Today's Date: ======= Hebrews 1:1 ============ Heb 1:1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways,(nasb) Heb 1:1 Multifariam, multisque modis olim Deus loquens patribus in prophetis:(vulgate) Hebreos 1:1 Dios, habiendo hablado muchas veces y en muchas maneras en otro tiempo a los padres por los profetas,(E) Hébreux 1:1 Après avoir autrefois, à plusieurs reprises et de plusieurs manières, parlé à nos pères par les prophètes, Dieu,(F) Heb 1:1 Nachdem vorzeiten Gott manchmal und mancherleiweise geredet hat zu den Vätern durch die Propheten,(D) Heb 1:1 πολυμερῶς καὶ πολυτρόπως πάλαι ὁ θεὸς λαλήσας τοῖς πατράσιν ἐν τοῖς προφήταις(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:2 ============ Heb 1:2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.(nasb) Heb 1:2 novissime, diebus istis locutus est nobis in Filio, quem constituit hæredem universorum, per quem fecit et sæcula:(vulgate) Hebreos 1:2 en estos postreros días nos ha hablado por [su] Hijo, a quien constituyó heredero de todo, por quien asimismo hizo el universo;(E) Hébreux 1:2 dans ces derniers temps, nous a parlé par le Fils, qu'il a établi héritier de toutes choses, par lequel il a aussi créé le monde,(F) Heb 1:2 hat er am letzten in diesen Tagen zu uns geredet durch den Sohn, welchen er gesetzt hat zum Erben über alles, durch welchen er auch die Welt gemacht hat;(D) Heb 1:2 ἐπ᾽ ἐσχάτου τῶν ἡμερῶν τούτων ἐλάλησεν ἡμῖν ἐν υἱῶ, ὃν ἔθηκεν κληρονόμον πάντων, δι᾽ οὖ καὶ ἐποίησεν τοὺς αἰῶνας·(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:3 ============ Heb 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,(nasb) Heb 1:3 qui cum sit splendor gloriæ, et figura substantiæ ejus, portansque omnia verbo virtutis suæ, purgationem peccatorum faciens, sedet ad dexteram majestatis in excelsis:(vulgate) Hebreos 1:3 el cual, siendo el resplandor de su gloria, y la imagen misma de su sustancia, y quien sustenta todas las cosas con la palabra de su poder, habiendo hecho la expiación de nuestros pecados por sí mismo, se sentó a la diestra de la Majestad en las alturas,(E) Hébreux 1:3 et qui, étant le reflet de sa gloire et l'empreinte de sa personne, et soutenant toutes choses par sa parole puissante, a fait la purification des péchés et s'est assis à la droite de la majesté divine dans les lieux très hauts,(F) Heb 1:3 welcher, sintemal er ist der Glanz seiner Herrlichkeit und das Ebenbild seines Wesens und trägt alle Dinge mit seinem kräftigen Wort und hat gemacht die Reinigung unsrer Sünden durch sich selbst, hat er sich gesetzt zu der Rechten der Majestät in der Höhe(D) Heb 1:3 ὃς ὢν ἀπαύγασμα τῆς δόξης καὶ χαρακτὴρ τῆς ὑποστάσεως αὐτοῦ, φέρων τε τὰ πάντα τῶ ῥήματι τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ, καθαρισμὸν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ποιησάμενος ἐκάθισεν ἐν δεξιᾷ τῆς μεγαλωσύνης ἐν ὑψηλοῖς,(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:4 ============ Heb 1:4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.(nasb) Heb 1:4 tanto melior angelis effectus, quanto differentius præ illis nomen hæreditavit.(vulgate) Hebreos 1:4 hecho tanto más superior que los ángeles, cuanto heredó más excelente nombre que ellos.(E) Hébreux 1:4 devenu d'autant supérieur aux anges qu'il a hérité d'un nom plus excellent que le leur.(F) Heb 1:4 und ist so viel besser geworden den die Engel, so viel höher der Name ist, den er von ihnen ererbt hat.(D) Heb 1:4 τοσούτῳ κρείττων γενόμενος τῶν ἀγγέλων ὅσῳ διαφορώτερον παρ᾽ αὐτοὺς κεκληρονόμηκεν ὄνομα.(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:5 ============ Heb 1:5 For to which of the angels did He ever say, "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU"? And again, "I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME"?(nasb) Heb 1:5 Cui enim dixit aliquando angelorum: Filius meus es tu, ego hodie genui te? Et rursum: Ego ero illi in patrem, et ipse erit mihi in filium?(vulgate) Hebreos 1:5 Porque ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás: Mi Hijo eres tú, yo te he engendrado hoy, y otra vez: Yo seré a Él Padre, y Él me será a mí Hijo?(E) Hébreux 1:5 Car auquel des anges Dieu a-t-il jamais dit: Tu es mon Fils, Je t'ai engendré aujourd'hui? Et encore: Je serai pour lui un père, et il sera pour moi un fils?(F) Heb 1:5 Denn zu welchem Engel hat er jemals gesagt: "Du bist mein lieber Sohn, heute habe ich dich gezeugt"? und abermals: "Ich werde sein Vater sein, und er wird mein Sohn sein"?(D) Heb 1:5 τίνι γὰρ εἶπέν ποτε τῶν ἀγγέλων, υἱός μου εἶ σύ, ἐγὼ σήμερον γεγέννηκά σε; καὶ πάλιν, ἐγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτῶ εἰς πατέρα, καὶ αὐτὸς ἔσται μοι εἰς υἱόν;(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:5 For to which of the angels did He ever say: "You are My Son, Today I have begotten You"? And again: "I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son"?(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:6 ============ Heb 1:6 And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, "AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM."(nasb) Heb 1:6 Et cum iterum introducit primogenitum in orbem terræ, dicit: Et adorent eum omnes angeli Dei.(vulgate) Hebreos 1:6 Y otra vez, cuando introduce al Primogénito en el mundo, dice: Y adórenle todos los ángeles de Dios.(E) Hébreux 1:6 Et lorsqu'il introduit de nouveau dans le monde le premier-né, il dit: Que tous les anges de Dieu l'adorent!(F) Heb 1:6 Und abermals, da er einführt den Erstgeborenen in die Welt, spricht er: "Und es sollen ihn alle Engel Gottes anbeten."(D) Heb 1:6 ὅταν δὲ πάλιν εἰσαγάγῃ τὸν πρωτότοκον εἰς τὴν οἰκουμένην, λέγει, καὶ προσκυνησάτωσαν αὐτῶ πάντες ἄγγελοι θεοῦ.(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:6 But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: "Let all the angels of God worship Him."(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:7 ============ Heb 1:7 And of the angels He says, "WHO MAKES HIS ANGELS WINDS, AND HIS MINISTERS A FLAME OF FIRE."(nasb) Heb 1:7 Et ad angelos quidem dicit: Qui facit angelos suos spiritus, et ministros suos flammam ignis.(vulgate) Hebreos 1:7 Y ciertamente de los ángeles dice: El que hace a sus ángeles espíritus, y a sus ministros llama de fuego.(E) Hébreux 1:7 De plus, il dit des anges: Celui qui fait de ses anges des vents, Et de ses serviteurs une flamme de feu.(F) Heb 1:7 Von den Engeln spricht er zwar: "Er macht seine Engel zu Winden und seine Diener zu Feuerflammen",(D) Heb 1:7 καὶ πρὸς μὲν τοὺς ἀγγέλους λέγει, ὁ ποιῶν τοὺς ἀγγέλους αὐτοῦ πνεύματα, καὶ τοὺς λειτουργοὺς αὐτοῦ πυρὸς φλόγα·(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:7 And of the angels He says: "Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire."(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:8 ============ Heb 1:8 But of the Son He says, "YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM.(nasb) Heb 1:8 Ad Filium autem: Thronus tuus Deus in sæculum sæculi: virga æquitatis, virga regni tui.(vulgate) Hebreos 1:8 Mas al Hijo [dice]: Tu trono, oh Dios, por siempre jamás: Cetro de equidad es el cetro de tu reino.(E) Hébreux 1:8 Mais il a dit au Fils: Ton trône, ô Dieu, est éternel; Le sceptre de ton règne est un sceptre d'équité;(F) Heb 1:8 aber von dem Sohn: "Gott, dein Stuhl währt von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit; das Zepter deines Reichs ist ein richtiges Zepter.(D) Heb 1:8 πρὸς δὲ τὸν υἱόν, ὁ θρόνος σου, ὁ θεός, εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος, καὶ ἡ ῥάβδος τῆς εὐθύτητος ῥάβδος τῆς βασιλείας σου.(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:8 But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:9 ============ Heb 1:9 "YOU HAVE LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HATED LAWLESSNESS; THEREFORE GOD, YOUR GOD, HAS ANOINTED YOU WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS ABOVE YOUR COMPANIONS."(nasb) Heb 1:9 Dilexisti justitiam, et odisti iniquitatem: propterea unxit te Deus, Deus tuus, oleo exultationis præ participibus tuis.(vulgate) Hebreos 1:9 Has amado la justicia, y aborrecido la maldad; Por tanto Dios, el Dios tuyo, te ha ungido con óleo de alegría más que a tus compañeros.(E) Hébreux 1:9 Tu as aimé la justice, et tu as haï l'iniquité; C'est pourquoi, ô Dieu, ton Dieu t'a oint D'une huile de joie au-dessus de tes égaux.(F) Heb 1:9 Du hast geliebt die Gerechtigkeit und gehaßt die Ungerechtigkeit; darum hat dich, o Gott, gesalbt dein Gott mit dem Öl der Freuden über deine Genossen."(D) Heb 1:9 ἠγάπησας δικαιοσύνην καὶ ἐμίσησας ἀνομίαν· διὰ τοῦτο ἔχρισέν σε ὁ θεός, ὁ θεός σου, ἔλαιον ἀγαλλιάσεως παρὰ τοὺς μετόχους σου·(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions."(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:10 ============ Heb 1:10 And, "YOU, LORD, IN THE BEGINNING LAID THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH, AND THE HEAVENS ARE THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS;(nasb) Heb 1:10 Et: Tu in principio, Domine, terram fundasti: et opera manuum tuarum sunt cæli.(vulgate) Hebreos 1:10 Y: Tú, Señor, en el principio fundaste la tierra, y los cielos son obra de tus manos:(E) Hébreux 1:10 Et encore: Toi, Seigneur, tu as au commencement fondé la terre, Et les cieux sont l'ouvrage de tes mains;(F) Heb 1:10 Und: "Du, HERR, hast von Anfang die Erde gegründet, und die Himmel sind deiner Hände Werk.(D) Heb 1:10 καί, σὺ κατ᾽ ἀρχάς, κύριε, τὴν γῆν ἐθεμελίωσας, καὶ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν σού εἰσιν οἱ οὐρανοί·(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:10 And: "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:11 ============ Heb 1:11 THEY WILL PERISH, BUT YOU REMAIN; AND THEY ALL WILL BECOME OLD LIKE A GARMENT,(nasb) Heb 1:11 Ipsi peribunt, tu autem permanebis, et omnes ut vestimentum veterascent:(vulgate) Hebreos 1:11 Ellos perecerán, mas tú permaneces; y todos ellos se envejecerán como una vestidura;(E) Hébreux 1:11 Ils périront, mais tu subsistes; Ils vieilliront tous comme un vêtement,(F) Heb 1:11 Sie werden vergehen, du aber wirst bleiben. Und sie werden alle veralten wie ein Kleid;(D) Heb 1:11 αὐτοὶ ἀπολοῦνται, σὺ δὲ διαμένεις· καὶ πάντες ὡς ἱμάτιον παλαιωθήσονται,(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:11 They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment;(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 1:12 ============ Heb 1:12 AND LIKE A MANTLE YOU WILL ROLL THEM UP; LIKE A GARMENT THEY WILL ALSO BE CHANGED. BUT YOU ARE THE SAME, AND YOUR YEARS WILL NOT COME TO AN END."(nasb) Heb 1:12 et velut amictum mutabis eos, et mutabuntur: tu autem idem ipse es, et anni tui non deficient.(vulgate) Hebreos 1:12 y como un manto los envolverás, y serán mudados; pero tú eres el mismo, y tus años no acabarán.(E) Hébreux 1:12 Tu les rouleras comme un manteau et ils seront changés; Mais toi, tu restes le même, Et tes années ne finiront point.(F) Heb 1:12 und wie ein Gewand wirst du sie wandeln, und sie werden sich verwandeln. Du aber bist derselbe, und deine Jahre werden nicht aufhören."(D) Heb 1:12 καὶ ὡσεὶ περιβόλαιον ἑλίξεις αὐτούς, ὡς ἱμάτιον καὶ ἀλλαγήσονται· σὺ δὲ ὁ αὐτὸς εἶ καὶ τὰ ἔτη σου οὐκ ἐκλείψουσιν.(Nestle-Aland) Heb 1:12 Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed.
