Denn etliche machen sich noch ein Gewissen über dem Götzen und essen's für Götzenopfer; damit wird ihr Gewissen, weil es so schwach ist, befleckt.(dhs) 1Co 8:7 However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.(nkjv) ======= 1 Corinthians 8:8 ============ 1Co 8:8 But food will not commend us to God; we are neither the worse if we do not eat, nor the better if we do eat.
