Et dixit ad me: Ut metiar Jerusalem, et videam quanta sit latitudo ejus, et quanta longitudo ejus.(vulgate) Zechariah 2:2 Then saide I, Whither goest thou? And he saide vnto me, To measure Ierusalem, that I may see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.(Geneva) Zec 2:2 Und ich sprach: Wo gehst du hin? And he said to me, "To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length."(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 2:3 ============ Zec 2:3 And behold, the angel who was speaking with me was going out, and another angel was coming out to meet him, (nas) Zec 2:3 καὶ ἰδοὺ ὁ ἄγγελος ὁ λαλῶν ἐν ἐμοὶ εἱστήκει καὶ ἄγγελος ἕτερος ἐξεπορεύετο εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτῷ (lxx) Zec 2:3 Et ecce angelus qui loquebatur in me egrediebatur, et angelus alius egrediebatur in occursum ejus:(vulgate) Zechariah 2:3 And beholde, the Angel that talked with me, went foorth: and another Angel went out to meete him,(Geneva) Zec 2:3 Und siehe, der Engel, der mit mir redete, ging heraus; und ein anderer Engel ging heraus ihm entgegen(dhs) Zec 2:3 And there was the angel who talked with me, going out; and another angel was coming out to meet him,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 2:4 ============ Zec 2:4 and said to him, "Run, speak to that young man, saying, 'Jerusalem will be inhabited without walls because of the multitude of men and cattle within it. (nas) Zec 2:4 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν λέγων δράμε καὶ λάλησον πρὸς τὸν νεανίαν ἐκεῖνον λέγων κατακάρπως κατοικηθήσεται Ιερουσαλημ ἀπὸ πλήθους ἀνθρώπων καὶ κτηνῶν ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς (lxx) Zec 2:4 et dixit ad eum: Curre, loquere ad puerum istum, dicens: Absque muro habitabitur Jerusalem, præ multitudine hominum et jumentorum in medio ejus.(vulgate) Zechariah 2:4 And saide vnto him, Runne, speake to this yong man, and say, Ierusalem shalbe inhabited without walles, for the multitude of men and cattell therein.(Geneva) Zec 2:4 und sprach zu ihm: Lauf hin und sage diesem Jüngling und sprich: Jerusalem wird bewohnt werden ohne Mauern vor großer Menge der Menschen und Viehs, die darin sein werden.(dhs) Zec 2:4 who said to him, "Run, speak to this young man, saying: 'Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 2:5 ============ Zec 2:5 For I, 'declares the Lord, 'will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.'"(nas) Zec 2:5 καὶ ἐγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτῇ λέγει κύριος τεῖχος πυρὸς κυκλόθεν καὶ εἰς δόξαν ἔσομαι ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς (lxx) Zec 2:5 Et ego ero ei, ait Dominus, murus ignis in circuitu, et in gloria ero in medio ejus.(vulgate) Zechariah 2:5 For I, saith the Lord, will be vnto her a wall of fire round about, and wil be the glory in the middes of her.(Geneva) Zec 2:5 Und ich will, spricht der HERR, eine feurige Mauer umher sein und will mich herrlich darin erzeigen.(dhs) Zec 2:5 For I,' says the Lord, 'will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.' (nas) Zec 2:6 ὦ ὦ φεύγετε ἀπὸ γῆς βορρᾶ λέγει κύριος διότι ἐκ τῶν τεσσάρων ἀνέμων τοῦ οὐρανοῦ συνάξω ὑμᾶς λέγει κύριος (lxx) Zec 2:6 [O, o, fugite de terra aquilonis, dicit Dominus, quoniam in quatuor ventos cæli dispersi vos, dicit Dominus.(vulgate) Zechariah 2:6 Ho, ho, come forth, & flee from the land of the North, saith the Lord: for I haue scattered you into the foure winds of the heauen, saith ye Lord.(Geneva) Zec 2:6 Hui, hui! Fliehet aus dem Mitternachtlande! spricht der HERR; denn ich habe euch in die vier Winde unter dem Himmel zerstreut, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Zec 2:6 "Up, up! (nas) Zec 2:8 διότι τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ ὀπίσω δόξης ἀπέσταλκέν με ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη τὰ σκυλεύσαντα ὑμᾶς διότι ὁ ἁπτόμενος ὑμῶν ὡς ἁπτόμενος τῆς κόρης τοῦ ὀφθαλμοῦ αὐτοῦ (lxx) Zec 2:8 quia hæc dicit Dominus exercituum: Post gloriam misit me ad gentes quæ spoliaverunt vos: qui enim tetigerit vos, tangit pupillam oculi mei:(vulgate) Zechariah 2:8 For thus saith the Lord of hostes, After this glory hath hee sent me vnto the nations, which spoyled you: for he that toucheth you, toucheth the apple of his eye.(Geneva) Zec 2:8 Denn so spricht der HERR Zebaoth: Er hat mich gesandt nach Ehre zu den Heiden, die euch beraubt haben; denn wer euch antastet, der tastet seinen Augapfel an.(dhs) Zec 2:8 For thus says the Lord of hosts: "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 2:9 ============ Zec 2:9 For behold, I will wave My hand over them so that they will be plunder for their slaves. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me. (nas) Zec 2:9 διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπιφέρω τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς καὶ ἔσονται σκῦλα τοῖς δουλεύουσιν αὐτοῖς καὶ γνώσεσθε διότι κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἀπέσταλκέν με (lxx) Zec 2:9 quia ecce ego levo manum meam super eos, et erunt prædæ his qui serviebant sibi: et cognoscetis quia Dominus exercituum misit me.(vulgate) Zechariah 2:9 For beholde, I will lift vp mine hand vpon them: and they shalbe a spoyle to those that serued them, and ye shall knowe, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me.(Geneva) Zec 2:9 Denn siehe, ich will meine Hand über sie schwingen, daß sie sollen ein Raub werden denen, die ihnen gedient haben; und ihr sollt erfahren, daß mich der HERR Zebaoth gesandt hat.(dhs) Zec 2:9 For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 2:10 ============ Zec 2:10 Sing for joy and be glad, O daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," declares the Lord. (nas) Zec 2:10 τέρπου καὶ εὐφραίνου θύγατερ Σιων διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἔρχομαι καὶ κατασκηνώσω ἐν μέσῳ σου λέγει κύριος (lxx) Zec 2:10 Lauda et lætare, filia Sion, quia ecce ego venio, et habitabo in medio tui, ait Dominus.(vulgate) Zechariah 2:10 Reioyce, and be glad, O daughter Zion: for loe, I come, and will dwell in the middes of thee, saith the Lord.(Geneva) Zec 2:10 Freue dich und sei fröhlich, du Tochter Zion! denn siehe, ich komme und will bei dir wohnen, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Zec 2:10 "Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," says the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 2:11 ============ Zec 2:11 "Many nations will join themselves to the Lord in that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. (nas) Zec 2:11 καὶ καταφεύξονται ἔθνη πολλὰ ἐπὶ τὸν κύριον ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ καὶ ἔσονται αὐτῷ εἰς λαὸν καὶ κατασκηνώσουσιν ἐν μέσῳ σου καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ ὅτι κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐξαπέσταλκέν με πρὸς σέ (lxx) Zec 2:11 Et applicabuntur gentes multæ ad Dominum in die illa, et erunt mihi in populum, et habitabo in medio tui: et scies quia Dominus exercituum misit me ad te.(vulgate) Zechariah 2:11 And many nations shall be ioyned to the Lord in that day, and shalbe my people: and I will dwell in the middes of thee, and thou shalt knowe that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto thee.(Geneva) Zec 2:11 Und sollen zu der Zeit viel Heiden zum HERRN getan werden und sollen mein Volk sein; und ich will bei dir wohnen, und sollst erfahren, daß mich der HERR Zebaoth zu dir gesandt hat.(dhs) Zec 2:11 Many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 2:12 ============ Zec 2:12 The Lord will possess Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem. (nas) Zec 2:12 καὶ κατακληρονομήσει κύριος τὸν Ιουδαν τὴν μερίδα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τὴν ἁγίαν καὶ αἱρετιεῖ ἔτι τὴν Ιερουσαλημ (lxx) Zec 2:12 Et possidebit Dominus Judam partem suam in terra sanctificata, et eliget adhuc Jerusalem.(vulgate) Zechariah 2:12 And the Lord shall inherite Iudah his portion in the holy lande, and shall chuse Ierusalem againe.(Geneva) Zec 2:12 Und der HERR wird Juda erben als sein Teil in dem heiligen Lande und wird Jerusalem wieder erwählen.(dhs) Zec 2:12 And the Lord will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 2:13 ============ Zec 2:13 "Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord; for He is aroused from His holy habitation."
