How long will you love worthlessness And seek falsehood? Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 4:5 ============ Psa 4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And trust in the Lord.(nasb-1995) Psa 4:5 ὀργίζεσθε καὶ μὴ ἁμαρτάνετε λέγετε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς κοίταις ὑμῶν κατανύγητε διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 4:5 Sacrificate sacrificium justitiæ, et sperate in Domino. Aber, HERR, erhebe über uns das Licht deines Antlitzes!(dhs) 7 ׃4 רַבִּ֥ים אֹמְרִים֮ מִֽי־יַרְאֵ֢נ֫וּ ט֥וֹב נְֽסָה־עָ֭לֵינוּ א֨וֹר פָּנֶ֬יךָ יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 4:6 There are many who say, "Who will show us any good?" Lord, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 4:7 ============ Psa 4:7 You have put gladness in my heart, More than when their grain and new wine abound.(nasb-1995) Psa 4:7 πολλοὶ λέγουσιν τίς δείξει ἡμῖν τὰ ἀγαθά ἐσημειώθη ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς τὸ φῶς τοῦ προσώπου σου κύριε (lxx) Psa 4:7 A fructu frumenti, vini, et olei sui, multiplicati sunt.(Vulgate) Psa 4:7 Du erfreuest mein Herz, ob jene gleich viel Wein und Korn haben.(dhs) 8 ׃4 נָתַ֣תָּה שִׂמְחָ֣ה בְלִבִּ֑י מֵעֵ֬ת דְּגָנָ֖ם וְתִֽירוֹשָׁ֣ם רָֽבּוּ׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 4:7 You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 4:8 ============ Psa 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety.
