An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked: There is no fear of God before his eyes.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:2 ============ Psa 36:2 For it flatters him in his own eyes Concerning the discovery of his iniquity and the hatred of it.(nas) Psa 36:2 φησὶν ὁ παράνομος τοῦ ἁμαρτάνειν ἐν ἑαυτῷ οὐκ ἔστιν φόβος θεοῦ ἀπέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτοῦ (lxx) Psa 36:2 [Vulgate 35:3] quia dolose egit adversum eum in oculis suis ut inveniret iniquitatem eius ad odiendum(vulgate) 3 ׃36 כִּֽי־הֶחֱלִ֣יק אֵלָ֣יו בְּעֵינָ֑יו לִמְצֹ֖א עֲוֺנ֣וֹ לִשְׂנֹֽא׃ Psalms Psa 36:2 Sie schmücken sich untereinander selbst, daß sie ihre böse Sache fördern und andere verunglimpfem.(dhs) Psa 36:2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, When he finds out his iniquity and when he hates.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:3 ============ Psa 36:3 The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good.(nas) Psa 36:3 ὅτι ἐδόλωσεν ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ τοῦ εὑρεῖν τὴν ἀνομίαν αὐτοῦ καὶ μισῆσαι (lxx) Psa 36:3 [Vulgate 35:4] verba oris eius iniquitas et dolus cessavit cogitare benefacere(vulgate) 4 ׃36 דִּבְרֵי־פִ֭יו אָ֣וֶן וּמִרְמָ֑ה חָדַ֖ל לְהַשְׂכִּ֣יל לְהֵיטִֽיב׃ Psalms Psa 36:3 Alle ihre Worte sind schädlich und erlogen; sie lassen sich auch nicht weisen, daß sie Gutes täten;(dhs) Psa 36:3 The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:4 ============ Psa 36:4 He plans wickedness upon his bed; He sets himself on a path that is not good; He does not despise evil.(nas) Psa 36:4 τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ ἀνομία καὶ δόλος οὐκ ἐβουλήθη συνιέναι τοῦ ἀγαθῦναι (lxx) Psa 36:4 [Vulgate 35:5] iniquitatem cogitat in cubili suo stabit in via non bona malum non abiciet(vulgate) 5 ׃36 אָ֤וֶן ׀ יַחְשֹׁ֗ב עַֽל־מִשְׁכָּ֫ב֥וֹ יִ֭תְיַצֵּב עַל־דֶּ֣רֶךְ לֹא־ט֑וֹב רָ֝֗ע לֹ֣א יִמְאָֽס׃ Psalms Psa 36:4 sondern sie trachten auf ihrem Lager nach Schaden und stehen fest auf dem bösen Weg und scheuen kein Arges.(dhs) Psa 36:4 He devises wickedness on his bed; He sets himself in a way that is not good; He does not abhor evil.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:5 ============ Psa 36:5 Your lovingkindness, O Lord, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.(nas) Psa 36:5 ἀνομίαν διελογίσατο ἐπὶ τῆς κοίτης αὐτοῦ παρέστη πάσῃ ὁδῷ οὐκ ἀγαθῇ τῇ δὲ κακίᾳ οὐ προσώχθισεν (lxx) Psa 36:5 [Vulgate 35:6] Domine in caelo misericordia tua fides tua usque ad nubes(vulgate) 6 ׃36 יְ֭הוָה בְּהַשָּׁמַ֣יִם חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ אֱ֝מֽוּנָתְךָ֗ עַד־שְׁחָקִֽים׃ Psalms Psa 36:5 HERR, deine Güte reicht, soweit der Himmel ist, und deine Wahrheit, soweit die Wolken gehen.(dhs) Psa 36:5 Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:6 ============ Psa 36:6 Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgments are like a great deep. O Lord, You preserve man and beast.(nas) Psa 36:6 κύριε ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ τὸ ἔλεός σου καὶ ἡ ἀλήθειά σου ἕως τῶν νεφελῶν (lxx) Psa 36:6 [Vulgate 35:7] iustitia tua quasi montes Domine iudicium tuum abyssus multa homines et iumenta salvos facies Domine(vulgate) 7 ׃36 צִדְקָֽתְךָ֨ ׀ כְּֽהַרְרֵי־אֵ֗ל מִ֭שְׁפָּטֶךָ תְּה֣וֹם רַבָּ֑ה אָ֤דָֽם־וּבְהֵמָ֖ה תוֹשִׁ֣יעַ יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms Psa 36:6 Deine Gerechtigkeit steht wie die Berge Gottes und dein Recht wie eine große Tiefe. HERR, du hilfst Menschen und Vieh.(dhs) Psa 36:6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Lord, You preserve man and beast.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:7 ============ Psa 36:7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.(nas) Psa 36:7 ἡ δικαιοσύνη σου ὡσεὶ ὄρη θεοῦ τὰ κρίματά σου ἄβυσσος πολλή ἀνθρώπους καὶ κτήνη σώσεις κύριε (lxx) Psa 36:7 [Vulgate 35:8] quam pretiosa est misericordia tua Domine et filii Adam in umbra alarum tuarum sperabunt(vulgate) 8 ׃36 מַה־יָּקָ֥ר חַסְדְּךָ֗ אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים וּבְנֵ֥י אָדָ֑ם בְּצֵ֥ל כְּ֝נָפֶ֗יךָ יֶחֱסָיֽוּן׃ Psalms Psa 36:7 Wie teuer ist deine Güte, Gott, daß Menschenkinder unter dem Schatten deiner Flügel Zuflucht haben!(dhs) Psa 36:7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:8 ============ Psa 36:8 They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights.(nas) Psa 36:8 ὡς ἐπλήθυνας τὸ ἔλεός σου ὁ θεός οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἐν σκέπῃ τῶν πτερύγων σου ἐλπιοῦσιν (lxx) Psa 36:8 [Vulgate 35:9] inebriabuntur de pinguidine domus tuae et torrente deliciarum tuarum potabis eos(vulgate) 9 ׃36 יִ֭רְוִיֻן מִדֶּ֣שֶׁן בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ וְנַ֖חַל עֲדָנֶ֣יךָ תַשְׁקֵֽם׃ Psalms Psa 36:8 Sie werden trunken von den reichen Gütern deines Hauses, und du tränkest sie mit Wonne als mit einem Strom.(dhs) Psa 36:8 They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:9 ============ Psa 36:9 For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.(nas) Psa 36:9 μεθυσθήσονται ἀπὸ πιότητος τοῦ οἴκου σου καὶ τὸν χειμάρρουν τῆς τρυφῆς σου ποτιεῖς αὐτούς (lxx) Psa 36:9 [Vulgate 35:10] quoniam tecum est fons vitae in lumine tuo videbimus lumen(vulgate) 10 ׃36 כִּֽי־עִ֭מְּךָ מְק֣וֹר חַיִּ֑ים בְּ֝אוֹרְךָ֗ נִרְאֶה־אֽוֹר׃ Psalms Psa 36:9 Denn bei dir ist die Quelle des Lebens, und in deinem Licht sehen wir das Licht.(dhs) Psa 36:9 For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:10 ============ Psa 36:10 O continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.(nas) Psa 36:10 ὅτι παρὰ σοὶ πηγὴ ζωῆς ἐν τῷ φωτί σου ὀψόμεθα φῶς (lxx) Psa 36:10 [Vulgate 35:11] adtrahe misericordiam tuam scientibus te et iustitiam tuam rectis corde(vulgate) 11 ׃36 מְשֹׁ֣ךְ חַ֭סְדְּךָ לְיֹדְעֶ֑יךָ וְ֝צִדְקָֽתְךָ֗ לְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃ Psalms Psa 36:10 Breite deine Güte über die, die dich kennen, und deine Gerechtigkeit über die Frommen.(dhs) Psa 36:10 Oh, continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:11 ============ Psa 36:11 Let not the foot of pride come upon me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.(nas) Psa 36:11 παράτεινον τὸ ἔλεός σου τοῖς γινώσκουσίν σε καὶ τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου τοῖς εὐθέσι τῇ καρδίᾳ (lxx) Psa 36:11 [Vulgate 35:12] ne veniat mihi pes superbiae et manus impiorum non me commoveat(vulgate) 12 ׃36 אַל־תְּ֭בוֹאֵנִי רֶ֣גֶל גַּאֲוָ֑ה וְיַד־רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים אַל־תְּנִדֵֽנִי׃ Psalms Psa 36:11 Laß mich nicht von den Stolzen untertreten werden, und die Hand der Gottlosen stürze mich nicht;(dhs) Psa 36:11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 36:12 ============ Psa 36:12 There the doers of iniquity have fallen; They have been thrust down and cannot rise.(nas) Psa 36:12 ἐκεῖ ἔπεσον οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν ἐξώσθησαν καὶ οὐ μὴ δύνωνται στῆναι (lxx) Psa 36:12 [Vulgate 35:13] ibi ceciderunt operantes iniquitatem expulsi sunt et non potuerunt surgere(vulgate) 13 ׃36 שָׁ֣ם נָ֭פְלוּ פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָ֑וֶן דֹּ֝ח֗וּ וְלֹא־יָ֥כְלוּ קֽוּם׃ Psalms Psa 36:12 sondern laß sie, die Übeltäter, daselbst fallen, daß sie verstoßen werden und nicht bleiben mögen.(dhs) Psa 36:12 There the workers of iniquity have fallen; They have been cast down and are not able to rise.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 37:1 ============ top of the page
