(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 2:5 Si quis autem contristavit, non me contristavit: sed ex parte, ut non onerem omnes vos.(vulgate) וְאִם־אִישׁ מִכֶּם נָתַן עֲצָבֶת לֹא רַק אֹתִי לְבַדִּי הֶעֱצִיב כִּי אִם־מִבְּלִי אַכְבִּיר מִלִּים כִּמְעַט אֶתְכֶם כֻּלְּכֶם הֶעֱצִיב׃ ה Corinthians2 2Co 2:5 So aber jemand eine Betrübnis hat angerichtet, der hat nicht mich betrübt, sondern zum Teil, auf daß ich nicht zu viel sage, euch alle.(dhs) 2Co 2:5 But if anyone has caused grief, he has not grieved me, but all of you to some extent--not to be too severe.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 2:6 ============ 2Co 2:6 Sufficient for such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the majority,(nas) 2Co 2:6 ἱκανὸν τῶ τοιούτῳ ἡ ἐπιτιμία αὕτη ἡ ὑπὸ τῶν πλειόνων, (Nestle-Aland) 2Co 2:6 Sufficit illi, qui ejusmodi est, objurgatio hæc, quæ fit a pluribus:(vulgate) אַךְ דַּי לָאִישׁ הַהוּא הַזַּעַם אֲשֶׁר זְעָמוּהוּ רַבִּים׃ ו Corinthians2 2Co 2:6 Es ist aber genug, daß derselbe von vielen also gestraft ist,(dhs) 2Co 2:6 This punishment which was inflicted by the majority is sufficient for such a man,(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 2:7 ============ 2Co 2:7 so that on the contrary you should rather forgive and comfort him, otherwise such a one might be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.(nas) 2Co 2:7 ὥστε τοὐναντίον μᾶλλον ὑμᾶς χαρίσασθαι καὶ παρακαλέσαι, μή πως τῇ περισσοτέρᾳ λύπῃ καταποθῇ ὁ τοιοῦτος. (Nestle-Aland) 2Co 2:7 ita ut e contrario magis donetis, et consolemini, ne forte abundantiori tristitia absorbeatur qui ejusmodi est.(vulgate) עַל־כֵּן אֵפוֹא שׁוּבוּ תְּנוּ חֲנִינָה לָאִישׁ הַהוּא וְדַבְּרוּ עַל־לִבּוֹ פֶּן־יְבֻלַּע בִּיגוֹנוֹ כִּי רַב הוּא׃ ז Corinthians2 2Co 2:7 daß ihr nun hinfort ihm desto mehr vergebet und ihn tröstet, auf daß er nicht in allzu große Traurigkeit versinke.(dhs) 2Co 2:7 so that, on the contrary, you ought rather to forgive and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one be swallowed up with too much sorrow.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 2:8 ============ 2Co 2:8 Wherefore I urge you to reaffirm your love for him.(nas) 2Co 2:8 διὸ παρακαλῶ ὑμᾶς κυρῶσαι εἰς αὐτὸν ἀγάπην· (Nestle-Aland) 2Co 2:8 Propter quod obsecro vos, ut confirmetis in illum caritatem.(vulgate) וְלָזֹאת אֲנִי שֹׁאֵל מֵאִתְּכֶם פִּקְדוּ־נָא אֹתוֹ בְּאַהֲבַתְכֶם׃ ח Corinthians2 2Co 2:8 Darum ermahne ich euch, daß ihr die Liebe an ihm beweiset.(dhs) 2Co 2:8 Therefore I urge you to reaffirm your love to him.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 2:9 ============ 2Co 2:9 For to this end also I wrote, so that I might put you to the test, whether you are obedient in all things.(nas) 2Co 2:9 εἰς τοῦτο γὰρ καὶ ἔγραψα ἵνα γνῶ τὴν δοκιμὴν ὑμῶν, εἰ εἰς πάντα ὑπήκοοί ἐστε. Denn auch ich, so ich etwas vergebe jemand, das vergebe ich um euretwillen an Christi Statt,(dhs) 2Co 2:10 Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. Et ad hæc quis tam idoneus?(vulgate) לָאֵלֶּה רֵיחַ הַמָּוֶת לַמָּוֶת וְלָאֵלֶּה רֵיחַ הַחַיִּים לַחַיִּים וּמִי־הוּא נָכוֹן לִכְהֻנָּה כָזֹאת׃ טז Corinthians2 2Co 2:16 diesen ein Geruch des Todes zum Tode, jenen aber ein Geruch des Lebens zum Leben. Und wer ist hierzu tüchtig?(dhs) 2Co 2:16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life.
