Today's Date: ======= Leviticus 6:1 ============ Lev 6:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nas) Lev 5:20 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων (lxx) Lev 6:1 Locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:(vulgate) 20 ׃5 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Leviticus Lev 6:1 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:(dhs) Lev 6:1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:2 ============ Lev 6:2 "When a person sins and acts unfaithfully against the Lord, and deceives his companion in regard to a deposit or a security entrusted to him, or through robbery, or if he has extorted from his companion,(nas) Lev 5:21 ψυχὴ ἐὰν ἁμάρτῃ καὶ παριδὼν παρίδῃ τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου καὶ ψεύσηται τὰ πρὸς τὸν πλησίον ἐν παραθήκῃ ἢ περὶ κοινωνίας ἢ περὶ ἁρπαγῆς ἢ ἠδίκησέν τι τὸν πλησίον (lxx) Lev 6:2 Anima quæ peccaverit, et contempto Domino, negaverit proximo suo depositum quod fidei ejus creditum fuerat, vel vi aliquid extorserit, aut calumniam fecerit,(vulgate) 21 ׃5 נֶ֚פֶשׁ כִּ֣י תֶחֱטָ֔א וּמָעֲלָ֥ה מַ֖עַל בַּיהוָ֑ה וְכִחֵ֨שׁ בַּעֲמִית֜וֹ בְּפִקָּד֗וֹן אֽוֹ־בִתְשׂ֤וּמֶת יָד֙ א֣וֹ בְגָזֵ֔ל א֖וֹ עָשַׁ֥ק אֶת־עֲמִיתֽוֹ׃ Leviticus Lev 6:2 Wenn jemand sündigen würde und sich damit an dem Herrn vergreifen, daß er seinem Nebenmenschen ableugnet, was ihm dieser befohlen hat, oder was ihm zu treuer Hand getan ist, oder was er sich mit Gewalt genommen oder mit Unrecht an sich gebracht,(dhs) Lev 6:2 "If a person sins and commits a trespass against the Lord by lying to his neighbor about what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or about a pledge, or about a robbery, or if he has extorted from his neighbor,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:3 ============ Lev 6:3 or has found what was lost and lied about it and sworn falsely, so that he sins in regard to any one of the things a man may do;(nas) Lev 5:22 ἢ εὗρεν ἀπώλειαν καὶ ψεύσηται περὶ αὐτῆς καὶ ὀμόσῃ ἀδίκως περὶ ἑνὸς ἀπὸ πάντων ὧν ἐὰν ποιήσῃ ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὥστε ἁμαρτεῖν ἐν τούτοις (lxx) Lev 6:3 sive rem perditam invenerit, et inficians insuper pejeraverit, et quodlibet aliud ex pluribus fecerit, in quibus solent peccare homines,(vulgate) 22 ׃5 אֽוֹ־מָצָ֧א אֲבֵדָ֛ה וְכִ֥חֶשׁ בָּ֖הּ וְנִשְׁבַּ֣ע עַל־שָׁ֑קֶר עַל־אַחַ֗ת מִכֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה הָאָדָ֖ם לַחֲטֹ֥א בָהֵֽנָּה׃ Leviticus Lev 6:3 oder wenn er, was verloren ist, gefunden hat, und leugnet solches und tut einen falschen Eid über irgend etwas, darin ein Mensch wider seinen Nächsten Sünde tut;(dhs) Lev 6:3 or if he has found what was lost and lies concerning it, and swears falsely--in any one of these things that a man may do in which he sins:(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:4 ============ Lev 6:4 then it shall be, when he sins and becomes guilty, that he shall restore what he took by robbery or what he got by extortion, or the deposit which was entrusted to him or the lost thing which he found,(nas) Lev 5:23 καὶ ἔσται ἡνίκα ἐὰν ἁμάρτῃ καὶ πλημμελήσῃ καὶ ἀποδῷ τὸ ἅρπαγμα ὃ ἥρπασεν ἢ τὸ ἀδίκημα ὃ ἠδίκησεν ἢ τὴν παραθήκην ἥτις παρετέθη αὐτῷ ἢ τὴν ἀπώλειαν ἣν εὗρεν (lxx) Lev 6:4 convicta delicti,(vulgate) 23 ׃5 וְהָיָה֮ כִּֽי־יֶחֱטָ֣א וְאָשֵׁם֒ וְהֵשִׁ֨יב אֶת־הַגְּזֵלָ֜ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר גָּזָ֗ל א֤וֹ אֶת־הָעֹ֙שֶׁק֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׁ֔ק א֚וֹ אֶת־הַפִּקָּד֔וֹן אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָפְקַ֖ד אִתּ֑וֹ א֥וֹ אֶת־הָאֲבֵדָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר מָצָֽא׃ Leviticus Lev 6:4 wenn's nun geschieht, daß er also sündigt und sich verschuldet, so soll er wiedergeben, was er mit Gewalt genommen oder mit Unrecht an sich gebracht, oder was ihm befohlen ist, oder was er gefunden hat,(dhs) Lev 6:4 then it shall be, because he has sinned and is guilty, that he shall restore what he has stolen, or the thing which he has extorted, or what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or the lost thing which he found,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:5 ============ Lev 6:5 or anything about which he swore falsely; he shall make restitution for it in full and add to it one-fifth more. He shall give it to the one to whom it belongs on the day he presents his guilt offering.(nas) Lev 5:24 ἀπὸ παντὸς πράγματος οὗ ὤμοσεν περὶ αὐτοῦ ἀδίκως καὶ ἀποτείσει αὐτὸ τὸ κεφάλαιον καὶ τὸ πέμπτον προσθήσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτό τίνος ἐστίν αὐτῷ ἀποδώσει ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐλεγχθῇ (lxx) Lev 6:5 reddet omnia, quæ per fraudem voluit obtinere, integra, et quintam insuper partem domino cui damnum intulerat.(vulgate) 24 ׃5 א֠וֹ מִכֹּ֞ל אֲשֶׁר־יִשָּׁבַ֣ע עָלָיו֮ לַשֶּׁקֶר֒ וְשִׁלַּ֤ם אֹתוֹ֙ בְּרֹאשׁ֔וֹ וַחֲמִשִׁתָ֖יו יֹסֵ֣ף עָלָ֑יו לַאֲשֶׁ֨ר ה֥וּא ל֛וֹ יִתְּנֶ֖נּוּ בְּי֥וֹם אַשְׁמָתֽוֹ׃ Leviticus Lev 6:5 oder worüber er den falschen Eid getan hat; das soll er alles ganz wiedergeben, dazu den fünften Teil darüber geben dem, des es gewesen ist, des Tages, wenn er sein Schuldopfer gibt.(dhs) Lev 6:5 or all that about which he has sworn falsely. He shall restore its full value, add one-fifth more to it, and give it to whomever it belongs, on the day of his trespass offering.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:6 ============ Lev 6:6 Then he shall bring to the priest his guilt offering to the Lord, a ram without defect from the flock, according to your valuation, for a guilt offering,(nas) Lev 5:25 καὶ τῆς πλημμελείας αὐτοῦ οἴσει τῷ κυρίῳ κριὸν ἀπὸ τῶν προβάτων ἄμωμον τιμῆς εἰς ὃ ἐπλημμέλησεν αὐτῷ (lxx) Lev 6:6 Pro peccato autem suo offeret arietem immaculatum de grege, et dabit eum sacerdoti, juxta æstimationem mensuramque delicti:(vulgate) 25 ׃5 וְאֶת־אֲשָׁמ֥וֹ יָבִ֖יא לַיהוָ֑ה אַ֣יִל תָּמִ֧ים מִן־הַצֹּ֛אן בְּעֶרְכְּךָ֥ לְאָשָׁ֖ם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ Leviticus Lev 6:6 Aber für seine Schuld soll er dem HERRN zu dem Priester einen Widder von der Herde ohne Fehl bringen, der eines Schuldopfers wert ist.(dhs) Lev 6:6 And he shall bring his trespass offering to the Lord, a ram without blemish from the flock, with your valuation, as a trespass offering, to the priest.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:7 ============ Lev 6:7 and the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, and he will be forgiven for any one of the things which he may have done to incur guilt."(nas) Lev 5:26 καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἀφεθήσεται αὐτῷ περὶ ἑνὸς ἀπὸ πάντων ὧν ἐποίησεν καὶ ἐπλημμέλησεν αὐτῷ (lxx) Lev 6:7 qui rogabit pro eo coram Domino, et dimittetur illi pro singulis quæ faciendo peccavit.~(vulgate) 26 ׃5 וְכִפֶּ֨ר עָלָ֧יו הַכֹּהֵ֛ן לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה וְנִסְלַ֣ח ל֑וֹ עַל־אַחַ֛ת מִכֹּ֥ל אֲשֶֽׁר־יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה לְאַשְׁמָ֥ה בָֽהּ׃ פ Leviticus Lev 6:7 So soll ihn der Priester versöhnen vor dem HERRN, so wird ihm vergeben alles, was er getan hat, darum er sich verschuldet hat.(dhs) Lev 6:7 So the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, and he shall be forgiven for any one of these things that he may have done in which he trespasses."(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:8 ============ Lev 6:8 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nas) Lev 6:1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων (lxx) Lev 6:8 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:(vulgate) 1 ׃6 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Leviticus Lev 6:8 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:(dhs) Lev 6:8 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:9 ============ Lev 6:9 "Command Aaron and his sons, saying, 'This is the law for the burnt offering: the burnt offering itself shall remain on the hearth on the altar all night until the morning, and the fire on the altar is to be kept burning on it.(nas) Lev 6:2 ἔντειλαι Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ λέγων οὗτος ὁ νόμος τῆς ὁλοκαυτώσεως αὐτὴ ἡ ὁλοκαύτωσις ἐπὶ τῆς καύσεως αὐτῆς ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου ὅλην τὴν νύκτα ἕως τὸ πρωί καὶ τὸ πῦρ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καυθήσεται ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ οὐ σβεσθήσεται (lxx) Lev 6:9 Præcipe Aaron et filiis ejus: Hæc est lex holocausti: cremabitur in altari tota nocte usque mane: ignis ex eodem altari erit.(vulgate) 2 ׃6 צַ֤ו אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶת־בָּנָ֣יו לֵאמֹ֔ר זֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הָעֹלָ֑ה הִ֣וא הָעֹלָ֡ה עַל֩ מוֹקְדָ֨ה עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַ כָּל־הַלַּ֙יְלָה֙ עַד־הַבֹּ֔קֶר וְאֵ֥שׁ הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ תּ֥וּקַד בּֽוֹ׃ Leviticus Lev 6:9 Gebiete Aaron und seinen Söhnen und sprich: Dies ist das Gesetz des Brandopfers. Das Brandopfer soll brennen auf dem Herd des Altars die ganze Nacht bis an den Morgen, und es soll des Altars Feuer brennend darauf erhalten werden.(dhs) Lev 6:9 "Command Aaron and his sons, saying, 'This is the law of the burnt offering: The burnt offering shall be on the hearth upon the altar all night until morning, and the fire of the altar shall be kept burning on it.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:10 ============ Lev 6:10 The priest is to put on his linen robe, and he shall put on undergarments next to his flesh; and he shall take up the ashes to which the fire reduces the burnt offering on the altar and place them beside the altar.(nas) Lev 6:3 καὶ ἐνδύσεται ὁ ἱερεὺς χιτῶνα λινοῦν καὶ περισκελὲς λινοῦν ἐνδύσεται περὶ τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀφελεῖ τὴν κατακάρπωσιν ἣν ἂν καταναλώσῃ τὸ πῦρ τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν ἀπὸ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ παραθήσει αὐτὸ ἐχόμενον τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου (lxx) Lev 6:10 Vestietur tunica sacerdos et feminalibus lineis: tolletque cineres, quos vorans ignis exussit, et ponens juxta altare,(vulgate) 3 ׃6 וְלָבַ֨שׁ הַכֹּהֵ֜ן מִדּ֣וֹ בַ֗ד וּמִֽכְנְסֵי־בַד֮ יִלְבַּ֣שׁ עַל־בְּשָׂרוֹ֒ וְהֵרִ֣ים אֶת־הַדֶּ֗שׁ[c]ן אֲשֶׁ֨ר תֹּאכַ֥ל הָאֵ֛שׁ אֶת־הָעֹלָ֖ה עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְשָׂמ֕וֹ אֵ֖צֶל הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ Leviticus Lev 6:10 Und der Priester soll seinen leinenen Rock anziehen und die leinenen Beinkleider an seinen Leib und soll die Asche aufheben, die das Feuer auf dem Altar gemacht hat, und soll sie neben den Altar schütten.(dhs) Lev 6:10 And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen trousers he shall put on his body, and take up the ashes of the burnt offering which the fire has consumed on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:11 ============ Lev 6:11 Then he shall take off his garments and put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.(nas) Lev 6:4 καὶ ἐκδύσεται τὴν στολὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐνδύσεται στολὴν ἄλλην καὶ ἐξοίσει τὴν κατακάρπωσιν ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς εἰς τόπον καθαρόν (lxx) Lev 6:11 spoliabitur prioribus vestimentis, indutusque aliis, efferret eos extra castra, et in loco mundissimo usque ad favillam consumi faciet.(vulgate) 4 ׃6 וּפָשַׁט֙ אֶת־בְּגָדָ֔יו וְלָבַ֖שׁ בְּגָדִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֑ים וְהוֹצִ֤יא אֶת־הַדֶּ֙שֶׁן֙ אֶל־מִח֣וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה אֶל־מָק֖וֹם טָהֽוֹר׃ Leviticus Lev 6:11 und soll seine Kleider darnach ausziehen und andere Kleider anziehen und die Asche hinaustragen aus dem Lager an eine reine Stätte.(dhs) Lev 6:11 Then he shall take off his garments, put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:12 ============ Lev 6:12 The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it. It shall not go out, but the priest shall burn wood on it every morning; and he shall lay out the burnt offering on it, and offer up in smoke the fat portions of the peace offerings on it.(nas) Lev 6:5 καὶ πῦρ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καυθήσεται ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐ σβεσθήσεται καὶ καύσει ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ ξύλα τὸ πρωὶ καὶ στοιβάσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ ἐπιθήσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ τὸ στέαρ τοῦ σωτηρίου (lxx) Lev 6:12 Ignis autem in altari semper ardebit, quem nutriet sacerdos subjiciens ligna mane per singulos dies, et imposito holocausto, desuper adolebit adipes pacificorum.(vulgate) 5 ׃6 וְהָאֵ֨שׁ עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַ תּֽוּקַד־בּוֹ֙ לֹ֣א תִכְבֶּ֔ה וּבִעֵ֨ר עָלֶ֧יהָ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן עֵצִ֖ים בַּבֹּ֣קֶר בַּבֹּ֑קֶר וְעָרַ֤ךְ עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ הָֽעֹלָ֔ה וְהִקְטִ֥יר עָלֶ֖יהָ חֶלְבֵ֥י הַשְּׁלָמִֽים׃ Leviticus Lev 6:12 Das Feuer auf dem Altar soll brennen und nimmer verlöschen; der Priester soll alle Morgen Holz darauf anzünden und obendarauf das Brandopfer zurichten und das Fett der Dankopfer darauf anzünden.(dhs) Lev 6:12 And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:13 ============ Lev 6:13 Fire shall be kept burning continually on the altar; it is not to go out.(nas) Lev 6:6 καὶ πῦρ διὰ παντὸς καυθήσεται ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον οὐ σβεσθήσεται (lxx) Lev 6:13 Ignis est iste perpetuus, qui numquam deficiet in altari.(vulgate) 6 ׃6 אֵ֗שׁ תָּמִ֛יד תּוּקַ֥ד עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ לֹ֥א תִכְבֶֽה׃ ס Leviticus Lev 6:13 Ewig soll das Feuer auf dem Altar brennen und nimmer verlöschen.(dhs) Lev 6:13 A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:14 ============ Lev 6:14 'Now this is the law of the grain offering: the sons of Aaron shall present it before the Lord in front of the altar.(nas) Lev 6:7 οὗτος ὁ νόμος τῆς θυσίας ἣν προσάξουσιν αὐτὴν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων ἔναντι κυρίου ἀπέναντι τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου (lxx) Lev 6:14 Hæc est lex sacrificii et libamentorum, quæ offerent filii Aaron coram Domino, et coram altari.(vulgate) 7 ׃6 וְזֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַמִּנְחָ֑ה הַקְרֵ֨ב אֹתָ֤הּ בְּנֵֽי־אַהֲרֹן֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־פְּנֵ֖י הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ Leviticus Lev 6:14 Und das ist das Gesetz des Speisopfers, das Aarons Söhne opfern sollen vor dem HERRN auf dem Altar.(dhs) Lev 6:14 'This is the law of the grain offering: The sons of Aaron shall offer it on the altar before the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:15 ============ Lev 6:15 Then one of them shall lift up from it a handful of the fine flour of the grain offering, with its oil and all the incense that is on the grain offering, and he shall offer it up in smoke on the altar, a soothing aroma, as its memorial offering to the Lord.(nas) Lev 6:8 καὶ ἀφελεῖ ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ τῇ δρακὶ ἀπὸ τῆς σεμιδάλεως τῆς θυσίας σὺν τῷ ἐλαίῳ αὐτῆς καὶ σὺν τῷ λιβάνῳ αὐτῆς τὰ ὄντα ἐπὶ τῆς θυσίας καὶ ἀνοίσει ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κάρπωμα ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς τῷ κυρίῳ (lxx) Lev 6:15 Tollet sacerdos pugillum similæ, quæ conspersa est oleo, et totum thus, quod super similam positum est: adolebitque illud in altari in monimentum odoris suavissimi Domino:(vulgate) 8 ׃6 וְהֵרִ֨ים מִמֶּ֜נּוּ בְּקֻמְצ֗וֹ מִסֹּ֤לֶת הַמִּנְחָה֙ וּמִשַּׁמְנָ֔הּ וְאֵת֙ כָּל־הַלְּבֹנָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־הַמִּנְחָ֑ה וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חַ רֵ֧יחַ נִיחֹ֛חַ אַזְכָּרָתָ֖הּ לַיהוָֽה׃ Leviticus Lev 6:15 Es soll einer abheben eine Handvoll Semmelmehl vom Speisopfer und vom Öl und den ganzen Weihrauch, der auf dem Speisopfer liegt, und soll's anzünden auf dem Altar zum süßen Geruch, ein Gedächtnis dem HERRN.(dhs) Lev 6:15 He shall take from it his handful of the fine flour of the grain offering, with its oil, and all the frankincense which is on the grain offering, and shall burn it on the altar for a sweet aroma, as a memorial to the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:16 ============ Lev 6:16 What is left of it Aaron and his sons are to eat. It shall be eaten as unleavened cakes in a holy place; they are to eat it in the court of the tent of meeting.(nas) Lev 6:9 τὸ δὲ καταλειφθὲν ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς ἔδεται Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ἄζυμα βρωθήσεται ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ ἐν αὐλῇ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἔδονται αὐτήν (lxx) Lev 6:16 reliquam autem partem similæ comedet Aaron cum filiis suis, absque fermento: et comedet in loco sancto atrii tabernaculi.(vulgate) 9 ׃6 וְהַנּוֹתֶ֣רֶת מִמֶּ֔נָּה יֹאכְל֖וּ אַהֲרֹ֣ן וּבָנָ֑יו מַצּ֤וֹת תֵּֽאָכֵל֙ בְּמָק֣וֹם קָדֹ֔שׁ בַּחֲצַ֥ר אֹֽהֶל־מוֹעֵ֖ד יֹאכְלֽוּהָ׃ Leviticus Lev 6:16 Das übrige aber sollen Aaron und seine Söhne verzehren und sollen's ungesäuert essen an heiliger Stätte, im Vorhof der Hütte des Stifts.(dhs) Lev 6:16 And the remainder of it Aaron and his sons shall eat; with unleavened bread it shall be eaten in a holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of meeting they shall eat it.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 6:17 ============ Lev 6:17 It shall not be baked with leaven.
