Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 64:1 ============ Isa 64:1 Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, That the mountains might quake at Your presence"(nas) Isa 64:1 ὡς κηρὸς ἀπὸ πυρὸς τήκεται καὶ κατακαύσει πῦρ τοὺς ὑπεναντίους καὶ φανερὸν ἔσται τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου ἐν τοῖς ὑπεναντίοις ἀπὸ προσώπου σου ἔθνη ταραχθήσονται (lxx) Isa 64:1 [Utinam dirumperes cælos, et descenderes; a facie tua montes defluerent;(vulgate) Isaiah 64:1 Oh, that thou wouldest breake the heauens, and come downe, and that the mountaines might melt at thy presence!(Geneva) Isa 64:1 Ach daß du den Himmel zerrissest und führest herab, daß die Berge vor dir zerflössen, wie ein heißes Wasser vom heftigen Feuer versiedet,(dhs) Isa 64:1 Oh, that You would rend the heavens! (nas) Isa 64:3 ἀπὸ τοῦ αἰῶνος οὐκ ἠκούσαμεν οὐδὲ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ἡμῶν εἶδον θεὸν πλὴν σοῦ καὶ τὰ ἔργα σου ἃ ποιήσεις τοῖς ὑπομένουσιν ἔλεον (lxx) Isa 64:3 Cum feceris mirabilia, non sustinebimus; descendisti, et a facie tua montes defluxerunt.(vulgate) Isaiah 64:3 When thou diddest terrible things, which we looked not for, thou camest downe, and the mountaines melted at thy presence.(Geneva) Isa 64:3 durch die Wunder, die du tust, deren man sich nicht versieht, daß du herabführest und die Berge vor dir zerflössen!(dhs) Isa 64:3 When You did awesome things for which we did not look, You came down, The mountains shook at Your presence.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 64:4 ============ Isa 64:4 For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him. (nas) Isa 64:4 συναντήσεται γὰρ τοῖς ποιοῦσιν τὸ δίκαιον καὶ τῶν ὁδῶν σου μνησθήσονται ἰδοὺ σὺ ὠργίσθης καὶ ἡμεῖς ἡμάρτομεν διὰ τοῦτο ἐπλανήθημεν (lxx) Isa 64:4 A sæculo non audierunt, neque auribus perceperunt; oculus non vidit, Deus, absque te, quæ præparasti exspectantibus te.(vulgate) Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world they haue not heard nor vnderstande with the eare, neither hath ye eye seene another God beside thee, which doeth so to him that waiteth for him.(Geneva) Isa 64:4 Wie denn von der Welt her nicht vernommen ist noch mit Ohren gehört, auch kein Auge gesehen hat einen Gott außer dir, der so wohltut denen, die auf ihn harren.(dhs) Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 64:5 ============ Isa 64:5 You meet him who rejoices in doing righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways. (nas) Isa 64:5 καὶ ἐγενήθημεν ὡς ἀκάθαρτοι πάντες ἡμεῖς ὡς ῥάκος ἀποκαθημένης πᾶσα ἡ δικαιοσύνη ἡμῶν καὶ ἐξερρύημεν ὡς φύλλα διὰ τὰς ἀνομίας ἡμῶν οὕτως ἄνεμος οἴσει ἡμᾶς (lxx) Isa 64:5 Occurristi lætanti, et facienti justitiam; in viis tuis recordabuntur tui. Ecce tu iratus es, et peccavimus; in ipsis fuimus semper, et salvabimur.(vulgate) Isaiah 64:5 Thou diddest meete him, that reioyced in thee, and did iustly: they remembred thee in thy wayes: beholde, thou art angrie, for we haue sinned: yet in them is continuance, and we shal be saued.(Geneva) Isa 64:5 Du begegnest dem Fröhlichen und denen, so Gerechtigkeit übten und auf deinen Wegen dein gedachten. Siehe, du zürntest wohl, da wir sündigten und lange darin blieben; uns ward aber dennoch geholfen.(dhs) Isa 64:5 You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways. (nas) Isa 64:6 καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ἐπικαλούμενος τὸ ὄνομά σου καὶ ὁ μνησθεὶς ἀντιλαβέσθαι σου ὅτι ἀπέστρεψας τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἀφ᾽ ἡμῶν καὶ παρέδωκας ἡμᾶς διὰ τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν (lxx) Isa 64:6 Et facti sumus ut immundus omnes nos, et quasi pannus menstruatæ universæ justitiæ nostræ; et cecidimus quasi folium universi, et iniquitates nostræ quasi ventus abstulerunt nos.(vulgate) Isaiah 64:6 But we haue all bene as an vncleane thing, and all our righteousnes is as filthie cloutes, and we all doe fade like a leafe, and our iniquities like the winde haue taken vs away.(Geneva) Isa 64:6 Aber nun sind wir allesamt wie die Unreinen, und alle unsre Gerechtigkeit ist wie ein unflätig Kleid. Wir sind alle verwelkt wie die Blätter, und unsre Sünden führen uns dahin wie Wind.(dhs) Isa 64:6 But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 64:7 ============ Isa 64:7 There is no one who calls on Your name, Who arouses himself to take hold of You; For You have hidden Your face from us And have delivered us into the power of our iniquities. (nas) Isa 64:7 καὶ νῦν κύριε πατὴρ ἡμῶν σύ ἡμεῖς δὲ πηλὸς ἔργον τῶν χειρῶν σου πάντες (lxx) Isa 64:7 Non est qui invocet nomen tuum; qui consurgat, et teneat te. (nas) Isa 64:10 ὁ οἶκος τὸ ἅγιον ἡμῶν καὶ ἡ δόξα ἣν ηὐλόγησαν οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν ἐγενήθη πυρίκαυστος καὶ πάντα τὰ ἔνδοξα συνέπεσεν (lxx) Isa 64:10 Civitas Sancti tui facta est deserta, Sion deserta facta est, Jerusalem desolata est.(vulgate) Isaiah 64:10 Thine holy cities lye waste: Zion is a wildernes, and Ierusalem a desart.(Geneva) Isa 64:10 Die Städte deines Heiligtums sind zur Wüste geworden; Zion ist zur Wüste geworden, Jerusalem liegt zerstört.(dhs) Isa 64:10 Your holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 64:11 ============ Isa 64:11 Our holy and beautiful house, Where our fathers praised You, Has been burned by fire; And all our precious things have become a ruin. (nas) Isa 64:11 καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσι τούτοις ἀνέσχου κύριε καὶ ἐσιώπησας καὶ ἐταπείνωσας ἡμᾶς σφόδρα (lxx) Isa 64:11 Domus sanctificationis nostræ et gloriæ nostræ, ubi laudaverunt te patres nostri, facta est in exustionem ignis, et omnia desiderabilia nostra versa sunt in ruinas.(vulgate) Isaiah 64:11 The House of our Sanctuarie & of our glorie, where our fathers praysed thee, is burnt vp with fire and all our pleasant things are wasted.(Geneva) Isa 64:11 Das Haus unsrer Heiligkeit und Herrlichkeit, darin dich unsre Väter gelobt haben, ist mit Feuer verbrannt; und alles, was wir Schönes hatten, ist zu Schanden gemacht.(dhs) Isa 64:11 Our holy and beautiful temple, Where our fathers praised You, Is burned up with fire; And all our pleasant things are laid waste.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 64:12 ============ Isa 64:12 Will You restrain Yourself at these things, O Lord? Will You keep silent and afflict us beyond measure? (nas) Isa 64:12 -- (lxx) Isa 64:12 Numquid super his continebis te, Domine; tacebis, et affliges nos vehementer?](vulgate) Isaiah 64:12 Wilt thou holde thy selfe still at these things, O Lorde? wilt thou holde thy peace and afflict vs aboue measure?(Geneva) Isa 64:12 HERR, willst du so hart sein zu solchem und schweigen und uns so sehr niederschlagen?(dhs) Isa 64:12 Will You restrain Yourself because of these things, O Lord? Will You hold Your peace, and afflict us very severely?(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:1 ============ Isa 65:1 "I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, 'Here am I, here am I, 'To a nation which did not call on My name. (nas) Isa 65:1 ἐμφανὴς ἐγενόμην τοῖς ἐμὲ μὴ ζητοῦσιν εὑρέθην τοῖς ἐμὲ μὴ ἐπερωτῶσιν εἶπα ἰδού εἰμι τῷ ἔθνει οἳ οὐκ ἐκάλεσάν μου τὸ ὄνομα (lxx) Isa 65:1 [Quæsierunt me qui ante non interrogabant; invenerunt qui non quæsierunt me.
