(nas) Jer 1:9 καὶ ἐξέτεινεν κύριος τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ πρός με καὶ ἥψατο τοῦ στόματός μου καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἰδοὺ δέδωκα τοὺς λόγους μου εἰς τὸ στόμα σου (lxx) Jer 1:9 Et misit Dominus manum suam, et tetigit os meum, et dixit Dominus ad me: [Ecce dedi verba mea in ore tuo:(vulgate) Jeremiah 1:9 Then the Lord stretched out his hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said vnto me, Beholde, I haue put my wordes in thy mouth.(Geneva) Jer 1:9 Und der HERR reckte seine Hand aus und rührte meinen Mund an und sprach zu mir: Siehe, ich lege meine Worte in deinen Mund.(dhs) Jer 1:9 Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:10 ============ Jer 1:10 "See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, To pluck up and to break down, To destroy and to overthrow, To build and to plant." (nas) Jer 1:10 ἰδοὺ κατέστακά σε σήμερον ἐπὶ ἔθνη καὶ βασιλείας ἐκριζοῦν καὶ κατασκάπτειν καὶ ἀπολλύειν καὶ ἀνοικοδομεῖν καὶ καταφυτεύειν (lxx) Jer 1:10 ecce constitui te hodie super gentes et super regna, ut evellas, et destruas, et disperdas, et dissipes, et ædifices, et plantes.](vulgate) Jeremiah 1:10 Beholde, this day haue I set thee ouer the nations and ouer the kingdomes to plucke vp, and to roote out, and to destroye and throwe downe, to builde, and to plant.(Geneva) Jer 1:10 Siehe, ich setze dich heute dieses Tages über Völker und Königreiche, daß du ausreißen, zerbrechen, verstören und verderben sollst und bauen und pflanzen.(dhs) Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:11 ============ Jer 1:11 The word of the Lord came to me saying, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" And I said, "I see a rod of an almond tree."(nas) Jer 1:11 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων τί σὺ ὁρᾷς Ιερεμια καὶ εἶπα βακτηρίαν καρυΐνην (lxx) Jer 1:11 Et factum est verbum Domini ad me, dicens: [Quid tu vides, Jeremia?] Et dixi: [Virgam vigilantem ego video.](vulgate) Jeremiah 1:11 After this the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying, Ieremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almonde tree.(Geneva) Jer 1:11 Und es geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach: Jeremia, was siehst du? Ich sprach: Ich sehe einen erwachenden Zweig.(dhs) Jer 1:11 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, "Jeremiah, what do you see?" And I said, "I see a branch of an almond tree."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:12 ============ Jer 1:12 Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it."(nas) Jer 1:12 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με καλῶς ἑώρακας διότι ἐγρήγορα ἐγὼ ἐπὶ τοὺς λόγους μου τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτούς (lxx) Jer 1:12 Et dixit Dominus ad me: [Bene vidisti: quia vigilabo ego super verbo meo, ut faciam illud.](vulgate) Jeremiah 1:12 Then saide the Lorde vnto me, Thou hast seene aright: for I will hasten my worde to performe it.(Geneva) Jer 1:12 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Du hast recht gesehen; denn ich will wachen über mein Wort, daß ich's tue.(dhs) Jer 1:12 Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:13 ============ Jer 1:13 The word of the Lord came to me a second time saying, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see a boiling pot, facing away from the north."(nas) Jer 1:13 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με ἐκ δευτέρου λέγων τί σὺ ὁρᾷς καὶ εἶπα λέβητα ὑποκαιόμενον καὶ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου βορρᾶ (lxx) Jer 1:13 Et factum est verbum Domini secundo ad me, dicens: [Quid tu vides?] Et dixi: [Ollam succensam ego video, et faciem ejus a facie aquilonis.](vulgate) Jeremiah 1:13 Againe the worde of the Lorde came vnto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I saide, I see a seething pot looking out of the North.(Geneva) Jer 1:13 Und es geschah des HERRN Wort zum andernmal zu mir und sprach: Was siehst du? Ich sprach: Ich sehe einen heißsiedenden Topf von Mitternacht her.(dhs) Jer 1:13 And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north."(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:14 ============ Jer 1:14 Then the Lord said to me, "Out of the north the evil will break forth on all the inhabitants of the land. (nas) Jer 1:14 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἀπὸ προσώπου βορρᾶ ἐκκαυθήσεται τὰ κακὰ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν γῆν (lxx) Jer 1:14 Et dixit Dominus ad me: [Ab aquilone pandetur malum super omnes habitatores terræ:(vulgate) Jeremiah 1:14 Then saide the Lorde vnto me, Out of the North shall a plague be spred vpon all the inhabitants of the land.(Geneva) Jer 1:14 Und der HERR sprach zu mir: Von Mitternacht wird das Unglück ausbrechen über alle, die im Lande wohnen.(dhs) Jer 1:14 Then the Lord said to me: "Out of the north calamity shall break forth On all the inhabitants of the land.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:15 ============ Jer 1:15 For, behold, I am calling all the families of the kingdoms of the north," declares the Lord."and they will come and they will set each one his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls round about and against all the cities of Judah. (nas) Jer 1:17 καὶ σὺ περίζωσαι τὴν ὀσφύν σου καὶ ἀνάστηθι καὶ εἰπὸν πρὸς αὐτοὺς πάντα ὅσα ἂν ἐντείλωμαί σοι μὴ φοβηθῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ἐναντίον αὐτῶν ὅτι μετὰ σοῦ ἐγώ εἰμι τοῦ ἐξαιρεῖσθαί σε λέγει κύριος (lxx) Jer 1:17 Tu ergo, accinge lumbos tuos, et surge, et loquere ad eos omnia quæ ego præcipio tibi. Ne formides a facie eorum, nec enim timere te faciam vultum eorum.(vulgate) Jeremiah 1:17 Thou therefore trusse vp thy loynes, and arise and speake vnto them all that I commaunde thee: be not afraide of their faces, lest I destroy thee before them.(Geneva) Jer 1:17 So begürte nun deine Lenden und mache dich auf und predige ihnen alles, was ich dich heiße. (nas) Jer 1:18 ἰδοὺ τέθεικά σε ἐν τῇ σήμερον ἡμέρᾳ ὡς πόλιν ὀχυρὰν καὶ ὡς τεῖχος χαλκοῦν ὀχυρὸν ἅπασιν τοῖς βασιλεῦσιν Ιουδα καὶ τοῖς ἄρχουσιν αὐτοῦ καὶ τῷ λαῷ τῆς γῆς (lxx) Jer 1:18 Ego quippe dedi te hodie in civitatem munitam, et in columnam ferream, et in murum æreum, super omnem terram, regibus Juda, principibus ejus, et sacerdotibus, et populo terræ.(vulgate) Jeremiah 1:18 For I, beholde, I this day haue made thee a defenced citie, and an yron pillar and walles of brasse against the whole lande, against the Kings of Iudah, and against the princes thereof, against the Priestes thereof and against the people of the lande.(Geneva) Jer 1:18 denn ich will dich heute zur festen Stadt, zur eisernen Säule, zur ehernen Mauer machen im ganzen Lande, wider die Könige Juda's, wider ihre Fürsten, wider ihre Priester, wider das Volk im Lande,(dhs) Jer 1:18 For behold, I have made you this day A fortified city and an iron pillar, And bronze walls against the whole land-- Against the kings of Judah, Against its princes, Against its priests, And against the people of the land.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 1:19 ============ Jer 1:19 They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you to deliver you," declares the Lord. (nas) Jer 1:19 καὶ πολεμήσουσίν σε καὶ οὐ μὴ δύνωνται πρὸς σέ διότι μετὰ σοῦ ἐγώ εἰμι τοῦ ἐξαιρεῖσθαί σε εἶπεν κύριος (lxx) Jer 1:19 Et bellabunt adversum te, et non prævalebunt, quia ego tecum sum, ait Dominus, ut liberem te.](vulgate) Jeremiah 1:19 For they shall fight against thee, but they shall not preuaile against thee: for I am with thee to deliuer thee, sayth the Lord.(Geneva) Jer 1:19 daß, wenn sie gleich wider dich streiten, sie dennoch nicht sollen wider dich siegen; denn ich bin bei dir, spricht der HERR, daß ich dich errette.(dhs) Jer 1:19 They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you.
