Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." (nasb) ======= Joshua 1:10 ============ Jos 1:10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,(KJV) Joshua 1:10 Then Ioshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,(Geneva) Josué 1:10 Josué donna cet ordre aux officiers du peuple:(FR) 10 ׃1 וַיְצַ֣ו יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ אֶת־שֹׁטְרֵ֥י הָעָ֖ם לֵאמֹֽר׃ Joshua Jos 1:10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,(nasb) ======= Joshua 1:11 ============ Jos 1:11 Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.(KJV) Joshua 1:11 Passe through the hoste, and commande the people, saying, Prepare you vitailes: for after three dayes ye shall passe ouer this Iorden, to goe in to possesse the lande, which the Lord your God giueth you to possesse it.(Geneva) Josué 1:11 Parcourez le camp, et voici ce que vous commanderez au peuple: Préparez-vous des provisions, car dans trois jours vous passerez ce Jourdain pour aller conquérir le pays dont l'Eternel, votre Dieu, vous donne la possession.(FR) 11 ׃1 עִבְר֣וּ ׀ בְּקֶ֣רֶב הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֗ה וְצַוּ֤וּ אֶת־הָעָם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הָכִ֥ינוּ לָכֶ֖ם צֵידָ֑ה כִּ֞י בְּע֣וֹד ׀ שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֗ים אַתֶּם֙ עֹֽבְרִים֙ אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֣ן הַזֶּ֔ה לָבוֹא֙ לָרֶ֣שֶׁת אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם נֹתֵ֥ן לָכֶ֖ם לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ ס Joshua Jos 1:11 "Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, saying, 'Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you are to cross this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you, to possess it.'"(nasb) ======= Joshua 1:12 ============ Jos 1:12 And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying,(KJV) Joshua 1:12 And vnto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to halfe the tribe of Manasseh spake Ioshua, saying,(Geneva) Josué 1:12 Josué dit aux Rubénites, aux Gadites et à la demi-tribu de Manassé:(FR) 12 ׃1 וְלָרֽאוּבֵנִי֙ וְלַגָּדִ֔י וְלַחֲצִ֖י שֵׁ֣בֶט הַֽמְנַשֶּׁ֑ה אָמַ֥ר יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ לֵאמֹֽר׃ Joshua Jos 1:12 To the Reubenites and to the Gadites and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said,(nasb) ======= Joshua 1:13 ============ Jos 1:13 Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.(KJV) Joshua 1:13 Remember the worde, which Moses the seruant of the Lord commanded you, saying, The Lord your God hath giuen you rest, and hath giuen you this land.(Geneva) Josué 1:13 Rappelez-vous ce que vous a prescrit Moïse, serviteur de l'Eternel, quand il a dit: L'Eternel, votre Dieu, vous a accordé du repos, et vous a donné ce pays.(FR) 13 ׃1 זָכוֹר֙ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֥ה אֶתְכֶ֛ם מֹשֶׁ֥ה עֶֽבֶד־יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם֙ מֵנִ֣יחַ לָכֶ֔ם וְנָתַ֥ן לָכֶ֖ם אֶת־הָאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּֽאת׃ Joshua Jos 1:13 "Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, 'The Lord your God gives you rest and will give you this land.'(nasb) ======= Joshua 1:14 ============ Jos 1:14 Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;(KJV) Joshua 1:14 Your wiues, your children, and your cattell shall remaine in the land which Moses gaue you on this side Iorden: but ye shall goe ouer before your brethren armed, all that be men of warre, and shall helpe them,(Geneva) Josué 1:14 Vos femmes, vos petits enfants et vos troupeaux resteront dans le pays que vous a donné Moïse de ce côté-ci du Jourdain; Then you shall return to your own land, and possess that which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise."(nasb) ======= Joshua 1:16 ============ Jos 1:16 And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.(KJV) Joshua 1:16 Then they answered Ioshua, saying, Al that thou hast commaunded vs, we will doe, and whithersoeuer thou sendest vs, we will goe.(Geneva) Josué 1:16 Ils répondirent à Josué, en disant: Nous ferons tout ce que tu nous as ordonné, et nous irons partout où tu nous enverras.(FR) 16 ׃1 וַֽיַּעֲנ֔וּ אֶת־יְהוֹשֻׁ֖עַ לֵאמֹ֑ר כֹּ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוִּיתָ֙נוּ֙ נֽ͏ַעֲשֶׂ֔ה וְאֶֽל־כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּשְׁלָחֵ֖נוּ נֵלֵֽךְ׃ Joshua Jos 1:16 They answered Joshua, saying, "All that you have commanded us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.(nasb) ======= Joshua 1:17 ============ Jos 1:17 According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses.(KJV) Joshua 1:17 As we obeyed Moses in all things, so will we obey thee: onely the Lorde thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses.(Geneva) Josué 1:17 Nous t'obéirons entièrement, comme nous avons obéi à Moïse. Veuille seulement l'Eternel, ton Dieu, être avec toi, comme il a été avec Moïse!(FR) 17 ׃1 כְּכֹ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־שָׁמַ֙עְנוּ֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה כֵּ֖ן נִשְׁמַ֣ע אֵלֶ֑יךָ רַ֠ק יִֽהְיֶ֞ה יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ עִמָּ֔ךְ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָיָ֖ה עִם־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Joshua Jos 1:17 Just as we obeyed Moses in all things, so we will obey you; only may the Lord your God be with you as He was with Moses.(nasb) ======= Joshua 1:18 ============ Jos 1:18 Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.(kjv) Joshua 1:18 Whosoeuer shall rebell against thy commaundement, and will not obey thy wordes in all that thou commaundest him, let him bee put to death: onely be strong and of good courage.(Geneva) Josué 1:18 Tout homme qui sera rebelle à ton ordre, et qui n'obéira pas à tout ce que tu lui commanderas, sera puni de mort. Fortifie-toi seulement, et prends courage!(FR) 18 ׃1 כָּל־אִ֞ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יַמְרֶ֣ה אֶת־פִּ֗יךָ וְלֹֽא־יִשְׁמַ֧ע אֶת־דְּבָרֶ֛יךָ לְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־תְּצַוֶּ֖נּוּ יוּמָ֑ת רַ֖ק חֲזַ֥ק וֶאֱמָֽץ׃ פ Joshua Jos 1:18 Anyone who rebels against your command and does not obey your words in all that you command him, shall be put to death; only be strong and courageous."
