Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 10:1 ============ Isa 10:1 Woe to those who enact evil statutes And to those who constantly record unjust decisions, (nasb) Isa 10:1 "Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, Who write misfortune, Which they have prescribed (nkjv) Isa 10:1 Weh den Schriftgelehrten, die ungerechte Gesetze machen und die unrechtes Urteil schreiben,(dhs) Isa 10:1 οὐαὶ τοῖς γράφουσιν πονηρίαν γράφοντες γὰρ πονηρίαν γράφουσιν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:2 ============ Isa 10:2 So as to deprive the needy of justice And rob the poor of My people of their rights, So that widows may be their spoil And that they may plunder the orphans. (nasb) Isa 10:2 To rob the needy of justice, And to take what is right from the poor of My people, That widows may be their prey, And that they may rob the fatherless. (nkjv) Isa 10:2 auf daß sie die Sache der Armen beugen und Gewalt üben am Recht der Elenden unter meinem Volk, daß die Witwen ihr Raub und die Waisen ihre Beute sein müssen!(dhs) Isa 10:2 ἐκκλίνοντες κρίσιν πτωχῶν ἁρπάζοντες κρίμα πενήτων τοῦ λαοῦ μου ὥστε εἶναι αὐτοῖς χήραν εἰς ἁρπαγὴν καὶ ὀρφανὸν εἰς προνομήν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:3 ============ Isa 10:3 Now what will you do in the day of punishment, And in the devastation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your wealth? (nasb) Isa 10:3 What will you do in the day of punishment, And in the desolation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory? (nkjv) Isa 10:3 Was wollt ihr tun am Tage der Heimsuchung und des Unglücks, das von fern kommt? Zu wem wollt ihr fliehen um Hilfe? Und wo wollt ihr eure Ehre lassen,(dhs) Isa 10:3 καὶ τί ποιήσουσιν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῆς ἐπισκοπῆς ἡ γὰρ θλῖψις ὑμῖν πόρρωθεν ἥξει καὶ πρὸς τίνα καταφεύξεσθε τοῦ βοηθηθῆναι καὶ ποῦ καταλείψετε τὴν δόξαν ὑμῶν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:4 ============ Isa 10:4 Nothing remains but to crouch among the captives Or fall among the slain. In spite of all this, His anger does not turn away And His hand is still stretched out. (nasb) Isa 10:4 Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners, And they shall fall among the slain." For all this His anger is not turned away, But His hand is stretched out still. (nkjv) Isa 10:4 daß sie nicht unter die Gefangenen gebeugt werde und unter die Erschlagenen falle? In dem allem läßt sein Zorn nicht ab, seine Hand ist noch ausgereckt.(dhs) Isa 10:4 τοῦ μὴ ἐμπεσεῖν εἰς ἐπαγωγήν ἐπὶ πᾶσι τούτοις οὐκ ἀπεστράφη ὁ θυμός ἀλλ᾽ ἔτι ἡ χεὶρ ὑψηλή (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:5 ============ Isa 10:5 Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hands is My indignation, (nasb) Isa 10:5 "Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger And the staff in whose hand is My indignation. (nkjv) Isa 10:5 O weh Assur, der meines Zornes Rute und in dessen Hand meines Grimmes Stecken ist!(dhs) Isa 10:5 οὐαὶ Ἀσσυρίοις ἡ ῥάβδος τοῦ θυμοῦ μου καὶ ὀργῆς ἐστιν ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:6 ============ Isa 10:6 I send it against a godless nation And commission it against the people of My fury To capture booty and to seize plunder, And to trample them down like mud in the streets. (nasb) Isa 10:6 I will send him against an ungodly nation, And against the people of My wrath I will give him charge, To seize the spoil, to take the prey, And to tread them down like the mire of the streets. (nkjv) Isa 10:6 Ich will ihn senden gegen ein Heuchelvolk und ihm Befehl tun gegen das Volk meines Zorns, daß er's beraube und austeile und zertrete es wie Kot auf der Gasse,(dhs) Isa 10:6 τὴν ὀργήν μου εἰς ἔθνος ἄνομον ἀποστελῶ καὶ τῷ ἐμῷ λαῷ συντάξω ποιῆσαι σκῦλα καὶ προνομὴν καὶ καταπατεῖν τὰς πόλεις καὶ θεῖναι αὐτὰς εἰς κονιορτόν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:7 ============ Isa 10:7 Yet it does not so intend, Nor does it plan so in its heart, But rather it is its purpose to destroy And to cut off many nations. (nasb) Isa 10:7 Yet he does not mean so, Nor does his heart think so; But it is in his heart to destroy, And cut off not a few nations. (nkjv) Isa 10:7 wiewohl er's nicht so meint und sein Herz nicht so denkt; sondern sein Herz steht, zu vertilgen und auszurotten nicht wenig Völker.(dhs) Isa 10:7 αὐτὸς δὲ οὐχ οὕτως ἐνεθυμήθη καὶ τῇ ψυχῇ οὐχ οὕτως λελόγισται ἀλλὰ ἀπαλλάξει ὁ νοῦς αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῦ ἔθνη ἐξολεθρεῦσαι οὐκ ὀλίγα (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:8 ============ Isa 10:8 For it says, "Are not my princes all kings? (nasb) Isa 10:8 For he says, 'Are not my princes altogether kings? (nkjv) Isa 10:8 Denn er spricht: Sind meine Fürsten nicht allzumal Könige?(dhs) Isa 10:8 καὶ ἐὰν εἴπωσιν αὐτῷ σὺ μόνος εἶ ἄρχων (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:9 ============ Isa 10:9 "Is not Calno like Carchemish, Or Hamath like Arpad, Or Samaria like Damascus? (nasb) Isa 10:9 Is not Calno like Carchemish? Is not Hamath like Arpad? Is not Samaria like Damascus? (nkjv) Isa 10:9 Ist Kalno nicht wie Karchemis? ist Hamath nicht wie Arpad? ist nicht Samaria wie Damaskus?(dhs) Isa 10:9 καὶ ἐρεῖ οὐκ ἔλαβον τὴν χώραν τὴν ἐπάνω Βαβυλῶνος καὶ Χαλαννη οὗ ὁ πύργος ᾠκοδομήθη καὶ ἔλαβον Ἀραβίαν καὶ Δαμασκὸν καὶ Σαμάρειαν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:10 ============ Isa 10:10 "As my hand has reached to the kingdoms of the idols, Whose graven images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria, (nasb) Isa 10:10 As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, Whose carved images excelled those of Jerusalem and Samaria, (nkjv) Isa 10:10 Wie meine Hand gefunden hat die Königreiche der Götzen, so doch ihre Götzen stärker waren, denn die zu Jerusalem und Samaria sind:(dhs) Isa 10:10 ὃν τρόπον ταύτας ἔλαβον ἐν τῇ χειρί μου καὶ πάσας τὰς ἀρχὰς λήμψομαι ὀλολύξατε τὰ γλυπτὰ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐν Σαμαρείᾳ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:11 ============ Isa 10:11 Shall I not do to Jerusalem and her images Just as I have done to Samaria and her idols?" (nasb) Isa 10:11 As I have done to Samaria and her idols, Shall I not do also to Jerusalem and her idols?' " (nkjv) Isa 10:11 sollte ich nicht Jerusalem tun und ihren Götzen, wie ich Samaria und ihren Götzen getan habe?(dhs) Isa 10:11 ὃν τρόπον γὰρ ἐποίησα Σαμαρείᾳ καὶ τοῖς χειροποιήτοις αὐτῆς οὕτως ποιήσω καὶ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τοῖς εἰδώλοις αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:12 ============ Isa 10:12 So it will be that when the Lord has completed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, He will say, "I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and the pomp of his haughtiness." (nasb) Isa 10:12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, "I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks." (nkjv) Isa 10:12 Wenn aber der HERR all sein Werk ausgerichtet hat auf dem Berge Zion und zu Jerusalem, will ich heimsuchen die Frucht des Hochmuts des Königs von Assyrien und die Pracht seiner Hoffärtigen Augen,(dhs) Isa 10:12 καὶ ἔσται ὅταν συντελέσῃ κύριος πάντα ποιῶν ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σιων καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἐπάξει ἐπὶ τὸν νοῦν τὸν μέγαν τὸν ἄρχοντα τῶν Ἀσσυρίων καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ ὕψος τῆς δόξης τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:13 ============ Isa 10:13 For he has said, "By the power of my hand and by my wisdom I did this, For I have understanding; And I removed the boundaries of the peoples And plundered their treasures, And like a mighty man I brought down their inhabitants, (nasb) Isa 10:13 For he says: "By the strength of my hand I have done it, And by my wisdom, for I am prudent; Also I have removed the boundaries of the people, And have robbed their treasuries; So I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man. (nkjv) Isa 10:13 darum daß er spricht: Ich habe es durch meiner Hände Kraft ausgerichtet und durch meine Weisheit, denn ich bin klug; ich habe die Länder anders geteilt und ihr Einkommen geraubt und wie ein Mächtiger die Einwohner zu Boden geworfen,(dhs) Isa 10:13 εἶπεν γάρ τῇ ἰσχύι ποιήσω καὶ τῇ σοφίᾳ τῆς συνέσεως ἀφελῶ ὅρια ἐθνῶν καὶ τὴν ἰσχὺν αὐτῶν προνομεύσω καὶ σείσω πόλεις κατοικουμένας (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:14 ============ Isa 10:14 And my hand reached to the riches of the peoples like a nest, And as one gathers abandoned eggs, I gathered all the earth; And there was not one that flapped its wing or opened its beak or chirped." (nasb) Isa 10:14 My hand has found like a nest the riches of the people, And as one gathers eggs that are left, I have gathered all the earth; And there was no one who moved his wing, Nor opened his mouth with even a peep." (nkjv) Isa 10:14 und meine Hand hat gefunden die Völker wie ein Vogelnest, daß ich habe alle Lande zusammengerafft, wie man Eier aufrafft, die verlassen sind, da keines eine Feder regt oder den Schnabel aufsperrt oder zischt.(dhs) Isa 10:14 καὶ τὴν οἰκουμένην ὅλην καταλήμψομαι τῇ χειρὶ ὡς νοσσιὰν καὶ ὡς καταλελειμμένα ᾠὰ ἀρῶ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ὃς διαφεύξεταί με ἢ ἀντείπῃ μοι (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:15 ============ Isa 10:15 Is the axe to boast itself over the one who chops with it? Is the saw to exalt itself over the one who wields it? That would be like a club wielding those who lift it, Or like a rod lifting him who is not wood. (nasb) Isa 10:15 Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it? Or shall the saw exalt itself against him who saws with it? As if a rod could wield itself against those who lift it up, Or as if a staff could lift up, as if it were not wood! (nkjv) Isa 10:15 Mag sich auch eine Axt rühmen gegen den, der damit haut? oder eine Säge trotzen gegen den, der sie zieht? Als ob die Rute schwänge den der sie hebt; als ob der Stecken höbe den, der kein Holz ist!(dhs) Isa 10:15 μὴ δοξασθήσεται ἀξίνη ἄνευ τοῦ κόπτοντος ἐν αὐτῇ ἢ ὑψωθήσεται πρίων ἄνευ τοῦ ἕλκοντος αὐτόν ὡσαύτως ἐάν τις ἄρῃ ῥάβδον ἢ ξύλον (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:16 ============ Isa 10:16 Therefore the Lord, the God of hosts, will send a wasting disease among his stout warriors; And under his glory a fire will be kindled like a burning flame. (nasb) Isa 10:16 Therefore the Lord, the Lord of hosts, Will send leanness among his fat ones; And under his glory He will kindle a burning Like the burning of a fire. (nkjv) Isa 10:16 Darum wird der HERR HERR Zebaoth unter die Fetten Assurs die Darre senden, und seine Herrlichkeit wird er anzünden, daß sie brennen wird wie ein Feuer.(dhs) Isa 10:16 καὶ οὐχ οὕτως ἀλλὰ ἀποστελεῖ κύριος σαβαωθ εἰς τὴν σὴν τιμὴν ἀτιμίαν καὶ εἰς τὴν σὴν δόξαν πῦρ καιόμενον καυθήσεται (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:17 ============ Isa 10:17 And the light of Israel will become a fire and his Holy One a flame, And it will burn and devour his thorns and his briars in a single day. (nasb) Isa 10:17 So the Light of Israel will be for a fire, And his Holy One for a flame; It will burn and devour His thorns and his briers in one day. (nkjv) Isa 10:17 Und das Licht Israels wird ein Feuer sein, und sein Heiliger wird eine Flamme sein, und sie wird seine Dornen und Hecken anzünden und verzehren auf einen Tag.(dhs) Isa 10:17 καὶ ἔσται τὸ φῶς τοῦ Ισραηλ εἰς πῦρ καὶ ἁγιάσει αὐτὸν ἐν πυρὶ καιομένῳ καὶ φάγεται ὡσεὶ χόρτον τὴν ὕλην τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:18 ============ Isa 10:18 And He will destroy the glory of his forest and of his fruitful garden, both soul and body, And it will be as when a sick man wastes away. (nasb) Isa 10:18 And it will consume the glory of his forest and of his fruitful field, Both soul and body; And they will be as when a sick man wastes away. (nkjv) Isa 10:18 Und die Herrlichkeit seines Waldes und seines Baumgartens soll zunichte werden, von den Seelen bis aufs Fleisch, und wird zergehen und verschwinden,(dhs) Isa 10:18 ἀποσβεσθήσεται τὰ ὄρη καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ καὶ οἱ δρυμοί καὶ καταφάγεται ἀπὸ ψυχῆς ἕως σαρκῶν καὶ ἔσται ὁ φεύγων ὡς ὁ φεύγων ἀπὸ φλογὸς καιομένης (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:19 ============ Isa 10:19 And the rest of the trees of his forest will be so small in number That a child could write them down. (nasb) Isa 10:19 Then the rest of the trees of his forest Will be so few in number That a child may write them. (nkjv) Isa 10:19 daß die übrigen Bäume seines Waldes können gezählt werden und ein Knabe sie kann aufschreiben.(dhs) Isa 10:19 καὶ οἱ καταλειφθέντες ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν ἔσονται ἀριθμός καὶ παιδίον γράψει αὐτούς (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:20 ============ Isa 10:20 Now in that day the remnant of Israel, and those of the house of Jacob who have escaped, will never again rely on the one who struck them, but will truly rely on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. (nasb) Isa 10:20 And it shall come to pass in that day That the remnant of Israel, And such as have escaped of the house of Jacob, Will never again depend on him who defeated them, But will depend on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. (nkjv) Isa 10:20 Zu der Zeit werden die Übriggebliebenen in Israel und die errettet werden im Hause Jakob, sich nicht mehr verlassen auf den, der sie schlägt; sondern sie werden sich verlassen auf den HERRN, den Heiligen in Israel, in der Wahrheit.(dhs) Isa 10:20 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ οὐκέτι προστεθήσεται τὸ καταλειφθὲν Ισραηλ καὶ οἱ σωθέντες τοῦ Ιακωβ οὐκέτι μὴ πεποιθότες ὦσιν ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀδικήσαντας αὐτούς ἀλλὰ ἔσονται πεποιθότες ἐπὶ τὸν θεὸν τὸν ἅγιον τοῦ Ισραηλ τῇ ἀληθείᾳ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:21 ============ Isa 10:21 A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God. (nkjv) Isa 10:21 Die Übriggebliebenen werden sich bekehren, ja, die Übriggebliebenen in Jakob, zu Gott, dem Starken.(dhs) Isa 10:21 καὶ ἔσται τὸ καταλειφθὲν τοῦ Ιακωβ ἐπὶ θεὸν ἰσχύοντα (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:22 ============ Isa 10:22 For though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea, Only a remnant within them will return; A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness. (nasb) Isa 10:22 For though your people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, A remnant of them will return; The destruction decreed shall overflow with righteousness. (nkjv) Isa 10:22 Denn ob dein Volk, o Israel, ist wie Sand am Meer, sollen doch nur seine Übriggebliebenen bekehrt werden. Denn Verderben ist beschlossen; und die Gerechtigkeit kommt überschwenglich.(dhs) Isa 10:22 καὶ ἐὰν γένηται ὁ λαὸς Ισραηλ ὡς ἡ ἄμμος τῆς θαλάσσης τὸ κατάλειμμα αὐτῶν σωθήσεται λόγον γὰρ συντελῶν καὶ συντέμνων ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:23 ============ Isa 10:23 For a complete destruction, one that is decreed, the Lord God of hosts will execute in the midst of the whole land. (nasb) Isa 10:23 For the Lord God of hosts Will make a determined end In the midst of all the land. (nkjv) Isa 10:23 Denn der HERR HERR Zebaoth wird ein Verderben gehen lassen, wie beschlossen ist, im ganzen Lande.(dhs) Isa 10:23 ὅτι λόγον συντετμημένον ποιήσει ὁ θεὸς ἐν τῇ οἰκουμένῃ ὅλῃ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:24 ============ Isa 10:24 Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts, "O My people who dwell in Zion, do not fear the Assyrian who strikes you with the rod and lifts up his staff against you, the way Egypt did. (nasb) Isa 10:24 Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts: "O My people, who dwell in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian. He shall strike you with a rod and lift up his staff against you, in the manner of Egypt. (nkjv) Isa 10:24 Darum spricht der HERR HERR Zebaoth: Fürchte dich nicht, mein Volk, das zu Zion wohnt, vor Assur. Er wird dich mit einem Stecken schlagen und seinen Stab wider dich aufheben, wie in Ägypten geschah.(dhs) Isa 10:24 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος σαβαωθ μὴ φοβοῦ ὁ λαός μου οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν Σιων ἀπὸ Ἀσσυρίων ὅτι ἐν ῥάβδῳ πατάξει σε πληγὴν γὰρ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ σὲ τοῦ ἰδεῖν ὁδὸν Αἰγύπτου (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:25 ============ Isa 10:25 For in a very little while My indignation against you will be spent and My anger will be directed to their destruction." (nasb) Isa 10:25 For yet a very little while and the indignation will cease, as will My anger in their destruction." (nkjv) Isa 10:25 Denn es ist noch gar um ein kleines zu tun, so wird die Ungnade und mein Zorn über ihre Untugend ein Ende haben.(dhs) Isa 10:25 ἔτι γὰρ μικρὸν καὶ παύσεται ἡ ὀργή ὁ δὲ θυμός μου ἐπὶ τὴν βουλὴν αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:26 ============ Isa 10:26 The Lord of hosts will arouse a scourge against him like the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb; and His staff will be over the sea and He will lift it up the way He did in Egypt. (nasb) Isa 10:26 And the Lord of hosts will stir up a scourge for him like the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb; as His rod was on the sea, so will He lift it up in the manner of Egypt. (nkjv) Isa 10:26 Alsdann wird der HERR Zebaoth eine Geißel über ihn erwecken wie in der Schlacht Midians auf dem Fels Oreb und wird seinen Stab, den er am Meer brauchte, aufheben wie in Ägypten.(dhs) Isa 10:26 καὶ ἐπεγερεῖ ὁ θεὸς ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς κατὰ τὴν πληγὴν τὴν Μαδιαμ ἐν τόπῳ θλίψεως καὶ ὁ θυμὸς αὐτοῦ τῇ ὁδῷ τῇ κατὰ θάλασσαν εἰς τὴν ὁδὸν τὴν κατ᾽ Αἴγυπτον (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:27 ============ Isa 10:27 So it will be in that day, that his burden will be removed from your shoulders and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be broken because of fatness. (nasb) Isa 10:27 It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. (nkjv) Isa 10:27 Zu der Zeit wird seine Last von deiner Schulter weichen müssen und sein Joch von deinem Halse; denn das Joch wird bersten vor dem Fett.(dhs) Isa 10:27 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀφαιρεθήσεται ὁ φόβος αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ σοῦ καὶ ὁ ζυγὸς αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὤμου σου καὶ καταφθαρήσεται ὁ ζυγὸς ἀπὸ τῶν ὤμων ὑμῶν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:28 ============ Isa 10:28 He has come against Aiath, He has passed through Migron; At Michmash he deposited his baggage. (nasb) Isa 10:28 He has come to Aiath, He has passed Migron; At Michmash he has attended to his equipment. (nkjv) Isa 10:28 Er kommt gen Ajath; er zieht durch Migron; er mustert sein Gerät zu Michmas.(dhs) Isa 10:28 ἥξει γὰρ εἰς τὴν πόλιν Αγγαι καὶ παρελεύσεται εἰς Μαγεδω καὶ ἐν Μαχμας θήσει τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:29 ============ Isa 10:29 They have gone through the pass, saying, "Geba will be our lodging place." Ramah is terrified, and Gibeah of Saul has fled away. (nasb) Isa 10:29 They have gone along the ridge, They have taken up lodging at Geba. Ramah is afraid, Gibeah of Saul has fled. (nkjv) Isa 10:29 Sie ziehen durch den engen Weg, bleiben in Geba über Nacht. Rama erschrickt; Gibea Sauls flieht.(dhs) Isa 10:29 καὶ παρελεύσεται φάραγγα καὶ ἥξει εἰς Αγγαι φόβος λήμψεται Ραμα πόλιν Σαουλ φεύξεται (lxx) ======= Isaiah 10:30 ============ Isa 10:30 Cry aloud with your voice, O daughter of Gallim! Pay attention, Laishah and wretched Anathoth! (nasb) Isa 10:30 Lift up your voice, O daughter of Gallim! Cause it to be heard as far as Laish-- O poor Anathoth!
