(Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:2 et hospitalitatem nolite oblivisci: per hanc enim latuerunt quidam, angelis hospitio receptis.(vulgate) וְאַל־תִּשְׁכְּחוּ מֵהַכְנִיס אֹרְחִים מֵאַהֲבָה כִּי בְאַהֲבָה זוּ יֵשׁ אֲשֶׁר בִּבְלִי־דַעַת הִכְנִיסוּ מַלְאָכִים אֶת־בָּתֵּיהֶם׃ ב Hebrews Heb 13:2 Gastfrei zu sein vergesset nicht; denn dadurch haben etliche ohne ihr Wissen Engel beherbergt.(dhs) Heb 13:2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:3 ============ Heb 13:3 Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.(nas) Heb 13:3 μιμνῄσκεσθε τῶν δεσμίων ὡς συνδεδεμένοι, τῶν κακουχουμένων ὡς καὶ αὐτοὶ ὄντες ἐν σώματι. Fornicatores enim, et adulteros judicabit Deus.(vulgate) קֹדֶשׁ תִּהְיֶה הָאִישׁוּת לְכָל־אִישׁ מִכֶּם לֹא תְחַלְּלוּ אֶת־יְצוּעַ אִישׁ וְאֶת־זֹנִים וְנֹאֲפִים יִשְׁפֹּט אֱלֹהִים׃ ד Hebrews Heb 13:4 Die Ehe soll ehrlich gehalten werden bei allen und das Ehebett unbefleckt; die Hurer aber und die Ehebrecher wird Gott richten.(dhs) Heb 13:4 Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:5 ============ Heb 13:5 Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,"(nas) Heb 13:5 ἀφιλάργυρος ὁ τρόπος· ἀρκούμενοι τοῖς παροῦσιν· αὐτὸς γὰρ εἴρηκεν, οὐ μή σε ἀνῶ οὐδ᾽ οὐ μή σε ἐγκαταλίπω· (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:5 Sint mores sine avaritia, contenti præsentibus: ipse enim dixit: Non te deseram, neque derelinquam:(vulgate) הַרְחִיקוּ דַרְכְּכֶם מֵאַהֲבַת כֶּסֶף וְשִׂמְחוּ בְדֵי חֶלְקְכֶם כִּי הוּא אָמַר לֹא אַרְפְּךָ וְלֹא אֶעֶזְבֶךָ׃ ה Hebrews Heb 13:5 Der Wandel sei ohne Geiz; und laßt euch genügen an dem, was da ist. Denn er hat gesagt: "Ich will dich nicht verlassen noch versäumen";(dhs) Heb 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:6 ============ Heb 13:6 so that we confidently say, "THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?"(nas) Heb 13:6 ὥστε θαρροῦντας ἡμᾶς λέγειν, κύριος ἐμοὶ βοηθός, [καὶ] οὐ φοβηθήσομαι· τί ποιήσει μοι ἄνθρωπος; (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:6 ita ut confidenter dicamus: Dominus mihi adjutor: non timebo quid faciat mihi homo.(vulgate) עַל־כֵּן נִבְטַח וְנֹאמַר יְהוָֹה לִי בְּעֹזְרָי לֹא אִירָא מַה־יַּעֲשֶׂה לִי אָדָם׃ ו Hebrews Heb 13:6 also daß wir dürfen sagen: "Der HERR ist mein Helfer, ich will mich nicht fürchten; was sollte mir ein Mensch tun?"(dhs) Heb 13:6 So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:7 ============ Heb 13:7 Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.(nas) Heb 13:7 μνημονεύετε τῶν ἡγουμένων ὑμῶν, οἵτινες ἐλάλησαν ὑμῖν τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ, ὧν ἀναθεωροῦντες τὴν ἔκβασιν τῆς ἀναστροφῆς μιμεῖσθε τὴν πίστιν. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:7 Mementote præpositorum vestrorum, qui vobis locuti sunt verbum Dei: quorum intuentes exitum conversationis, imitamini fidem.(vulgate) זִכְרוּ אֶת־מְאַשְּׁרֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר־הִגִּידוּ לָכֶם דְּבַר הָאֱלֹהִים בִּינוּ לְתַכְלִית דַּרְכָּם וּלְכוּ בֶאֱמוּנָתָם׃ ז Hebrews Heb 13:7 Gedenkt an eure Lehrer, die euch das Wort Gottes gesagt haben; ihr Ende schaut an und folgt ihrem Glauben nach.(dhs) Heb 13:7 Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:8 ============ Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.(nas) Heb 13:8 ἰησοῦς χριστὸς ἐχθὲς καὶ σήμερον ὁ αὐτός, καὶ εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:8 Jesus Christus heri, et hodie: ipse et in sæcula.(vulgate) יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ הִנּוֹ הוּא אֶתְמֹל וְהוּא הַיּוֹם וְהוּא לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד׃ ח Hebrews Heb 13:8 Jesus Christus gestern und heute und derselbe auch in Ewigkeit.(dhs) Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:9 ============ Heb 13:9 Do not be carried away by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.(nas) Heb 13:9 διδαχαῖς ποικίλαις καὶ ξέναις μὴ παραφέρεσθε· καλὸν γὰρ χάριτι βεβαιοῦσθαι τὴν καρδίαν, οὐ βρώμασιν, ἐν οἷς οὐκ ὠφελήθησαν οἱ περιπατοῦντες. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:9 Doctrinis variis et peregrinis nolite abduci. Optimum est enim gratia stabilire cor, non escis: quæ non profuerunt ambulantibus in eis.(vulgate) אַל־תִּמּוֹטוּ מִפְּנֵי תוֹרֹת שֹׁנוֹת וְזָרוֹת כִּי טוֹב לַלֵּב אֲשֶׁר חֶסֶד יִסְעָדֶנּוּ לֹא חֻקֵּי מַאֲכָלִים חֻקִּים לֹא־טוֹבִים לְבַעֲלֵיהֶם׃ ט Hebrews Heb 13:9 Lasset euch nicht mit mancherlei und fremden Lehren umtreiben; denn es ist ein köstlich Ding, daß das Herz fest werde, welches geschieht durch die Gnade, nicht durch Speisen, davon keinen Nutzen haben, die damit umgehen.(dhs) Heb 13:9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:11 Quorum enim animalium infertur sanguis pro peccato in Sancta per pontificem, horum corpora cremantur extra castra.(vulgate) כִּי־פִגְרֵי הַזְּבָחִים אֲשֶׁר דָּמָם הוּבָא אֶל־הַקֹּדֶשׁ בְּיַד הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל לְכַפֵּר עָוֹן נִשְׂרְפוּ מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה׃ יא Hebrews Heb 13:11 Denn welcher Tiere Blut getragen wird durch den Hohenpriester in das Heilige für die Sünde, deren Leichname werden verbrannt außerhalb des Lagers.(dhs) Heb 13:11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:12 ============ Heb 13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.(nas) Heb 13:12 διὸ καὶ ἰησοῦς, ἵνα ἁγιάσῃ διὰ τοῦ ἰδίου αἵματος τὸν λαόν, ἔξω τῆς πύλης ἔπαθεν. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:12 Propter quod et Jesus, ut sanctificaret per suum sanguinem populum, extra portam passus est.(vulgate) בַּעֲבוּר זֹאת גַּם־יֵשׁוּעַ לַאֲשֶׁר יְקַדֵּשׁ אֶת־הָעָם בְּדָמוֹ עֻנָּה מִחוּץ לַשָּׁעַר׃ יב Hebrews Heb 13:12 Darum hat auch Jesus, auf daß er heiligte das Volk durch sein eigen Blut, gelitten draußen vor dem Tor.(dhs) Heb 13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:13 ============ Heb 13:13 So, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.(nas) Heb 13:13 τοίνυν ἐξερχώμεθα πρὸς αὐτὸν ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς, τὸν ὀνειδισμὸν αὐτοῦ φέροντες· (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:13 Exeamus igitur ad eum extra castra, improperium ejus portantes.(vulgate) עַל־כֵּן נֵצְאָה־נָּא אֵלָיו אֶל־מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה וְנִשָּׂא אֶת־חֶרְפָּתוֹ׃ יג Hebrews Heb 13:13 So laßt uns nun zu ihm hinausgehen aus dem Lager und seine Schmach tragen.(dhs) Heb 13:13 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:14 ============ Heb 13:14 For here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking the city which is to come.(nas) Heb 13:14 οὐ γὰρ ἔχομεν ὧδε μένουσαν πόλιν, ἀλλὰ τὴν μέλλουσαν ἐπιζητοῦμεν. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:14 Non enim habemus hic manentem civitatem, sed futuram inquirimus.(vulgate) פֹּה אֵין־לָנוּ עִיר עֹמֶדֶת לָעַד אַךְ הָעִיר הָעֲתִידָה אָנוּ מְבַקְשִׁים׃ יד Hebrews Heb 13:14 Denn wir haben hier keine bleibende Stadt, sondern die zukünftige suchen wir.(dhs) Heb 13:14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:15 ============ Heb 13:15 Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.(nas) Heb 13:15 δι᾽ αὐτοῦ [οὗν] ἀναφέρωμεν θυσίαν αἰνέσεως διὰ παντὸς τῶ θεῶ, τοῦτ᾽ ἔστιν καρπὸν χειλέων ὁμολογούντων τῶ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:15 Per ipsum ergo offeramus hostiam laudis semper Deo, id est, fructum labiorum confitentium nomini ejus.(vulgate) וְעַתָּה נַקְרִיב עַל־יָדוֹ זִבְחֵי תוֹדָה לֵאלֹהִים תָּמִיד הֲלֹא הֵם פְּרִי שְׂפָתֵינוּ הַנֹּתְנוֹת תּוֹדָה לִשְׁמוֹ׃ טו Hebrews Heb 13:15 So lasset uns nun opfern durch ihn das Lobopfer Gott allezeit, das ist die Frucht der Lippen, die seinen Namen bekennen.(dhs) Heb 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:16 ============ Heb 13:16 And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.(nas) Heb 13:16 τῆς δὲ εὐποιΐας καὶ κοινωνίας μὴ ἐπιλανθάνεσθε, τοιαύταις γὰρ θυσίαις εὐαρεστεῖται ὁ θεός. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:16 Beneficentiæ autem et communionis nolite oblivisci: talibus enim hostiis promeretur Deus.(vulgate) אַךְ לִגְמָל־טוֹב וּלְפָזֵּר לָאֶבְיוֹנִים אַל־תִּשְׁכָּחוּ כִּי־זְבָחִים כָּאֵלֶּה הֵם לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לֵאלֹהִים׃ טז Hebrews Heb 13:16 Wohlzutun und mitzuteilen vergesset nicht; denn solche Opfer gefallen Gott wohl.(dhs) Heb 13:16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:17 ============ Heb 13:17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.(nas) Heb 13:17 πείθεσθε τοῖς ἡγουμένοις ὑμῶν καὶ ὑπείκετε, αὐτοὶ γὰρ ἀγρυπνοῦσιν ὑπὲρ τῶν ψυχῶν ὑμῶν ὡς λόγον ἀποδώσοντες, ἵνα μετὰ χαρᾶς τοῦτο ποιῶσιν καὶ μὴ στενάζοντες, ἀλυσιτελὲς γὰρ ὑμῖν τοῦτο. Ipsi enim pervigilant quasi rationem pro animabus vestris reddituri, ut cum gaudio hoc faciant, et non gementes: hoc enim non expedit vobis.~(vulgate) שִׁמְעוּ אֶל־מְאַשְּׁרֵיכֶם וְהִכָּנְעוּ מִפְּנֵיהֶם כִּי־שֹׁקְדִים הֵם עַל־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם כְּעֹמְדִים לָתֵת דִּין וְחֶשְׁבּוֹן בַּעֲבוּר יַעֲשׂוּ כָזֹאת בְּחֶדְוָה וְלֹא בַאֲנָחָה כִּי לוּלֵא כֵן לֹא־טוֹב לָכֶם הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה׃ יז Hebrews Heb 13:17 Gehorcht euren Lehrern und folgt ihnen; denn sie wachen über eure Seelen, als die da Rechenschaft dafür geben sollen; auf daß sie das mit Freuden tun und nicht mit Seufzen; denn das ist euch nicht gut.(dhs) Heb 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:18 ============ Heb 13:18 Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things.(nas) Heb 13:18 προσεύχεσθε περὶ ἡμῶν, πειθόμεθα γὰρ ὅτι καλὴν συνείδησιν ἔχομεν, ἐν πᾶσιν καλῶς θέλοντες ἀναστρέφεσθαι. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:18 Orate pro nobis: confidimus enim quia bonam conscientiam habemus in omnibus bene volentes conversari.(vulgate) הִתְפַּלְלוּ עָלֵינוּ כִּי־יָדַעְנוּ מְאֹד כִּי נָכוֹן לִבֵּנוּ וּלְהִתְהַלֵּךְ בְּמֵישָׁרִים תָּמִיד כָּל־חֶפְצֵנוּ׃ יח Hebrews Heb 13:18 Betet für uns. Unser Trost ist der, daß wir ein gutes Gewissen haben und fleißigen uns, guten Wandel zu führen bei allen.(dhs) Heb 13:18 Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:19 ============ Heb 13:19 And I urge you all the more to do this, so that I may be restored to you the sooner.(nas) Heb 13:19 περισσοτέρως δὲ παρακαλῶ τοῦτο ποιῆσαι ἵνα τάχιον ἀποκατασταθῶ ὑμῖν. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:19 Amplius autem deprecor vos hoc facere, quo celerius restituar vobis.(vulgate) וּבְחֵפֶץ יֶתֶר אֲנִי שֹׁאֵל מֵעִמָּכֶם לַעֲשׂוֹת זֹאת לְבַעֲבוּר יֻתַּן לִי לָשׁוּב אֲלֵיכֶם עַד־מְהֵרָה׃ יט Hebrews Heb 13:19 Ich ermahne aber desto mehr, solches zu tun, auf daß ich umso schneller wieder zu euch komme.(dhs) Heb 13:19 But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:20 ============ Heb 13:20 Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord,(nas) Heb 13:20 ὁ δὲ θεὸς τῆς εἰρήνης, ὁ ἀναγαγὼν ἐκ νεκρῶν τὸν ποιμένα τῶν προβάτων τὸν μέγαν ἐν αἵματι διαθήκης αἰωνίου, τὸν κύριον ἡμῶν ἰησοῦν, (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:20 Deus autem pacis, qui eduxit de mortuis pastorem magnum ovium, in sanguine testamenti æterni, Dominum nostrum Jesum Christum,(vulgate) וֵאלֹהֵי הַשָּׁלוֹם אֲשֶׁר בְּדַם בְּרִית עוֹלָם הֵקִים מִן־הַמֵּתִים אֶת־רֹעֵה הַצֹּאן הַגָּדוֹל אֶת־יֵשׁוּעַ אֲדֹנֵינוּ׃ כ Hebrews Heb 13:20 Der Gott aber des Friedens, der von den Toten ausgeführt hat den großen Hirten der Schafe durch das Blut des ewigen Testaments, unsern HERRN Jesus,(dhs) Heb 13:20 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,(nkjv) ======= Hebrews 13:21 ============ Heb 13:21 equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.(nas) Heb 13:21 καταρτίσαι ὑμᾶς ἐν παντὶ ἀγαθῶ εἰς τὸ ποιῆσαι τὸ θέλημα αὐτοῦ, ποιῶν ἐν ἡμῖν τὸ εὐάρεστον ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ διὰ ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ, ᾧ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας [τῶν αἰώνων]· ἀμήν. (Nestle-Aland) Heb 13:21 aptet vos in omni bono, ut faciatis ejus voluntatem: faciens in vobis quod placeat coram se per Jesum Christum: cui est gloria in sæcula sæculorum. Amen.(vulgate) הוּא יְכוֹנֵן אֶתְכֶם בְּכָל־מַעֲשֶׂה טּוֹב לְמַלֵּא אֶת־חֶפְצוֹ וְיִפְעַל עִמָּכֶם כַּטּוֹב בְּעֵינָיו בְּיַד־יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ הַכָּבוֹד לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד אָמֵן׃ כא Hebrews Heb 13:21 der mache euch fertig in allem guten Werk, zu tun seinen Willen, und schaffe in euch, was vor ihm gefällig ist, durch Jesum Christum; welchem sei Ehre von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit!
