Et dixit ei Dominus: Ascende, et tradam eos in manu tua.(vulgate) 1 Chronicles 14:10 Then Dauid asked counsel at God, saying, Shall I goe vp against the Philistims, and wilt thou deliuer them into mine hande? And the Lorde saide vnto him, Goe vp: for I will deliuer them into thine hande.(Geneva) 1Ch 14:10 David aber fragte Gott und sprach: Soll ich hinaufziehen wider die Philister? und willst du sie in meine Hand geben? Therefore they named that place Baal-perazim.(nas) 1Ch 14:11 καὶ ἀνέβη εἰς Βααλφαρασιν καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτοὺς ἐκεῖ Δαυιδ καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ διέκοψεν ὁ θεὸς τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου ἐν χειρί μου ὡς διακοπὴν ὕδατος διὰ τοῦτο ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου Διακοπὴ φαρασιν (lxx) 1Ch 14:11 Cumque illi ascendissent in Baalpharasim, percussit eos ibi David, et dixit: Divisit Deus inimicos meos per manum meam, sicut dividuntur aquæ: et idcirco vocatum est nomen illius loci Baalpharasim.(vulgate) 1 Chronicles 14:11 So they came vp to Baal-perazim, and Dauid smote them there: and Dauid said, God hath deuided mine enemies with mine hande, as waters are deuided: therefore they called the name of that place, Baal-perazim.(Geneva) 1Ch 14:11 Und da sie hinaufzogen gen Baal-Perazim, schlug sie David daselbst.
