Sei mir ein starker Fels und eine Burg, daß du mir helfest!(dhs) Psa 31:2 Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:3 ============ Psa 31:3 For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name's sake, Lead me and guide me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:4 ============ Psa 31:4 You will pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength.(nas) Psa 31:4 ὅτι κραταίωμά μου καὶ καταφυγή μου εἶ σὺ καὶ ἕνεκεν τοῦ ὀνόματός σου ὁδηγήσεις με καὶ διαθρέψεις με (lxx) Psa 31:4 [Vulgate 30:5] educes me de rete quod absconderunt mihi quia tu fortitudo mea es(vulgate) 5 ׃31 תּוֹצִיאֵ֗נִי מֵרֶ֣שֶׁת ז֭וּ טָ֣מְנוּ לִ֑י כִּֽי־אַ֝תָּה מָֽעוּזִּי׃ Psalms Psa 31:4 Du wollest mich aus dem Netze ziehen, das sie mir gestellt haben; denn du bist meine Stärke.(dhs) Psa 31:4 Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me, For You are my strength.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:5 ============ Psa 31:5 Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth.(nas) Psa 31:5 ἐξάξεις με ἐκ παγίδος ταύτης ἧς ἔκρυψάν μοι ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ ὑπερασπιστής μου (lxx) Psa 31:5 [Vulgate 30:6] in manu tua commendabo spiritum meum redemisti me Domine Deus veritatis(vulgate) 6 ׃31 בְּיָדְךָ֮ אַפְקִ֢יד ר֫וּחִ֥י פָּדִ֖יתָה אוֹתִ֥י יְהוָ֗ה אֵ֣ל אֱמֶֽת׃ Psalms Psa 31:5 In deine Hände befehle ich meinen Geist; du hast mich erlöst, HERR, du treuer Gott.(dhs) Psa 31:5 Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:6 ============ Psa 31:6 I hate those who regard vain idols, But I trust in the Lord.(nas) Psa 31:6 εἰς χεῖράς σου παραθήσομαι τὸ πνεῦμά μου ἐλυτρώσω με κύριε ὁ θεὸς τῆς ἀληθείας (lxx) Psa 31:6 [Vulgate 30:7] odisti custodientes vanitates frustra ego autem in Domino confisus sum(vulgate) 7 ׃31 שָׂנֵ֗אתִי הַשֹּׁמְרִ֥ים הַבְלֵי־שָׁ֑וא וַ֝אֲנִ֗י אֶל־יְהוָ֥ה בָּטָֽחְתִּי׃ Psalms Psa 31:6 Ich hasse, die da halten auf eitle Götzen; ich aber hoffe auf den HERRN.(dhs) Psa 31:6 I have hated those who regard useless idols; But I trust in the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:7 ============ Psa 31:7 I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness, Because You have seen my affliction; You have known the troubles of my soul,(nas) Psa 31:7 ἐμίσησας τοὺς διαφυλάσσοντας ματαιότητας διὰ κενῆς ἐγὼ δὲ ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ ἤλπισα (lxx) Psa 31:7 [Vulgate 30:8] exultabo et laetabor in misericordia tua quia vidisti adflictionem meam cognovisti tribulationes animae meae(vulgate) 8 ׃31 אָגִ֥ילָה וְאֶשְׂמְחָ֗ה בְּחַ֫סְדֶּ֥ךָ אֲשֶׁ֣ר רָ֭אִיתָ אֶת־עָנְיִ֑י יָ֝דַ֗עְתָּ בְּצָר֥וֹת נַפְשִֽׁי׃ Psalms Psa 31:7 Ich freue mich und bin fröhlich über deine Güte, daß du mein Elend ansiehst und erkennst meine Seele in der Not(dhs) Psa 31:7 I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, For You have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities,(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:8 ============ Psa 31:8 And You have not given me over into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a large place.(nas) Psa 31:8 ἀγαλλιάσομαι καὶ εὐφρανθήσομαι ἐπὶ τῷ ἐλέει σου ὅτι ἐπεῖδες τὴν ταπείνωσίν μου ἔσωσας ἐκ τῶν ἀναγκῶν τὴν ψυχήν μου (lxx) Psa 31:8 [Vulgate 30:9] et non conclusisti me in manibus inimici posuisti in latitudine pedes meos(vulgate) 9 ׃31 וְלֹ֣א הִ֭סְגַּרְתַּנִי בְּיַד־אוֹיֵ֑ב הֶֽעֱמַ֖דְתָּ בַמֶּרְחָ֣ב רַגְלָֽי׃ Psalms Psa 31:8 und übergibst mich nicht in die Hände des Feindes; du stellst meine Füße auf weiten Raum.(dhs) Psa 31:8 And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:9 ============ Psa 31:9 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; My eye is wasted away from grief, my soul and my body also.(nas) Psa 31:9 καὶ οὐ συνέκλεισάς με εἰς χεῖρας ἐχθροῦ ἔστησας ἐν εὐρυχώρῳ τοὺς πόδας μου (lxx) Psa 31:9 [Vulgate 30:10] miserere mei Domine quoniam tribulor caligavit in furore oculus meus anima mea et venter meus(vulgate) 10 ׃31 חָנֵּ֥נִי יְהוָה֮ כִּ֤י צַ֫ר־לִ֥י עָשְׁשָׁ֖ה בְכַ֥עַס עֵינִ֗י נַפְשִׁ֥י וּבִטְנִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 31:9 HERR, sei mir gnädig, denn mir ist angst; meine Gestalt ist verfallen vor Trauern, dazu meine Seele und mein Leib.(dhs) Psa 31:9 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am in trouble; My eye wastes away with grief, Yes, my soul and my body!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:10 ============ Psa 31:10 For my life is spent with sorrow And my years with sighing; My strength has failed because of my iniquity, And my body has wasted away.(nas) Psa 31:10 ἐλέησόν με κύριε ὅτι θλίβομαι ἐταράχθη ἐν θυμῷ ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου ἡ ψυχή μου καὶ ἡ γαστήρ μου (lxx) Psa 31:10 [Vulgate 30:11] quia consumptae sunt in maerore vitae meae et anni mei in gemitu infirmata est in iniquitate fortitudo mea et ossa mea contabuerunt(vulgate) 11 ׃31 כִּ֤י כָל֪וּ בְיָג֡וֹן חַיַּי֮ וּשְׁנוֹתַ֢י בַּאֲנָ֫חָ֥ה כָּשַׁ֣ל בַּעֲוֺנִ֣י כֹחִ֑י וַעֲצָמַ֥י עָשֵֽׁשׁוּ׃ Psalms Psa 31:10 Denn mein Leben hat abgenommen vor Betrübnis und meine Zeit vor Seufzen; meine Kraft ist verfallen vor meiner Missetat, und meine Gebeine sind verschmachtet.(dhs) Psa 31:10 For my life is spent with grief, And my years with sighing; My strength fails because of my iniquity, And my bones waste away.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:11 ============ Psa 31:11 Because of all my adversaries, I have become a reproach, Especially to my neighbors, And an object of dread to my acquaintances; Those who see me in the street flee from me.(nas) Psa 31:11 ὅτι ἐξέλιπεν ἐν ὀδύνῃ ἡ ζωή μου καὶ τὰ ἔτη μου ἐν στεναγμοῖς ἠσθένησεν ἐν πτωχείᾳ ἡ ἰσχύς μου καὶ τὰ ὀστᾶ μου ἐταράχθησαν (lxx) Psa 31:11 [Vulgate 30:12] apud omnes hostes meos factus sum obprobrium et vicinis meis nimis et timor notis meis qui videbant me in plateis fugiebant me(vulgate) 12 ׃31 מִכָּל־צֹרְרַ֨י הָיִ֪יתִי חֶרְפָּ֡ה וְלִשֲׁכֵנַ֨י ׀ מְאֹד֮ וּפַ֢חַד לִֽמְיֻדָּ֫עָ֥י רֹאַ֥י בַּח֑וּץ נָדְד֥וּ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ Psalms Psa 31:11 Es geht mir so übel, daß ich bin eine große Schmach geworden meinen Nachbarn und eine Scheu meinen Verwandten; die mich sehen auf der Gasse, fliehen vor mir.(dhs) Psa 31:11 I am a reproach among all my enemies, But especially among my neighbors, And am repulsive to my acquaintances; Those who see me outside flee from me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:12 ============ Psa 31:12 I am forgotten as a dead man, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel.(nas) Psa 31:12 παρὰ πάντας τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου ἐγενήθην ὄνειδος καὶ τοῖς γείτοσίν μου σφόδρα καὶ φόβος τοῖς γνωστοῖς μου οἱ θεωροῦντές με ἔξω ἔφυγον ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ (lxx) Psa 31:12 [Vulgate 30:13] oblivioni traditus sum quasi mortuus a corde factus sum quasi vas perditum(vulgate) 13 ׃31 נִ֭שְׁכַּחְתִּי כְּמֵ֣ת מִלֵּ֑ב הָ֝יִ֗יתִי כִּכְלִ֥י אֹבֵֽד׃ Psalms Psa 31:12 Mein ist vergessen im Herzen wie eines Toten; ich bin geworden wie ein zerbrochenes Gefäß.(dhs) Psa 31:12 I am forgotten like a dead man, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:13 ============ Psa 31:13 For I have heard the slander of many, Terror is on every side; While they took counsel together against me, They schemed to take away my life.(nas) Psa 31:13 ἐπελήσθην ὡσεὶ νεκρὸς ἀπὸ καρδίας ἐγενήθην ὡσεὶ σκεῦος ἀπολωλός (lxx) Psa 31:13 [Vulgate 30:14] audivi enim obprobrium multorum congregationem in circuitu cum inirent consilium adversum me et ut auferrent animam meam cogitarent(vulgate) 14 ׃31 כִּ֤י שָׁמַ֨עְתִּי ׀ דִּבַּ֥ת רַבִּים֮ מָג֢וֹר מִסָּ֫בִ֥יב בְּהִוָּסְדָ֣ם יַ֣חַד עָלַ֑י לָקַ֖חַת נַפְשִׁ֣י זָמָֽמוּ׃ Psalms Psa 31:13 Denn ich höre, wie mich viele schelten, Schrecken ist um und um; sie ratschlagen miteinander über mich und denken, mir das Leben zu nehmen.(dhs) Psa 31:13 For I hear the slander of many; Fear is on every side; While they take counsel together against me, They scheme to take away my life.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:14 ============ Psa 31:14 But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord, I say, "You are my God."(nas) Psa 31:14 ὅτι ἤκουσα ψόγον πολλῶν παροικούντων κυκλόθεν ἐν τῷ ἐπισυναχθῆναι αὐτοὺς ἅμα ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ τοῦ λαβεῖν τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐβουλεύσαντο (lxx) Psa 31:14 [Vulgate 30:15] ego autem in te speravi Domine dixi Deus meus es tu(vulgate) 15 ׃31 וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ עָלֶ֣יךָ בָטַ֣חְתִּי יְהוָ֑ה אָ֝מַ֗רְתִּי אֱלֹהַ֥י אָֽתָּה׃ Psalms Psa 31:14 Ich aber, HERR, hoffe auf dich und spreche: Du bist mein Gott!(dhs) Psa 31:14 But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say, "You are my God."(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:15 ============ Psa 31:15 My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.(nas) Psa 31:15 ἐγὼ δὲ ἐπὶ σὲ ἤλπισα κύριε εἶπα σὺ εἶ ὁ θεός μου (lxx) Psa 31:15 [Vulgate 30:16] in manu tua tempora mea libera me de manu inimicorum meorum et persequentium me(vulgate) 16 ׃31 בְּיָדְךָ֥ עִתֹּתָ֑י הַצִּ֘ילֵ֤נִי מִיַּד־א֝וֹיְבַ֗י וּמֵרֹדְפָֽי׃ Psalms Psa 31:15 Meine Zeit steht in deinen Händen. Errette mich von der Hand meiner Feinde und von denen, die mich verfolgen.(dhs) Psa 31:15 My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:16 ============ Psa 31:16 Make Your face to shine upon Your servant; Save me in Your lovingkindness.(nas) Psa 31:16 ἐν ταῖς χερσίν σου οἱ καιροί μου ῥῦσαί με ἐκ χειρὸς ἐχθρῶν μου καὶ ἐκ τῶν καταδιωκόντων με (lxx) Psa 31:16 [Vulgate 30:17] ostende faciem tuam super servum tuum salva me in misericordia tua(vulgate) 17 ׃31 הָאִ֣ירָה פָ֭נֶיךָ עַל־עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ ה֖וֹשִׁיעֵ֣נִי בְחַסְדֶּֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 31:16 Laß leuchten dein Antlitz über deinen Knecht; hilf mir durch deine Güte!(dhs) Psa 31:16 Make Your face shine upon Your servant; Save me for Your mercies' sake.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:17 ============ Psa 31:17 Let me not be put to shame, O Lord, for I call upon You; Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.(nas) Psa 31:17 ἐπίφανον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ τὸν δοῦλόν σου σῶσόν με ἐν τῷ ἐλέει σου (lxx) Psa 31:17 [Vulgate 30:18] Domine ne confundar quia invocavi te confundantur impii taceant in inferno(vulgate) 18 ׃31 יְֽהוָ֗ה אַל־אֵ֭בוֹשָׁה כִּ֣י קְרָאתִ֑יךָ יֵבֹ֥שׁוּ רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים יִדְּמ֥וּ לִשְׁאֽוֹל׃ Psalms Psa 31:17 HERR, laß mich nicht zu Schanden werden; denn ich rufe dich an. Die Gottlosen müssen zu Schanden werden und schweigen in der Hölle.(dhs) Psa 31:17 Do not let me be ashamed, O Lord, for I have called upon You; Let the wicked be ashamed; Let them be silent in the grave.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:18 ============ Psa 31:18 Let the lying lips be mute, Which speak arrogantly against the righteous With pride and contempt.(nas) Psa 31:18 κύριε μὴ καταισχυνθείην ὅτι ἐπεκαλεσάμην σε αἰσχυνθείησαν οἱ ἀσεβεῖς καὶ καταχθείησαν εἰς ᾅδου (lxx) Psa 31:18 [Vulgate 30:19] muta fiant labia mendacii quae loquuntur contra iustum vetera in superbia et despectione(vulgate) 19 ׃31 תֵּ֥אָלַ֗מְנָה שִׂפְתֵ֫י שָׁ֥קֶר הַדֹּבְר֖וֹת עַל־צַדִּ֥יק עָתָ֗ק בְּגַאֲוָ֥ה וָב[t]וּז׃ Psalms Psa 31:18 Verstummen müssen falsche Mäuler, die da reden gegen den Gerechten frech, stolz und höhnisch.(dhs) Psa 31:18 Let the lying lips be put to silence, Which speak insolent things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:19 ============ Psa 31:19 How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have wrought for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of men!(nas) Psa 31:19 ἄλαλα γενηθήτω τὰ χείλη τὰ δόλια τὰ λαλοῦντα κατὰ τοῦ δικαίου ἀνομίαν ἐν ὑπερηφανίᾳ καὶ ἐξουδενώσει (lxx) Psa 31:19 [Vulgate 30:20] quam multa est bonitas tua quam abscondisti timentibus te operatus es sperantibus in te in conspectu filiorum hominum(vulgate) 20 ׃31 מָ֤ה רַֽב־טוּבְךָ֮ אֲשֶׁר־צָפַ֢נְתָּ לִּֽירֵ֫אֶ֥יךָ פָּ֭עַלְתָּ לַחֹסִ֣ים בָּ֑ךְ נֶ֝֗גֶד בְּנֵ֣י אָדָם׃ Psalms Psa 31:19 Wie groß ist deine Güte, die du verborgen hast für die, so dich fürchten, und erzeigest vor den Leuten denen, die auf dich trauen!(dhs) Psa 31:19 Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:20 ============ Psa 31:20 You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues.(nas) Psa 31:20 ὡς πολὺ τὸ πλῆθος τῆς χρηστότητός σου κύριε ἧς ἔκρυψας τοῖς φοβουμένοις σε ἐξειργάσω τοῖς ἐλπίζουσιν ἐπὶ σὲ ἐναντίον τῶν υἱῶν τῶν ἀνθρώπων (lxx) Psa 31:20 [Vulgate 30:21] abscondes eos in protectione vultus tui a duritia viri abscondes eos in umbra a contradictione linguarum(vulgate) 21 ׃31 תַּסְתִּירֵ֤ם ׀ בְּסֵ֥תֶר פָּנֶיךָ֮ מֵֽרֻכְסֵ֫י אִ֥ישׁ תִּצְפְּנֵ֥ם בְּסֻכָּ֗ה מֵרִ֥יב לְשֹׁנֽוֹת׃ Psalms Psa 31:20 Du verbirgst sie heimlich bei dir vor jedermanns Trotz; du verdeckst sie in der Hütte vor den zänkischen Zungen.(dhs) Psa 31:20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion From the strife of tongues.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:21 ============ Psa 31:21 Blessed be the Lord, For He has made marvelous His lovingkindness to me in a besieged city.(nas) Psa 31:21 κατακρύψεις αὐτοὺς ἐν ἀποκρύφῳ τοῦ προσώπου σου ἀπὸ ταραχῆς ἀνθρώπων σκεπάσεις αὐτοὺς ἐν σκηνῇ ἀπὸ ἀντιλογίας γλωσσῶν (lxx) Psa 31:21 [Vulgate 30:22] benedictus Dominus qui mirabilem fecit misericordiam suam mihi in civitate munita(vulgate) 22 ׃31 בָּר֥וּךְ יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֥י הִפְלִ֘יא חַסְדּ֥וֹ לִ֝֗י בְּעִ֣יר מָצֽוֹר׃ Psalms Psa 31:21 Gelobt sei der HERR, daß er hat eine wunderbare Güte mir bewiesen in einer festen Stadt.(dhs) Psa 31:21 Blessed be the Lord, For He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 31:22 ============ Psa 31:22 As for me, I said in my alarm, "I am cut off from before Your eyes"; Nevertheless You heard the voice of my supplications When I cried to You.(nas) Psa 31:22 εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὅτι ἐθαυμάστωσεν τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ ἐν πόλει περιοχῆς (lxx) Psa 31:22 [Vulgate 30:23] ego autem dixi in stupore meo proiectus sum de conspectu oculorum eius ergone audisti vocem deprecationis meae cum clamarem ad te(vulgate) 23 ׃31 וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ אָ֘מַ֤רְתִּי בְחָפְזִ֗י נִגְרַזְתִּי֮ מִנֶּ֢גֶד עֵ֫ינֶ֥יךָ אָכֵ֗ן שָׁ֭מַעְתָּ ק֥וֹל תַּחֲנוּנַ֗י בְּשַׁוְּעִ֥י אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 31:22 Denn ich sprach zu meinem Zagen: Ich bin von deinen Augen verstoßen.
