Today's Date: ======= Leviticus 13:1 ============ Lev 13:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,(nas) Lev 13:1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων (lxx) Lev 13:1 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, et Aaron, dicens:(vulgate) Leviticus 13:1 Moreouer the Lorde spake vnto Moses, and to Aaron, saying,(Geneva) Lev 13:1 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und Aaron und sprach:(dhs) Lev 13:1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:2 ============ Lev 13:2 "When a man has on the skin of his body a swelling or a scab or a bright spot, and it becomes an infection of leprosy on the skin of his body, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests.(nas) Lev 13:2 ἀνθρώπῳ ἐάν τινι γένηται ἐν δέρματι χρωτὸς αὐτοῦ οὐλὴ σημασίας τηλαυγὴς καὶ γένηται ἐν δέρματι χρωτὸς αὐτοῦ ἁφὴ λέπρας καὶ ἀχθήσεται πρὸς Ααρων τὸν ἱερέα ἢ ἕνα τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ τῶν ἱερέων (lxx) Lev 13:2 Homo, in cujus cute et carne ortus fuerit diversus color, sive pustula, aut quasi lucens quippiam, id est, plaga lepræ, adducetur ad Aaron sacerdotem, vel ad unum quemlibet filiorum ejus.(vulgate) Leviticus 13:2 The man that shall haue in the skin of his flesh a swelling or a skab, or a white spot, so that in the skinne of his flesh it be like the plague of leprosie, then he shalbe brought vnto Aaron the Priest, or vnto one of his sonnes the Priestes,(Geneva) Lev 13:2 Wenn einem Menschen an der Haut seines Fleisches etwas auffährt oder ausschlägt oder eiterweiß wird, als wollte ein Aussatz werden an der Haut seines Fleisches, soll man ihn zum Priester Aaron führen oder zu einem unter seinen Söhnen, den Priestern.(dhs) Lev 13:2 "When a man has on the skin of his body a swelling, a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes on the skin of his body like a leprous sore, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:3 ============ Lev 13:3 The priest shall look at the mark on the skin of the body, and if the hair in the infection has turned white and the infection appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is an infection of leprosy; when the priest has looked at him, he shall pronounce him unclean.(nas) Lev 13:3 καὶ ὄψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν ἁφὴν ἐν δέρματι τοῦ χρωτὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ θρὶξ ἐν τῇ ἁφῇ μεταβάλῃ λευκή καὶ ἡ ὄψις τῆς ἁφῆς ταπεινὴ ἀπὸ τοῦ δέρματος τοῦ χρωτός ἁφὴ λέπρας ἐστίν καὶ ὄψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ μιανεῖ αὐτόν (lxx) Lev 13:3 Qui cum viderit lepram in cute, et pilos in album mutatos colorem, ipsamque speciem lepræ humiliorem cute et carne reliqua: plaga lepræ est, et ad arbitrium ejus separabitur.~(vulgate) Leviticus 13:3 And the Priest shall looke on the sore in the skinne of his flesh: if the heare in the sore be turned into white, and the sore seeme to be lower then the skinne of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosie. Therefore the Priest shall looke on him, and pronounce him vncleane:(Geneva) Lev 13:3 Und wenn der Priester das Mal an der Haut des Fleisches sieht, daß die Haare in Weiß verwandelt sind und das Ansehen an dem Ort tiefer ist denn die andere Haut seines Fleisches, so ist's gewiß der Aussatz. Darum soll ihn der Priester besehen und für unrein urteilen.(dhs) Lev 13:3 The priest shall examine the sore on the skin of the body; and if the hair on the sore has turned white, and the sore appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is a leprous sore. Then the priest shall examine him, and pronounce him unclean.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:4 ============ Lev 13:4 But if the bright spot is white on the skin of his body, and it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair on it has not turned white, then the priest shall isolate him who has the infection for seven days.(nas) Lev 13:4 ἐὰν δὲ τηλαυγὴς λευκὴ ᾖ ἐν τῷ δέρματι τοῦ χρωτός καὶ ταπεινὴ μὴ ᾖ ἡ ὄψις αὐτῆς ἀπὸ τοῦ δέρματος καὶ ἡ θρὶξ αὐτοῦ οὐ μετέβαλεν τρίχα λευκήν αὐτὴ δέ ἐστιν ἀμαυρά καὶ ἀφοριεῖ ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν ἁφὴν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας (lxx) Lev 13:4 Sin autem lucens candor fuerit in cute, nec humilior carne reliqua, et pili coloris pristini, recludet eum sacerdos septem diebus:(vulgate) Leviticus 13:4 But if the white spot be in the skinne of his flesh, and seeme not to bee lower then the skin, nor the heare thereof be turned vnto white, then the Priest shall shut vp him that hath the plague, seuen dayes.(Geneva) Lev 13:4 Wenn aber etwas eiterweiß ist an der Haut des Fleisches, und doch das Ansehen der Haut nicht tiefer denn die andere Haut des Fleisches und die Haare nicht in Weiß verwandelt sind, so soll der Priester ihn verschließen sieben Tage(dhs) Lev 13:4 But if the bright spot is white on the skin of his body, and does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest shall isolate the one who has the sore seven days.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:5 ============ Lev 13:5 The priest shall look at him on the seventh day, and if in his eyes the infection has not changed and the infection has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days.(nas) Lev 13:5 καὶ ὄψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν ἁφὴν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ καὶ ἰδοὺ ἡ ἁφὴ μένει ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ οὐ μετέπεσεν ἡ ἁφὴ ἐν τῷ δέρματι καὶ ἀφοριεῖ αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεὺς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας τὸ δεύτερον (lxx) Lev 13:5 et considerabit die septimo: et si quidem lepra ultra non creverit, nec transierit in cute priores terminos, rursum recludet eum septem diebus aliis.(vulgate) Leviticus 13:5 After, the Priest shall looke vpon him the seuenth day: and if the plague seeme to him to abide still, and the plague growe not in the skin, the Priest shal shut him vp yet seuen dayes more.(Geneva) Lev 13:5 und am siebenten Tage besehen. Ist's, daß das Mal bleibt, wie er's zuvor gesehen hat, und hat nicht weitergefressen an der Haut,(dhs) Lev 13:5 And the priest shall examine him on the seventh day; and indeed if the sore appears to be as it was, and the sore has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall isolate him another seven days.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:6 ============ Lev 13:6 The priest shall look at him again on the seventh day, and if the infection has faded and the mark has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only a scab. And he shall wash his clothes and be clean.(nas) Lev 13:6 καὶ ὄψεται αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεὺς τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ τὸ δεύτερον καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀμαυρὰ ἡ ἁφή οὐ μετέπεσεν ἡ ἁφὴ ἐν τῷ δέρματι καθαριεῖ αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεύς σημασία γάρ ἐστιν καὶ πλυνάμενος τὰ ἱμάτια καθαρὸς ἔσται (lxx) Lev 13:6 Et die septimo contemplabitur: si obscurior fuerit lepra, et non creverit in cute, mundabit eum, quia scabies est: lavabitque homo vestimenta sua, et mundus erit.(vulgate) Leviticus 13:6 Then the Priest shall looke on him againe the seuenth day, and if the plague be darke, and the sore grow not in the skinne, then the Priest shal pronounce him cleane, for it is a skab: therefore he shall washe his clothes and be cleane.(Geneva) Lev 13:6 so soll ihn der Priester abermals sieben Tage verschließen. Und wenn er ihn zum andermal am siebenten Tage besieht und findet, daß das Mal verschwunden ist und nicht weitergefressen hat an der Haut, so soll er ihn rein urteilen; denn es ist ein Grind. Und er soll seine Kleider waschen, so ist er rein.(dhs) Lev 13:6 Then the priest shall examine him again on the seventh day; and indeed if the sore has faded, and the sore has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only a scab, and he shall wash his clothes and be clean.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:7 ============ Lev 13:7 "But if the scab spreads farther on the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall appear again to the priest.(nas) Lev 13:7 ἐὰν δὲ μεταβαλοῦσα μεταπέσῃ ἡ σημασία ἐν τῷ δέρματι μετὰ τὸ ἰδεῖν αὐτὸν τὸν ἱερέα τοῦ καθαρίσαι αὐτόν καὶ ὀφθήσεται τὸ δεύτερον τῷ ἱερεῖ (lxx) Lev 13:7 Quod si postquam a sacerdote visus est, et redditus munditiæ, iterum lepra creverit: adducetur ad eum,(vulgate) Leviticus 13:7 But if the skab growe more in the skinne, after that he is seene of ye Priest for to be purged, he shall be seene of the Priest yet againe.(Geneva) Lev 13:7 Wenn aber der Grind weiterfrißt in der Haut, nachdem er vom Priester besehen worden ist, ob er rein sei, und wird nun zum andernmal vom Priester besehen,(dhs) Lev 13:7 But if the scab should at all spread over the skin, after he has been seen by the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen by the priest again.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:8 ============ Lev 13:8 The priest shall look, and if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is leprosy.(nas) Lev 13:8 καὶ ὄψεται αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ἰδοὺ μετέπεσεν ἡ σημασία ἐν τῷ δέρματι καὶ μιανεῖ αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεύς λέπρα ἐστίν (lxx) Lev 13:8 et immunditiæ condemnabitur.~(vulgate) Leviticus 13:8 Then the Priest shall consider, and if the skab growe in the skin, then the Priest shal pronounce him vncleane: for it is leprosie.(Geneva) Lev 13:8 wenn dann da der Priester sieht, daß der Grind weitergefressen hat in der Haut, so soll er ihn unrein urteilen; denn es ist gewiß Aussatz.(dhs) Lev 13:8 And if the priest sees that the scab has indeed spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean. It is leprosy.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:9 ============ Lev 13:9 "When the infection of leprosy is on a man, then he shall be brought to the priest.(nas) Lev 13:9 καὶ ἁφὴ λέπρας ἐὰν γένηται ἐν ἀνθρώπῳ καὶ ἥξει πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα (lxx) Lev 13:9 Plaga lepræ si fuerit in homine, adducetur ad sacerdotem,(vulgate) Leviticus 13:9 When the plague of leprosie is in a man, he shalbe brought vnto the Priest,(Geneva) Lev 13:9 Wenn ein Mal des Aussatzes an einem Menschen sein wird, den soll man zum Priester bringen.(dhs) Lev 13:9 "When the leprous sore is on a person, then he shall be brought to the priest.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:10 ============ Lev 13:10 The priest shall then look, and if there is a white swelling in the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and there is quick raw flesh in the swelling,(nas) Lev 13:10 καὶ ὄψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐλὴ λευκὴ ἐν τῷ δέρματι καὶ αὕτη μετέβαλεν τρίχα λευκήν καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὑγιοῦς τῆς σαρκὸς τῆς ζώσης ἐν τῇ οὐλῇ (lxx) Lev 13:10 et videbit eum. Cumque color albus in cute fuerit, et capillorum mutaverit aspectum, ipsa quoque caro viva apparuerit:(vulgate) Leviticus 13:10 And the Priest shall see him: and if the swelling be white in ye skin, & haue made ye heare white, and there be rawe flesh in the swelling,(Geneva) Lev 13:10 Wenn derselbe sieht und findet, daß Weißes aufgefahren ist an der Haut und die Haare in Weiß verwandelt und rohes Fleisch im Geschwür ist,(dhs) Lev 13:10 And the priest shall examine him; and indeed if the swelling on the skin is white, and it has turned the hair white, and there is a spot of raw flesh in the swelling,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:11 ============ Lev 13:11 it is a chronic leprosy on the skin of his body, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; he shall not isolate him, for he is unclean.(nas) Lev 13:11 λέπρα παλαιουμένη ἐστίν ἐν τῷ δέρματι τοῦ χρωτός ἐστιν καὶ μιανεῖ αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ἀφοριεῖ αὐτόν ὅτι ἀκάθαρτός ἐστιν (lxx) Lev 13:11 lepra vetustissima judicabitur, atque inolita cuti. Contaminabit itaque eum sacerdos, et non recludet, quia perspicuæ immunditiæ est.(vulgate) Leviticus 13:11 It is an old leprosie in the skin of his flesh: and the Priest shall pronounce him vncleane, and shall not shut him vp, for he is vncleane.(Geneva) Lev 13:11 so ist's gewiß ein alter Aussatz in der Haut des Fleisches. Darum soll ihn der Priester unrein urteilen und nicht verschließen; denn er ist schon unrein.(dhs) Lev 13:11 it is an old leprosy on the skin of his body. The priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not isolate him, for he is unclean.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:12 ============ Lev 13:12 If the leprosy breaks out farther on the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of him who has the infection from his head even to his feet, as far as the priest can see,(nas) Lev 13:12 ἐὰν δὲ ἐξανθοῦσα ἐξανθήσῃ ἡ λέπρα ἐν τῷ δέρματι καὶ καλύψῃ ἡ λέπρα πᾶν τὸ δέρμα τῆς ἁφῆς ἀπὸ κεφαλῆς ἕως ποδῶν καθ᾽ ὅλην τὴν ὅρασιν τοῦ ἱερέως (lxx) Lev 13:12 Sin autem effloruerit discurrens lepra in cute, et operuerit omnem cutem a capite usque ad pedes, quidquid sub aspectum oculorum cadit,(vulgate) Leviticus 13:12 Also if the leprosie breake out in the skin, and the leprosie couer all the skin of the plague, from his head euen to his feete, wheresoeuer the Priest looketh,(Geneva) Lev 13:12 Wenn aber der Aussatz blüht in der Haut und bedeckt die ganze Haut, von dem Haupt bis auf die Füße, alles, was dem Priester vor Augen sein mag,(dhs) Lev 13:12 "And if leprosy breaks out all over the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the one who has the sore, from his head to his foot, wherever the priest looks,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:13 ============ Lev 13:13 then the priest shall look, and behold, if the leprosy has covered all his body, he shall pronounce clean him who has the infection; it has all turned white and he is clean.(nas) Lev 13:13 καὶ ὄψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐκάλυψεν ἡ λέπρα πᾶν τὸ δέρμα τοῦ χρωτός καὶ καθαριεῖ αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν ἁφήν ὅτι πᾶν μετέβαλεν λευκόν καθαρόν ἐστιν (lxx) Lev 13:13 considerabit eum sacerdos, et teneri lepra mundissima judicabit: eo quod omnis in candorem versa sit, et idcirco homo mundus erit.(vulgate) Leviticus 13:13 Then the Priest shall consider: and if the leprosie couer all his flesh, he shal pronounce the plague to bee cleane, because it is all turned into whitenesse: so he shalbe cleane.(Geneva) Lev 13:13 wenn dann der Priester besieht und findet, daß der Aussatz das ganze Fleisch bedeckt hat, so soll er denselben rein urteilen, dieweil es alles an ihm in Weiß verwandelt ist; denn er ist rein.(dhs) Lev 13:13 then the priest shall consider; and indeed if the leprosy has covered all his body, he shall pronounce him clean who has the sore. It has all turned white. He is clean.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:14 ============ Lev 13:14 But whenever raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.(nas) Lev 13:14 καὶ ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ὀφθῇ ἐν αὐτῷ χρὼς ζῶν μιανθήσεται (lxx) Lev 13:14 Quando vero caro vivens in eo apparuerit,(vulgate) Leviticus 13:14 But if there be raw flesh on him when he is seene, he shalbe vncleane.(Geneva) Lev 13:14 Ist aber rohes Fleisch da des Tages, wenn er besehen wird, so ist er unrein.(dhs) Lev 13:14 But when raw flesh appears on him, he shall be unclean.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:15 ============ Lev 13:15 The priest shall look at the raw flesh, and he shall pronounce him unclean; the raw flesh is unclean, it is leprosy.(nas) Lev 13:15 καὶ ὄψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸν χρῶτα τὸν ὑγιῆ καὶ μιανεῖ αὐτὸν ὁ χρὼς ὁ ὑγιής ὅτι ἀκάθαρτός ἐστιν λέπρα ἐστίν (lxx) Lev 13:15 tunc sacerdotis judicio polluetur, et inter immundos reputabitur: caro enim viva, si lepra aspergitur, immunda est.(vulgate) Leviticus 13:15 For the Priest shall see the rawe flesh, and declare him to be vncleane: for the rawe flesh is vncleane, therefore it is the leprosie.(Geneva) Lev 13:15 Und wenn der Priester das rohe Fleisch sieht, soll er ihn unrein urteilen; denn das rohe Fleisch ist unrein, und es ist gewiß Aussatz.(dhs) Lev 13:15 And the priest shall examine the raw flesh and pronounce him to be unclean; for the raw flesh is unclean. It is leprosy.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:16 ============ Lev 13:16 Or if the raw flesh turns again and is changed to white, then he shall come to the priest,(nas) Lev 13:16 ἐὰν δὲ ἀποκαταστῇ ὁ χρὼς ὁ ὑγιὴς καὶ μεταβάλῃ λευκή καὶ ἐλεύσεται πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα (lxx) Lev 13:16 Quod si rursum versa fuerit in alborem, et totum hominem operuerit,(vulgate) Leviticus 13:16 Or if the rawe flesh change and be turned into white, then he shall come to the Priest,(Geneva) Lev 13:16 Verkehrt sich aber das rohe Fleisch wieder und verwandelt sich in Weiß, so soll er zum Priester kommen.(dhs) Lev 13:16 Or if the raw flesh changes and turns white again, he shall come to the priest.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:17 ============ Lev 13:17 and the priest shall look at him, and behold, if the infection has turned to white, then the priest shall pronounce clean him who has the infection; he is clean.(nas) Lev 13:17 καὶ ὄψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ἰδοὺ μετέβαλεν ἡ ἁφὴ εἰς τὸ λευκόν καὶ καθαριεῖ ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν ἁφήν καθαρός ἐστιν (lxx) Lev 13:17 considerabit eum sacerdos, et mundum esse decernet.~(vulgate) Leviticus 13:17 And the Priest shal beholde him and if the sore be changed into white, then the Priest shall pronounce the plague cleane, for it is cleane.(Geneva) Lev 13:17 Und wenn der Priester besieht und findet, daß das Mal ist in Weiß verwandelt, soll er ihn rein urteilen; denn er ist rein.(dhs) Lev 13:17 And the priest shall examine him; and indeed if the sore has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean who has the sore. He is clean.(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:18 ============ Lev 13:18 "When the body has a boil on its skin and it is healed,(nas) Lev 13:18 καὶ σὰρξ ἐὰν γένηται ἐν τῷ δέρματι αὐτοῦ ἕλκος καὶ ὑγιασθῇ (lxx) Lev 13:18 Caro autem et cutis in qua ulcus natum est, et sanatum,(vulgate) Leviticus 13:18 The flesh also in whose skin there is a bile and is healed,(Geneva) Lev 13:18 Wenn jemandes Fleisch an der Haut eine Drüse wird und wieder heilt,(dhs) Lev 13:18 "If the body develops a boil in the skin, and it is healed,(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:19 ============ Lev 13:19 and in the place of the boil there is a white swelling or a reddish-white, bright spot, then it shall be shown to the priest;(nas) Lev 13:19 καὶ γένηται ἐν τῷ τόπῳ τοῦ ἕλκους οὐλὴ λευκὴ ἢ τηλαυγὴς λευκαίνουσα ἢ πυρρίζουσα καὶ ὀφθήσεται τῷ ἱερεῖ (lxx) Lev 13:19 et in loco ulceris cicatrix alba apparuerit, sive subrufa, adducetur homo ad sacerdotem.(vulgate) Leviticus 13:19 And in ye place of the bile there be a white swelling, or a white spot somewhat reddish, it shal be seene of the Priest.(Geneva) Lev 13:19 darnach an demselben Ort etwas Weißes auffährt oder rötliches Eiterweiß wird, soll er vom Priester besehen werden.(dhs) Lev 13:19 and in the place of the boil there comes a white swelling or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it shall be shown to the priest;(nkjv) ======= Leviticus 13:20 ============ Lev 13:20 and the priest shall look, and behold, if it appears to be lower than the skin, and the hair on it has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is the infection of leprosy, it has broken out in the boil.(nas) Lev 13:20 καὶ ὄψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ἰδοὺ ἡ ὄψις ταπεινοτέρα τοῦ δέρματος καὶ ἡ θρὶξ αὐτῆς μετέβαλεν εἰς λευκήν καὶ μιανεῖ αὐτὸν ὁ ἱερεύς λέπρα ἐστίν ἐν τῷ ἕλκει ἐξήνθησεν (lxx) Lev 13:20 Qui cum viderit locum lepræ humiliorem carne reliqua, et pilos versos in candorem, contaminabit eum: plaga enim lepræ orta est in ulcere.(vulgate) Leviticus 13:20 And when the Priest seeth it, if it appeare lower then the skinne, and the heare thereof bee changed into white, ye Priest then shal pronounce him vncleane: for it is a plague of leprosie, broken out in the bile.(Geneva) Lev 13:20 Wenn dann der Priester sieht, daß das Ansehen tiefer ist denn die andere Haut und das Haar in Weiß verwandelt, so soll er ihn unrein urteilen; denn es ist gewiß ein Aussatzmal aus der Drüse geworden.(dhs) Lev 13:20 and if, when the priest sees it, it indeed appears deeper than the skin, and its hair has turned white, the priest shall pronounce him unclean.
