Noluit autem armiger ejus hoc facere, timore perterritus: arripuit ergo Saul ensem, et irruit in eum.(vulgate) 1 Chronicles 10:4 Then sayde Saul to his armour bearer, Drawe out thy sworde, and thrust me thorowe therewith, lest these vncircumcised come and mocke at me: but his armour bearer would not, for he was sore afraid: therefore Saul tooke the sword and fell vpon it.(Geneva) 1Ch 10:4 Da sprach Saul zu seinem Waffenträger: Zieh dein Schwert aus und erstich mich damit, daß diese Unbeschnittenen nicht kommen und schändlich mit mir umgehen!
