Today's Date: ======= Malachi 4:1 ============ Mal 4:1 "For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze," says the Lord of hosts, "so that it will leave them neither root nor branch."(nas) Mal 4:1 διότι ἰδοὺ ἡμέρα κυρίου ἔρχεται καιομένη ὡς κλίβανος καὶ φλέξει αὐτούς καὶ ἔσονται πάντες οἱ ἀλλογενεῖς καὶ πάντες οἱ ποιοῦντες ἄνομα καλάμη καὶ ἀνάψει αὐτοὺς ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ ἐρχομένη λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ καὶ οὐ μὴ ὑπολειφθῇ ἐξ αὐτῶν ῥίζα οὐδὲ κλῆμα (lxx) Mal 4:1 Ecce enim dies veniet succensa quasi caminus: et erunt omnes superbi et omnes facientes impietatem stipula: et inflammabit eos dies veniens, dicit Dominus exercituum, quæ non derelinquet eis radicem et germen.(vulgate) 19 ׃3 כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֤ה הַיּוֹם֙ בָּ֔א בֹּעֵ֖ר כַּתַּנּ֑וּר וְהָי֨וּ כָל־זֵדִ֜ים וְכָל־עֹשֵׂ֤ה רִשְׁעָה֙ קַ֔שׁ וְלִהַ֨ט אֹתָ֜ם הַיּ֣וֹם הַבָּ֗א אָמַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹא־יַעֲזֹ֥ב לָהֶ֖ם שֹׁ֥רֶשׁ וְעָנָֽף׃ Malachi Mal 4:1 Denn siehe, es kommt ein Tag, der brennen soll wie ein Ofen; da werden alle Verächter und Gottlosen Stroh sein, und der künftige Tag wird sie anzünden, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, und wird ihnen weder Wurzel noch Zweige lassen.(dhs) Mal 4:1 "For behold, the day is coming, Burning like an oven, And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble. And the day which is coming shall burn them up," Says the Lord of hosts, "That will leave them neither root nor branch.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:2 ============ Mal 4:2 "But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.(nas) Mal 4:2 καὶ ἀνατελεῖ ὑμῖν τοῖς φοβουμένοις τὸ ὄνομά μου ἥλιος δικαιοσύνης καὶ ἴασις ἐν ταῖς πτέρυξιν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξελεύσεσθε καὶ σκιρτήσετε ὡς μοσχάρια ἐκ δεσμῶν ἀνειμένα (lxx) Mal 4:2 Et orietur vobis timentibus nomen meum sol justitiæ, et sanitas in pennis ejus: et egrediemini, et salietis sicut vituli de armento.(vulgate) 20 ׃3 וְזָרְחָ֨ה לָכֶ֜ם יִרְאֵ֤י שְׁמִי֙ שֶׁ֣מֶשׁ צְדָקָ֔ה וּמַרְפֵּ֖א בִּכְנָפֶ֑יהָ וִֽיצָאתֶ֥ם וּפִשְׁתֶּ֖ם כְּעֶגְלֵ֥י מַרְבֵּֽק׃ Malachi Mal 4:2 Euch aber, die ihr meinen Namen fürchtet, soll aufgehen die Sonne der Gerechtigkeit und Heil unter ihren Flügeln; und ihr sollt aus und eingehen und hüpfen wie die Mastkälber.(dhs) Mal 4:2 But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:3 ============ Mal 4:3 You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing," says the Lord of hosts.(nas) Mal 4:3 καὶ καταπατήσετε ἀνόμους διότι ἔσονται σποδὸς ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἐγὼ ποιῶ λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ (lxx) Mal 4:3 Et calcabitis impios, cum fuerint cinis sub planta pedum vestrorum, in die qua ego facio, dicit Dominus exercituum.(vulgate) 21 ׃3 וְעַסּוֹתֶ֣ם רְשָׁעִ֔ים כִּֽי־יִהְי֣וּ אֵ֔פֶר תַּ֖חַת כַּפּ֣וֹת רַגְלֵיכֶ֑ם בַּיּוֹם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֲנִ֣י עֹשֶׂ֔ה אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ פ Malachi Mal 4:3 Ihr werdet die Gottlosen zertreten; denn sie sollen Asche unter euren Füßen werden des Tages, den ich machen will, spricht der HERR Zebaoth.(dhs) Mal 4:3 You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this," Says the Lord of hosts.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:4 ============ Mal 4:4 "Remember the law of Moses My servant, even the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel.(nas) Mal 4:4 καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω ὑμῖν Ηλιαν τὸν Θεσβίτην πρὶν ἐλθεῖν ἡμέραν κυρίου τὴν μεγάλην καὶ ἐπιφανῆ (lxx) Mal 4:4 Mementote legis Moysi servi mei, quam mandavi ei in Horeb ad omnem Israël, præcepta et judicia.(vulgate) 22 ׃3 זִכְר֕וּ תּוֹרַ֖ת מֹשֶׁ֣ה עַבְדִּ֑י אֲשֶׁר֩ צִוִּ֨יתִי אוֹת֤וֹ בְחֹרֵב֙ עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל חֻקִּ֖ים וּמִשְׁפָּטִֽים׃ Malachi Mal 4:4 Gedenkt des Gesetzes Mose's, meines Knechtes, das ich ihm befohlen habe auf dem Berge Horeb an das ganze Israel samt den Geboten und Rechten.(dhs) Mal 4:4 "Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:5 ============ Mal 4:5 "Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord.(nas) Mal 4:5 ὃς ἀποκαταστήσει καρδίαν πατρὸς πρὸς υἱὸν καὶ καρδίαν ἀνθρώπου πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ μὴ ἔλθω καὶ πατάξω τὴν γῆν ἄρδην (lxx) Mal 4:5 Ecce ego mittam vobis Eliam prophetam, antequam veniat dies Domini magnus et horribilis.(vulgate) 23 ׃3 הִנֵּ֤ה אָֽנֹכִי֙ שֹׁלֵ֣חַ לָכֶ֔ם אֵ֖ת אֵלִיָּ֣ה הַנָּבִ֑יא לִפְנֵ֗י בּ֚וֹא י֣וֹם יְהוָ֔ה הַגָּד֖וֹל וְהַנּוֹרָֽא׃ Malachi Mal 4:5 Siehe, ich will euch senden den Propheten Elia, ehe denn da komme der große und schreckliche Tag des HERRN.(dhs) Mal 4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Malachi 4:6 ============ Mal 4:6 He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse."(nas) Mal 4:6 μνήσθητε νόμου Μωυσῆ τοῦ δούλου μου καθότι ἐνετειλάμην αὐτῷ ἐν Χωρηβ πρὸς πάντα τὸν Ισραηλ προστάγματα καὶ δικαιώματα (lxx) Mal 4:6 Et convertet cor patrum ad filios, et cor filiorum ad patres eorum: ne forte veniam, et percutiam terram anathemate.(vulgate) 24 ׃3 וְהֵשִׁ֤יב לֵב־אָבוֹת֙ עַל־בָּנִ֔ים וְלֵ֥ב בָּנִ֖ים עַל־אֲבוֹתָ֑ם פֶּן־אָב֕וֹא וְהִכֵּיתִ֥י אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ חֵֽרֶם׃ Malachi Mal 4:6 Der soll das Herz der Väter bekehren zu den Kindern und das Herz der Kinder zu ihren Vätern, daß ich nicht komme und das Erdreich mit dem Bann schlage.(dhs) Mal 4:6 And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."(nkjv) top of the page
