Today's Date: ======= Exodus 7:1 ============ Exo 7:1 Then the Lord said to Moses, "See, I make you as God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet.(nas) Exo 7:1 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων ἰδοὺ δέδωκά σε θεὸν Φαραω καὶ Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου ἔσται σου προφήτης (lxx) Exo 7:1 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen: Ecce constitui te Deum Pharaonis: et Aaron frater tuus erit propheta tuus.(vulgate) 1 ׃7 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה רְאֵ֛ה נְתַתִּ֥יךָ אֱלֹהִ֖ים לְפַרְעֹ֑ה וְאַהֲרֹ֥ן אָחִ֖יךָ יִהְיֶ֥ה נְבִיאֶֽךָ׃ Exodus Exo 7:1 Der HERR sprach zu Mose: Siehe, ich habe dich zu einem Gott gesetzt über Pharao, und Aaron, dein Bruder, soll dein Prophet sein.(dhs) Exo 7:1 So the Lord said to Moses: "See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:2 ============ Exo 7:2 You shall speak all that I command you, and your brother Aaron shall speak to Pharaoh that he let the sons of Israel go out of his land.(nas) Exo 7:2 σὺ δὲ λαλήσεις αὐτῷ πάντα ὅσα σοι ἐντέλλομαι ὁ δὲ Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου λαλήσει πρὸς Φαραω ὥστε ἐξαποστεῖλαι τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Exo 7:2 Tu loqueris ei omnia quæ mando tibi: et ille loquetur ad Pharaonem, ut dimittat filios Israël de terra sua.(vulgate) 2 ׃7 אַתָּ֣ה תְדַבֵּ֔ר אֵ֖ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֲצַוֶּ֑ךָּ וְאַהֲרֹ֤ן אָחִ֙יךָ֙ יְדַבֵּ֣ר אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְשִׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ Exodus Exo 7:2 Du sollst reden alles, was ich dir gebieten werde; aber Aaron, dein Bruder, soll's vor Pharao reden, daß er die Kinder Israel aus seinem Lande lasse.(dhs) Exo 7:2 You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:3 ============ Exo 7:3 But I will harden Pharaoh's heart that I may multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.(nas) Exo 7:3 ἐγὼ δὲ σκληρυνῶ τὴν καρδίαν Φαραω καὶ πληθυνῶ τὰ σημεῖά μου καὶ τὰ τέρατα ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ (lxx) Exo 7:3 Sed ego indurabo cor ejus, et multiplicabo signa et ostenta mea in terra Ægypti,(vulgate) 3 ׃7 וַאֲנִ֥י אַקְשֶׁ֖ה אֶת־לֵ֣ב פַּרְעֹ֑ה וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֧י אֶת־אֹתֹתַ֛י וְאֶת־מוֹפְתַ֖י בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ Exodus Exo 7:3 Aber ich will Pharaos Herz verhärten, daß ich meiner Zeichen und Wunder viel tue in Ägyptenland.(dhs) Exo 7:3 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:4 ============ Exo 7:4 When Pharaoh does not listen to you, then I will lay My hand on Egypt and bring out My hosts, My people the sons of Israel, from the land of Egypt by great judgments.(nas) Exo 7:4 καὶ οὐκ εἰσακούσεται ὑμῶν Φαραω καὶ ἐπιβαλῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπ᾽ Αἴγυπτον καὶ ἐξάξω σὺν δυνάμει μου τὸν λαόν μου τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου σὺν ἐκδικήσει μεγάλῃ (lxx) Exo 7:4 et non audiet vos: immittamque manum meam super Ægyptum, et educam exercitum et populum meum filios Israël de terra Ægypti per judicia maxima.(vulgate) 4 ׃7 וְלֹֽא־יִשְׁמַ֤ע אֲלֵכֶם֙ פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְנָתַתִּ֥י אֶת־יָדִ֖י בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְהוֹצֵאתִ֨י אֶת־צִבְאֹתַ֜י אֶת־עַמִּ֤י בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם בִּשְׁפָטִ֖ים גְּדֹלִֽים׃ Exodus Exo 7:4 Und Pharao wird euch nicht hören, auf daß ich meine Hand in Ägypten beweise und führe mein Heer, mein Volk, die Kinder Israel, aus Ägyptenland durch große Gerichte.(dhs) Exo 7:4 But Pharaoh will not heed you, so that I may lay My hand on Egypt and bring My armies and My people, the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:5 ============ Exo 7:5 The Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the sons of Israel from their midst."(nas) Exo 7:5 καὶ γνώσονται πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐκτείνων τὴν χεῖρα ἐπ᾽ Αἴγυπτον καὶ ἐξάξω τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ μέσου αὐτῶν (lxx) Exo 7:5 Et scient Ægyptii quia ego sum Dominus qui extenderim manum meam super Ægyptum, et eduxerim filios Israël de medio eorum.(vulgate) 5 ׃7 וְיָדְע֤וּ מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה בִּנְטֹתִ֥י אֶת־יָדִ֖י עַל־מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהוֹצֵאתִ֥י אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִתּוֹכָֽם׃ Exodus Exo 7:5 Und die Ägypter sollen's innewerden, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich nun meine Hand über Ägypten ausstrecken und die Kinder Israel von ihnen wegführen werde.(dhs) Exo 7:5 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:6 ============ Exo 7:6 So Moses and Aaron did it; as the Lord commanded them, thus they did.(nas) Exo 7:6 ἐποίησεν δὲ Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων καθάπερ ἐνετείλατο αὐτοῖς κύριος οὕτως ἐποίησαν (lxx) Exo 7:6 Fecit itaque Moyses et Aaron sicut præceperat Dominus: ita egerunt.(vulgate) 6 ׃7 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹ֑ן כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֹתָ֖ם כֵּ֥ן עָשֽׂוּ׃ Exodus Exo 7:6 Mose und Aaron taten, wie ihnen Gott geboten hatte.(dhs) Exo 7:6 Then Moses and Aaron did so; just as the Lord commanded them, so they did.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:7 ============ Exo 7:7 Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three, when they spoke to Pharaoh.(nas) Exo 7:7 Μωυσῆς δὲ ἦν ἐτῶν ὀγδοήκοντα Ααρων δὲ ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ ἐτῶν ὀγδοήκοντα τριῶν ἡνίκα ἐλάλησεν πρὸς Φαραω (lxx) Exo 7:7 Erat autem Moyses octoginta annorum, et Aaron octoginta trium, quando locuti sunt ad Pharaonem.~(vulgate) 7 ׃7 וּמֹשֶׁה֙ בֶּן־שְׁמֹנִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וְאֽ͏ַהֲרֹ֔ן בֶּן־שָׁלֹ֥שׁ וּשְׁמֹנִ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה בְּדַבְּרָ֖ם אֶל־פַּרְעֹֽה׃ פ Exodus Exo 7:7 Und Mose war achtzig Jahre alt und Aaron dreiundachtzig Jahre alt, da sie mit Pharao redeten(dhs) Exo 7:7 And Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:8 ============ Exo 7:8 Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,(nas) Exo 7:8 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων (lxx) Exo 7:8 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron:(vulgate) 8 ׃7 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃ Exodus Exo 7:8 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose und Aaron:(dhs) Exo 7:8 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:9 ============ Exo 7:9 "When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, 'Work a miracle,' then you shall say to Aaron, 'Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh, that it may become a serpent.'"(nas) Exo 7:9 καὶ ἐὰν λαλήσῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς Φαραω λέγων δότε ἡμῖν σημεῖον ἢ τέρας καὶ ἐρεῖς Ααρων τῷ ἀδελφῷ σου λαβὲ τὴν ῥάβδον καὶ ῥῖψον αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἐναντίον Φαραω καὶ ἐναντίον τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔσται δράκων (lxx) Exo 7:9 Cum dixerit vobis Pharao, Ostendite signa: dices ad Aaron: Tolle virgam tuam, et projice eam coram Pharaone, ac vertetur in colubrum.(vulgate) 9 ׃7 כִּי֩ יְדַבֵּ֨ר אֲלֵכֶ֤ם פַּרְעֹה֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר תְּנ֥וּ לָכֶ֖ם מוֹפֵ֑ת וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֗ן קַ֧ח אֶֽת־מַטְּךָ֛ וְהַשְׁלֵ֥ךְ לִפְנֵֽי־פַרְעֹ֖ה יְהִ֥י לְתַנִּֽין׃ Exodus Exo 7:9 Wenn Pharao zu euch sagen wird: Beweist eure Wunder, so sollst du zu Aaron sagen: Nimm deinen Stab und wirf ihn vor Pharao, daß er zur Schlange werde.(dhs) Exo 7:9 "When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, 'Show a miracle for yourselves,' then you shall say to Aaron, 'Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent.' "(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:10 ============ Exo 7:10 So Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and thus they did just as the Lord had commanded; and Aaron threw his staff down before Pharaoh and his servants, and it became a serpent.(nas) Exo 7:10 εἰσῆλθεν δὲ Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων ἐναντίον Φαραω καὶ τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐποίησαν οὕτως καθάπερ ἐνετείλατο αὐτοῖς κύριος καὶ ἔρριψεν Ααρων τὴν ῥάβδον ἐναντίον Φαραω καὶ ἐναντίον τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐγένετο δράκων (lxx) Exo 7:10 Ingressi itaque Moyses et Aaron ad Pharaonem, fecerunt sicut præceperat Dominus: tulitque Aaron virgam coram Pharaone et servis ejus, quæ versa est in colubrum.(vulgate) 10 ׃7 וַיָּבֹ֨א מֹשֶׁ֤ה וְאַהֲרֹן֙ אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֔ה וַיַּ֣עַשׂוּ כֵ֔ן כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר צִוָּ֣ה יְהוָ֑ה וַיַּשְׁלֵ֨ךְ אַהֲרֹ֜ן אֶת־מַטֵּ֗הוּ לִפְנֵ֥י פַרְעֹ֛ה וְלִפְנֵ֥י עֲבָדָ֖יו וַיְהִ֥י לְתַנִּֽין׃ Exodus Exo 7:10 Da gingen Mose und Aaron hinein zu Pharao und taten, wie ihnen der HERR geboten hatte. Und Aaron warf seinen Stab vor Pharao und vor seinen Knechten, und er ward zur Schlange.(dhs) Exo 7:10 So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the Lord commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:11 ============ Exo 7:11 Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers, and they also, the magicians of Egypt, did the same with their secret arts.(nas) Exo 7:11 συνεκάλεσεν δὲ Φαραω τοὺς σοφιστὰς Αἰγύπτου καὶ τοὺς φαρμακούς καὶ ἐποίησαν καὶ οἱ ἐπαοιδοὶ τῶν Αἰγυπτίων ταῖς φαρμακείαις αὐτῶν ὡσαύτως (lxx) Exo 7:11 Vocavit autem Pharao sapientes et maleficos: et fecerunt etiam ipsi per incantationes ægyptiacas et arcana quædam similiter.(vulgate) 11 ׃7 וַיִּקְרָא֙ גַּם־פַּרְעֹ֔ה לֽ͏ַחֲכָמִ֖ים וְלַֽמְכַשְּׁפִ֑ים וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֨וּ גַם־הֵ֜ם חַרְטֻמֵּ֥י מִצְרַ֛יִם בְּלַהֲטֵיהֶ֖ם כֵּֽן׃ Exodus Exo 7:11 Da forderte Pharao die Weisen und Zauberer; und die ägyptischen Zauberer taten auch also mit ihrem Beschwören:(dhs) Exo 7:11 But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:12 ============ Exo 7:12 For each one threw down his staff and they turned into serpents. But Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs.(nas) Exo 7:12 καὶ ἔρριψαν ἕκαστος τὴν ῥάβδον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐγένοντο δράκοντες καὶ κατέπιεν ἡ ῥάβδος ἡ Ααρων τὰς ἐκείνων ῥάβδους (lxx) Exo 7:12 Projeceruntque singuli virgas suas, quæ versæ sunt in dracones: sed devoravit virga Aaron virgas eorum.(vulgate) 12 ׃7 וַיַּשְׁלִ֙יכוּ֙ אִ֣ישׁ מַטֵּ֔הוּ וַיִּהְי֖וּ לְתַנִּינִ֑ם וַיִּבְלַ֥ע מַטֵּֽה־אַהֲרֹ֖ן אֶת־מַטֹּתָֽם׃ Exodus Exo 7:12 ein jeglicher warf seinen Stab von sich, da wurden Schlangen daraus; aber Aarons Stab verschlang ihre Stäbe.(dhs) Exo 7:12 For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:13 ============ Exo 7:13 Yet Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.(nas) Exo 7:13 καὶ κατίσχυσεν ἡ καρδία Φαραω καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσεν αὐτῶν καθάπερ ἐλάλησεν αὐτοῖς κύριος (lxx) Exo 7:13 Induratumque est cor Pharaonis, et non audivit eos, sicut præceperat Dominus.~(vulgate) 13 ׃7 וַיֶּחֱזַק֙ לֵ֣ב פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְלֹ֥א שָׁמַ֖ע אֲלֵהֶ֑ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃ פ Exodus Exo 7:13 Also ward das Herz Pharaos verstockt, und er hörte sie nicht, wie denn der HERR geredet hatte.(dhs) Exo 7:13 And Pharaoh's heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the Lord had said.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:14 ============ Exo 7:14 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Pharaoh's heart is stubborn; he refuses to let the people go.(nas) Exo 7:14 εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν βεβάρηται ἡ καρδία Φαραω τοῦ μὴ ἐξαποστεῖλαι τὸν λαόν (lxx) Exo 7:14 Dixit autem Dominus ad Moysen: Ingravatum est cor Pharaonis: non vult dimittere populum.(vulgate) 14 ׃7 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה כָּבֵ֖ד לֵ֣ב פַּרְעֹ֑ה מֵאֵ֖ן לְשַׁלַּ֥ח הָעָֽם׃ Exodus Exo 7:14 Und der HERR sprach zu Mose: Das Herz Pharaos ist hart; er weigert sich das Volk zu lassen.(dhs) Exo 7:14 So the Lord said to Moses: "Pharaoh's heart is hard; he refuses to let the people go.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:15 ============ Exo 7:15 Go to Pharaoh in the morning as he is going out to the water, and station yourself to meet him on the bank of the Nile; and you shall take in your hand the staff that was turned into a serpent.(nas) Exo 7:15 βάδισον πρὸς Φαραω τὸ πρωί ἰδοὺ αὐτὸς ἐκπορεύεται ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ καὶ στήσῃ συναντῶν αὐτῷ ἐπὶ τὸ χεῖλος τοῦ ποταμοῦ καὶ τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν στραφεῖσαν εἰς ὄφιν λήμψῃ ἐν τῇ χειρί σου (lxx) Exo 7:15 Vade ad eum mane, ecce egredietur ad aquas: et stabis in occursum ejus super ripam fluminis: et virgam quæ conversa est in draconem, tolles in manu tua.(vulgate) 15 ׃7 לֵ֣ךְ אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֞ה בַּבֹּ֗קֶר הִנֵּה֙ יֹצֵ֣א הַמַּ֔יְמָה וְנִצַּבְתָּ֥ לִקְרָאת֖וֹ עַל־שְׂפַ֣ת הַיְאֹ֑ר וְהַמַּטֶּ֛ה אֲשֶׁר־נֶהְפַּ֥ךְ לְנָחָ֖שׁ תִּקַּ֥ח בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃ Exodus Exo 7:15 Gehe hin zu Pharao morgen. Siehe, er wird ins Wasser gehen; so tritt ihm entgegen an das Ufer des Wassers und nimm den Stab in deine Hand, der zur Schlange ward,(dhs) Exo 7:15 Go to Pharaoh in the morning, when he goes out to the water, and you shall stand by the river's bank to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:16 ============ Exo 7:16 You shall say to him, 'The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, sent me to you, saying, "Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness. But behold, you have not listened until now."(nas) Exo 7:16 καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτόν κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν Εβραίων ἀπέσταλκέν με πρὸς σὲ λέγων ἐξαπόστειλον τὸν λαόν μου ἵνα μοι λατρεύσῃ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐκ εἰσήκουσας ἕως τούτου (lxx) Exo 7:16 Dicesque ad eum: Dominus Deus Hebræorum misit me ad te, dicens: Dimitte populum meum ut sacrificet mihi in deserto: et usque ad præsens audire noluisti.(vulgate) 16 ׃7 וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֵלָ֗יו יְהוָ֞ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י הָעִבְרִים֙ שְׁלָחַ֤נִי אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר שַׁלַּח֙ אֶת־עַמִּ֔י וְיַֽעַבְדֻ֖נִי בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר וְהִנֵּ֥ה לֹא־שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ עַד־כֹּֽה׃ Exodus Exo 7:16 und sprich zu ihm: Der HERR, der Hebräer Gott, hat mich zu dir gesandt und lassen sagen: Laß mein Volk, daß mir's diene in der Wüste. Aber du hast bisher nicht wollen hören.(dhs) Exo 7:16 And you shall say to him, 'The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, "Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness"; but indeed, until now you would not hear!(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:17 ============ Exo 7:17 Thus says the Lord, "By this you shall know that I am the Lord: behold, I will strike the water that is in the Nile with the staff that is in my hand, and it will be turned to blood.(nas) Exo 7:17 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐν τούτῳ γνώσῃ ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ τύπτω τῇ ῥάβδῳ τῇ ἐν τῇ χειρί μου ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ἐν τῷ ποταμῷ καὶ μεταβαλεῖ εἰς αἷμα (lxx) Exo 7:17 Hæc igitur dicit Dominus: In hoc scies quod sim Dominus: ecce percutiam virga, quæ in manu mea est, aquam fluminis, et vertetur in sanguinem.(vulgate) 17 ׃7 כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה בְּזֹ֣את תֵּדַ֔ע כִּ֖י אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה הִנֵּ֨ה אָנֹכִ֜י מַכֶּ֣ה ׀ בַּמַּטֶּ֣ה אֲשֶׁר־בְּיָדִ֗י עַל־הַמַּ֛יִם אֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּיְאֹ֖ר וְנֶהֶפְכ֥וּ לְדָֽם׃ Exodus Exo 7:17 Darum spricht der HERR also: Daran sollst du erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin. Siehe, ich will mit dem Stabe, den ich in meiner Hand habe, das Wasser schlagen, das in dem Strom ist, und es soll in Blut verwandelt werden,(dhs) Exo 7:17 Thus says the Lord: "By this you shall know that I am the Lord. So there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:22 ============ Exo 7:22 But the magicians of Egypt did the same with their secret arts; and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.(nas) Exo 7:22 ἐποίησαν δὲ ὡσαύτως καὶ οἱ ἐπαοιδοὶ τῶν Αἰγυπτίων ταῖς φαρμακείαις αὐτῶν καὶ ἐσκληρύνθη ἡ καρδία Φαραω καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσεν αὐτῶν καθάπερ εἶπεν κύριος (lxx) Exo 7:22 Feceruntque similiter malefici Ægyptiorum incantationibus suis: et induratum est cor Pharaonis, nec audivit eos, sicut præceperat Dominus.(vulgate) 22 ׃7 וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ־כֵ֛ן חַרְטֻמֵּ֥י מִצְרַ֖יִם בְּלָטֵיהֶ֑ם וַיֶּחֱזַ֤ק לֵב־פַּרְעֹה֙ וְלֹא־שָׁמַ֣ע אֲלֵהֶ֔ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃ Exodus Exo 7:22 Und die ägyptischen Zauberer taten auch also mit ihrem Beschwören. Also ward das Herz Pharaos verstockt, und er hörte sie nicht, wie denn der HERR geredet hatte.(dhs) Exo 7:22 Then the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments; and Pharaoh's heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the Lord had said.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:23 ============ Exo 7:23 Then Pharaoh turned and went into his house with no concern even for this.(nas) Exo 7:23 ἐπιστραφεὶς δὲ Φαραω εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἐπέστησεν τὸν νοῦν αὐτοῦ οὐδὲ ἐπὶ τούτῳ (lxx) Exo 7:23 Avertitque se, et ingressus est domum suam, nec apposuit cor etiam hac vice.(vulgate) 23 ׃7 וַיִּ֣פֶן פַּרְעֹ֔ה וַיָּבֹ֖א אֶל־בֵּית֑וֹ וְלֹא־שָׁ֥ת לִבּ֖וֹ גַּם־לָזֹֽאת׃ Exodus Exo 7:23 Und Pharao wandte sich und ging heim und nahm's nicht zu Herzen.(dhs) Exo 7:23 And Pharaoh turned and went into his house. Neither was his heart moved by this.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:24 ============ Exo 7:24 So all the Egyptians dug around the Nile for water to drink, for they could not drink of the water of the Nile.(nas) Exo 7:24 ὤρυξαν δὲ πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι κύκλῳ τοῦ ποταμοῦ ὥστε πιεῖν ὕδωρ καὶ οὐκ ἠδύναντο πιεῖν ὕδωρ ἀπὸ τοῦ ποταμοῦ (lxx) Exo 7:24 Foderunt autem omnes Ægyptii per circuitum fluminis aquam ut biberent: non enim poterant bibere de aqua fluminis.(vulgate) 24 ׃7 וַיַּחְפְּר֧וּ כָל־מִצְרַ֛יִם סְבִיבֹ֥ת הַיְאֹ֖ר מַ֣יִם לִשְׁתּ֑וֹת כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יָֽכְלוּ֙ לִשְׁתֹּ֔ת מִמֵּימֵ֖י הַיְאֹֽר׃ Exodus Exo 7:24 Aber alle Ägypter gruben nach Wasser um den Strom her, zu trinken; denn das Wasser aus dem Strom konnten sie nicht trinken.(dhs) Exo 7:24 So all the Egyptians dug all around the river for water to drink, because they could not drink the water of the river.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 7:25 ============ Exo 7:25 Seven days passed after the Lord had struck the Nile.(nas) Exo 7:25 καὶ ἀνεπληρώθησαν ἑπτὰ ἡμέραι μετὰ τὸ πατάξαι κύριον τὸν ποταμόν (lxx) Exo 7:25 Impletique sunt septem dies, postquam percussit Dominus fluvium.(vulgate) 25 ׃7 וַיִּמָּלֵ֖א שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים אַחֲרֵ֥י הַכּוֹת־יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־הַיְאֹֽר׃ פ Exodus Exo 7:25 Und das währte sieben Tage lang, daß der HERR den Strom schlug.(dhs) Exo 7:25 And seven days passed after the Lord had struck the river.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 8:1 ============ top of the page
