Today's Date: Jer 40:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord after Nebuzaradan captain of the bodyguard had released him from Ramah, when he had taken him bound in chains among all the exiles of Jerusalem and Judah who were being exiled to Babylon.(nasb) Jérémie 40:1 La parole qui fut adressée à Jérémie de la part de l'Eternel, après que Nebuzaradan, chef des gardes, l'eut renvoyé de Rama. Jer 40:3 and the Lord has brought it on and done just as He promised. Because you people sinned against the Lord and did not listen to His voice, therefore this thing has happened to you.(nasb) Jérémie 40:3 l'Eternel a fait venir et a exécuté ce qu'il avait dit, et ces choses vous sont arrivées parce que vous avez péché contre l'Eternel et que vous n'avez pas écouté sa voix.(F) Jeremías 40:3 y Jehová lo ha traído y hecho según lo había dicho; porque pecasteis contra Jehová, y no oísteis su voz, por eso os ha venido esto.(rvg-E) 耶 利 米 書 40:3 耶 和 华 使 这 祸 临 到 ， 照 他 所 说 的 行 了 ； 因 为 你 们 得 罪 耶 和 华 ， 没 有 听 从 他 的 话 ， 所 以 这 事 临 到 你 们 。(CN) Иеремия 40:3 и навел его Господь и сделал то, что сказал; потому что вы согрешили пред Господом и не слушались гласа Его, за то и постигло вас это.(RU) (Arabic) ءﺎﻴﻣﺭﺃ 40:3 فجلب الرب وفعل كما تكلم لانكم قد اخطأتم الى الرب ولم تسمعوا لصوته فحدث لكم هذا الامر. यिर्मयाह 40:3 जैसा यहोवा ने कहा था वैसा ही उसने पूरा भी किया है। तुम लोगों ने जो यहोवा के विरुद्ध पाप किया और उसकी आज्ञा नहीं मानी, इस कारण तुम्हारी यह दशा हुई है। (IN) Jeremias 40:3 E o SENHOR trouxe e fez o que havia falado; porque pecastes contra o SENHOR, e não obedecestes a sua voz, por isso vos aconteceu isto.(PT) Jer 40:3 Now the Lord has brought it, and has done just as He said. Because you people have sinned against the Lord, and not obeyed His voice, therefore this thing has come upon you.(nkjv)
Jer 40:4 But now, behold, I am freeing you today from the chains which are on your hands. If you would prefer to come with me to Babylon, come along, and I will look after you; but if you would prefer not to come with me to Babylon, never mind. Look, the whole land is before you; go wherever it seems good and right for you to go."(nasb) Jérémie 40:4 Maintenant voici, je te délivre aujourd'hui des chaînes que tu as aux mains; si tu veux venir avec moi à Babylone, viens, j'aurai soin de toi; si cela te déplaît de venir avec moi à Babylone, ne viens pas; regarde, tout le pays est devant toi, va où il te semblera bon et convenable d'aller.(F) Jeremías 40:4 Y ahora yo te he soltado hoy de las esposas que tenías en tus manos. Si te parece bien venir conmigo a Babilonia, ven, y yo miraré por ti; mas si no te parece bien venir conmigo a Babilonia, déjalo; mira, toda la tierra está delante de ti; ve a donde mejor y más cómodo te pareciere ir.(rvg-E) 耶 利 米 書 40:4 现 在 我 解 开 你 手 上 的 炼 子 ， 你 若 看 与 我 同 往 巴 比 伦 去 好 ， 就 可 以 去 ， 我 必 厚 待 你 ； 你 若 看 与 我 同 往 巴 比 伦 去 不 好 ， 就 不 必 去 。 看 哪 ， 全 地 在 你 面 前 ， 你 以 为 哪 里 美 好 ， 哪 里 合 宜 ， 只 管 上 那 里 去 罢 ！(CN) Иеремия 40:4 Итак вот, я освобождаю тебя сегодня от цепей, которые на руках твоих: если тебе угодно идти со мною в Вавилон, иди, и я буду иметь попечение о тебе; а если не угодно тебе идти со мною в Вавилон, оставайся. Вот, вся земля перед тобою; куда тебе угодно, и куда нравится идти, туда и иди.(RU) (Arabic) ءﺎﻴﻣﺭﺃ 40:4 فالآن هانذا احلّك اليوم من القيود التي على يدك. فان حسن في عينيك ان تأتي معي الى بابل فتعال فاجعل عينيّ عليك. وان قبح في عينيك ان تاتي معي الى بابل فامتنع. انظر. كل الارض هي امامك فحيثما حسن وكان مستقيما في عينيك ان تنطلق فانطلق الى هناك. यिर्मयाह 40:4 अब मैं तेरी इन हथकड़ियों को काट देता हूँ, और यदि मेरे संग बाबेल में जाना तुझे अच्छा लगे तो चल, वहाँ मैं तुझ पर कृपादृष्टि रखूँगा; और यदि मेरे संग बाबेल जाना तुझे न भाए, तो यहीं रह जा। देख, सारा देश तेरे सामने पड़ा है, जिधर जाना तुझे अच्छा और ठीक लगे उधर ही चला जा।” (IN) Jeremias 40:4 E agora, eis que soltei hoje das cadeias que estavam sobre tuas mãos. Se [parece] bom aos teus olhos vir comigo à Babilônia, vem, e eu olharei por teu bem; mas se te [parece] mau aos teus olhos vir comigo a Babilônia, não o faça; olha, toda a terra está diante de ti; onde [te parecer] melhor e mais correto aos teus olhos ir, para ali vai.(PT) Jer 40:4 And now look, I free you this day from the chains that were on your hand. If it seems good to you to come with me to Babylon, come, and I will look after you. But if it seems wrong for you to come with me to Babylon, remain here. See, all the land is before you; wherever it seems good and convenient for you to go, go there."(nkjv)
Jer 40:5 As Jeremiah was still not going back, he said, "Go on back then to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has appointed over the cities of Judah, and stay with him among the people; or else go anywhere it seems right for you to go." So the captain of the bodyguard gave him a ration and a gift and let him go.(nasb) Jérémie 40:5 Et comme il tardait à répondre: Retourne, ajouta-t-il, vers Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, fils de Schaphan, que le roi de Babylone a établi sur les villes de Juda, et reste avec lui parmi le peuple; ou bien, va partout où il te conviendra d'aller. Le chef des gardes lui donna des vivres et des présents, et le congédia.(F) Jeremías 40:5 Y aún no se había vuelto él, cuando [le dijo]: Vuélvete a Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Safán, al cual el rey de Babilonia ha puesto sobre todas las ciudades de Judá, y vive con él en medio del pueblo; o ve a donde te pareciere más cómodo ir. Y el capitán de la guardia le dio provisiones y un presente, y le despidió.(rvg-E) 耶 利 米 書 40:5 耶 利 米 还 没 有 回 去 ， 护 卫 长 说 ： 你 可 以 回 到 沙 番 的 孙 子 亚 希 甘 的 儿 子 基 大 利 那 里 去 ； 现 在 巴 比 伦 王 立 他 作 犹 大 城 邑 的 省 长 。 你 可 以 在 他 那 里 住 在 民 中 ， 不 然 ， 你 看 哪 里 合 宜 就 可 以 上 那 里 去 。 於 是 护 卫 长 送 他 粮 食 和 礼 物 ， 释 放 他 去 了 。(CN) Иеремия 40:5 Когда он еще не отошел, сказал Навузардан : пойди к Годолии, сыну Ахикама, сына Сафанова, которого царь Вавилонский поставил начальником над городами Иудейскими, и оставайся с ним среди народа; или иди, куда нравится тебе идти. И дал ему начальник телохранителей продовольствие и подарок и отпустил его.(RU) (Arabic) ءﺎﻴﻣﺭﺃ 40:5 واذ كان لم يرجع بعد قال ارجع الى جدليا بن اخيقام بن شافان الذي اقامه ملك بابل على مدن يهوذا واقم عنده في وسط الشعب وانطلق الى حيث كان مستقيما في عينيك ان تنطلق. واعطاه رئيس الشرط زادا وهدية واطلقه. यिर्मयाह 40:5 वह वहीं था कि नबूजरदान ने फिर उससे कहा, “गदल्याह जो अहीकाम का पुत्र और शापान का पोता है, जिसको बाबेल के राजा ने यहूदा के नगरों पर अधिकारी ठहराया है, उसके पास लौट जा और उसके संग लोगों के बीच रह, या जहाँ कहीं तुझे जाना ठीक जान पड़े वहीं चला जा।” अतः अंगरक्षकों के प्रधान ने उसको भोजन-सामग्री और कुछ द्रव्य भी देकर विदा किया। (IN) Jeremias 40:5 Mas antes de [Jeremias] ter se virado, [o capitão lhe disse mais] : Volta para Gedalias filho de Aicã, filho de Safã, ao qual o rei da Babilônia pôs sobre todas as cidades de Judá, e habita com ele em meio do povo; ou vai aonde te [parecer] mais correto aos teus olhos ir. E deu-lhe alimento [para o caminho] , e um presente; e o despediu.(PT) Jer 40:5 Now while Jeremiah had not yet gone back, Nebuzaradan said, "Go back to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people. Or go wherever it seems convenient for you to go." So the captain of the guard gave him rations and a gift and let him go.(nkjv)
Jer 40:6 Then Jeremiah went to Mizpah to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam and stayed with him among the people who were left in the land.(nasb) Jérémie 40:6 Jérémie alla vers Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, à Mitspa, et il resta avec lui parmi le peuple qui était demeuré dans le pays.(F) Jeremías 40:6 Se fue entonces Jeremías a Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam, a Mizpa, y moró con él en medio del pueblo que había quedado en la tierra.(rvg-E) 耶 利 米 書 40:6 耶 利 米 就 到 米 斯 巴 见 亚 希 甘 的 儿 子 基 大 利 ， 在 他 那 里 住 在 境 内 剩 下 的 民 中 。(CN) Иеремия 40:6 И пришел Иеремия к Годолии, сыну Ахикама, в Массифу, и жил с ним среди народа, остававшегося в стране.(RU) (Arabic) ءﺎﻴﻣﺭﺃ 40:6 فجاء ارميا الى جدليا بن اخيقام الى المصفاة واقام عنده في وسط الشعب الباقين في الارض यिर्मयाह 40:6 तब यिर्मयाह अहीकाम के पुत्र गदल्याह के पास मिस्पा को गया, और वहाँ उन लोगों के बीच जो देश में रह गए थे, रहने लगा। (IN) Jeremias 40:6 Assim foi Jeremias a Gedalias filho de Aicã, a Mispá, e habitou com ele em meio do povo que tinha restado na terra.(PT) Jer 40:6 Then Jeremiah went to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, to Mizpah, and dwelt with him among the people who were left in the land.(nkjv)
Jer 40:7 Now all the commanders of the forces that were in the field, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam over the land and that he had put him in charge of the men, women and children, those of the poorest of the land who had not been exiled to Babylon.(nasb) Jérémie 40:7 Lorsque tous les chefs des troupes qui étaient dans les campagnes eurent appris, eux et leurs hommes, que le roi de Babylone avait établi gouverneur du pays Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, et qu'il lui avait confié les hommes, les femmes, les enfants, et ceux des pauvres du pays qu'on n'avait pas emmenés captifs à Babylone,(F) Jeremías 40:7 Y como oyeron todos los príncipes del ejército que estaba por el campo, ellos y sus hombres, que el rey de Babilonia había puesto a Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam, sobre la tierra, y que le había encomendado los hombres, y las mujeres, y los niños, y los pobres de la tierra, que no fueron llevados cautivos a Babilonia.(rvg-E) 耶 利 米 書 40:7 在 田 野 的 一 切 军 长 和 属 他 们 的 人 听 见 巴 比 伦 王 立 了 亚 希 甘 的 儿 子 基 大 利 作 境 内 的 省 长 ， 并 将 没 有 掳 到 巴 比 伦 的 男 人 、 妇 女 、 孩 童 ， 和 境 内 极 穷 的 人 全 交 给 他 。(CN) Иеремия 40:7 Когда все военачальники, бывшие в поле, они и люди их, услышали, что царь Вавилонский поставил Годолию, сына Ахикама, начальником над страною и поручил ему мужчин и женщин, и детей, и тех из бедных страны, которые не были переселены в Вавилон;(RU) (Arabic) ءﺎﻴﻣﺭﺃ 40:7 فلما سمع كل رؤساء الجيوش الذين في الحقل هم ورجالهم ان ملك بابل قد اقام جدليا بن اخيقام على الارض وانه وكله على الرجال والنساء والاطفال وعلى فقراء الارض الذين لم يسبوا الى بابل यिर्मयाह 40:7 ¶ योद्धाओं के जो दल दिहात में थे, जब उनके सब प्रधानों ने अपने जनों समेत सुना कि बाबेल के राजा ने अहीकाम के पुत्र गदल्याह को देश का अधिकारी ठहराया है, और देश के जिन कंगाल लोगों को वह बाबेल को नहीं ले गया, क्या पुरुष, क्या स्त्री, क्या बाल-बच्चे, उन सभी को उसे सौंप दिया है, (IN) Jeremias 40:7 E quando todos os príncipes do exércitos que estavam no campo, eles e seus homens, ouviram que o rei da Babilônia tinha posto a Gedalias filho de Aicã sobre a terra, e que tinha lhe encarregado dos homens, mulheres, e crianças, e os pobres da terra, os quais não foram levados em cativeiro à Babilônia,(PT) Jer 40:7 And when all the captains of the armies who were in the fields, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed to him men, women, children, and the poorest of the land who had not been carried away captive to Babylon,(nkjv)
Jer 40:8 So they came to Gedaliah at Mizpah, along with Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of the Maacathite, both they and their men.(nasb) Jérémie 40:8 ils se rendirent auprès de Guedalia à Mitspa, savoir Ismaël, fils de Nethania, Jochanan et Jonathan, fils de Karéach, Seraja, fils de Thanhumeth, les fils d'Ephaï de Nethopha, et Jezania, fils du Maacatite, eux et leurs hommes.(F) Jeremías 40:8 Vinieron luego a Gedalías en Mizpa, [esto es], Ismael, hijo de Netanías, y Johanán y Jonatán, hijos de Carea, y Seraías, hijo de Tanhumet, y los hijos de Efi netofatita, y Jezanías, hijo de un maacatita, ellos y sus hombres.(rvg-E) 耶 利 米 書 40:8 於 是 军 长 尼 探 雅 的 儿 子 以 实 玛 利 ， 加 利 亚 的 两 个 儿 子 约 哈 难 和 约 拿 单 ， 单 户 篾 的 儿 子 西 莱 雅 ， 并 尼 陀 法 人 以 斐 的 众 子 ， 玛 迦 人 的 儿 子 耶 撒 尼 亚 和 属 他 们 的 人 ， 都 到 米 斯 巴 见 基 大 利 。(CN) Иеремия 40:8 тогда пришли к Годолии в Массифу и Исмаил, сын Нафании, и Иоанани Ионафан, сыновья Карея, и Сераия, сын Фанасмефа, и сыновья Офи из Нетофафы, и Иезония, сын Махафы, они и дружина их.(RU) (Arabic) ءﺎﻴﻣﺭﺃ 40:8 أتى الى جدليا الى المصفاة اسماعيل بن نثنيا ويوحانان ويوناثان ابنا قاريح وسرايا بن تنحومث وبنو عيفاي النطوفاتي ويزنيا ابن المعكي هم ورجالهم. यिर्मयाह 40:8 तब नतन्याह का पुत्र इश्माएल, कारेह के पुत्र योहानान, योनातान और तन्हूमेत का पुत्र सरायाह, एपै नतोपावासी के पुत्र और किसी माकावासी का पुत्र याजन्याह अपने जनों समेत गदल्याह के पास मिस्पा में आए। (IN) Jeremias 40:8 Vieram, pois, a Gedalias em Mispá. Jer 40:9 Then Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, swore to them and to their men, saying, "Do not be afraid of serving the Chaldeans; stay in the land and serve the king of Babylon, that it may go well with you.(nasb) Jérémie 40:9 Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, fils de Schaphan, leur jura, à eux et à leurs hommes, en disant: Ne craignez pas de servir les Chaldéens; demeurez dans le pays, servez le roi de Babylone, et vous vous en trouverez bien.(F) Jeremías 40:9 Y les juró Gedalías, hijo de Ahicam, hijo de Safán, a ellos y a sus hombres, diciendo: No tengáis temor de servir a los caldeos; habitad en la tierra, y servid al rey de Babilonia, y tendréis bien.(rvg-E) 耶 利 米 書 40:9 沙 番 的 孙 子 亚 希 甘 的 儿 子 基 大 利 向 他 们 和 属 他 们 的 人 起 誓 说 ： 不 要 怕 服 事 迦 勒 底 人 ， 只 管 住 在 这 地 ， 服 事 巴 比 伦 王 ， 就 可 以 得 福 。(CN) Иеремия 40:9 Годолия, сын Ахикама, сына Сафанова, клялся им и людям их, говоря: не бойтесь служить Халдеям, оставайтесь на земле ислужите царю Вавилонскому, и будет вам хорошо;(RU) (Arabic) ءﺎﻴﻣﺭﺃ 40:9 فحلف لهم جدليا بن اخيقام بن شافان ولرجالهم قائلا لا تخافوا من ان تخدموا الكلدانيين. اسكنوا في الارض واخدموا ملك بابل فيحسن اليكم यिर्मयाह 40:9 गदल्याह जो अहीकाम का पुत्र और शापान का पोता था, उसने उनसे और उनके जनों से शपथ खाकर कहा, “कसदियों के अधीन रहने से मत डरो। इसी देश में रहते हुए बाबेल के राजा के अधीन रहो तब तुम्हारा भला होगा। (IN) Jeremias 40:9 E Gedalias filho de Aicã, filho de Safã, jurou a eles e a seus homens, dizendo: Não temais servir aos caldeus; habitai na terra, e servi ao rei da Babilônia, e tereis bem.(PT) Jer 40:9 And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, took an oath before them and their men, saying, "Do not be afraid to serve the Chaldeans. Dwell in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.(nkjv)

Jer 40:14 and said to him, "Are you well aware that Baalis the king of the sons of Ammon has sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to take your life?" But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam did not believe them.(nasb) Jérémie 40:14 et lui dirent: Sais-tu que Baalis, roi des Ammonites, a chargé Ismaël, fils de Nethania, de t'ôter la vie? Jer 40:15 Then Johanan the son of Kareah spoke secretly to Gedaliah in Mizpah, saying, "Let me go and kill Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and not a man will know! Why should he take your life, so that all the Jews who are gathered to you would be scattered and the remnant of Judah would perish?"(nasb) Jérémie 40:15 Et Jochanan, fils de Karéach, dit secrètement à Guedalia à Mitspa: Permets que j'aille tuer Ismaël, fils de Nethania. Personne ne le saura. Jer 41:1 In the seventh month Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the royal family and one of the chief officers of the king, along with ten men, came to Mizpah to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam. While they were eating bread together there in Mizpah,(nasb) Jérémie 41:1 Au septième mois, Ismaël, fils de Nethania, fils d'Elischama, de la race royale, vint avec des grands du roi et dix hommes auprès de Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, à Mitspa.
