Et nuntiaverunt domui David, dicentes: Requievit Syria super Ephraim. Et commotum est cor ejus, et cor populi ejus, sicut moventur ligna silvarum a facie venti.(vulgate) Isaiah 7:2 And it was tolde the house of Dauid, saying, Aram is ioyned with Ephraim: therefore his heart was moued, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest are moued by the winde.(Geneva) Isa 7:2 Da ward dem Hause David angesagt: Die Syrer haben sich gelagert in Ephraim. Is it too slight a thing for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God as well? (nas) Isa 7:13 καὶ εἶπεν ἀκούσατε δή οἶκος Δαυιδ μὴ μικρὸν ὑμῖν ἀγῶνα παρέχειν ἀνθρώποις καὶ πῶς κυρίῳ παρέχετε ἀγῶνα (lxx) Isa 7:13 Et dixit: [Audite ergo, domus David. (nas) Isa 7:18 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ συριεῖ κύριος μυίαις ὃ κυριεύει μέρους ποταμοῦ Αἰγύπτου καὶ τῇ μελίσσῃ ἥ ἐστιν ἐν χώρᾳ Ἀσσυρίων (lxx) Isa 7:18 Et erit in die illa: sibilabit Dominus muscæ quæ est in extremo fluminum Ægypti, et api quæ est in terra Assur;(vulgate) Isaiah 7:18 And in that day shall the Lorde hisse for the flie that is at the vttermost part of the floods of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the lande of Asshur,(Geneva) Isa 7:18 Denn zu der Zeit wird der HERR zischen der Fliege am Ende der Wasser in Ägypten und der Biene im Lande Assur,(dhs) Isa 7:18 And it shall come to pass in that day That the Lord will whistle for the fly That is in the farthest part of the rivers of Egypt, And for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 7:19 ============ Isa 7:19 They will all come and settle on the steep ravines, on the ledges of the cliffs, on all the thorn bushes and on all the watering places. (nas) Isa 7:19 καὶ ἐλεύσονται πάντες καὶ ἀναπαύσονται ἐν ταῖς φάραγξι τῆς χώρας καὶ ἐν ταῖς τρώγλαις τῶν πετρῶν καὶ εἰς τὰ σπήλαια καὶ εἰς πᾶσαν ῥαγάδα καὶ ἐν παντὶ ξύλῳ (lxx) Isa 7:19 et venient, et requiescent omnes in torrentibus vallium, et in cavernis petrarum, et in omnibus frutetis, et in universis foraminibus.(vulgate) Isaiah 7:19 And they shall come and shall light all in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rockes, and vpon all thorny places, and vpon all bushy places.(Geneva) Isa 7:19 daß sie kommen und alle sich legen an die trockenen Bäche und in die Steinklüfte und in alle Hecken und in alle Büsche.(dhs) Isa 7:19 They will come, and all of them will rest In the desolate valleys and in the clefts of the rocks, And on all thorns and in all pastures.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 7:20 ============ Isa 7:20 In that day the Lord will shave with a razor, hired from regions beyond the Euphrates (that is, with the king of Assyria), the head and the hair of the legs; and it will also remove the beard. (nas) Isa 7:20 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ξυρήσει κύριος τῷ ξυρῷ τῷ μεγάλῳ καὶ μεμεθυσμένῳ ὅ ἐστιν πέραν τοῦ ποταμοῦ βασιλέως Ἀσσυρίων τὴν κεφαλὴν καὶ τὰς τρίχας τῶν ποδῶν καὶ τὸν πώγωνα ἀφελεῖ (lxx) Isa 7:20 In die illa radet Dominus in novacula conducta in his qui trans flumen sunt, in rege Assyriorum, caput et pilos pedum, et barbam universam.(vulgate) Isaiah 7:20 In that day shall the Lorde shaue with a rasor that is hired, euen by them beyond the Riuer, by the King of Asshur, the head and the heare of the feete, and it shall consume the beard.(Geneva) Isa 7:20 Zu derselben Zeit wird der HERR das Haupt und die Haare an den Füßen abscheren und den Bart abnehmen durch ein gemietetes Schermesser, nämlich durch die, so jenseit des Stromes sind, durch den König von Assyrien.(dhs) Isa 7:20 In the same day the Lord will shave with a hired razor, With those from beyond the River, with the king of Assyria, The head and the hair of the legs, And will also remove the beard.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 7:21 ============ Isa 7:21 Now in that day a man may keep alive a heifer and a pair of sheep; (nas) Isa 7:21 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ θρέψει ἄνθρωπος δάμαλιν βοῶν καὶ δύο πρόβατα (lxx) Isa 7:21 Et erit in die illa: nutriet homo vaccam boum, et duas oves,(vulgate) Isaiah 7:21 And in the same day shall a man nourish a yong kowe, and two sheepe.(Geneva) Isa 7:21 Zu derselben Zeit wird ein Mann eine junge Kuh und zwei Schafe ziehen(dhs) Isa 7:21 It shall be in that day That a man will keep alive a young cow and two sheep;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 7:22 ============ Isa 7:22 and because of the abundance of the milk produced he will eat curds, for everyone that is left within the land will eat curds and honey.
