Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:2 ============ Psa 32:2 How blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit!(nas) Psa 32:2 μακάριος ἀνήρ οὗ οὐ μὴ λογίσηται κύριος ἁμαρτίαν οὐδὲ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτοῦ δόλος (lxx) Psa 32:2 [Vulgate 31:2] beatus homo cui non inputabit Dominus iniquitatem nec est in spiritu eius dolus(vulgate) 2 ׃32 אַ֥שְֽׁרֵי אָדָ֗ם לֹ֤א יַחְשֹׁ֬ב יְהוָ֣ה ל֣וֹ עָוֺ֑ן וְאֵ֖ין בְּרוּח֣וֹ רְמִיָּה׃ Psalms Psa 32:2 Wohl dem Menschen, dem der HERR die Missetat nicht zurechnet, in des Geist kein Falsch ist!(dhs) Psa 32:2 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:3 ============ Psa 32:3 When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long.(nas) Psa 32:3 ὅτι ἐσίγησα ἐπαλαιώθη τὰ ὀστᾶ μου ἀπὸ τοῦ κράζειν με ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν (lxx) Psa 32:3 [Vulgate 31:3] quia tacui adtrita sunt ossa mea in rugitu meo tota die(vulgate) 3 ׃32 כִּֽי־הֶ֭חֱרַשְׁתִּי בָּ֣לוּ עֲצָמָ֑י בְּ֝שַׁאֲגָתִ֗י כָּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ Psalms Psa 32:3 Denn da ich's wollte verschweigen, verschmachteten meine Gebeine durch mein täglich Heulen.(dhs) Psa 32:3 When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:4 ============ Psa 32:4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. Selah.(nas) Psa 32:4 ὅτι ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτὸς ἐβαρύνθη ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ἡ χείρ σου ἐστράφην εἰς ταλαιπωρίαν ἐν τῷ ἐμπαγῆναι ἄκανθαν διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 32:4 [Vulgate 31:4] die enim et nocte gravatur super me manus tua versatus sum in miseria mea cum exardesceret messis iugiter(vulgate) 4 ׃32 כִּ֤י ׀ יוֹמָ֣ם וָלַיְלָה֮ תִּכְבַּ֥ד עָלַ֗י יָ֫דֶ֥ךָ נֶהְפַּ֥ךְ לְשַׁדִּ֑י בְּחַרְבֹ֖נֵי קַ֣יִץ סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 32:4 Denn deine Hand war Tag und Nacht schwer auf mir, daß mein Saft vertrocknete, wie es im Sommer dürre wird. (Sela.)(dhs) Psa 32:4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:5 ============ Psa 32:5 I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I did not hide; I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord"; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah.(nas) Psa 32:5 τὴν ἁμαρτίαν μου ἐγνώρισα καὶ τὴν ἀνομίαν μου οὐκ ἐκάλυψα εἶπα ἐξαγορεύσω κατ᾽ ἐμοῦ τὴν ἀνομίαν μου τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ σὺ ἀφῆκας τὴν ἀσέβειαν τῆς ἁμαρτίας μου διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 32:5 [Vulgate 31:5] peccatum meum notum facio tibi et iniquitatem meam non abscondo dixi confitebor scelus meum Domino et tu dimisisti iniquitatem peccati mei semper(vulgate) 5 ׃32 חַטָּאתִ֨י אוֹדִ֪יעֲךָ֡ וַעֲוֺ֘נִ֤י לֹֽא־כִסִּ֗יתִי אָמַ֗רְתִּי אוֹדֶ֤ה עֲלֵ֣י פְ֭שָׁעַי לַיהוָ֑ה וְאַתָּ֨ה נָ֘שָׂ֤אתָ עֲוֺ֖ן חַטָּאתִ֣י סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 32:5 Darum bekannte ich dir meine Sünde und verhehlte meine Missetat nicht. Ich sprach: Ich will dem HERRN meine Übertretungen bekennen. Da vergabst du mir die Missetat meiner Sünde. (Sela.)(dhs) Psa 32:5 I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:6 ============ Psa 32:6 Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.(nas) Psa 32:6 ὑπὲρ ταύτης προσεύξεται πᾶς ὅσιος πρὸς σὲ ἐν καιρῷ εὐθέτῳ πλὴν ἐν κατακλυσμῷ ὑδάτων πολλῶν πρὸς αὐτὸν οὐκ ἐγγιοῦσιν (lxx) Psa 32:6 [Vulgate 31:6] pro hoc orat omnis sanctus ad te tempus inveniens ut cum inundaverint aquae multae ad illum non accedant(vulgate) 6 ׃32 עַל־זֹ֡את יִתְפַּלֵּ֬ל כָּל־חָסִ֨יד ׀ אֵלֶיךָ֮ לְעֵ֢ת מְ֫צֹ֥א רַ֗ק לְ֭שֵׁטֶף מַ֣יִם רַבִּ֑ים אֵ֝לָ֗יו לֹ֣א יַגִּֽיעוּ׃ Psalms Psa 32:6 Um deswillen werden die Heiligen zu dir beten zur rechten Zeit; darum, wenn große Wasserfluten kommen, werden sie nicht an dieselben gelangen.(dhs) Psa 32:6 For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You In a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not come near him.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:7 ============ Psa 32:7 You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.(nas) Psa 32:7 σύ μου εἶ καταφυγὴ ἀπὸ θλίψεως τῆς περιεχούσης με τὸ ἀγαλλίαμά μου λύτρωσαί με ἀπὸ τῶν κυκλωσάντων με διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 32:7 [Vulgate 31:7] tu es protectio mea ab hoste custodies me laus mea salvans circumdabis me semper(vulgate) 7 ׃32 אַתָּ֤ה ׀ סֵ֥תֶר לִי֮ מִצַּ֢ר תִּצְּ֫[t]רֵ֥נִי רָנֵּ֥י פַלֵּ֑ט תְּס֖וֹבְבֵ֣נִי סֶֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 32:7 Du bist mein Schirm; du wirst mich vor Angst behüten, daß ich errettet gar fröhlich rühmen kann. (Sela.)(dhs) Psa 32:7 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:8 ============ Psa 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.(nas) Psa 32:8 συνετιῶ σε καὶ συμβιβῶ σε ἐν ὁδῷ ταύτῃ ᾗ πορεύσῃ ἐπιστηριῶ ἐπὶ σὲ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου (lxx) Psa 32:8 [Vulgate 31:8] doceam te et monstrabo tibi viam per quam ambules cogitabo de te oculo meo(vulgate) 8 ׃32 אַשְׂכִּֽילְךָ֨ ׀ וְֽאוֹרְךָ֗ בְּדֶֽרֶךְ־ז֥וּ תֵלֵ֑ךְ אִֽיעֲצָ֖ה עָלֶ֣יךָ עֵינִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 32:8 "Ich will dich unterweisen und dir den Weg zeigen, den du wandeln sollst; ich will dich mit meinen Augen leiten."(dhs) Psa 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:9 ============ Psa 32:9 Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you.(nas) Psa 32:9 μὴ γίνεσθε ὡς ἵππος καὶ ἡμίονος οἷς οὐκ ἔστιν σύνεσις ἐν χαλινῷ καὶ κημῷ τὰς σιαγόνας αὐτῶν ἄγξαι τῶν μὴ ἐγγιζόντων πρὸς σέ (lxx) Psa 32:9 [Vulgate 31:9] nolite fieri sicut equus et mulus quibus non est intellegentia in camo et freno maxillas eorum constringe qui non accedunt ad te(vulgate) 9 ׃32 אַל־תִּֽהְי֤וּ ׀ כְּס֥וּס כְּפֶרֶד֮ אֵ֤ין הָ֫בִ֥ין בְּמֶֽתֶג־וָרֶ֣סֶן עֶדְי֣וֹ לִבְל֑וֹם בַּ֝֗ל קְרֹ֣ב אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 32:9 Seid nicht wie Rosse und Maultiere, die nicht verständig sind, welchen man Zaum und Gebiß muß ins Maul legen, wenn sie nicht zu dir wollen.(dhs) Psa 32:9 Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:10 ============ Psa 32:10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, But he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him.(nas) Psa 32:10 πολλαὶ αἱ μάστιγες τοῦ ἁμαρτωλοῦ τὸν δὲ ἐλπίζοντα ἐπὶ κύριον ἔλεος κυκλώσει (lxx) Psa 32:10 [Vulgate 31:10] multi dolores impii confidentem autem in Domino misericordia circumdabit(vulgate) 10 ׃32 רַבִּ֥ים מַכְאוֹבִ֗ים לָרָ֫שָׁ֥ע וְהַבּוֹטֵ֥חַ בַּיהוָ֑ה חֶ֝֗סֶד יְסוֹבְבֶֽנּוּ׃ Psalms Psa 32:10 Der Gottlose hat viel Plage; wer aber auf den HERRN hofft, den wird die Güte umfangen.(dhs) Psa 32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 32:11 ============ Psa 32:11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.(nas) Psa 32:11 εὐφράνθητε ἐπὶ κύριον καὶ ἀγαλλιᾶσθε δίκαιοι καὶ καυχᾶσθε πάντες οἱ εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ (lxx) Psa 32:11 [Vulgate 31:11] laetamini in Domino et exultate iusti et laudate omnes recti corde(vulgate) 11 ׃32 שִׂמְח֬וּ בַֽיהוָ֣ה וְ֭גִילוּ צַדִּיקִ֑ים וְ֝הַרְנִ֗ינוּ כָּל־יִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃ Psalms Psa 32:11 Freuet euch des HERRN und seid fröhlich, ihr Gerechten, und rühmet, alle ihr Frommen.(dhs) Psa 32:11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!(nkjv) ======= Psalm 33:1 ============ top of the page
