(Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:1 Debemus autem nos firmiores imbecillitates infirmorum sustinere, et non nobis placere.(vulgate) וַאֲנַחְנוּ גִבֹּרֵי כֹחַ עָלֵינוּ הַמִּצְוָה לָשֵׂאת רִפְיוֹן דַּלֵּי כֹחַ וְלֹא לָחוּשׁ לְחֵפֶץ נַפְשֵׁנוּ׃ א Romans Rom 15:1 Wir aber, die wir stark sind, sollen der Schwachen Gebrechlichkeit tragen und nicht gefallen an uns selber haben.(dhs) Rom 15:1 We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves.(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:2 ============ Rom 15:2 Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.(nas) Rom 15:2 ἕκαστος ἡμῶν τῶ πλησίον ἀρεσκέτω εἰς τὸ ἀγαθὸν πρὸς οἰκοδομήν· (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:2 Unusquisque vestrum proximo suo placeat in bonum, ad ædificationem.(vulgate) וְאִישׁ אִישׁ מֵאִתָּנוּ יָחוּשׁ לְחֵפֶץ רֵעֵהוּ לְטוֹב־לוֹ לְבַעֲבוּר יִבָּנֶה מִמֶּנוּ׃ ב Romans Rom 15:2 Es stelle sich ein jeglicher unter uns also, daß er seinem Nächsten gefalle zum Guten, zur Besserung.(dhs) Rom 15:2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:3 ============ Rom 15:3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "THE REPROACHES OF THOSE WHO REPROACHED YOU FELL ON ME."(nas) Rom 15:3 καὶ γὰρ ὁ χριστὸς οὐχ ἑαυτῶ ἤρεσεν· ἀλλὰ καθὼς γέγραπται, οἱ ὀνειδισμοὶ τῶν ὀνειδιζόντων σε ἐπέπεσαν ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:3 Etenim Christus non sibi placuit, sed sicut scriptum est: Improperia improperantium tibi ceciderunt super me.(vulgate) כִּי גַם־הַמָּשִׁיחַ לֹא חָשׁ לְנַפְשׁוֹ כִּי אִם־חָשׁ לַאֲשֶׁר כָּתוּב וְחֶרְפּוֹת חוֹרְפֶיךָ נָפְלוּ עָלָי׃ ג Romans Rom 15:3 Denn auch Christus hatte nicht an sich selber Gefallen, sondern wie geschrieben steht: "Die Schmähungen derer, die dich schmähen, sind auf mich gefallen."(dhs) Rom 15:3 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me."(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:4 ============ Rom 15:4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.(nas) Rom 15:4 ὅσα γὰρ προεγράφη, εἰς τὴν ἡμετέραν διδασκαλίαν ἐγράφη, ἵνα διὰ τῆς ὑπομονῆς καὶ διὰ τῆς παρακλήσεως τῶν γραφῶν τὴν ἐλπίδα ἔχωμεν. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:4 Quæcumque enim scripta sunt, ad nostram doctrinam scripta sunt: ut per patientiam, et consolationem Scripturarum, spem habeamus.(vulgate) וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר נִכְתַּב מִקֶּדֶם נִכְתַּב לְמוּסָר לָנוּ לְהַחֲזִיק בְּתִקְוָה בְּאֹרֶךְ אַפַּיִם וּבְתַנְחוּמוֹת הַכְּתוּבִים׃ ד Romans Rom 15:4 Was aber zuvor geschrieben ist, das ist uns zur Lehre geschrieben, auf daß wir durch Geduld und Trost der Schrift Hoffnung haben.(dhs) Rom 15:4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:5 ============ Rom 15:5 Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus,(nas) Rom 15:5 ὁ δὲ θεὸς τῆς ὑπομονῆς καὶ τῆς παρακλήσεως δῴη ὑμῖν τὸ αὐτὸ φρονεῖν ἐν ἀλλήλοις κατὰ χριστὸν ἰησοῦν, (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:5 Deus autem patientiæ et solatii det vobis idipsum sapere in alterutrum secundum Jesum Christum:(vulgate) וְאֵל אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם אֲבִי הַתַּנְחוּמִים יִתֵּן לָכֶם לֵב אֶחָד לְאִישׁ כְּאָחִיו כְּיַד יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ ה Romans Rom 15:5 Der Gott aber der Geduld und des Trostes gebe euch, daß ihr einerlei gesinnt seid untereinander nach Jesu Christo,(dhs) Rom 15:5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:6 ============ Rom 15:6 so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.(nas) Rom 15:6 ἵνα ὁμοθυμαδὸν ἐν ἑνὶ στόματι δοξάζητε τὸν θεὸν καὶ πατέρα τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:6 ut unanimes, uno ore honorificetis Deum et patrem Domini nostri Jesu Christi.(vulgate) וּבְלֵב אֵחָד וּפֶה אֶחָד תְּכַבְּדוּ יַחְדָּו אֶת־אֱלֹהִים אֲבִי אֲדֹנֵינוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ ו Romans Rom 15:6 auf daß ihr einmütig mit einem Munde lobet Gott und den Vater unseres HERRN Jesu Christi.(dhs) Rom 15:6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:7 ============ Rom 15:7 Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.(nas) Rom 15:7 διὸ προσλαμβάνεσθε ἀλλήλους, καθὼς καὶ ὁ χριστὸς προσελάβετο ὑμᾶς, εἰς δόξαν τοῦ θεοῦ. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:7 Propter quod suscipite invicem, sicut et Christus suscepit vos in honorem Dei.(vulgate) עַל־כֵּן קַבְּלוּ נָא אִישׁ אֶת־רֵעֵהוּ כַּאֲשֶׁר גַּם־הַמָּשִׁיחַ קִבֵּל אֶתְכֶם לִכְבוֹד הָאֱלֹהִים׃ ז Romans Rom 15:7 Darum nehmet euch untereinander auf, gleichwie euch Christus hat aufgenommen zu Gottes Lobe.(dhs) Rom 15:7 Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:8 ============ Rom 15:8 For I say that Christ has become a servant to the circumcision on behalf of the truth of God to confirm the promises given to the fathers,(nas) Rom 15:8 λέγω γὰρ χριστὸν διάκονον γεγενῆσθαι περιτομῆς ὑπὲρ ἀληθείας θεοῦ, εἰς τὸ βεβαιῶσαι τὰς ἐπαγγελίας τῶν πατέρων, (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:8 Dico enim Christum Jesum ministrum fuisse circumcisionis propter veritatem Dei, ad confirmandas promissiones patrum:(vulgate) וַאֲנִי אֹמֵר כִּי יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ הָיָה לִמְשָׁרֵת אֶת־הַנִּמּוֹלִים בַּעֲבוּר אֱמֶת אֱלֹהים לְהָקִים דְּבָרָיו אֶל־הָאָבוֹת׃ ח Romans Rom 15:8 Ich sage aber, daß Jesus Christus sei ein Diener gewesen der Juden um der Wahrhaftigkeit willen Gottes, zu bestätigen die Verheißungen, den Vätern geschehen;(dhs) Rom 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers,(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:9 ============ Rom 15:9 and for the Gentiles to glorify God for His mercy; as it is written, "THEREFORE I WILL GIVE PRAISE TO YOU AMONG THE GENTILES, AND I WILL SING TO YOUR NAME."(nas) Rom 15:9 τὰ δὲ ἔθνη ὑπὲρ ἐλέους δοξάσαι τὸν θεόν· καθὼς γέγραπται, διὰ τοῦτο ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν ἔθνεσιν, καὶ τῶ ὀνοματί σου ψαλῶ. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:9 gentes autem super misericordia honorare Deum, sicut scriptum est: Propterea confitebor tibi in gentibus, Domine, et nomini tuo cantabo.(vulgate) וְהַגּוֹיִם גַּם־הֵם יְכַבְּדוּ אֶת־הָאֱלֹהִים עַל־חַסְדּוֹ כַּכָּתוּב עַל־כֵּן אוֹדְךָ בַגּוֹיִם וּלְשִׁמְךָ אֲזַמֵּרָה׃ ט Romans Rom 15:9 daß die Heiden aber Gott loben um der Barmherzigkeit willen, wie geschrieben steht: "Darum will ich dich loben unter den Heiden und deinem Namen singen."(dhs) Rom 15:9 and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name."(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:10 ============ Rom 15:10 Again he says, "REJOICE, O GENTILES, WITH HIS PEOPLE."(nas) Rom 15:10 καὶ πάλιν λέγει, εὐφράνθητε, ἔθνη, μετὰ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:10 Et iterum dicit: Lætamini gentes cum plebe ejus.(vulgate) וְעוֹד כָּתוּב הַרְנִינוּ גוֹיִם עַמּוֹ׃ י Romans Rom 15:10 Und abermals spricht er: "Freut euch, ihr Heiden, mit seinem Volk!"(dhs) Rom 15:10 And again he says: "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!"(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:11 ============ Rom 15:11 And again, "PRAISE THE LORD ALL YOU GENTILES, AND LET ALL THE PEOPLES PRAISE HIM."(nas) Rom 15:11 καὶ πάλιν, αἰνεῖτε, πάντα τὰ ἔθνη, τὸν κύριον, καὶ ἐπαινεσάτωσαν αὐτὸν πάντες οἱ λαοί. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:11 Et iterum: Laudate omnes gentes Dominum: et magnificate eum omnes populi.(vulgate) וְעוֹד הַלְלוּ אֶת־יְהוָֹה כָּל־גּוֹיִם שַׁבְּחוּהוּ כָּל־הָאֻמִּים׃ יא Romans Rom 15:11 Und abermals: "Lobt den HERRN, alle Heiden, und preiset ihn, alle Völker!"(dhs) Rom 15:11 And again: "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples!"(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:12 ============ Rom 15:12 Again Isaiah says, "THERE SHALL COME THE ROOT OF JESSE, AND HE WHO ARISES TO RULE OVER THE GENTILES, IN HIM SHALL THE GENTILES HOPE."(nas) Rom 15:12 καὶ πάλιν ἠσαΐας λέγει, ἔσται ἡ ῥίζα τοῦ ἰεσσαί, καὶ ὁ ἀνιστάμενος ἄρχειν ἐθνῶν· ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶ ἔθνη ἐλπιοῦσιν. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:12 Et rursus Isaias ait: Erit radix Jesse, et qui exsurget regere gentes, in eum gentes sperabunt.(vulgate) וִישַׁעְיָה יֹאמַר עוֹד וְהָיָה שֹׁרֶשׁ יִשַׁי וְהָעֹמֵד לִמְשֹׁל בָּעַמִּים אֵלָיו גּוֹיִם יְקַוּוּ׃ יב Romans Rom 15:12 Und abermals spricht Jesaja: "Es wird sein die Wurzel Jesse's, und der auferstehen wird, zu herrschen über die Heiden; auf den werden die Heiden hoffen."(dhs) Rom 15:12 And again, Isaiah says: "There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope."(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:13 ============ Rom 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.(nas) Rom 15:13 ὁ δὲ θεὸς τῆς ἐλπίδος πληρώσαι ὑμᾶς πάσης χαρᾶς καὶ εἰρήνης ἐν τῶ πιστεύειν, εἰς τὸ περισσεύειν ὑμᾶς ἐν τῇ ἐλπίδι ἐν δυνάμει πνεύματος ἁγίου. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:13 Deus autem spei repleat vos omni gaudio, et pace in credendo: ut abundetis in spe, et virtute Spiritus Sancti.~(vulgate) וֵאלֹהֵי הַתִּקְוָה יְמַלֵּא אֶתְכֶם כָּל־שִׂמְחָה וְשָׁלוֹם בֶּאֱמוּנַתְכֶם לְהוֹסִיף חַיִל בְּתִקְוָה בְּעֹז רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃ יג Romans Rom 15:13 Der Gott aber der Hoffnung erfülle euch mit aller Freude und Frieden im Glauben, daß ihr völlige Hoffnung habet durch die Kraft des heiligen Geistes.(dhs) Rom 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:14 ============ Rom 15:14 And concerning you, my brethren, I myself also am convinced that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able also to admonish one another.(nas) Rom 15:14 πέπεισμαι δέ, ἀδελφοί μου, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐγὼ περὶ ὑμῶν, ὅτι καὶ αὐτοὶ μεστοί ἐστε ἀγαθωσύνης, πεπληρωμένοι πάσης [τῆς] γνώσεως, δυνάμενοι καὶ ἀλλήλους νουθετεῖν. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:14 Certus sum autem fratres mei et ego ipse de vobis, quoniam et ipsi pleni estis dilectione, repleti omni scientia, ita ut possitis alterutrum monere.(vulgate) וְגַם־בָּכֶם אַחַי בָּטְחָה נַפְשִׁי מְאֹד כִּי־אַתֶּם מְלֵאִים חֶסֶד שְׁלֵמִים בְּכָל־דַּעַת וּנְכֹנִים לְהַזְהִיר אִישׁ אֶת־אָחִיו׃ יד Romans Rom 15:14 Ich weiß aber gar wohl von euch, liebe Brüder, daß ihr selber voll Gütigkeit seid, erfüllt mit Erkenntnis, daß ihr euch untereinander könnet ermahnen.(dhs) Rom 15:14 Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:15 ============ Rom 15:15 But I have written very boldly to you on some points so as to remind you again, because of the grace that was given me from God,(nas) Rom 15:15 τολμηρότερον δὲ ἔγραψα ὑμῖν ἀπὸ μέρους, ὡς ἐπαναμιμνῄσκων ὑμᾶς διὰ τὴν χάριν τὴν δοθεῖσάν μοι ὑπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:15 Audacius autem scripsi vobis fratres ex parte, tamquam in memoriam vos reducens: propter gratiam, quæ data est mihi a Deo,(vulgate) וַאֲנִי בְּיֶתֶר עֹז כָּתַבְתִּי אֲלֵיכֶם עַל־אֹדוֹת דְּבָרִים אֲחָדִים כְּמַזְכִּיר אֲנִי לִפְנֵיכֶם אַחֲרֵי אֲשֶׁר הִטָּה אֱלֹהִים אֵלַי חָסֶד׃ טו Romans Rom 15:15 Ich habe es aber dennoch gewagt und euch etwas wollen schreiben, liebe Brüder, euch zu erinnern, um der Gnade willen, die mir von Gott gegeben ist,(dhs) Rom 15:15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of the grace given to me by God,(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:16 ============ Rom 15:16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.(nas) Rom 15:16 εἰς τὸ εἶναί με λειτουργὸν χριστοῦ ἰησοῦ εἰς τὰ ἔθνη, ἱερουργοῦντα τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τοῦ θεοῦ, ἵνα γένηται ἡ προσφορὰ τῶν ἐθνῶν εὐπρόσδεκτος, ἡγιασμένη ἐν πνεύματι ἁγίῳ. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:26 Probaverunt enim Macedonia et Achaia collationem aliquam facere in pauperes sanctorum, qui sunt in Jerusalem.(vulgate) כִּי־יָשָׁר הַדָּבָר בְּעֵינֵי הַמַּקְּדוֹנִים וְהָאֲכַיִּים לְהָרִים מַשְׂאַת נְדָבָה אֶל־אֶבְיוֹנֵי יְרוּשָׁלַיִם הַקְּדוֹשִׁים׃ כו Romans Rom 15:26 Denn die aus Mazedonien und Achaja haben willig eine gemeinsame Steuer zusammengelegt den armen Heiligen zu Jerusalem.(dhs) Rom 15:26 For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Romans 15:27 ============ Rom 15:27 Yes, they were pleased to do so, and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.(nas) Rom 15:27 εὐδόκησαν γάρ, καὶ ὀφειλέται εἰσὶν αὐτῶν· εἰ γὰρ τοῖς πνευματικοῖς αὐτῶν ἐκοινώνησαν τὰ ἔθνη, ὀφείλουσιν καὶ ἐν τοῖς σαρκικοῖς λειτουργῆσαι αὐτοῖς. (Nestle-Aland) Rom 15:27 Placuit enim eis: et debitores sunt eorum. Nam si spiritualium eorum participes facti sunt gentiles, debent et in carnalibus ministrare illis.(vulgate) וְהַדָּבָר הַזֶּה יָשָׁר בְּעֵינֵיהֶם וְגַם־חוֹב הֵם מְשִׁיבִים לָהֶם כִּי אִם־הַגּוֹיִם נֹאחֲזוּ בְנַחֲלָתָם כַּחֲבֵרִים בְּחַיֵּי הָרוּחַ הֲלֹא גַּם־עֲלֵיהֶם לְהַחֲיֹתָם בְּחַיֵּי בְשָׂרִים׃ כז Romans Rom 15:27 Sie haben's willig getan, und sind auch ihre Schuldner.
