Virum sanguinum et dolosum abominabitur Dominus.(Vulgate) Psa 5:6 Du bringst die Lügner um; der HERR hat Greuel an den Blutgierigen und Falschen.(dhs) 7 ׃5 תְּאַבֵּד֮ דֹּבְרֵ֢י כָ֫זָ֥ב אִישׁ־דָּמִ֥ים וּמִרְמָ֗ה יְתָ֘עֵ֥ב ׀ יְהוָֽה׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 5:6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:7 ============ Psa 5:7 But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.(nasb-1995) Psa 5:7 ἀπολεῖς πάντας τοὺς λαλοῦντας τὸ ψεῦδος ἄνδρα αἱμάτων καὶ δόλιον βδελύσσεται κύριος (lxx) Psa 5:7 Ego autem in multitudine misericordiæ tuæ introibo in domum tuam; adorabo ad templum sanctum tuum in timore tuo.(Vulgate) Psa 5:7 Ich aber will in dein Haus gehen auf deine große Güte und anbeten gegen deinen heiligen Tempel in deiner Furcht.(dhs) 8 ׃5 וַאֲנִ֗י בְּרֹ֣ב חַ֭סְדְּךָ אָב֣וֹא בֵיתֶ֑ךָ אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֥ה אֶל־הֽ͏ֵיכַל־קָ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ בְּיִרְאָתֶֽךָ׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 5:7 But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:8 ============ Psa 5:8 O Lord, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me.(nasb-1995) Psa 5:8 ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν τῷ πλήθει τοῦ ἐλέους σου εἰσελεύσομαι εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου προσκυνήσω πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου ἐν φόβῳ σου (lxx) Psa 5:8 Domine, deduc me in justitia tua: propter inimicos meos dirige in conspectu tuo viam meam.(Vulgate) Psa 5:8 HERR, leite mich in deiner Gerechtigkeit um meiner Feinde willen; richte deinen Weg vor mir her.(dhs) 9 ׃5 יְהוָ֤ה ׀ נְחֵ֬נִי בְצִדְקָתֶ֗ךָ לְמַ֥עַן שׁוֹרְרָ֑י *הושר **הַיְשַׁ֖ר לְפָנַ֣י דַּרְכֶּֽךָ׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 5:8 Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; Make Your way straight before my face.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:9 ============ Psa 5:9 There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself. Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.(nasb-1995) Psa 5:9 κύριε ὁδήγησόν με ἐν τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου ἕνεκα τῶν ἐχθρῶν μου κατεύθυνον ἐνώπιόν μου τὴν ὁδόν σου (lxx) Psa 5:9 Quoniam non est in ore eorum veritas; cor eorum vanum est. Sepulchrum patens est guttur eorum; linguis suis dolose agebant:(Vulgate) Psa 5:9 Denn in ihrem Munde ist nichts Gewisses; ihr Inwendiges ist Herzeleid. Ihr Rachen ist ein offenes Grab; denn mit ihren Zungen heucheln sie.(dhs) 10 ׃5 כִּ֤י אֵ֪ין בְּפִ֡יהוּ נְכוֹנָה֮ קִרְבָּ֢ם הַ֫וּ֥וֹת קֶֽבֶר־פָּת֥וּחַ גְּרוֹנָ֑ם לְ֝שׁוֹנָ֗ם יַחֲלִֽיקוּן׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; Their inward part is destruction; Their throat is an open tomb; They flatter with their tongue.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:10 ============ Psa 5:10 Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You.(nasb-1995) Psa 5:10 ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν ἀλήθεια ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ματαία τάφος ἀνεῳγμένος ὁ λάρυγξ αὐτῶν ταῖς γλώσσαις αὐτῶν ἐδολιοῦσαν (lxx) Psa 5:10 judica illos, Deus. Decidant a cogitationibus suis; secundum multitudinem impietatum eorum expelle eos, quoniam irritaverunt te, Domine.(Vulgate) Psa 5:10 Sprich sie schuldig, Gott, daß sie fallen von ihrem Vornehmen. Stoße sie aus um ihrer großen Übertretungen willen; denn sie sind widerspenstig.(dhs) 11 ׃5 הַֽאֲשִׁימֵ֨ם ׀ אֱֽלֹהִ֗ים יִפְּלוּ֮ מִֽמֹּעֲצ֢וֹתֵ֫יהֶ֥ם בְּרֹ֣ב פִּ֭שְׁעֵיהֶם הַדִּיחֵ֑מוֹ כִּי־מָ֥רוּ בָֽךְ׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 5:10 Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, For they have rebelled against You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:11 ============ Psa 5:11 But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.(nasb-1995) Psa 5:11 κρῖνον αὐτούς ὁ θεός ἀποπεσάτωσαν ἀπὸ τῶν διαβουλίων αὐτῶν κατὰ τὸ πλῆθος τῶν ἀσεβειῶν αὐτῶν ἔξωσον αὐτούς ὅτι παρεπίκρανάν σε κύριε (lxx) Psa 5:11 Et lætentur omnes qui sperant in te; in æternum exsultabunt, et habitabis in eis. Et gloriabuntur in te omnes qui diligunt nomen tuum,(Vulgate) Psa 5:11 Laß sich freuen alle, die auf dich trauen; ewiglich laß sie rühmen, denn du beschirmst sie; fröhlich laß sein in dir, die deinen Namen lieben.(dhs) 12 ׃5 וְיִשְׂמְח֨וּ כָל־ח֪וֹסֵי בָ֡ךְ לְעוֹלָ֣ם יְ֭רַנֵּנוּ וְתָסֵ֣ךְ עָלֵ֑ימוֹ וְֽיַעְלְצ֥וּ בְ֝ךָ֗ אֹהֲבֵ֥י שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ Psalms-(Hebrew) Psa 5:11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 5:12 ============ Psa 5:12 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield.
