Today's Date: ======= Exodus 6:1 ============ Exo 6:1 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for under compulsion he will let them go, and under compulsion he will drive them out of his land."(nas) Exo 6:1 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἤδη ὄψει ἃ ποιήσω τῷ Φαραω ἐν γὰρ χειρὶ κραταιᾷ ἐξαποστελεῖ αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐν βραχίονι ὑψηλῷ ἐκβαλεῖ αὐτοὺς ἐκ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Exo 6:1 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen: Nunc videbis quæ facturus sim Pharaoni: per manum enim fortem dimittet eos, et in manu robusta ejiciet illos de terra sua.(vulgate) 1 ׃6 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה עַתָּ֣ה תִרְאֶ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֽ͏ֶעֱשֶׂ֖ה לְפַרְעֹ֑ה כִּ֣י בְיָ֤ד חֲזָקָה֙ יְשַׁלְּחֵ֔ם וּבְיָ֣ד חֲזָקָ֔ה יְגָרְשֵׁ֖ם מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ ס Exodus Exo 6:1 Der HERR sprach zu Mose: Nun sollst du sehen, was ich Pharao tun werde; denn durch eine starke Hand muß er sie lassen ziehen, er muß sie noch durch eine starke Hand aus seinem Lande von sich treiben.(dhs) Exo 6:1 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh. For with a strong hand he will let them go, and with a strong hand he will drive them out of his land."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:2 ============ Exo 6:2 God spoke further to Moses and said to him, "I am the Lord;(nas) Exo 6:2 ἐλάλησεν δὲ ὁ θεὸς πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν ἐγὼ κύριος (lxx) Exo 6:2 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen dicens: Ego Dominus(vulgate) 2 ׃6 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֵלָ֖יו אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Exodus Exo 6:2 Und Gott redete mit Mose und sprach zu ihm: Ich bin der HERR(dhs) Exo 6:2 And God spoke to Moses and said to him: "I am the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:3 ============ Exo 6:3 and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name, Lord, I did not make Myself known to them.(nas) Exo 6:3 καὶ ὤφθην πρὸς Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ιακωβ θεὸς ὢν αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ ὄνομά μου κύριος οὐκ ἐδήλωσα αὐτοῖς (lxx) Exo 6:3 qui apparui Abraham, Isaac et Jacob in Deo omnipotente: et nomen meum Adonai non indicavi eis.(vulgate) 3 ׃6 וָאֵרָ֗א אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֛ם אֶל־יִצְחָ֥ק וְאֶֽל־יַעֲקֹ֖ב בְּאֵ֣ל שַׁדָּ֑י וּשְׁמִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה לֹ֥א נוֹדַ֖עְתִּי לָהֶֽם׃ Exodus Exo 6:3 und bin erschienen Abraham, Isaak und Jakob als der allmächtige Gott; aber mein Name HERR ist ihnen nicht offenbart worden.(dhs) Exo 6:3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Lord I was not known to them.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:4 ============ Exo 6:4 I also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they sojourned.(nas) Exo 6:4 καὶ ἔστησα τὴν διαθήκην μου πρὸς αὐτοὺς ὥστε δοῦναι αὐτοῖς τὴν γῆν τῶν Χαναναίων τὴν γῆν ἣν παρῳκήκασιν ἐν ᾗ καὶ παρῴκησαν ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς (lxx) Exo 6:4 Pepigique fœdus cum eis, ut darem eis terram Chanaan, terram peregrinationis eorum, in qua fuerunt advenæ.(vulgate) 4 ׃6 וְגַ֨ם הֲקִמֹ֤תִי אֶת־בְּרִיתִי֙ אִתָּ֔ם לָתֵ֥ת לָהֶ֖ם אֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן אֵ֛ת אֶ֥רֶץ מְגֻרֵיהֶ֖ם אֲשֶׁר־גָּ֥רוּ בָֽהּ׃ Exodus Exo 6:4 Auch habe ich einen Bund mit ihnen aufgerichtet, daß ich ihnen geben will das Land Kanaan, das Land ihrer Wallfahrt, darin sie Fremdlinge gewesen sind.(dhs) Exo 6:4 I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were strangers.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:5 ============ Exo 6:5 Furthermore I have heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, because the Egyptians are holding them in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant.(nas) Exo 6:5 καὶ ἐγὼ εἰσήκουσα τὸν στεναγμὸν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ὃν οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι καταδουλοῦνται αὐτούς καὶ ἐμνήσθην τῆς διαθήκης ὑμῶν (lxx) Exo 6:5 Ego audivi gemitum filiorum Israël, quo Ægyptii oppresserunt eos: et recordatus sum pacti mei.(vulgate) 5 ׃6 וְגַ֣ם ׀ אֲנִ֣י שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי אֶֽת־נַאֲקַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר מִצְרַ֖יִם מַעֲבִדִ֣ים אֹתָ֑ם וָאֶזְכֹּ֖ר אֶת־בְּרִיתִֽי׃ Exodus Exo 6:5 Auch habe ich gehört die Wehklage der Kinder Israel, welche die Ägypter mit Frönen beschweren, und habe an meinen Bund gedacht.(dhs) Exo 6:5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:6 ============ Exo 6:6 Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, 'I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage. I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.(nas) Exo 6:6 βάδιζε εἰπὸν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων ἐγὼ κύριος καὶ ἐξάξω ὑμᾶς ἀπὸ τῆς δυναστείας τῶν Αἰγυπτίων καὶ ῥύσομαι ὑμᾶς ἐκ τῆς δουλείας καὶ λυτρώσομαι ὑμᾶς ἐν βραχίονι ὑψηλῷ καὶ κρίσει μεγάλῃ (lxx) Exo 6:6 Ideo dic filiis Israël: Ego Dominus qui educam vos de ergastulo Ægyptiorum, et eruam de servitute, ac redimam in brachio excelso et judiciis magnis.(vulgate) 6 ׃6 לָכֵ֞ן אֱמֹ֥ר לִבְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֘ אֲנִ֣י יְהוָה֒ וְהוֹצֵאתִ֣י אֶתְכֶ֗ם מִתַּ֙חַת֙ סִבְלֹ֣ת מִצְרַ֔יִם וְהִצַּלְתִּ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם מֵעֲבֹדָתָ֑ם וְגָאַלְתִּ֤י אֶתְכֶם֙ בִּזְר֣וֹעַ נְטוּיָ֔ה וּבִשְׁפָטִ֖ים גְּדֹלִֽים׃ Exodus Exo 6:6 Darum sage den Kindern Israel: Ich bin der HERR und will euch ausführen von euren Lasten in Ägypten und will euch erretten von eurem Frönen und will euch erlösen durch ausgereckten Arm und große Gerichte(dhs) Exo 6:6 Therefore say to the children of Israel: 'I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:7 ============ Exo 6:7 Then I will take you for My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.(nas) Exo 6:7 καὶ λήμψομαι ἐμαυτῷ ὑμᾶς λαὸν ἐμοὶ καὶ ἔσομαι ὑμῶν θεός καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν ὁ ἐξαγαγὼν ὑμᾶς ἐκ τῆς καταδυναστείας τῶν Αἰγυπτίων (lxx) Exo 6:7 Et assumam vos mihi in populum, et ero vester Deus: et scietis quod ego sum Dominus Deus vester qui eduxerim vos de ergastulo Ægyptiorum,(vulgate) 7 ׃6 וְלָקַחְתִּ֨י אֶתְכֶ֥ם לִי֙ לְעָ֔ם וְהָיִ֥יתִי לָכֶ֖ם לֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים וִֽידַעְתֶּ֗ם כִּ֣י אֲנִ֤י יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם הַמּוֹצִ֣יא אֶתְכֶ֔ם מִתַּ֖חַת סִבְל֥וֹת מִצְרָֽיִם׃ Exodus Exo 6:7 und will euch annehmen zum Volk und will euer Gott sein, daß ihr's erfahren sollt, daß ich der HERR bin, euer Gott, der euch ausführt von der Last Ägyptens(dhs) Exo 6:7 I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:8 ============ Exo 6:8 I will bring you to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you for a possession; I am the Lord.'"(nas) Exo 6:8 καὶ εἰσάξω ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν γῆν εἰς ἣν ἐξέτεινα τὴν χεῖρά μου δοῦναι αὐτὴν τῷ Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ιακωβ καὶ δώσω ὑμῖν αὐτὴν ἐν κλήρῳ ἐγὼ κύριος (lxx) Exo 6:8 et induxerim in terram, super quam levavi manum meam ut darem eam Abraham, Isaac et Jacob: daboque illam vobis possidendam. Ego Dominus.~(vulgate) 8 ׃6 וְהֵבֵאתִ֤י אֶתְכֶם֙ אֶל־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֤ר נָשָׂ֙אתִי֙ אֶת־יָדִ֔י לָתֵ֣ת אֹתָ֔הּ לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם לְיִצְחָ֖ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֑ב וְנָתַתִּ֨י אֹתָ֥הּ לָכֶ֛ם מוֹרָשָׁ֖ה אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Exodus Exo 6:8 und euch bringt in das Land, darüber ich habe meine Hand gehoben, daß ich's gäbe Abraham, Isaak und Jakob; das will ich euch geben zu eigen, ich, der HERR.(dhs) Exo 6:8 And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the Lord.' "(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:9 ============ Exo 6:9 So Moses spoke thus to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses on account of their despondency and cruel bondage.(nas) Exo 6:9 ἐλάλησεν δὲ Μωυσῆς οὕτως τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσαν Μωυσῇ ἀπὸ τῆς ὀλιγοψυχίας καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἔργων τῶν σκληρῶν (lxx) Exo 6:9 Narravit ergo Moyses omnia filiis Israël: qui non acquieverunt ei propter angustiam spiritus, et opus durissimum.(vulgate) 9 ׃6 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר מֹשֶׁ֛ה כֵּ֖ן אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֤א שָֽׁמְעוּ֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה מִקֹּ֣צֶר ר֔וּחַ וּמֵעֲבֹדָ֖ה קָשָֽׁה׃ פ Exodus Exo 6:9 Mose sagte solches den Kindern Israel; aber sie hörten ihn nicht vor Seufzen und Angst vor harter Arbeit.(dhs) Exo 6:9 So Moses spoke thus to the children of Israel; but they did not heed Moses, because of anguish of spirit and cruel bondage.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:10 ============ Exo 6:10 Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nas) Exo 6:10 εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων (lxx) Exo 6:10 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:(vulgate) 10 ׃6 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Exodus Exo 6:10 Da redete der HERR mit Mose und sprach:(dhs) Exo 6:10 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:11 ============ Exo 6:11 "Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the sons of Israel go out of his land."(nas) Exo 6:11 εἴσελθε λάλησον Φαραω βασιλεῖ Αἰγύπτου ἵνα ἐξαποστείλῃ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Exo 6:11 Ingredere, et loquere ad Pharaonem regem Ægypti, ut dimittat filios Israël de terra sua.(vulgate) 11 ׃6 בֹּ֣א דַבֵּ֔ר אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרָ֑יִם וִֽישַׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃ Exodus Exo 6:11 Gehe hinein und rede mit Pharao, dem König in Ägypten, daß er die Kinder Israel aus seinem Lande lasse.(dhs) Exo 6:11 "Go in, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the children of Israel go out of his land."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:12 ============ Exo 6:12 But Moses spoke before the Lord, saying, "Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me; how then will Pharaoh listen to me, for I am unskilled in speech?"(nas) Exo 6:12 ἐλάλησεν δὲ Μωυσῆς ἔναντι κυρίου λέγων ἰδοὺ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ οὐκ εἰσήκουσάν μου καὶ πῶς εἰσακούσεταί μου Φαραω ἐγὼ δὲ ἄλογός εἰμι (lxx) Exo 6:12 Respondit Moyses coram Domino: Ecce filii Israël non audiunt me: et quomodo audiet Pharao, præsertim cum incircumcisus sim labiis?(vulgate) 12 ׃6 וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר מֹשֶׁ֔ה לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר הֵ֤ן בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לֹֽא־שָׁמְע֣וּ אֵלַ֔י וְאֵיךְ֙ יִשְׁמָעֵ֣נִי פַרְעֹ֔ה וַאֲנִ֖י עֲרַ֥ל שְׂפָתָֽיִם׃ פ Exodus Exo 6:12 Mose aber redete vor dem HERRN und sprach: Siehe, die Kinder Israel hören mich nicht; wie sollte mich denn Pharao hören? Dazu bin ich von unbeschnittenen Lippen.(dhs) Exo 6:12 And Moses spoke before the Lord, saying, "The children of Israel have not heeded me. How then shall Pharaoh heed me, for I am of uncircumcised lips?"(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:13 ============ Exo 6:13 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a charge to the sons of Israel and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt.(nas) Exo 6:13 εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων καὶ συνέταξεν αὐτοῖς πρὸς Φαραω βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου ὥστε ἐξαποστεῖλαι τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου (lxx) Exo 6:13 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron, et dedit mandatum ad filios Israël, et ad Pharaonem regem Ægypti ut educerent filios Israël de terra Ægypti.~(vulgate) 13 ׃6 וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָה֮ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֣ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹן֒ וַיְצַוֵּם֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶל־פַּרְעֹ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרָ֑יִם לְהוֹצִ֥יא אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ ס Exodus Exo 6:13 Also redete der HERR mit Mose und Aaron und tat ihnen Befehl an die Kinder Israel und an Pharao, den König in Ägypten, daß sie die Kinder Israel aus Ägypten führten.(dhs) Exo 6:13 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, and gave them a command for the children of Israel and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:14 ============ Exo 6:14 These are the heads of their fathers' households. The sons of Reuben, Israel's firstborn: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.(nas) Exo 6:14 καὶ οὗτοι ἀρχηγοὶ οἴκων πατριῶν αὐτῶν υἱοὶ Ρουβην πρωτοτόκου Ισραηλ Ενωχ καὶ Φαλλους Ασρων καὶ Χαρμι αὕτη ἡ συγγένεια Ρουβην (lxx) Exo 6:14 Isti sunt principes domorum per familias suas. Filii Ruben primogeniti Israëlis: Henoch et Phallu, Hesron et Charmi:(vulgate) 14 ׃6 אֵ֖לֶּה רָאשֵׁ֣י בֵית־אֲבֹתָ֑ם בְּנֵ֨י רְאוּבֵ֜ן בְּכֹ֣ר יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל חֲנ֤וֹךְ וּפַלּוּא֙ חֶצְר֣וֹן וְכַרְמִ֔י אֵ֖לֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת רְאוּבֵֽן׃ Exodus Exo 6:14 Dies sind die Häupter in ihren Vaterhäusern. Die Kinder Rubens, des ersten Sohnes Israels, sind diese: Henoch, Pallu, Hezron, Charmi. These are the families of Reuben.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:15 ============ Exo 6:15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.(nas) Exo 6:15 καὶ υἱοὶ Συμεων Ιεμουηλ καὶ Ιαμιν καὶ Αωδ καὶ Ιαχιν καὶ Σααρ καὶ Σαουλ ὁ ἐκ τῆς Φοινίσσης αὗται αἱ πατριαὶ τῶν υἱῶν Συμεων (lxx) Exo 6:15 hæ cognationes Ruben. Filii Simeon: Jamuel, et Jamin, et Ahod, et Jachin, et Soar, et Saul filius Chananitidis: hæ progenies Simeon.(vulgate) 15 ׃6 וּבְנֵ֣י שִׁמְע֗וֹן יְמוּאֵ֨ל וְיָמִ֤ין וְאֹ֙הַד֙ וְיָכִ֣ין וְצֹ֔חַר וְשָׁא֖וּל בֶּן־הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֑ית אֵ֖לֶּה מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת שִׁמְעֽוֹן׃ Exodus Exo 6:15 Die Kinder Simeons sind diese: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar und Saul, der Sohn des kanaanäischen Weibes. These are the families of Simeon.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 6:16 ============ Exo 6:16 These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon and Kohath and Merari; and the length of Levi's life was one hundred and thirty-seven years.(nas) Exo 6:16 καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Λευι κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν Γεδσων Κααθ καὶ Μεραρι καὶ τὰ ἔτη τῆς ζωῆς Λευι ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἑπτά (lxx) Exo 6:16 Et hæc nomina filiorum Levi per cognationes suas: Gerson, et Caath, et Merari. Anni autem vitæ Levi fuerunt centum triginta septem.(vulgate) 16 ׃6 וְאֵ֨לֶּה שְׁמ֤וֹת בְּנֵֽי־לֵוִי֙ לְתֹ֣לְדֹתָ֔ם גֵּרְשׁ֕וֹן וּקְהָ֖ת וּמְרָרִ֑י וּשְׁנֵי֙ חַיֵּ֣י לֵוִ֔י שֶׁ֧בַע וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֛ים וּמְאַ֖ת שָׁנָֽה׃ Exodus Exo 6:16 Dies sind die Namen der Kinder Levis nach ihren Geschlechtern: Gerson, Kahath, Merari.
