Today's Date: ======= Leviticus 12:1 ============ Lev 12:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nas) Lev 12:1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων (lxx) Lev 12:1 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:(vulgate) Leviticus 12:1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,(Geneva) Lev 12:1 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:(dhs) Lev 12:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 12:2 ============ Lev 12:2 "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying:' When a woman gives birth and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean for seven days, as in the days of her menstruation she shall be unclean.(nas) Lev 12:2 λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς γυνή ἥτις ἐὰν σπερματισθῇ καὶ τέκῃ ἄρσεν καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας κατὰ τὰς ἡμέρας τοῦ χωρισμοῦ τῆς ἀφέδρου αὐτῆς ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται (lxx) Lev 12:2 Loquere filiis Israël, et dices ad eos: Mulier, si suscepto semine pepererit masculum, immunda erit septem diebus juxta dies separationis menstruæ.(vulgate) Leviticus 12:2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, When a woman hath brought forth seede, & borne a manchilde, shee shalbe vncleane seuen dayes, like as she is vncleane when she is put apart for her disease.(Geneva) Lev 12:2 Rede mit den Kindern Israel und sprich: Wenn ein Weib empfängt und gebiert ein Knäblein, so soll sie sieben Tage unrein sein, wie wenn sie ihre Krankheit leidet.(dhs) Lev 12:2 "Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'If a woman has conceived, and borne a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her customary impurity she shall be unclean.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 12:3 ============ Lev 12:3 On the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.(nas) Lev 12:3 καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ περιτεμεῖ τὴν σάρκα τῆς ἀκροβυστίας αὐτοῦ (lxx) Lev 12:3 Et die octavo circumcidetur infantulus:(vulgate) Leviticus 12:3 (And in the eight day, the foreskin of the childes flesh shalbe circumcised)(Geneva) Lev 12:3 Und am achten Tage soll man das Fleisch seiner Vorhaut beschneiden.(dhs) Lev 12:3 And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 12:4 ============ Lev 12:4 Then she shall remain in the blood of her purification for thirty-three days; she shall not touch any consecrated thing, nor enter the sanctuary until the days of her purification are completed.(nas) Lev 12:4 καὶ τριάκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τρεῖς καθήσεται ἐν αἵματι ἀκαθάρτῳ αὐτῆς παντὸς ἁγίου οὐχ ἅψεται καὶ εἰς τὸ ἁγιαστήριον οὐκ εἰσελεύσεται ἕως ἂν πληρωθῶσιν αἱ ἡμέραι καθάρσεως αὐτῆς (lxx) Lev 12:4 ipsa vero triginta tribus diebus manebit in sanguine purificationis suæ. Omne sanctum non tanget, nec ingredietur in sanctuarium, donec impleantur dies purificationis suæ.(vulgate) Leviticus 12:4 And she shal continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirtie dayes: she shal touch no halowed thing, nor come into the Sanctuarie, vntil the time of her purifying be out.(Geneva) Lev 12:4 Und sie soll daheimbleiben dreiunddreißig Tage im Blut ihrer Reinigung. Kein Heiliges soll sie anrühren, und zum Heiligtum soll sie nicht kommen, bis daß die Tage ihrer Reinigung aus sind.(dhs) Lev 12:4 She shall then continue in the blood of her purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary until the days of her purification are fulfilled.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 12:5 ============ Lev 12:5 But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean for two weeks, as in her menstruation; and she shall remain in the blood of her purification for sixty-six days.(nas) Lev 12:5 ἐὰν δὲ θῆλυ τέκῃ καὶ ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται δὶς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας κατὰ τὴν ἄφεδρον καὶ ἑξήκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ ἓξ καθεσθήσεται ἐν αἵματι ἀκαθάρτῳ αὐτῆς (lxx) Lev 12:5 Sin autem feminam pepererit, immunda erit duabus hebdomadibus juxta ritum fluxus menstrui, et sexaginta sex diebus manebit in sanguine purificationis suæ.(vulgate) Leviticus 12:5 But if she beare a mayde childe, then shee shalbe vncleane two weekes, as when shee hath her disease: and she shal continue in the blood of her purifying three score and sixe dayes.(Geneva) Lev 12:5 Gebiert sie aber ein Mägdlein, so soll sie zwei Wochen unrein sein, wie wenn sie ihre Krankheit leidet, und soll sechsundsechzig Tage daheimbleiben in dem Blut ihrer Reinigung.(dhs) Lev 12:5 But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her customary impurity, and she shall continue in the blood of her purification sixty-six days.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 12:6 ============ Lev 12:6 'When the days of her purification are completed, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the doorway of the tent of meeting a one year old lamb for a burnt offering and a young pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering.(nas) Lev 12:6 καὶ ὅταν ἀναπληρωθῶσιν αἱ ἡμέραι καθάρσεως αὐτῆς ἐφ᾽ υἱῷ ἢ ἐπὶ θυγατρί προσοίσει ἀμνὸν ἐνιαύσιον ἄμωμον εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα καὶ νεοσσὸν περιστερᾶς ἢ τρυγόνα περὶ ἁμαρτίας ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα (lxx) Lev 12:6 Cumque expleti fuerint dies purificationis suæ, pro filio sive pro filia, deferet agnum anniculum in holocaustum, et pullum columbæ sive turturem pro peccato, ad ostium tabernaculi testimonii, et tradet sacerdoti,(vulgate) Leviticus 12:6 Nowe when the dayes of her purifying are out, (whether it be for a sonne or for a daughter) shee shal bring to the Priest a lambe of one yeere olde for a burnt offering, and a yong pigeon or a turtle doue for a sinne offring, vnto the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation,(Geneva) Lev 12:6 Und wenn die Tage ihrer Reinigung aus sind für den Sohn oder für die Tochter, soll sie ein jähriges Lamm bringen zum Brandopfer und eine junge Taube oder Turteltaube zum Sündopfer dem Priester vor die Tür der Hütte des Stifts.(dhs) Lev 12:6 'When the days of her purification are fulfilled, whether for a son or a daughter, she shall bring to the priest a lamb of the first year as a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove as a sin offering, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 12:7 ============ Lev 12:7 Then he shall offer it before the Lord and make atonement for her, and she shall be cleansed from the flow of her blood. This is the law for her who bears a child, whether a male or a female.(nas) Lev 12:7 καὶ προσοίσει ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτῆς ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ καθαριεῖ αὐτὴν ἀπὸ τῆς πηγῆς τοῦ αἵματος αὐτῆς οὗτος ὁ νόμος τῆς τικτούσης ἄρσεν ἢ θῆλυ (lxx) Lev 12:7 qui offeret illa coram Domino, et orabit pro ea, et sic mundabitur a profluvio sanguinis sui: ista est lex parientis masculum aut feminam.(vulgate) Leviticus 12:7 Who shal offer it before the Lord, & make an atonement for her: so she shalbe purged of the issue of her blood this is the law for her that hath borne a male or female.(Geneva) Lev 12:7 Der soll es opfern vor dem HERRN und sie versöhnen, so wird sie rein von ihrem Blutgang. (nas) Lev 12:8 ἐὰν δὲ μὴ εὑρίσκῃ ἡ χεὶρ αὐτῆς τὸ ἱκανὸν εἰς ἀμνόν καὶ λήμψεται δύο τρυγόνας ἢ δύο νεοσσοὺς περιστερῶν μίαν εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα καὶ μίαν περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτῆς ὁ ἱερεύς καὶ καθαρισθήσεται (lxx) Lev 12:8 Quod si non invenerit manus ejus, nec potuerit offerre agnum, sumet duos turtures vel duos pullos columbarum, unum in holocaustum, et alterum pro peccato: orabitque pro ea sacerdos, et sic mundabitur.(vulgate) Leviticus 12:8 But if she bee not able to bring a lambe, she shall bring two turtles, or two yong pigeons: the one for a burnt offring, and the other for a sinne offring: and the Priest shall make an atonement for her: so she shal be cleane.(Geneva) Lev 12:8 Vermag aber ihre Hand nicht ein Schaf, so nehme sie zwei Turteltauben oder zwei junge Tauben, eine zum Brandopfer, die andere zum Sündopfer; so soll sie der Priester versöhnen, daß sie rein werde.(dhs) Lev 12:8 And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she may bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons--one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering.
