(Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:1 Habuit quidem et prius justificationes culturæ, et Sanctum sæculare.(vulgate) אוּלָם גַּם־הַבְּרִית הָרִאשֹׁנָה הָיוּ לָהּ חֻקֵּי עֲבוֹדַת־אֵל וּמִקְדַּשׁ מַטָּה בָּאָרֶץ׃ א Hebrews Heb 9:1 Es hatte zwar auch das erste seine Rechte des Gottesdienstes und das äußerliche Heiligtum.(dhs) Heb 9:1 Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:2 ============ Heb 9:2 For there was a tabernacle prepared, the outer one, in which were the lampstand and the table and the sacred bread; this is called the holy place.(nas) Heb 9:2 σκηνὴ γὰρ κατεσκευάσθη ἡ πρώτη ἐν ᾗ ἥ τε λυχνία καὶ ἡ τράπεζα καὶ ἡ πρόθεσις τῶν ἄρτων, ἥτις λέγεται ἅγια· (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:2 Tabernaculum enim factum est primum, in quo erant candelabra, et mensa, et propositio panum, quæ dicitur Sancta.(vulgate) כִּי נַעֲשָׂה הַמִשְׁכָּן הַחִיצוֹן אֲשֶׁר שָׁם הַמְּנוֹרָה וְהַשֻּׁלְחָן וְלֶחֶם הַפָּנִים וְהוּא נִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ׃ ב Hebrews Heb 9:2 Denn es war da aufgerichtet das Vorderteil der Hütte, darin der Leuchter war und der Tisch und die Schaubrote; und dies hieß das Heilige.(dhs) Heb 9:2 For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary;(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:3 ============ Heb 9:3 Behind the second veil there was a tabernacle which is called the Holy of Holies,(nas) Heb 9:3 μετὰ δὲ τὸ δεύτερον καταπέτασμα σκηνὴ ἡ λεγομένη ἅγια ἁγίων, (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:3 Post velamentum autem secundum, tabernaculum, quod dicitur Sancta sanctorum:(vulgate) וּמִבֵּית לַפָּרֹכֶת מִשְׁכָּן הַנִּקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים׃ ג Hebrews Heb 9:3 Hinter dem andern Vorhang aber war die Hütte, die da heißt das Allerheiligste;(dhs) Heb 9:3 and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All,(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:4 ============ Heb 9:4 having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered on all sides with gold, in which was a golden jar holding the manna, and Aaron's rod which budded, and the tables of the covenant;(nas) Heb 9:4 χρυσοῦν ἔχουσα θυμιατήριον καὶ τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης περικεκαλυμμένην πάντοθεν χρυσίῳ, ἐν ᾗ στάμνος χρυσῆ ἔχουσα τὸ μάννα καὶ ἡ ῥάβδος ἀαρὼν ἡ βλαστήσασα καὶ αἱ πλάκες τῆς διαθήκης, (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:4 aureum habens thuribulum, et arcam testamenti circumtectam ex omni parte auro, in qua urna aurea habens manna, et virga Aaron, quæ fronduerat, et tabulæ testamenti,(vulgate) שָׁם מַחְתַּת הַזָּהָב וַאֲרוֹן הַבְּרִית מְצֻפֶּה זָהָב סָבִיב וְצִנְצֶנֶת זָהָב אֲשֶׁר הַמָּן בְּתוֹכָהּ וּמַטֵּה אַהֲרֹן אֲשֶׁר פָּרַח וְלוּחֹת הַבְּרִית׃ ד Hebrews Heb 9:4 die hatte das goldene Räuchfaß und die Lade des Testaments allenthalben mit Gold überzogen, in welcher war der goldene Krug mit dem Himmelsbrot und die Rute Aarons, die gegrünt hatte, und die Tafeln des Testaments;(dhs) Heb 9:4 which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:5 ============ Heb 9:5 and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat; but of these things we cannot now speak in detail.(nas) Heb 9:5 ὑπεράνω δὲ αὐτῆς χερουβὶν δόξης κατασκιάζοντα τὸ ἱλαστήριον· περὶ ὧν οὐκ ἔστιν νῦν λέγειν κατὰ μέρος. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:5 superque eam erant cherubim gloriæ obumbrantia propitiatorium: de quibus non est modo dicendum per singula.(vulgate) וּמִלְמַעְלָה כְּרוּבֵי הַכָּבוֹד סֹכְכִים עַל־הַכַּפֹּרֶת וְאֵין לָנוּ עַתָּה לְדַבֵּר עַל־כָּל־חֵלֶק וְחֵלֶק לְבַדּוֹ׃ ה Hebrews Heb 9:5 obendarüber aber waren die Cherubim der Herrlichkeit, die überschatteten den Gnadenstuhl; von welchen Dingen jetzt nicht zu sagen ist insonderheit.(dhs) Heb 9:5 and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:6 ============ Heb 9:6 Now when these things have been so prepared, the priests are continually entering the outer tabernacle performing the divine worship,(nas) Heb 9:6 τούτων δὲ οὕτως κατεσκευασμένων, εἰς μὲν τὴν πρώτην σκηνὴν διὰ παντὸς εἰσίασιν οἱ ἱερεῖς τὰς λατρείας ἐπιτελοῦντες, (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:6 His vero ita compositis, in priori quidem tabernaculo semper introibant sacerdotes, sacrificiorum officia consummantes:(vulgate) וְכַאֲשֶׁר נַעֲשׂוּ אֵלֶּה בָּאוּ תָמִיד הַכֹּהֲנִים עֹבְדֵי עֲבֹדָה אֶל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן הַחִיצוֹן׃ ו Hebrews Heb 9:6 Da nun solches also zugerichtet war, gingen die Priester allezeit in die vordere Hütte und richteten aus den Gottesdienst.(dhs) Heb 9:6 Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:7 ============ Heb 9:7 but into the second, only the high priest enters once a year, not without taking blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance.(nas) Heb 9:7 εἰς δὲ τὴν δευτέραν ἅπαξ τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ μόνος ὁ ἀρχιερεύς, οὐ χωρὶς αἵματος, ὃ προσφέρει ὑπὲρ ἑαυτοῦ καὶ τῶν τοῦ λαοῦ ἀγνοημάτων, (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:7 in secundo autem semel in anno solus pontifex non sine sanguine, quem offert pro sua et populi ignorantia:(vulgate) וְאֶל־הַפְּנִימִי בָּא הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל לְבַדּוֹ פַּעַם אַחַת בַּשָּׁנָה לֹא בִּבְלִי־דָם אֲשֶׁר הִזָּה לְכַפֵּר בַּעֲדוֹ וּבְעַד שִׁגְגוֹת הָעָם׃ ז Hebrews Heb 9:7 In die andere aber ging nur einmal im Jahr allein der Hohepriester, nicht ohne Blut, das er opferte für seine und des Volkes Versehen.(dhs) Heb 9:7 But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people's sins committed in ignorance;(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:8 ============ Heb 9:8 The Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing,(nas) Heb 9:8 τοῦτο δηλοῦντος τοῦ πνεύματος τοῦ ἁγίου, μήπω πεφανερῶσθαι τὴν τῶν ἁγίων ὁδὸν ἔτι τῆς πρώτης σκηνῆς ἐχούσης στάσιν, (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:8 hoc significante Spiritu Sancto, nondum propalatam esse sanctorum viam, adhuc priore tabernaculo habente statum:(vulgate) בְּזֹאת הוֹדִיעַ רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ כִּי עוֹד לֹא נִפְתַּח הַדֶּרֶךְ לְקֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים כָּל־עוֹד הַמִשְׁכָּן הָרִאשׁוֹן עֹמֵד עַל־מְכוֹנוֹ׃ ח Hebrews Heb 9:8 Damit deutete der heilige Geist, daß noch nicht offenbart wäre der Weg zum Heiligen, solange die vordere Hütte stünde,(dhs) Heb 9:8 the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:9 ============ Heb 9:9 which is a symbol for the present time. Accordingly both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make the worshiper perfect in conscience,(nas) Heb 9:9 ἥτις παραβολὴ εἰς τὸν καιρὸν τὸν ἐνεστηκότα, καθ᾽ ἣν δῶρά τε καὶ θυσίαι προσφέρονται μὴ δυνάμεναι κατὰ συνείδησιν τελειῶσαι τὸν λατρεύοντα, (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:9 quæ parabola est temporis instantis: juxta quam munera, et hostiæ offeruntur, quæ non possunt juxta conscientiam perfectum facere servientem, solummodo in cibis, et in potibus,(vulgate) וְזֶה הוּא לְמשָׁל לַזְּמָן הַזֶּה בְּהַקְרִיבָם מִנְחָה וָזֶבַח אֲשֶׁר אֵין בָּם לְהָכִין לֵבָב שָׁלֵם אֶל־הָעֹבְדִים׃ ט Hebrews Heb 9:9 welche ist ein Gleichnis auf die gegenwärtige Zeit, nach welchem Gaben und Opfer geopfert werden, die nicht können vollkommen machen nach dem Gewissen den, der da Gottesdienst tut(dhs) Heb 9:9 It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience--(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:10 ============ Heb 9:10 since they relate only to food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until a time of reformation.(nas) Heb 9:10 μόνον ἐπὶ βρώμασιν καὶ πόμασιν καὶ διαφόροις βαπτισμοῖς, δικαιώματα σαρκὸς μέχρι καιροῦ διορθώσεως ἐπικείμενα. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:10 et variis baptismatibus, et justitiis carnis usque ad tempus correctionis impositis.~(vulgate) כִּי חֻקּוֹת הַגּוּף הֵם עִם־מַאֲכָל וּמִשְׁתֶּה וּטְבִילוֹת שֹׁנוֹת אֲשֶׁר נִתְּנוּ עַד־עֵת הַתִּקּוּן׃ י Hebrews Heb 9:10 allein mit Speise und Trank und mancherlei Taufen und äußerlicher Heiligkeit, die bis auf die Zeit der Besserung sind aufgelegt.(dhs) Heb 9:10 concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:11 ============ Heb 9:11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation;(nas) Heb 9:11 χριστὸς δὲ παραγενόμενος ἀρχιερεὺς τῶν γενομένων ἀγαθῶν διὰ τῆς μείζονος καὶ τελειοτέρας σκηνῆς οὐ χειροποιήτου, τοῦτ᾽ ἔστιν οὐ ταύτης τῆς κτίσεως, (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:11 Christus autem assistens pontifex futurorum bonorum, per amplius et perfectius tabernaculum, non manufactum, id est, non hujus creationis:(vulgate) אֲבָל בְּבֹא הַמָּשִׁיחַ לִהְיוֹת לְכֹהֵן גָּדוֹל עַל־הַטֹּבוֹת הָעֲתִידוֹת בַּמִּשְׁכָּן הַגָּדוֹל וְהַשָּׁלֵם אֲשֶׁר אֵינֶנּוּ מַעֲשֶׂה יָדַיִם וְאֵינֶנּוּ מֵהַבְּרִיאָה הַלֵּזוּ׃ יא Hebrews Heb 9:11 Christus aber ist gekommen, daß er sei ein Hoherpriester der zukünftigen Güter, und ist durch eine größere und vollkommenere Hütte, die nicht mit der Hand gemacht, das ist, die nicht von dieser Schöpfung ist,(dhs) Heb 9:11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:12 ============ Heb 9:12 and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.(nas) Heb 9:12 οὐδὲ δι᾽ αἵματος τράγων καὶ μόσχων διὰ δὲ τοῦ ἰδίου αἵματος, εἰσῆλθεν ἐφάπαξ εἰς τὰ ἅγια, αἰωνίαν λύτρωσιν εὑράμενος. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:12 neque per sanguinem hircorum aut vitulorum, sed per proprium sanguinem introivit semel in Sancta, æterna redemptione inventa.(vulgate) הוּא בָא פַעַם אַחַת אֶל־הַקֹּדֶשׁ לֹא בְדַם שְׂעִירִים וַעֲגָלִים כִּי אִם־בְּדַם נַפְשׁוֹ וַיִּמְצָא פְּדוּת עוֹלָם׃ יב Hebrews Heb 9:12 auch nicht der Böcke oder Kälber Blut, sondern sein eigen Blut einmal in das Heilige eingegangen und hat eine ewige Erlösung erfunden.(dhs) Heb 9:12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:13 ============ Heb 9:13 For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh,(nas) Heb 9:13 εἰ γὰρ τὸ αἷμα τράγων καὶ ταύρων καὶ σποδὸς δαμάλεως ῥαντίζουσα τοὺς κεκοινωμένους ἁγιάζει πρὸς τὴν τῆς σαρκὸς καθαρότητα, (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:13 Si enim sanguis hircorum et taurorum, et cinis vitulæ aspersus inquinatos sanctificat ad emundationem carnis:(vulgate) וְאִם דַּם שְׂעִירִים וּפָרִים וְאֵפֶר הַפָּרָה זֹרַק עַל־הַטָּמֵא יְטַהֵר אֶת־בְּשָׂרוֹ וְיקַדְּשֵׁהוּ׃ יג Hebrews Heb 9:13 Denn so der Ochsen und der Böcke Blut und die Asche von der Kuh, gesprengt, heiligt die Unreinen zu der leiblichen Reinigkeit,(dhs) Heb 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:14 ============ Heb 9:14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?(nas) Heb 9:14 πόσῳ μᾶλλον τὸ αἷμα τοῦ χριστοῦ, ὃς διὰ πνεύματος αἰωνίου ἑαυτὸν προσήνεγκεν ἄμωμον τῶ θεῶ, καθαριεῖ τὴν συνείδησιν ἡμῶν ἀπὸ νεκρῶν ἔργων εἰς τὸ λατρεύειν θεῶ ζῶντι. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:14 quanto magis sanguis Christi, qui per Spiritum Sanctum semetipsum obtulit immaculatum Deo, emundabit conscientiam nostram ab operibus mortuis, ad serviendum Deo viventi?~(vulgate) אַף כִּי־דַם הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲשֶׁר בְּרוּחַ עוֹלָם הִקְרִיב אֶת־נַפְשׁוֹ בִּבְלִי־מוּם לֵאלֹהִים יְטַהֵר אֶת־לִבְּכֶם מִן־מַעֲשִׂים אֲשֶׁר מָוֶת בָּם לַעֲבֹד אֶת־אֱלֹהִים חַיִּים׃ יד Hebrews Heb 9:14 wie viel mehr wird das Blut Christi, der sich selbst ohne allen Fehl durch den ewigen Geist Gott geopfert hat, unser Gewissen reinigen von den toten Werken, zu dienen dem lebendigen Gott!(dhs) Heb 9:14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:15 ============ Heb 9:15 For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.(nas) Heb 9:15 καὶ διὰ τοῦτο διαθήκης καινῆς μεσίτης ἐστίν, ὅπως θανάτου γενομένου εἰς ἀπολύτρωσιν τῶν ἐπὶ τῇ πρώτῃ διαθήκῃ παραβάσεων τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν λάβωσιν οἱ κεκλημένοι τῆς αἰωνίου κληρονομίας. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:15 Et ideo novi testamenti mediator est: ut morte intercedente, in redemptionem earum prævaricationum, quæ erant sub priori testamento, repromissionem accipiant qui vocati sunt æternæ hæreditatis.(vulgate) בַּעֲבוּר זֹאת מַלְאָךְ מֵלִיץ הוּא לַבְּרִית הַחֲדָשָׁה וּמוֹתוֹ נִמְצָא לְכַפָּרַת הַפּשְׁעִים תַּחַת הַבְּרִית הָרִאשֹׁנָה לְמַעַן יַשִּׂיגוּ בְחִירֵי־יָהּ אֶת־הַבְטָחַת נַחֲלַת עוֹלָם׃ טו Hebrews Heb 9:15 Und darum ist er auch ein Mittler des neuen Testaments, auf daß durch den Tod, so geschehen ist zur Erlösung von den Übertretungen, die unter dem ersten Testament waren, die, so berufen sind, das verheißene ewige Erbe empfangen.(dhs) Heb 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:16 ============ Heb 9:16 For where a covenant is, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it.(nas) Heb 9:16 ὅπου γὰρ διαθήκη, θάνατον ἀνάγκη φέρεσθαι τοῦ διαθεμένου· (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:16 Ubi enim testamentum est, mors necesse est intercedat testatoris.(vulgate) כִּי בְצַוָּאַת הַמַּנְחִיל יֶחְסַר מוֹת הַמַּנְחִיל׃ טז Hebrews Heb 9:16 Denn wo ein Testament ist, da muß der Tod geschehen des, der das Testament machte.(dhs) Heb 9:16 For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 9:17 ============ Heb 9:17 For a covenant is valid only when men are dead, for it is never in force while the one who made it lives.(nas) Heb 9:17 διαθήκη γὰρ ἐπὶ νεκροῖς βεβαία, ἐπεὶ μήποτε ἰσχύει ὅτε ζῇ ὁ διαθέμενος. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:26 alioquin oportebat eum frequenter pati ab origine mundi: nunc autem semel in consummatione sæculorum, ad destitutionem peccati, per hostiam suam apparuit.(vulgate) כִּי אִם־כֵּן הָיָה לוֹ לְהִתְעַנּוֹת פְּעָמִים רַבּוֹת לְמִן הִוָּסֵד אָרֶץ אַךְ עַתָּה בְּקֵץ הַדֹּרוֹת נִגְלָה פַעַם אַחַת לְהָתֵם הַטָּאוֹת בְּזֶבַח נַפְשׁוֹ׃ כו Hebrews Heb 9:26 sonst hätte er oft müssen leiden von Anfang der Welt her. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 9:28 sic et Christus semel oblatus est ad multorum exhaurienda peccata: secundo sine peccato apparebit exspectantibus se, in salutem.(vulgate) כֵּן גַּם־הַמָּשִׁיחַ הִקְרִיב אֶת־נַפְשׁוֹ פַעַם אַחַת לָשֵׂאת חֵטְא רַבִּים וּבִבְלִי חַטָּאת יֵרָאֶה שֵׁנִית לַמְחַכִּים־לוֹ לִתְשׁוּעָה׃ כח Hebrews Heb 9:28 also ist auch Christus einmal geopfert, wegzunehmen vieler Sünden; zum andernmal wird er ohne Sünde erscheinen denen, die auf ihn warten, zur Seligkeit.(dhs) Heb 9:28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many.
