It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save."(nas) Isa 63:1 τίς οὗτος ὁ παραγινόμενος ἐξ Εδωμ ἐρύθημα ἱματίων ἐκ Βοσορ οὕτως ὡραῖος ἐν στολῇ βίᾳ μετὰ ἰσχύος ἐγὼ διαλέγομαι δικαιοσύνην καὶ κρίσιν σωτηρίου (lxx) Isa 63:1 [Quis est iste, qui venit de Edom, tinctis vestibus de Bosra? iste formosus in stola sua, gradiens in multitudine fortitudinis suæ? (nas) Isa 63:2 διὰ τί σου ἐρυθρὰ τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ τὰ ἐνδύματά σου ὡς ἀπὸ πατητοῦ ληνοῦ (lxx) Isa 63:2 Quare ergo rubrum est indumentum tuum, et vestimenta tua sicut calcantium in torculari?(vulgate) Isaiah 63:2 Wherefore is thine apparel red, and thy garments like him that treadeth in ye wine presse?(Geneva) Isa 63:2 Warum ist dein Gewand so rotfarben und dein Kleid wie eines Keltertreters?(dhs) Isa 63:2 Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 63:3 ============ Isa 63:3 "I have trodden the wine trough alone, And from the peoples there was no man with Me. I also trod them in My anger And trampled them in My wrath; And their lifeblood is sprinkled on My garments, And I stained all My raiment. (nas) Isa 63:3 πλήρης καταπεπατημένης καὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν οὐκ ἔστιν ἀνὴρ μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ κατεπάτησα αὐτοὺς ἐν θυμῷ καὶ κατέθλασα αὐτοὺς ὡς γῆν καὶ κατήγαγον τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν εἰς γῆν (lxx) Isa 63:3 Torcular calcavi solus, et de gentibus non est vir mecum; calcavi eos in furore meo, et conculcavi eos in ira mea: et aspersus est sanguis eorum super vestimenta mea, et omnia indumenta mea inquinavi.(vulgate) Isaiah 63:3 I haue troden the wine presse alone, and of all people there was none with mee: for I will treade them in mine anger, and tread them vnder foote in my wrath, and their blood shalbe sprinkled vpon my garments, and I will staine all my raiment.(Geneva) Isa 63:3 "Ich trete die Kelter allein, und ist niemand unter den Völkern mit mir. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 63:4 ============ Isa 63:4 "For the day of vengeance was in My heart, And My year of redemption has come. (nas) Isa 63:5 καὶ ἐπέβλεψα καὶ οὐδεὶς βοηθός καὶ προσενόησα καὶ οὐθεὶς ἀντελαμβάνετο καὶ ἐρρύσατο αὐτοὺς ὁ βραχίων μου καὶ ὁ θυμός μου ἐπέστη (lxx) Isa 63:5 Circumspexi, et non erat auxiliator; quæsivi, et non fuit qui adjuvaret: et salvavit mihi brachium meum, et indignatio mea ipsa auxiliata est mihi.(vulgate) Isaiah 63:5 And I looked, and there was none to helpe, and I wondered that there was none to vpholde: therefore mine owne arme helped me, and my wrath it selfe sustained me.(Geneva) Isa 63:5 Und ich sah mich um, und da war kein Helfer; und ich verwunderte mich, und niemand stand mir bei; sondern mein Arm mußte mir helfen, und mein Zorn stand mir bei.(dhs) Isa 63:5 I looked, but there was no one to help, And I wondered That there was no one to uphold; Therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me; And My own fury, it sustained Me.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 63:6 ============ Isa 63:6 "I trod down the peoples in My anger And made them drunk in My wrath, And I poured out their lifeblood on the earth." So He became their Savior. (nas) Isa 63:8 καὶ εἶπεν οὐχ ὁ λαός μου τέκνα οὐ μὴ ἀθετήσωσιν καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτοῖς εἰς σωτηρίαν (lxx) Isa 63:8 Et dixit: Verumtamen populus meus est, filii non negantes; et factus est eis salvator.(vulgate) Isaiah 63:8 For he saide, Surely they are my people, children that wil not lie: so he was their Sauiour.(Geneva) Isa 63:8 Denn er sprach: Sie sind ja mein Volk, Kinder, die nicht falsch sind. (nas) Isa 63:9 ἐκ πάσης θλίψεως οὐ πρέσβυς οὐδὲ ἄγγελος ἀλλ᾽ αὐτὸς κύριος ἔσωσεν αὐτοὺς διὰ τὸ ἀγαπᾶν αὐτοὺς καὶ φείδεσθαι αὐτῶν αὐτὸς ἐλυτρώσατο αὐτοὺς καὶ ἀνέλαβεν αὐτοὺς καὶ ὕψωσεν αὐτοὺς πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τοῦ αἰῶνος (lxx) Isa 63:9 In omni tribulatione eorum non est tribulatus, et angelus faciei ejus salvavit eos: in dilectione sua et in indulgentia sua ipse redemit eos, et portavit eos, et elevavit eos cunctis diebus sæculi.(vulgate) Isaiah 63:9 In all their troubles he was troubled, and the Angel of his presence saued them: in his loue and in his mercie he redeemed them, and he bare them and caried them alwayes continually.(Geneva) Isa 63:9 Wer sie ängstete, der ängstete ihn auch; und der Engel seines Angesichts half ihnen. (nas) Isa 63:10 αὐτοὶ δὲ ἠπείθησαν καὶ παρώξυναν τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐστράφη αὐτοῖς εἰς ἔχθραν καὶ αὐτὸς ἐπολέμησεν αὐτούς (lxx) Isa 63:10 Ipsi autem ad iracundiam provocaverunt, et afflixerunt spiritum Sancti ejus: et conversus est eis in inimicum, et ipse debellavit eos.(vulgate) Isaiah 63:10 But they rebelled and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore was hee turned to be their enemie and he fought against them.(Geneva) Isa 63:10 Aber sie erbitterten und entrüsteten seinen heiligen Geist; darum ward er ihr Feind und stritt wider sie.(dhs) Isa 63:10 But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 63:11 ============ Isa 63:11 Then His people remembered the days of old, of Moses. Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit in the midst of them, (nas) Isa 63:11 καὶ ἐμνήσθη ἡμερῶν αἰωνίων ὁ ἀναβιβάσας ἐκ τῆς γῆς τὸν ποιμένα τῶν προβάτων ποῦ ἐστιν ὁ θεὶς ἐν αὐτοῖς τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον (lxx) Isa 63:11 Et recordatus est dierum sæculi Moysi, et populi sui. Ubi est qui eduxit eos de mari cum pastoribus gregis sui? Ubi est qui posuit in medio ejus spiritum Sancti sui;(vulgate) Isaiah 63:11 Then he remembred the olde time of Moses and his people, saying, Where is hee that brought them vp out of the Sea with the shepheard of his sheepe? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?(Geneva) Isa 63:11 Und sein Volk gedachte wieder an die vorigen Zeiten, an Mose: "Wo ist denn nun, der sie aus dem Meer führte samt dem Hirten seiner Herde? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 63:12 ============ Isa 63:12 Who caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, Who divided the waters before them to make for Himself an everlasting name, (nas) Isa 63:12 ὁ ἀγαγὼν τῇ δεξιᾷ Μωυσῆν ὁ βραχίων τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ κατίσχυσεν ὕδωρ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτῷ ὄνομα αἰώνιον (lxx) Isa 63:12 qui eduxit ad dexteram Moysen, brachio majestatis suæ; qui scidit aquas ante eos, ut faceret sibi nomen sempiternum;(vulgate) Isaiah 63:12 He led them by the right hand of Moses with his owne glorious arme, deuiding the water before them, to make himselfe an euerlasting Name.(Geneva) Isa 63:12 der Mose bei der rechten Hand führte durch seinen herrlichen Arm? der die Wasser trennte vor ihnen her, auf daß er sich einen ewigen Namen machte?(dhs) Isa 63:12 Who led them by the right hand of Moses, With His glorious arm, Dividing the water before them To make for Himself an everlasting name,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 63:13 ============ Isa 63:13 Who led them through the depths? Ubi est zelus tuus, et fortitudo tua, multitudo viscerum tuorum et miserationum tuarum? You, O Lord, are our Father, Our Redeemer from of old is Your name. (nas) Isa 63:16 σὺ γὰρ ἡμῶν εἶ πατήρ ὅτι Αβρααμ οὐκ ἔγνω ἡμᾶς καὶ Ισραηλ οὐκ ἐπέγνω ἡμᾶς ἀλλὰ σύ κύριε πατὴρ ἡμῶν ῥῦσαι ἡμᾶς ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς τὸ ὄνομά σου ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς ἐστιν (lxx) Isa 63:16 Tu enim pater noster: et Abraham nescivit nos, et Israël ignoravit nos: tu, Domine, pater noster, redemptor noster, a sæculo nomen tuum.(vulgate) Isaiah 63:16 Doutles thou art our Father: though Abraham be ignorant of vs, and Israel knowe vs not, yet thou, O Lord, art our Father, and our redeemer: thy Name is for euer.(Geneva) Isa 63:16 Bist du doch unser Vater; denn Abraham weiß von uns nicht, und Israel kennt uns nicht. (nas) Isa 63:17 τί ἐπλάνησας ἡμᾶς κύριε ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ σου ἐσκλήρυνας ἡμῶν τὰς καρδίας τοῦ μὴ φοβεῖσθαί σε ἐπίστρεψον διὰ τοὺς δούλους σου διὰ τὰς φυλὰς τῆς κληρονομίας σου (lxx) Isa 63:17 Quare errare nos fecisti, Domine, de viis tuis; indurasti cor nostrum ne timeremus te? Convertere propter servos tuos, tribus hæreditatis tuæ.(vulgate) Isaiah 63:17 O Lorde, why hast thou made vs to erre from thy wayes? and hardened our heart from thy feare? Returne for thy seruants sake, and for the tribes of thine inheritance.(Geneva) Isa 63:17 Warum lässest du uns, HERR, irren von deinen Wegen und unser Herz verstocken, daß wir dich nicht fürchten?
