Alors il appela Esaü, son fils aîné, et lui dit: Mon fils! And he said to him, "Here I am."(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:2 ============ Gen 27:2 And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:(KJV) Genesis 27:2 Then he sayd, Beholde, I am nowe olde, and knowe not the day of my death:(Geneva) Genèse 27:2 Isaac dit: Voici donc, je suis vieux, je ne connais pas le jour de ma mort.(FR) 2 ׃27 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר הִנֵּה־נָ֖א זָקַ֑נְתִּי לֹ֥א יָדַ֖עְתִּי י֥וֹם מוֹתִֽי׃ Genesis Gen 27:2 Isaac said, "Behold now, I am old and I do not know the day of my death.(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:3 ============ Gen 27:3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;(KJV) Genesis 27:3 Wherefore nowe, I pray thee take thine instrumentes, thy quiuer and thy bowe, and get thee to the fielde, that thou mayest take mee some venison.(Geneva) Genèse 27:3 Maintenant donc, je te prie, prends tes armes, ton carquois et ton arc, va dans les champs, et chasse-moi du gibier.(FR) 3 ׃27 וְעַתָּה֙ שָׂא־נָ֣א כֵלֶ֔יךָ תֶּלְיְךָ֖ וְקַשְׁתֶּ֑ךָ וְצֵא֙ הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה וְצ֥וּדָה לִּ֖י *צידה **צָֽיִד׃ Genesis Gen 27:3 Now then, please take your gear, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me;(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:4 ============ Gen 27:4 And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.(KJV) Genesis 27:4 Then make mee sauourie meate, such as I loue, and bring it me that I may eat, and that my soule may blesse thee, before I die.(Geneva) Genèse 27:4 Fais-moi un mets comme j'aime, et apporte-le-moi à manger, afin que mon âme te bénisse avant que je meure.(FR) 4 ׃27 וַעֲשֵׂה־לִ֨י מַטְעַמִּ֜ים כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר אָהַ֛בְתִּי וְהָבִ֥יאָה לִּ֖י וְאֹכֵ֑לָה בַּעֲב֛וּר תְּבָרֶכְךָ֥ נַפְשִׁ֖י בְּטֶ֥רֶם אָמֽוּת׃ Genesis Gen 27:4 and prepare a savory dish for me such as I love, and bring it to me that I may eat, so that my soul may bless you before I die."(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:5 ============ Gen 27:5 And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it.(KJV) Genesis 27:5 (Nowe Rebekah heard, when Izhak spake to Esau his sonne) and Esau went into the fielde to hunt for venison, and to bring it.(Geneva) Genèse 27:5 Rebecca écouta ce qu'Isaac disait à Esaü, son fils. Ecoute seulement ma voix, et va me les prendre.(FR) 13 ׃27 וַתֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ אִמּ֔וֹ עָלַ֥י קִלְלָתְךָ֖ בְּנִ֑י אַ֛ךְ שְׁמַ֥ע בְּקֹלִ֖י וְלֵ֥ךְ קַֽח־לִֽי׃ Genesis Gen 27:13 But his mother said to him, "Your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, get them for me."(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:14 ============ Gen 27:14 And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved.(KJV) Genesis 27:14 So he went and set them, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made pleasant meat, such as his father loued.(Geneva) Genèse 27:14 Jacob alla les prendre, et les apporta à sa mère, qui fit un mets comme son père aimait.(FR) 14 ׃27 וַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ וַיִּקַּ֔ח וַיָּבֵ֖א לְאִמּ֑וֹ וַתַּ֤עַשׂ אִמּוֹ֙ מַטְעַמִּ֔ים כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר אָהֵ֥ב אָבִֽיו׃ Genesis Gen 27:14 So he went and got them, and brought them to his mother; and his mother made savory food such as his father loved.(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:15 ============ Gen 27:15 And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:(KJV) Genesis 27:15 And Rebekah tooke faire clothes of her elder sonne Esau, which were in her house, and clothed Iaakob her yonger sonne:(Geneva) Genèse 27:15 Ensuite, Rebecca prit les vêtements d'Esaü, son fils aîné, les plus beaux qui se trouvaient à la maison, et elle les fit mettre à Jacob, son fils cadet.(FR) 15 ׃27 וַתִּקַּ֣ח רִ֠בְקָה אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֨י עֵשָׂ֜ו בְּנָ֤הּ הַגָּדֹל֙ הַחֲמֻדֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִתָּ֖הּ בַּבָּ֑יִת וַתַּלְבֵּ֥שׁ אֶֽת־יַעֲקֹ֖ב בְּנָ֥הּ הַקָּטָֽן׃ Genesis Gen 27:15 Then Rebekah took the best garments of Esau her elder son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob her younger son.(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:16 ============ Gen 27:16 And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:(KJV) Genesis 27:16 And she couered his hands and the smoothe of his necke with the skinnes of the kiddes of the goates.(Geneva) Genèse 27:16 Elle couvrit ses mains de la peau des chevreaux, et son cou qui était sans poil.(FR) 16 ׃27 וְאֵ֗ת עֹרֹת֙ גְּדָיֵ֣י הָֽעִזִּ֔ים הִלְבִּ֖ישָׁה עַל־יָדָ֑יו וְעַ֖ל חֶלְקַ֥ת צַוָּארָֽיו׃ Genesis Gen 27:16 And she put the skins of the young goats on his hands and on the smooth part of his neck.(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:17 ============ Gen 27:17 And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.(KJV) Genesis 27:17 Afterward she put the pleasant meate and bread, which she had prepared, in the hand of her sonne Iaakob.(Geneva) Genèse 27:17 Et elle plaça dans la main de Jacob, son fils, le mets et le pain qu'elle avait préparés.(FR) 17 ׃27 וַתִּתֵּ֧ן אֶת־הַמַּטְעַמִּ֛ים וְאֶת־הַלֶּ֖חֶם אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֑תָה בְּיַ֖ד יַעֲקֹ֥ב בְּנָֽהּ׃ Genesis Gen 27:17 She also gave the savory food and the bread, which she had made, to her son Jacob.(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:18 ============ Gen 27:18 And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?(KJV) Genesis 27:18 And when he came to his father, he sayd, My father. And he said, "Here I am. Who are you, my son?"(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:19 ============ Gen 27:19 And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy first born; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.(KJV) Genesis 27:19 And Iaakob sayde to his father, I am Esau thy first borne, I haue done as thou badest me, arise, I pray thee: sit vp and eate of my venison, that thy soule may blesse me.(Geneva) Genèse 27:19 Jacob répondit à son père: Je suis Esaü, ton fils aîné; j'ai fait ce que tu m'as dit. Get up, please, sit and eat of my game, that you may bless me."(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:20 ============ Gen 27:20 And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me.(KJV) Genesis 27:20 Then Izhak said vnto his sonne, Howe hast thou founde it so quickly my sonne? Who sayde, Because the Lorde thy God brought it to mine hande.(Geneva) Genèse 27:20 Isaac dit à son fils: Eh quoi! tu en as déjà trouvé, mon fils! Et Jacob répondit: C'est que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, l'a fait venir devant moi.(FR) 20 ׃27 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יִצְחָק֙ אֶל־בְּנ֔וֹ מַה־זֶּ֛ה מִהַ֥רְתָּ לִמְצֹ֖א בְּנִ֑י וַיֹּ֕אמֶר כִּ֥י הִקְרָ֛ה יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ לְפָנָֽי׃ Genesis Gen 27:20 Isaac said to his son, "How is it that you have it so quickly, my son?" And he said, "Because the Lord your God caused it to happen to me."(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:21 ============ Gen 27:21 And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.(KJV) Genesis 27:21 Againe sayde Izhak vnto Iaakob, Come neere nowe, that I may feele thee, my sonne, whether thou be that my sonne Esau or not.(Geneva) Genèse 27:21 Isaac dit à Jacob: Approche donc, et que je te touche, mon fils, pour savoir si tu es mon fils Esaü, ou non.(FR) 21 ׃27 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יִצְחָק֙ אֶֽל־יַעֲקֹ֔ב גְּשָׁה־נָּ֥א וַאֲמֻֽשְׁךָ֖ בְּנִ֑י הַֽאַתָּ֥ה זֶ֛ה בְּנִ֥י עֵשָׂ֖ו אִם־לֹֽא׃ Genesis Gen 27:21 Then Isaac said to Jacob, "Please come close, that I may feel you, my son, whether you are really my son Esau or not."(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:22 ============ Gen 27:22 And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.(KJV) Genesis 27:22 Then Iaakob came neere to Izhak his father, and he felt him and sayd, The voyce is Iaakobs voyce, but the hands are the hands of Esau.(Geneva) Genèse 27:22 Jacob s'approcha d'Isaac, son père, qui le toucha, et dit: La voix est la voix de Jacob, mais les mains sont les mains d'Esaü.(FR) 22 ׃27 וַיִּגַּ֧שׁ יַעֲקֹ֛ב אֶל־יִצְחָ֥ק אָבִ֖יו וַיְמֻשֵּׁ֑הוּ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הַקֹּל֙ ק֣וֹל יַעֲקֹ֔ב וְהַיָּדַ֖יִם יְדֵ֥י עֵשָֽׂו׃ Genesis Gen 27:22 So Jacob came close to Isaac his father, and he felt him and said, "The voice is the voice of Jacob, but the hands are the hands of Esau."(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:23 ============ Gen 27:23 And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him.(KJV) Genesis 27:23 (For he knewe him not, because his hands were rough as his brother Esaus hands: wherefore he blessed him)(Geneva) Genèse 27:23 Il ne le reconnut pas, parce que ses mains étaient velues, comme les mains d'Esaü, son frère; et il le bénit.(FR) 23 ׃27 וְלֹ֣א הִכִּיר֔וֹ כִּֽי־הָי֣וּ יָדָ֗יו כִּידֵ֛י עֵשָׂ֥ו אָחִ֖יו שְׂעִרֹ֑ת וַֽיְבָרְכֵֽהוּ׃ Genesis Gen 27:23 He did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau's hands; so he blessed him.(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:24 ============ Gen 27:24 And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.(KJV) Genesis 27:24 Againe he sayd, Art thou that my sonne Esau? Who answered, Yea.(Geneva) Genèse 27:24 Il dit: C'est toi qui es mon fils Esaü? Et Jacob répondit: C'est moi.(FR) 24 ׃27 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר אַתָּ֥ה זֶ֖ה בְּנִ֣י עֵשָׂ֑ו וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אָֽנִי׃ Genesis Gen 27:24 And he said, "Are you really my son Esau?" And he said, "I am."(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:25 ============ Gen 27:25 And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine and he drank.(KJV) Genesis 27:25 Then said he, Bring it me hither, and I will eate of my sonnes venison, that my soule may blesse thee; he brought it to him, and he ate: also he brought him wine, and he dranke.(Geneva) Genèse 27:25 Isaac dit: Sers-moi, et que je mange du gibier de mon fils, afin que mon âme te bénisse. Jacob le servit, et il mangea; il lui apporta aussi du vin, et il but.(FR) 25 ׃27 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הַגִּ֤שָׁה לִּי֙ וְאֹֽכְלָה֙ מִצֵּ֣יד בְּנִ֔י לְמַ֥עַן תְּבָֽרֶכְךָ֖ נַפְשִׁ֑י וַיַּגֶּשׁ־לוֹ֙ וַיֹּאכַ֔ל וַיָּ֧בֵא ל֦וֹ יַ֖יִן וַיֵּֽשְׁתְּ׃ Genesis Gen 27:25 So he said, "Bring it to me, and I will eat of my son's game, that I may bless you." Why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?"(nasb) ======= Genesis 27:46 ============ Gen 27:46 And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me?(kjv) Genesis 27:46 Also Rebekah said to Izhak, I am weary of my life, for the daughters of Heth. If Iaakob take a wife of the daughters of Heth like these of the daughters of the lande, what auaileth it me to liue?(Geneva) Genèse 27:46 Rebecca dit à Isaac: Je suis dégoûtée de la vie, à cause des filles de Heth.
