And they went by way of the plain.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 52:8 ============ Jer 52:8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him.(nasb) Jer 52:8 Persecutus est autem Chadæorum exercitus regem, et apprehenderunt Sedeciam in deserto quod est juxta Jericho: et omnis comitatus ejus diffugit ab eo.(vulgate) Jeremías 52:8 Y el ejército de los caldeos siguió al rey, y alcanzaron a Sedequías en los llanos de Jericó; y se dispersó de él todo su ejército.(E) Jérémie 52:8 Mais l'armée des Chaldéens poursuivit le roi, et ils atteignirent Sédécias dans les plaines de Jéricho; et toute son armée se dispersa loin de lui.(F) Jer 52:8 Und da diese zogen des Weges zum blachen Feld, jagte der Chaldäer Heer dem König nach und ergriffen Zedekia in dem Felde bei Jericho; da zerstreute sich all sein Heer von ihm.(D) Jer 52:8 καὶ κατεδίωξεν ἡ δύναμις τῶν Χαλδαίων ὀπίσω τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ κατέλαβον αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ πέραν Ιεριχω καὶ πάντες οἱ παῖδες αὐτοῦ διεσπάρησαν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ(lxx) Jer 52:8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and they overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. All his army was scattered from him.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 52:9 ============ Jer 52:9 Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.(nasb) Jer 52:9 Cumque comprehendissent regem, adduxerunt eum ad regem Babylonis in Reblatha, quæ est in terra Emath, et locutus est ad eum judicia.(vulgate) Jeremías 52:9 Entonces prendieron al rey, y le hicieron venir al rey de Babilonia, a Ribla en tierra de Hamat, donde pronunció sentencia contra él.(E) Jérémie 52:9 Ils saisirent le roi, et le firent monter vers le roi de Babylone à Ribla, dans le pays de Hamath; et il prononça contre lui une sentence.(F) Jer 52:9 Und sie fingen den König und brachten ihn hinauf zum König zu Babel gen Ribla, das im Lande Hamath liegt, der sprach ein Urteil über ihn.(D) Jer 52:9 καὶ συνέλαβον τὸν βασιλέα καὶ ἤγαγον αὐτὸν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Βαβυλῶνος εἰς Δεβλαθα καὶ ἐλάλησεν αὐτῷ μετὰ κρίσεως(lxx) Jer 52:9 So they took the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he pronounced judgment on him.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 52:10 ============ Jer 52:10 The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and he also slaughtered all the princes of Judah in Riblah.(nasb) Jer 52:10 Et jugulavit rex Babylonis filios Sedeciæ in oculis ejus, sed et omnes principes Juda occidit in Reblatha.(vulgate) Jeremías 52:10 Y degolló el rey de Babilonia a los hijos de Sedequías delante de sus ojos, y también degolló a todos los príncipes de Judá en Ribla.(E) Jérémie 52:10 Le roi de Babylone fit égorger les fils de Sédécias en sa présence; il fit aussi égorger tous les chefs de Juda à Ribla.(F) Jer 52:10 Allda ließ der König zu Babel die Söhne Zedekias vor seinen Augen erwürgen und erwürgte alle Fürsten Juda's zu Ribla.(D) Jer 52:10 καὶ ἔσφαξεν βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος τοὺς υἱοὺς Σεδεκιου κατ᾽ ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας Ιουδα ἔσφαξεν ἐν Δεβλαθα(lxx) Jer 52:10 Then the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. And he killed all the princes of Judah in Riblah.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 52:11 ============ Jer 52:11 Then he blinded the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him with bronze fetters and brought him to Babylon and put him in prison until the day of his death.(nasb) Jer 52:11 Et oculos Sedeciæ eruit, et vinxit eum compedibus, et adduxit eum rex Babylonis in Babylonem, et posuit eum in ἀπέθανεν(lxx) Jer 52:11 He also put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in bronze fetters, took him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 52:12 ============ Jer 52:12 Now on the tenth day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard, who was in the service of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.(nasb) Jer 52:12 In mense autem quinto, decima mensis, ipse est annus nonusdecimus Nabuchodonosor regis Babylonis, venit Nabuzardan princeps king of Babylon), Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, who served the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 52:13 ============ Jer 52:13 He burned the house of the Lord, the king's house and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every large house he burned with fire.(nasb) Jer 52:13 et incendit domum Domini, et domum regis, et omnes domos Jerusalem: et omnem domum magnam igni 52:14 ============ Jer 52:14 So all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard broke down all the walls around Jerusalem.(nasb) Jer 52:14 et totum murum Jerusalem per circuitum And all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard broke down all the walls of Jerusalem all around.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 52:15 ============ Jer 52:15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away into exile some of the poorest of the people, the rest of the people who were left in the city, the deserters who had deserted to the king of Babylon and the rest of the artisans.(nasb) Jer 52:15 De pauperibus autem populi, et de reliquo vulgo quod remanserat in civitate, et de perfugis qui transfugerant ad regem Babylonis, et ceteros de multitudine transtulit ============ Jer 52:16 But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left some of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and plowmen.(nasb) Jer 52:16 De pauperibus vero terræ reliquit Nabuzardan the poor of the land as vinedressers and farmers.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 52:17 ============ Jer 52:17 Now the bronze pillars which belonged to the house of the Lord and the stands and the bronze sea, which were in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans broke in pieces and carried all their bronze to Babylon.(nasb) Jer 52:17 Columnas quoque æreas quæ erant in domo Domini, et bases, et mare æneum quod
