Voici, c'était une corbeille de fruits.(F) Amo 8:1 Der HERR HERR zeigte mir ein Gesicht, und siehe, da stand ein Korb mit reifem Obst.(D) Amo 8:1 οὕτως ἔδειξέν μοι κύριος καὶ ἰδοὺ ἄγγος ἰξευτοῦ(lxx) Amo 8:1 Thus the Lord God showed me: Behold, a basket of summer fruit.(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:2 ============ Amo 8:2 He said, "What do you see, Amos?" And I said, "A basket of summer fruit." Then the Lord said to me, "The end has come for My people Israel. I will spare them no longer.(nasb) Amo 8:2 Et dixit: Quid tu vides, Amos? Et dixi: Uncinum pomorum. Et dixit Dominus ad me: [Venit finis super populum meum Israël; non adjiciam ultra ut pertranseam eum.(vulgate) Amós 8:2 Y dijo: ¿Qué ves, Amós? Y dije: Un canastillo de fruta de verano. Y me dijo Jehová: Ha venido el fin sobre mi pueblo Israel; no le pasaré más.(E) Amos 8:2 Il dit: Que vois-tu, Amos? Je répondis: Une corbeille de fruits. Et l'Eternel me dit: La fin est venue pour mon peuple d'Israël; Je ne lui pardonnerai plus.(F) Amo 8:2 Und er sprach: Was siehst du, Amo Ich aber antwortete: Einen Korb mit reifem Obst. Da sprach der HERR zu mir: Das Ende ist gekommen über mein Volk Israel; ich will ihm nichts mehr übersehen.(D) Amo 8:2 καὶ εἶπεν τί σὺ βλέπεις Αμως καὶ εἶπα ἄγγος ἰξευτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἥκει τὸ πέρας ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν μου Ισραηλ οὐκέτι μὴ προσθῶ τοῦ παρελθεῖν αὐτόν(lxx) Amo 8:2 And He said, "Amos, what do you see?" So I said, "A basket of summer fruit." Then the Lord said to me: "The end has come upon My people Israel; I will not pass by them anymore.(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:3 ============ Amo 8:3 The songs of the palace will turn to wailing in that day," declares the Lord God. "Many will be the corpses; in every place they will cast them forth in silence."(nasb) Amo 8:3 Et stridebunt cardines templi in die illa, dicit Dominus Deus: multi morientur; in omni loco projicietur silentium.]~(vulgate) Amós 8:3 Y los cantores del templo aullarán en aquel día, dice Jehová el Señor; muchos [serán] los cuerpos muertos; en todo lugar serán echados en silencio.(E) Amos 8:3 En ce jour-là, les chants du palais seront des gémissements, Dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel; On jettera partout en silence une multitude de cadavres.(F) Amo 8:3 Und die Lieder in dem Palaste sollen in ein Heulen verkehrt werden zur selben Zeit, spricht der HERR HERR; es werden viele Leichname liegen an allen Orten, die man in der Stille hinwerfen wird.(D) Amo 8:3 καὶ ὀλολύξει τὰ φατνώματα τοῦ ναοῦ ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ λέγει κύριος πολὺς ὁ πεπτωκὼς ἐν παντὶ τόπῳ ἐπιρρίψω σιωπήν(lxx) Amo 8:3 And the songs of the temple Shall be wailing in that day," Says the Lord God-- "Many dead bodies everywhere, They shall be thrown out in silence."(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:4 ============ Amo 8:4 Hear this, you who trample the needy, to do away with the humble of the land,(nasb) Amo 8:4 [Audite hoc, qui conteritis pauperem, et deficere facitis egenos terræ,(vulgate) Amós 8:4 Oíd esto, los que devoráis a los menesterosos, y arruináis a los pobres de la tierra,(E) Amos 8:4 Ecoutez ceci, vous qui dévorez l'indigent, Et qui ruinez les malheureux du pays!(F) Amo 8:4 Hört dies, die ihr den Armen unterdrückt und die Elenden im Lande verderbt(D) Amo 8:4 ἀκούσατε δὴ ταῦτα οἱ ἐκτρίβοντες εἰς τὸ πρωὶ πένητα καὶ καταδυναστεύοντες πτωχοὺς ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς(lxx) Amo 8:4 Hear this, you who swallow up the needy, And make the poor of the land fail,(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:5 ============ Amo 8:5 saying, "When will the new moon be over, So that we may sell grain, And the sabbath, that we may open the wheat market, To make the bushel smaller and the shekel bigger, And to cheat with dishonest scales,(nasb) Amo 8:5 dicentes: Quando transibit mensis, et venundabimus merces? et sabbatum, et aperiemus frumentum, ut imminuamus mensuram, et augeamus siclum, et supponamus stateras dolosas,(vulgate) Amós 8:5 diciendo: ¿Cuándo pasará la luna nueva, para que vendamos el grano; y el sábado, para que abramos los alfolíes del trigo, para que achiquemos la medida, y aumentemos el precio, y falseemos con engaño la balanza;(E) Amos 8:5 Vous dites: Quand la nouvelle lune sera-t-elle passée, Afin que nous vendions du blé? Quand finira le sabbat, afin que nous ouvrions les greniers? Nous diminuerons l'épha, nous augmenterons le prix, Nous falsifierons les balances pour tromper;(F) Amo 8:5 und sprecht: "Wann will denn der Neumond ein Ende haben, daß wir Getreide verkaufen, und der Sabbat, daß wir Korn feilhaben mögen und das Maß verringern und den Preis steigern und die Waage fälschen,(D) Amo 8:5 οἱ λέγοντες πότε διελεύσεται ὁ μὴν καὶ ἐμπολήσομεν καὶ τὰ σάββατα καὶ ἀνοίξομεν θησαυροὺς τοῦ ποιῆσαι μικρὸν μέτρον καὶ τοῦ μεγαλῦναι στάθμια καὶ ποιῆσαι ζυγὸν ἄδικον(lxx) Amo 8:5 Saying: "When will the New Moon be past, That we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, That we may trade wheat? Making the ephah small and the shekel large, Falsifying the scales by deceit,(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:6 ============ Amo 8:6 So as to buy the helpless for money And the needy for a pair of sandals, And that we may sell the refuse of the wheat?"(nasb) Amo 8:6 ut possideamus in argento egenos et pauperes pro calceamentis, et quisquilias frumenti vendamus?(vulgate) Amós 8:6 para comprar a los pobres por dinero, y a los necesitados por un par de zapatos, y para vender los desechos del trigo?(E) Amos 8:6 Puis nous achèterons les misérables pour de l'argent, Et le pauvre pour une paire de souliers, Et nous vendrons la criblure du froment.(F) Amo 8:6 auf daß wir die Armen um Geld und die Dürftigen um ein Paar Schuhe unter uns bringen und Spreu für Korn verkaufen?"(D) Amo 8:6 τοῦ κτᾶσθαι ἐν ἀργυρίῳ πτωχοὺς καὶ ταπεινὸν ἀντὶ ὑποδημάτων καὶ ἀπὸ παντὸς γενήματος ἐμπορευσόμεθα(lxx) Amo 8:6 That we may buy the poor for silver, And the needy for a pair of sandals-- Even sell the bad wheat?"(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:7 ============ Amo 8:7 The Lord has sworn by the pride of Jacob, "Indeed, I will never forget any of their deeds.(nasb) Amo 8:7 Juravit Dominus in superbiam Jacob: Si oblitus fuero usque ad finem omnia opera eorum.(vulgate) Amós 8:7 Jehová juró por la gloria de Jacob: Ciertamente yo no me olvidaré de ninguna de sus obras.(E) Amos 8:7 L'Eternel l'a juré par la gloire de Jacob: Je n'oublierai jamais aucune de leurs oeuvres.(F) Amo 8:7 Der HERR hat geschworen wider die Hoffart Jakobs: Was gilt's, ob ich solcher ihrer Werke ewig vergessen werde?(D) Amo 8:7 ὀμνύει κύριος καθ᾽ ὑπερηφανίας Ιακωβ εἰ ἐπιλησθήσεται εἰς νεῖκος πάντα τὰ ἔργα ὑμῶν(lxx) Amo 8:7 The Lord has sworn by the pride of Jacob: "Surely I will never forget any of their works.(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:8 ============ Amo 8:8 "Because of this will not the land quake And everyone who dwells in it mourn? Indeed, all of it will rise up like the Nile, And it will be tossed about And subside like the Nile of Egypt.(nasb) Amo 8:8 Numquid super isto non commovebitur terra, et lugebit omnis habitator ejus, et ascendet quasi fluvius universus, et ejicicetur, et defluet, quasi rivus Ægypti?(vulgate) Amós 8:8 ¿No se estremecerá por esto la tierra? ¿No llorará todo aquel que habite en ella? Y subirá toda como un río, y será arrojada, y se hundirá como el río de Egipto.(E) Amos 8:8 Le pays, à cause d'elles, ne sera-t-il pas ébranlé, Et tous ses habitants ne seront-ils pas dans le deuil? Le pays montera tout entier comme le fleuve, Il se soulèvera et s'affaissera comme le fleuve d'Egypte.(F) Amo 8:8 Sollte nicht um solches willen das ganze Land erbeben müssen und alle Einwohner trauern? Ja, es soll ganz wie mit einem Wasser überlaufen werden und weggeführt und überschwemmt werden wie mit dem Fluß Ägyptens.(D) Amo 8:8 καὶ ἐπὶ τούτοις οὐ ταραχθήσεται ἡ γῆ καὶ πενθήσει πᾶς ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ ἀναβήσεται ὡς ποταμὸς συντέλεια καὶ καταβήσεται ὡς ποταμὸς Αἰγύπτου(lxx) Amo 8:8 Shall the land not tremble for this, And everyone mourn who dwells in it? All of it shall swell like the River, Heave and subside Like the River of Egypt.(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:9 ============ Amo 8:9 "It will come about in that day," declares the Lord God, "That I will make the sun go down at noon And make the earth dark in broad daylight.(nasb) Amo 8:9 Et erit in die illa, dicit Dominus Deus: occidet sol in meridie, et tenebrescere faciam terram in die luminis:(vulgate) Amós 8:9 Y acontecerá en aquel día, dice el Señor Jehová, que haré que se ponga el sol al mediodía, y la tierra cubriré de tinieblas en el día claro.(E) Amos 8:9 En ce jour-là, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, Je ferai coucher le soleil à midi, Et j'obscurcirai la terre en plein jour;(F) Amo 8:9 Zur selben Zeit, spricht der HERR HERR, will ich die Sonne am Mittag untergehen lassen und das Land am hellen Tage lassen finster werden.(D) Amo 8:9 καὶ ἔσται ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ λέγει κύριος ὁ θεός καὶ δύσεται ὁ ἥλιος μεσημβρίας καὶ συσκοτάσει ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἐν ἡμέρᾳ τὸ φῶς(lxx) Amo 8:9 "And it shall come to pass in that day," says the Lord God, "That I will make the sun go down at noon, And I will darken the earth in broad daylight;(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:10 ============ Amo 8:10 "Then I will turn your festivals into mourning And all your songs into lamentation; And I will bring sackcloth on everyone's loins And baldness on every head. And I will make it like a time of mourning for an only son, And the end of it will be like a bitter day.(nasb) Amo 8:10 et convertam festivitates vestras in luctum, et omnia cantica vestra in planctum, et inducam super omne dorsum vestrum saccum, et super omne caput calvitium: et ponam eam quasi luctum unigeniti, et novissima ejus quasi diem amarum.(vulgate) Amós 8:10 Y tornaré vuestras fiestas en lloro, y todos vuestros cantares en endechas; y pondré cilicio sobre todo lomo, y calvicie sobre toda cabeza; y haré que sea como duelo por hijo único, y su postrimería como día de amargura.(E) Amos 8:10 Je changerai vos fêtes en deuil, Et tous vos chants en lamentations, Je couvrirai de sacs tous les reins, Et je rendrai chauves toutes les têtes; Je mettrai le pays dans le deuil comme pour un fils unique, Et sa fin sera comme un jour d'amertume.(F) Amo 8:10 Ich will eure Feiertage in Trauern und alle eure Lieder in Wehklagen verwandeln; ich will über alle Lenden den Sack binden und alle Köpfe kahl machen, und will ihnen ein Trauern schaffen, wie man über einen einzigen Sohn hat; und sie sollen ein jämmerlich Ende nehmen.(D) Amo 8:10 καὶ μεταστρέψω τὰς ἑορτὰς ὑμῶν εἰς πένθος καὶ πάσας τὰς ᾠδὰς ὑμῶν εἰς θρῆνον καὶ ἀναβιβῶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν ὀσφὺν σάκκον καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν κεφαλὴν φαλάκρωμα καὶ θήσομαι αὐτὸν ὡς πένθος ἀγαπητοῦ καὶ τοὺς μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ ὡς ἡμέραν ὀδύνης(lxx) Amo 8:10 I will turn your feasts into mourning, And all your songs into lamentation; I will bring sackcloth on every waist, And baldness on every head; I will make it like mourning for an only son, And its end like a bitter day.(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:11 ============ Amo 8:11 "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord God, "When I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine for bread or a thirst for water, But rather for hearing the words of the Lord.(nasb) Amo 8:11 Ecce dies veniunt, dicet Dominus, et mittam famem in terram: non famem panis, neque sitim aquæ, sed audiendi verbum Domini.(vulgate) Amós 8:11 He aquí vienen días, dice el Señor Jehová, en los cuales enviaré hambre a la tierra, no hambre de pan, ni sed de agua, sino de oír la palabra de Jehová.(E) Amos 8:11 Voici, les jours viennent, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel, Où j'enverrai la famine dans le pays, Non pas la disette du pain et la soif de l'eau, Mais la faim et la soif d'entendre les paroles de l'Eternel.(F) Amo 8:11 Siehe, es kommt die Zeit, spricht der HERR HERR, daß ich einen Hunger ins Land schicken werde, nicht einen Hunger nach Brot oder Durst nach Wasser, sondern nach dem Wort des HERRN, zu hören;(D) Amo 8:11 ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται λέγει κύριος καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ λιμὸν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν οὐ λιμὸν ἄρτου οὐδὲ δίψαν ὕδατος ἀλλὰ λιμὸν τοῦ ἀκοῦσαι λόγον κυρίου(lxx) Amo 8:11 "Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord God, "That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:12 ============ Amo 8:12 "People will stagger from sea to sea And from the north even to the east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, But shall not find it.(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:13 ============ Amo 8:13 "In that day the beautiful virgins And the young men will faint from thirst.(nasb) Amo 8:13 In die illa deficient virgines pulchræ et adolescentes in siti,(vulgate) Amós 8:13 En aquel tiempo las doncellas hermosas y los jóvenes desmayarán de sed.(E) Amos 8:13 En ce jour, les belles jeunes filles et les jeunes hommes mourront de soif.(F) Amo 8:13 Zu der Zeit werden die schönen Jungfrauen und die Jünglinge verschmachten vor Durst,(D) Amo 8:13 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἐκλείψουσιν αἱ παρθένοι αἱ καλαὶ καὶ οἱ νεανίσκοι ἐν δίψει(lxx) Amo 8:13 "In that day the fair virgins And strong young men Shall faint from thirst.(nkjv) ======= Amos 8:14 ============ Amo 8:14 "As for those who swear by the guilt of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan, 'And, 'As the way of Beersheba lives, 'They will fall and not rise again."(nasb) Amo 8:14 qui jurant in delicto Samariæ, et dicunt: Vivit Deus tuus, Dan, et vivit via Bersabee; et cadent, et non resurgent ultra.](vulgate) Amós 8:14 Los que juran por el pecado de Samaria, y dicen: Vive tu dios, oh Dan: y: Vive el camino de Beerseba, caerán, y nunca más se levantarán.(E) Amos 8:14 Ils jurent par le péché de Samarie, Et ils disent: Vive ton Dieu, Dan! Vive la voie de Beer-Schéba! Mais ils tomberont, et ne se relèveront plus.(F) Amo 8:14 die jetzt schwören bei dem Fluch Samarias und sprechen: "So wahr dein Gott zu Dan lebt! so wahr die Weise zu Beer-Seba lebt!" Denn sie sollen also fallen, daß sie nicht wieder aufstehen.(D) Amo 8:14 οἱ ὀμνύοντες κατὰ τοῦ ἱλασμοῦ Σαμαρείας καὶ οἱ λέγοντες ζῇ ὁ θεός σου Δαν καὶ ζῇ ὁ θεός σου Βηρσαβεε καὶ πεσοῦνται καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀναστῶσιν ἔτι(lxx) Amo 8:14 Those who swear by the sin of Samaria, Who say, 'As your god lives, O Dan!'
