres, vuestros reyes y vuestros príncipes, y el pueblo de la tierra?(E) Jérémie 44:21 L'Eternel ne s'est-il pas rappelé, n'a-t-il pas eu à la pensée l'encens que vous avez brûlé dans les villes de Juda et dans les rues de Jérusalem, vous et vos pères, vos rois et vos chefs, et le peuple du pays?(F) Jer 44:21 Ich meine ja, der HERR habe gedacht an das Räuchern, so ihr in den Städten Juda's und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem getrieben habt samt euren Vätern, Königen, Fürsten und allem Volk im Lande, und hat's zu Herzen genommen,(D) Jer 44:21 καὶ συνέταξεν ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ ἐνεβάλοσαν αὐτὸν εἰς οἰκίαν τῆς φυλακῆς καὶ ἐδίδοσαν αὐτῷ ἄρτον ἕνα τῆς ἡμέρας ἔξωθεν οὗ πέσσουσιν ἕως ἐξέλιπον οἱ ἄρτοι ἐκ τῆς πόλεως καὶ ἐκάθισεν Ιερεμιας ἐν τῇ αὐλῇ τῆς φυλακῆς(lxx) Jer 44:21 "The incense that you burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, you and your fathers, your kings and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the Lord remember them, and did it not come into His mind?(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:22 ============ Jer 44:22 So the Lord was no longer able to endure it, because of the evil of your deeds, because of the abominations which you have committed; thus your land has become a ruin, an object of horror and a curse, without an inhabitant, as it is this day.(nasb) Jer 44:22 Et non poterat Dominus ultra portare propter malitiam studiorum vestrorum, et propter abominationes quas fecistis: et facta est terra vestra in desolationem, et in stuporem, et in maledictum, eo quod non sit habitator, sicut est dies hæc.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:22 Y no pudo soportar más Jehová a causa de la maldad de vuestras obras, a causa de las abominaciones que habíais hecho: por tanto, vuestra tierra fue puesta en asolamiento, y en espanto, y en maldición, hasta no quedar morador, como hoy.(E) Jérémie 44:22 L'Eternel n'a pas pu le supporter davantage, à cause de la méchanceté de vos actions, à cause des abominations que vous avez commises; et votre pays est devenu une ruine, un désert, un objet de malédiction, comme on le voit aujourd'hui.(F) Jer 44:22 daß er nicht mehr leiden konnte euren bösen Wandel und die Greuel, die ihr tatet; daher auch euer Land zur Wüste, zum Wunder und zum Fluch geworden ist, daß niemand darin wohnt, wie es heutigestages steht.(D) Jer 44:22 --(lxx) Jer 44:22 So the Lord could no longer bear it, because of the evil of your doings and because of the abominations which you committed. Therefore your land is a desolation, an astonishment, a curse, and without an inhabitant, as it is this day.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:23 ============ Jer 44:23 Because you have burned sacrifices and have sinned against the Lord and not obeyed the voice of the Lord or walked in His law, His statutes or His testimonies, therefore this calamity has befallen you, as it has this day."(nasb) Jer 44:23 Propterea quod sacrificaveritis idolis, et peccaveritis Domino, et non audieritis vocem Domini, et in lege, et in præceptis, et in testimoniis ejus non ambulaveritis, idcirco evenerunt vobis mala hæc, sicut est dies hæc.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:23 Porque habéis quemado incienso y pecasteis contra Jehová, y no obedecisteis a la voz de Jehová, ni anduvisteis en su ley, ni en sus estatutos, ni en sus testimonios; por tanto ha venido sobre vosotros este mal, como en este día.(E) Jérémie 44:23 C'est parce que vous avez brûlé de l'encens et péché contre l'Eternel, parce que vous n'avez pas écouté la voix de l'Eternel, et que vous n'avez pas observé sa loi, ses ordonnances, et ses préceptes, c'est pour cela que ces malheurs vous sont arrivés, comme on le voit aujourd'hui.(F) Jer 44:23 Darum, daß ihr geräuchert habt und wider den HERRN gesündigt und der Stimme des HERRN nicht gehorchtet und in seinem Gesetz, seinen Rechten und Zeugnissen nicht gewandelt habt, darum ist auch euch solches Unglück widerfahren, wie es heutigestages steht.(D) Jer 44:23 --(lxx) Jer 44:23 Because you have burned incense and because you have sinned against the Lord, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord or walked in His law, in His statutes or in His testimonies, therefore this calamity has happened to you, as at this day."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:24 ============ Jer 44:24 Then Jeremiah said to all the people, including all the women, "Hear the word of the Lord, all Judah who are in the land of Egypt,(nasb) Jer 44:24 Dixit autem Jeremias ad omnem populum, et ad universas mulieres: Audite verbum Domini, omnis Juda qui estis in terra Ægypti.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:24 Y dijo Jeremías a todo el pueblo, y a todas las mujeres: Oíd palabra de Jehová, todos los de Judá que [estáis] en tierra de Egipto:(E) Jérémie 44:24 Jérémie dit encore à tout le peuple et à toutes les femmes: Ecoutez la parole de l'Eternel, vous tous de Juda, qui êtes au pays d'Egypte!(F) Jer 44:24 Und Jeremia sprach zu allem Volk und zu allen Weibern: Höret des HERRN Wort, alle ihr aus Juda, so in Ägyptenland sind.(D) Jer 44:24 --(lxx) Jer 44:24 Moreover Jeremiah said to all the people and to all the women, "Hear the word of the Lord, all Judah who are in the land of Egypt!(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:25 ============ Jer 44:25 thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, as follows: 'As for you and your wives, you have spoken with your mouths and fulfilled it with your hands, saying, "We will certainly perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn sacrifices to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her." Go ahead and confirm your vows, and certainly perform your vows!'(nasb) Jer 44:25 Hæc inquit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël, dicens: Vos et uxores vestræ locuti estis ore vestro, et manibus vestris implestis, dicentes: Faciamus vota nostra quæ vovimus, ut sacrificemus reginæ cæli, et libemus ei libamina. Maintenant que vous avez accompli vos voeux, exécuté vos promesses,(F) Jer 44:25 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Ihr und eure Weiber habt mit einem Munde geredet und mit euren Händen vollbracht, was ihr sagt: Wir wollen unser Gelübde halten, die wir gelobt haben der Himmelskönigin, daß wir ihr räuchern und Trankopfer opfern. Wohlan, ihr habt eure Gelübde erfüllt und eure Gelübde gehalten.(D) Jer 44:25 --(lxx) Jer 44:25 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying: 'You and your wives have spoken with your mouths and fulfilled with your hands, saying, "We will surely keep our vows that we have made, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her." You will surely keep your vows and perform your vows!'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:26 ============ Jer 44:26 Nevertheless hear the word of the Lord, all Judah who are living in the land of Egypt, 'Behold, I have sworn by My great name, 'says the Lord, 'never shall My name be invoked again by the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, "As the Lord God lives."(nasb) Jer 44:26 Ideo audite verbum Domini, omnis Juda qui habitatis in terra Ægypti: Ecce ego juravi in nomine meo magno, ait Dominus, quia nequaquam ultra vocabitur nomen meum ex ore omnis viri Judæi, dicentis: Vivit Dominus Deus, in omni terra Ægypti.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:26 Por tanto, oíd palabra de Jehová, todo Judá que habitáis en tierra de Egipto: He aquí he jurado por mi grande nombre, dice Jehová, que mi nombre no será más invocado en toda la tierra de Egipto por boca de ningún hombre judío, diciendo: Vive el Señor Jehová.(E) Jérémie 44:26 coutez la parole de l'Eternel, vous tous de Juda, qui demeurez au pays d'Egypte! Voici, je le jure par mon grand nom, dit l'Eternel, mon nom ne sera plus invoqué par la bouche d'aucun homme de Juda, et dans tout le pays d'Egypte aucun ne dira: Le Seigneur, l'Eternel est vivant!(F) Jer 44:26 So hört nun des HERRN Wort, ihr alle aus Juda, die ihr in Ägyptenland wohnt: Siehe, ich schwöre bei meinem großen Namen, spricht der HERR, daß mein Name nicht mehr soll durch irgend eines Menschen Mund aus Juda genannt werden in ganz Ägyptenland, der da sagt: "So wahr der HERR HERR lebt!"(D) Jer 44:26 --(lxx) Jer 44:26 Therefore hear the word of the Lord, all Judah who dwell in the land of Egypt: 'Behold, I have sworn by My great name,' says the Lord, 'that My name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, "The Lord God lives."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:27 ============ Jer 44:27 Behold, I am watching over them for harm and not for good, and all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt will meet their end by the sword and by famine until they are completely gone.(nasb) Jer 44:27 Ecce ego vigilabo super eos in malum, et non in bonum: et consumentur omnes viri Juda qui sunt in terra Ægypti gladio et fame, donec penitus consumantur.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:27 He aquí que yo velo sobre ellos para mal, y no para bien; y todos los hombres de Judá que [están] en la tierra de Egipto, serán consumidos a espada y de hambre, hasta que perezcan del todo.(E) Jérémie 44:27 Voici, je veillerai sur eux pour faire du mal et non du bien; et tous les hommes de Juda qui sont dans le pays d'Egypte seront consumés par l'épée et par la famine, jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient anéantis.(F) Jer 44:27 Siehe, ich will über sie wachen zum Unglück und zu keinem Guten, daß, wer aus Juda in Ägyptenland ist, soll durch Schwert und Hunger umkommen, bis es ein Ende mit ihnen habe.(D) Jer 44:27 --(lxx) Jer 44:27 Behold, I will watch over them for adversity and not for good. And all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by famine, until there is an end to them.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:28 ============ Jer 44:28 Those who escape the sword will return out of the land of Egypt to the land of Judah few in number. Then all the remnant of Judah who have gone to the land of Egypt to reside there will know whose word will stand, Mine or theirs.(nasb) Jer 44:28 Et qui fugerint gladium, revertentur de terra Ægypti in terram Juda viri pauci: et scient omnes reliquiæ Juda, ingredientium terram Ægypti ut habitent ibi, cujus sermo compleatur, meus an illorum.(vulgate) Jeremías 44:28 Y los pocos hombres que escaparen de la espada, volverán de tierra de Egipto a tierra de Judá, y todo el remanente de Judá, que ha entrado en Egipto a morar allí sabrá la palabra de quién ha de permanecer, si la mía, o la suya.(E) Jérémie 44:28 Ceux, en petit nombre, qui échapperont à l'épée, retourneront du pays d'Egypte au pays de Juda. Mais tout le reste de Juda, tous ceux qui sont venus au pays d'Egypte pour y demeurer, sauront si ce sera ma parole ou la leur qui s'accomplira.(F) Jer 44:28 Welche aber dem Schwert entrinnen, die werden aus Ägyptenland ins Land Juda wiederkommen müssen als ein geringer Haufe.
