Il dit:(FR) 1 ׃35 וַיְדַבֵּ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּעַֽרְבֹ֣ת מוֹאָ֑ב עַל־יַרְדֵּ֥ן יְרֵח֖וֹ לֵאמֹֽר׃ Numbers Num 35:1 Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:2 ============ Num 35:2 Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them.(KJV) Numbers 35:2 Commande ye children of Israel, that they giue vnto the Leuites of the inheritace of their possession, cities to dwell in: yee shall giue also vnto the Leuites the suburbes of the cities round about them.(Geneva) Nombres 35:2 Ordonne aux enfants d'Israël d'accorder aux Lévites, sur l'héritage qu'ils posséderont, des villes où ils puissent habiter. Vous donnerez aussi aux Lévites une banlieue autour de ces villes.(FR) 2 ׃35 צַו֮ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ וְנָתְנ֣וּ לַלְוִיִּ֗ם מִֽנַּחֲלַ֛ת אֲחֻזָּתָ֖ם עָרִ֣ים לָשָׁ֑בֶת וּמִגְרָ֗שׁ לֶֽעָרִים֙ סְבִיבֹ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם תִּתְּנ֖וּ לַלְוִיִּֽם׃ Numbers Num 35:2 "Command the sons of Israel that they give to the Levites from the inheritance of their possession cities to live in; and you shall give to the Levites pasture lands around the cities.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:3 ============ Num 35:3 And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts.(KJV) Numbers 35:3 So they shall haue the cities to dwell in, & their suburbes shall be for their cattell, and for their substance, and for all their beasts.(Geneva) Nombres 35:3 Ils auront les villes pour y habiter; et les banlieues seront pour leur bétail, pour leurs biens et pour tous leurs animaux.(FR) 3 ׃35 וְהָי֧וּ הֽ͏ֶעָרִ֛ים לָהֶ֖ם לָשָׁ֑בֶת וּמִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֗ם יִהְי֤וּ לִבְהֶמְתָּם֙ וְלִרְכֻשָׁ֔ם וּלְכֹ֖ל חַיָּתָֽם׃ Numbers Num 35:3 The cities shall be theirs to live in; and their pasture lands shall be for their cattle and for their herds and for all their beasts.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:4 ============ Num 35:4 And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about.(KJV) Numbers 35:4 And the suburbes of the cities, which ye shal giue vnto the Leuites, from the wall of the citie outward, shalbe a thousand cubites round about.(Geneva) Nombres 35:4 Les banlieues des villes que vous donnerez aux Lévites auront, à partir du mur de la ville et au dehors, mille coudées tout autour.(FR) 4 ׃35 וּמִגְרְשֵׁי֙ הֶֽעָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּתְּנ֖וּ לַלְוִיִּ֑ם מִקִּ֤יר הָעִיר֙ וָח֔וּצָה אֶ֥לֶף אַמָּ֖ה סָבִֽיב׃ Numbers Num 35:4 "The pasture lands of the cities which you shall give to the Levites shall extend from the wall of the city outward a thousand cubits around.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:5 ============ Num 35:5 And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.(KJV) Numbers 35:5 And yee shall measure without the citie of the Eastside, two thousand cubites: and of the Southside, two thousand cubites: & of the Westside, two thousand cubites: & of ye Northside, two thousand cubites: & the citie shalbe in ye middes. this shalbe the measure of the suburbes of their cities.(Geneva) Nombres 35:5 Vous mesurerez, en dehors de la ville, deux mille coudées pour le côté oriental, deux mille coudées pour le côté méridional, deux mille coudées pour le côté occidental, et deux mille coudées pour le côté septentrional. La ville sera au milieu. Telles seront les banlieues de leurs villes.(FR) 5 ׃35 וּמַדֹּתֶ֞ם מִח֣וּץ לָעִ֗יר אֶת־פְּאַת־קֵ֣דְמָה אַלְפַּ֪יִם בָּֽאַמָּ֟ה וְאֶת־פְּאַת־נֶגֶב֩ אַלְפַּ֨יִם בָּאַמָּ֜ה וְאֶת־פְּאַת־יָ֣ם ׀ אַלְפַּ֣יִם בָּֽאַמָּ֗ה וְאֵ֨ת פְּאַ֥ת צָפ֛וֹן אַלְפַּ֥יִם בָּאַמָּ֖ה וְהָעִ֣יר בַּתָּ֑וֶךְ זֶ֚ה יִהְיֶ֣ה לָהֶ֔ם מִגְרְשֵׁ֖י הֶעָרִֽים׃ Numbers Num 35:5 You shall also measure outside the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits, with the city in the center. This shall become theirs as pasture lands for the cities. (nasb) ======= Numbers 35:6 ============ Num 35:6 And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities.(KJV) Numbers 35:6 And of the cities which yee shall giue vnto the Leuites, there shalbe sixe cities for refuge, which ye shal appoint, that he which killeth, may flee thither: and to them yee shall adde two and fourtie cities mo.(Geneva) Nombres 35:6 Parmi les villes que vous donnerez aux Lévites, il y aura six villes de refuge où pourra s'enfuir le meurtrier, et quarante-deux autres villes.(FR) 6 ׃35 וְאֵ֣ת הֶֽעָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר תִּתְּנוּ֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם אֵ֚ת שֵׁשׁ־עָרֵ֣י הַמִּקְלָ֔ט אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּתְּנ֔וּ לָנֻ֥ס שָׁ֖מָּה הָרֹצֵ֑חַ וַעֲלֵיהֶ֣ם תִּתְּנ֔וּ אַרְבָּעִ֥ים וּשְׁתַּ֖יִם עִֽיר׃ Numbers Num 35:6 The cities which you shall give to the Levites shall be the six cities of refuge, which you shall give for the manslayer to flee to; and in addition to them you shall give forty-two cities.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:7 ============ Num 35:7 So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs.(KJV) Numbers 35:7 All the cities which yee shall giue to the Leuites, shalbe eight and fourtie cities: them shal ye giue with their suburbes.(Geneva) Nombres 35:7 Total des villes que vous donnerez aux Lévites: quarante-huit villes, avec leurs banlieues.(FR) 7 ׃35 כָּל־הֶעָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר תִּתְּנוּ֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם אַרְבָּעִ֥ים וּשְׁמֹנֶ֖ה עִ֑יר אֶתְהֶ֖ן וְאֶת־מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶֽן׃ Numbers Num 35:7 All the cities which you shall give to the Levites shall be forty-eight cities, together with their pasture lands.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:8 ============ Num 35:8 And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many ye shall give many; but from them that have few ye shall give few: every one shall give of his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth.(KJV) Numbers 35:8 And concerning the cities which yee shall giue, of the possession of the children of Israel: of many ye shall take mo, and of few ye shall take lesse: euery one shall giue of his cities vnto the Leuites, according to his inheritance, which hee inheriteth.(Geneva) Nombres 35:8 Les villes que vous donnerez sur les propriétés des enfants d'Israël seront livrées en plus grand nombre par ceux qui en ont le plus, et en plus petit nombre par ceux qui en ont moins; chacun donnera de ses villes aux Lévites à proportion de l'héritage qu'il possédera.(FR) 8 ׃35 וְהֶֽעָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר תִּתְּנוּ֙ מֵאֲחֻזַּ֣ת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵאֵ֤ת הָרַב֙ תַּרְבּ֔וּ וּמֵאֵ֥ת הַמְעַ֖ט תַּמְעִ֑יטוּ אִ֗ישׁ כְּפִ֤י נַחֲלָתוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִנְחָ֔לוּ יִתֵּ֥ן מֵעָרָ֖יו לַלְוִיִּֽם׃ פ Numbers Num 35:8 As for the cities which you shall give from the possession of the sons of Israel, you shall take more from the larger and you shall take less from the smaller; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares.(KJV) Numbers 35:11 Ye shall appoint you cities, to bee cities of refuge for you, that the slayer, which slayeth any person vnwares, may flee thither.(Geneva) Nombres 35:11 vous vous établirez des villes qui soient pour vous des villes de refuge, où pourra s'enfuir le meurtrier qui aura tué quelqu'un involontairement.(FR) 11 ׃35 וְהִקְרִיתֶ֤ם לָכֶם֙ עָרִ֔ים עָרֵ֥י מִקְלָ֖ט תִּהְיֶ֣ינָה לָכֶ֑ם וְנָ֥ס שָׁ֙מָּה֙ רֹצֵ֔חַ מַכֵּה־נֶ֖פֶשׁ בִּשְׁגָגָֽה׃ Numbers Num 35:11 then you shall select for yourselves cities to be your cities of refuge, that the manslayer who has killed any person unintentionally may flee there.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:12 ============ Num 35:12 And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment.(KJV) Numbers 35:12 And these cities shalbe for you a refuge fro the auenger, that he which killeth, die not, vntill he stand before the Congregation in iudgement.(Geneva) Nombres 35:12 Ces villes vous serviront de refuge contre le vengeur du sang, afin que le meurtrier ne soit point mis à mort avant d'avoir comparu devant l'assemblée pour être jugé.(FR) 12 ׃35 וְהָי֨וּ לָכֶ֧ם הֶעָרִ֛ים לְמִקְלָ֖ט מִגֹּאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֤א יָמוּת֙ הָרֹצֵ֔חַ עַד־עָמְד֛וֹ לִפְנֵ֥י הָעֵדָ֖ה לַמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ Numbers Num 35:12 The cities shall be to you as a refuge from the avenger, so that the manslayer will not die until he stands before the congregation for trial.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:13 ============ Num 35:13 And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge.(KJV) Numbers 35:13 And of the cities which ye shall giue, sixe cities shall ye haue for refuge.(Geneva) Nombres 35:13 Des villes que vous donnerez, six seront pour vous des villes de refuge.(FR) 13 ׃35 וְהֶעָרִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּתֵּ֑נוּ שֵׁשׁ־עָרֵ֥י מִקְלָ֖ט תִּהְיֶ֥ינָה לָכֶֽם׃ Numbers Num 35:13 The cities which you are to give shall be your six cities of refuge.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:14 ============ Num 35:14 Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.(KJV) Numbers 35:14 Ye shall appoint three on this side Iorden, and ye shall appoint three cities in the lande of Canaan which shalbe cities of refuge.(Geneva) Nombres 35:14 Vous donnerez trois villes au delà du Jourdain, et vous donnerez trois villes dans le pays de Canaan: ce seront des villes de refuge.(FR) 14 ׃35 אֵ֣ת ׀ שְׁלֹ֣שׁ הֶעָרִ֗ים תִּתְּנוּ֙ מֵעֵ֣בֶר לַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן וְאֵת֙ שְׁלֹ֣שׁ הֶֽעָרִ֔ים תִּתְּנ֖וּ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן עָרֵ֥י מִקְלָ֖ט תִּהְיֶֽינָה׃ Numbers Num 35:14 You shall give three cities across the Jordan and three cities in the land of Canaan; they are to be cities of refuge.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:15 ============ Num 35:15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.(KJV) Numbers 35:15 These six cities shalbe a refuge for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for him that dwelleth among you, that euery one which killeth any person vnwares, may flee thither.(Geneva) Nombres 35:15 Ces six villes serviront de refuge aux enfants d'Israël, à l'étranger et à celui qui demeure au milieu de vous: là pourra s'enfuir tout homme qui aura tué quelqu'un involontairement.(FR) 15 ׃35 לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְלַגֵּ֤ר וְלַתּוֹשָׁב֙ בְּתוֹכָ֔ם תִּהְיֶ֛ינָה שֵׁשׁ־הֶעָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה לְמִקְלָ֑ט לָנ֣וּס שָׁ֔מָּה כָּל־מַכֵּה־נֶ֖פֶשׁ בִּשְׁגָגָֽה׃ Numbers Num 35:15 These six cities shall be for refuge for the sons of Israel, and for the alien and for the sojourner among them; that anyone who kills a person unintentionally may flee there.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:16 ============ Num 35:16 And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.(KJV) Numbers 35:16 And if one smite another with an instrument of yron that hee die, hee is a murtherer, and the murtherer shall die the death.(Geneva) Nombres 35:16 Si un homme frappe son prochain avec un instrument de fer, et que la mort en soit la suite, c'est un meurtrier: le meurtrier sera puni de mort.(FR) 16 ׃35 וְאִם־בִּכְלִ֨י בַרְזֶ֧ל ׀ הִכָּ֛הוּ וַיָּמֹ֖ת רֹצֵ֣חַֽ ה֑וּא מ֥וֹת יוּמַ֖ת הָרֹצֵֽחַ׃ Numbers Num 35:16 'But if he struck him down with an iron object, so that he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:17 ============ Num 35:17 And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.(KJV) Numbers 35:17 Also if hee smite him by casting a stone, wherewith hee may be slaine, and he die, hee is a murtherer, and the murtherer shall die the death.(Geneva) Nombres 35:17 S'il le frappe, tenant à la main une pierre qui puisse causer la mort, et que la mort en soit la suite, c'est un meurtrier: le meurtrier sera puni de mort.(FR) 17 ׃35 וְאִ֡ם בְּאֶ֣בֶן יָד֩ אֲשֶׁר־יָמ֨וּת בָּ֥הּ הִכָּ֛הוּ וַיָּמֹ֖ת רֹצֵ֣חַֽ ה֑וּא מ֥וֹת יוּמַ֖ת הָרֹצֵֽחַ׃ Numbers Num 35:17 If he struck him down with a stone in the hand, by which he will die, and as a result he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:19 ============ Num 35:19 The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.(KJV) Numbers 35:19 The reuenger of the blood himselfe shall slay the murtherer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.(Geneva) Nombres 35:19 Le vengeur du sang fera mourir le meurtrier; he shall put him to death when he meets him.(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:20 ============ Num 35:20 But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die;(KJV) Numbers 35:20 But if hee thrust him of hate, or hurle at him by laying of wait, that he die,(Geneva) Nombres 35:20 Si un homme pousse son prochain par un mouvement de haine, ou s'il jette quelque chose sur lui avec préméditation, et que la mort en soit la suite,(FR) 20 ׃35 וְאִם־בְּשִׂנְאָ֖ה יֶהְדָּפֶ֑נּוּ אֽוֹ־הִשְׁלִ֥יךְ עָלָ֛יו בִּצְדִיָּ֖ה וַיָּמֹֽת׃ Numbers Num 35:20 If he pushed him of hatred, or threw something at him lying in wait and as a result he died,(nasb) ======= Numbers 35:21 ============ Num 35:21 Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.(KJV) Numbers 35:21 Or smite him through enimitie with his hand, that he die, he that smote him shal die ye death: for hee is a murtherer: the reuenger of the blood shall slay the murtherer when he meeteth him.(Geneva) Nombres 35:21 ou s'il le frappe de sa main par inimitié, et que la mort en soit la suite, celui qui a frappé sera puni de mort, c'est un meurtrier: le vengeur du sang tuera le meurtrier, quand il le rencontrera.(FR) 21 ׃35 א֣וֹ בְאֵיבָ֞ה הִכָּ֤הוּ בְיָדוֹ֙ וַיָּמֹ֔ת מֽוֹת־יוּמַ֥ת הַמַּכֶּ֖ה רֹצֵ֣חַֽ ה֑וּא גֹּאֵ֣ל הַדָּ֗ם יָמִ֛ית אֶת־הָרֹצֵ֖חַ בְּפִגְעוֹ־בֽוֹ׃ Numbers Num 35:21 or if he struck him down with his hand in enmity, and as a result he died, the one who struck him shall surely be put to death, he is a murderer;
